It was the little things, she thought.

It was when he always took time out for her, when he remembered the tiniest details about her, when he waited outside her window for an hour just to be the first person who wished her on her birthday, and when he felt guilty for not knowing when she cried as he was not the one to console her.

A small smile formed on her red pouty lips when she thought about this, about him.

Their relation was an unusual one. She was a hero, a titan, a half demon; while he was an anti- hero, a former Robin, resurrected by the Lazarus pit. Both were poles apart but there was something that was extremely similar in them. Somewhere between bantering, fighting, trusting and understanding each other they realized that person in front of them is their equal.

They fought for each other and stood with each other through any and every challenge that was thrown their way and in those hard ships they found the one person who would stand by them forever.

Even they didn't know when their friendship transformed into something more. It took several fights, jealousy, and the efforts of their friends to make them realize their feelings for each other and when they did-

Her train of thought was broken by a heavy arm pulling her back into a warm, muscled chest and a small kiss being planted on her temple by the owner of that arm. "G'morning…"

She leaned back in his embrace, his husky voice sending shivers down her spine as she placed a kiss on his jaw and said "Good morning."

He hummed and slowly opened his eyes, his eyes blaring green for a moment before turning back to aquamarine with the ring of green around them as he looked at the woman nestled in his embrace and he felt content, happy and in love.

"You shouldn't be here." She said looking up at him and he smirked before pulling her even closer so that only her shirt and his boxers were separating them and said "You weren't complaining last night."

He had the pleasure of seeing the normally stoic empath turn red and smiled before turning her on her back so that he can hover over her, settling a bit of his weight on her. She turned her head to the side in an attempt to hide her blush. He smiled at the woman in his arms, even after all these years he still had the ability to make her blush and he hoped that this would remain the same for a long time.

He brought his right hand to her chin and made her look at him as her caressed her face with the same hand. They look in his eyes made her heart beat faster which he probably could feel as he smirked and brought his face closer to hers.

She smiled unconsciously, the blush never leaving her face but she still tried to free herself and said in a warning tone "Kori would be here in any moment now."

He set a little more of his weight on her before bringing his face even closer to hers and brushing his lips against hers as he said "I don't care."

All her complaints died when he pressed his lips against hers, she could feel all the love he is feeling right now and that just enhanced her feelings. The kiss was passionate and full of love and tilted his face to deepen the kiss. They both were drowning in the love they had for each other, their bodies giving in to the passion.

They were broken apart when they heard a loud "JASON!"

He groaned in annoyance before looking at the woman he loves with her lips swollen from the kiss and her skin glowing with that gorgeous blush. He leaned down again, this time placing a sweet kiss on her nose and lifting his weight from her and falling beside her, finally looking at the intruder now.

"Jason, you are not supposed to be the here." The said woman shrieked at the man while walking towards him and yanked him out of the bed while scolding him. "You know it is the bad luck for the groom to see the bride before the ceremony."

She pulled him towards the window and was pushing him out, he fell on the grass and hopped up "Let me at least get my clothes Kori, I am almost naked here." He looked at Raven for help but she was laughing at his plight as Kori huffed, shutting the glass window and walking away.

He glared at the back of the red head before turning towards his almost wife. His eyes turned soft and he blew a kiss towards her and winked before wearing his pants and his hoodie, seeing that she was still in his shirt and walked away.

"Okay." Kori began turning towards Raven, "It's time to get ready."

The smile never left her red lips as the empath walked towards her best friend.

Yes, it was the little things that made her fall in love with him.
