Suddenly, Zero's right eye turned white again, but he looked more exhausted. 'Sorry for what I looked before. I'm sometimes like this…' he said. 'What causes you like that?' Asked SMG3. 'Well, it's a long story, and—ARGH!' Zero shouted, and his eyes slowly turned yellow. 'Seriously, you think I'm actually that good?' Said Zero. The others just stood there, frightened. Zero's right eye colour started to flicker like flashing lights. He suddenly kneeled down in pain. 'Leave me while you can…' said Zero, as he tried to fight through his insanity. FM felt sorry for Zero and tried to help, but Zero refused. 'Go away,' he said, while having a headache because of his 'flashing' personality change, 'I'm afraid I can't hold it anymore. Go find a Guardian Pod, destroy the machine and free your friends.'
That's when Meggy, her team and the other recoloured Marios came. 'What happened?' Asked Tish. FM simply grabbed SLG4 and ran away. 'Can you at least tell me!?' Shouted SLG4. FM then pointed at Zero, going insane. 'Run away from that textureless Mario. We'll tell you later after we find a safe spot,' said X.
After telling what happened, 'So that's why FM didn't speak up?' Asked SLG4. 'Yes,' answered SMG3, 'And we have no idea what to do now.' FM then pointed at the Guardian Pod. 'We still have SMG4 and Mario to save!' Said Meggy, 'Quick, to the cathedral!'
