"What the hell does that mean! I thought you said this is your home and you didn't want to go there."
"This is my home but when I found out I'm pregnant, I wasn't able to hide it from Sesshomaru. He found out when he came to visit me and I didn't hide it in time. Since my baby carries the Inu iyoukai bloodline, I have to go especially since Inuyasha is...dead and I won't be able to fully protect my baby with my weak powers."
"No you can't go. Not after everything we have been through. You're not damaged Kagome! I love you! There is no way I'm letting you go. Not ever again." Pulling Kagome into his arms and kissing her.
"You have no rights over my heir." Sesshomaru walks into the hut. "The pup she carries belongs to the west."
Kouga and Sesshomaru stared at each other with Kagome in between them. Feeling the heat building up between the two demon lords, Kagome felt her legs giving out.
Both demon lords reached for her at the same time before she hit the ground. Sesshomaru pulled her toward himself and then gently sat her on the furs next to him.
"The miko is under my protection and the western lands. She will be coming with me. Her pup is my heir." Looking straight at Kouga.
"That is not your choice to make. She and I are imprinted. She is coming with me and the pup will be mine to raise." Glaring back.
"Wait a minute! Don't I have a say in this! It's my baby!" standing up angrily at the two bickering demons.
"What do you want miko?" Sesshomaru looked at her with his stoic expression. "Remember this, you gave your word to this one. You need to think well before you answer."
"Don't you dare pressure her!" He growled.
"Wolf, you know once an agreement is made, it cannot be broken. That is demon law punishable by death."
Kouga knew this is law especially with the demon royalty but at the moment he didn't care... he would fight for Kagome with everything he got.
"Kouga…"
Snapping out of thought and looking at the defeated woman on her knees.
"Sesshomaru is right. I cannot go back on my word. This is for my baby that carries his bloodline. My baby comes first." Holding in her tears.
Smirking in victory at the wolf, "Miko, this one will return in a week to take you to the western palace. Make sure you are ready." as Sesshomaru disappeared thru the door on his cloud.
