They bound his hands and feet with celestial bronze chains and for five minutes straight Clark was kicked and stomped on.
"Alright, he had enough!" Jimmie said before delivering a final kick to the stomach.
Clark laid on the floor groaning in pain, orange blood leaking out of his mouth and nose.
"Set him up, set him up!" Jimmie orders his brothers. Robbie and Walt grab Clark and set him on his knees.
Clark's eye flicker on and off. He groaned. "Why can't you guys leave me alone. Over eight thousand years I have been chase off."
Jimmie chuckled, "It's your own fault Clark, you lost your eye to Hephaestus and disgrace our entire species. Not only that but you build weapons for demigods!"
Clark spat, "They're just kids, Jimmie, they need to defend themselves. Most of them dont even make it past twenty years."
The Gaskets laughed. Walt then said. "So what? It the parent's fault for not keeping it in their pants. Plus demigods taste really if cooked right."
Clark felt disgusted that fact that he is the same species as these guys.
"How you guys even find me?"
Jimmie chuckled, "It's quite funny, you see unfortunately our brother Thomas was killed a week ago and we are hunting his killer. We lost the scent in East Harlem and pick it up down here.
And much to my surprise, I find you running your little shop."
Clark groaned and knew who lead them here.
"So what do you guys want? Hurt me? You're doing a swell job."
Jimmie grabbed him by the hair. "Two things first your gonna tell us who killed Thomas and second your gonna where it is."
"Where's what?" Clark knew what he was talking about.
Jimmie then violently kick Clark hard enough to give him a coughing fit.
"Don't fucking play with me!" Jimmie growled. "Where is your secret forge! The one even the gods don't know about!"
Clark managed to breathe again and said, "I don't have a secret forge, you dumb little bastard!"
The other Gaskets were getting impatient. Jimmie was the oldest and their ma said that the oldest was in charge.
Mickie the youngest was the most impatient. "Enough of this Jimmie the old bitch is not talking, I say that we tell him about his wife."
Clark heard him loud and clear. "What did you do to my wife?"
The Gaskets didn't answer.
"Where my wife? Where Molly?"
Jimmie glared at his younger brother.
"All we did was pick her up from work,"
The older cyclops didn't take that well. Despite being badly beaten and bound Clark stood up.
"I swear if you little cocksuckers harm her I will drag you all and your whore mother to blackest pit in Tartarus!" Clark roared.
Jimmie smacked Mickie upside the head. "Look what you did, he's all worked up now! Walt!"
Walt hit Clark with a bronze rod knocking him down.
"Clark, I hate a lot of things about, but the one I respect is how you treat your woman, as an equal, your great husband. If only more men treat their wives with the same respect the world would be such a better place."
Clark just stared angrily.
Jimmie continued, "She's safe right now, but we did put her in a bronze jar with cooking oil."
Clark felt horror overtake him.
"And unless you want Molly became a deep-fried nymph, you will start talking."
Clark rested his forehead on the cold floor. "Alright you win, just please dont hurt her, please."
Jimmie chuckled, "You're a good husband Clarky, now who kill Thomas?"
Clark turns his head to look at him. "His name is Carson."
Walt took out a notepad and pen to write. "Continue."
"He came here for supplies," Clark said defeated.
"What does he look like?"
"Tall, muscular, with a black beard and amber eyes."
As Clark said this he notices a pair of amber eyes in the shadow of the warehouse.
He's here.
Carson put a finger to his lips and vanish into the shadows.
"It won't matter." Clark manages to laugh. "He gonna kill you all."
"Look, Clark, you laugh all you want but this " Carson" is one who going to die."
Clark laughs again, "Thomas was the oldest right Jimmie and the strongest right?"
Jimmie sneered, "Shut up."
"Carson killed Thomas with his bare hands, earlier I gave a big sword and a big knife," Clark laughed, "He gonna hack you all to bits."
The three Gasket brother look concerned. Jimmie was angry.
"Impossible, no mortals that strong. Now where your secret forge?"
Clark changes his vision to infrared. What? He couldn't find Carson. What is this guy?
Clark knew to stall these guys a little longer. "How do I even if my wife is still alive? You guys could've killed her already!"
Jimmie groaned and pinched the bridge of his nose. "Kill the only leverage I have over you? Yeah, that smart isn't it?"
"I want that forge and I know that her death would be a deal-breaker. " Jimmie said angry, "I'm offended that you would question my honestly, how dare you question my honesty!"
Jimmie began kicking Clark. "I am not a liar!" Clark began spitting up blood.
Walt and Mickie had to pull him off.
"Walt holds him up, Mickie takes off his shoes, Robbie find a switch or something!"
Walt and Mickie did as they were told, but Robbie didn't move.
"Robbie go find a switch!" Jimmie order. But Robbie stood still with a glassy look in his eyes.
"Robbie? What are you doing? Move!" His brother barked.
Robbie then suddenly flew to the floor limp.
"Robbie!" Mickie rushed over to his fallen brother. "Robbie! Robbie!"
Mickie fell back in horror, "They're a fucking chisel in his head!"
Clark burst out laughing.
"What did you do?" Walt grabbed him by the throat.
"I didn't do anything! Carson, the guy you're looking for? He's here and he gonna kill you all!"
Walt threw Clark down and look at Jimmie for guidance.
"Well? What are you idiots waiting for? Find him!" Jimmie order.
Mickie was panicking, "But he killed Robbie!"
Jimmie was looking around, despite trying to remain calm, he was sweating profusely.
"He got lucky, big deal! Find him!"
Walt and Mickie still weren't moving.
The veins in Jimmie's forehead were pulsing.
"He's a mortal! We are cyclopses! We are the superior species! Now find him!"
Mickie looks at Walt who just shrugged his shoulders. "H-he's right, it's just a mortal." He held his bronze rod and Mickie pulls out his knife. The two went the aisle of shelves and disappeared.
Clark was still chuckling. Jimmie stomped on his ribs and grab him by the hair. "You and your wife are dead."
Walt did best to navigate through the warehouse, looking in the corner of his eye, he swallowed the lump in his throat. He heard some rattling to his left and stop.
He manages to move out the way of falling chains. "Must have come looses." He turns around found him looking at a very large mortal with a large knife.
Walt didn't make a sound when Carson sliced cleanly across his abdomen. The cyclops intestines fell to the floor. Carson then slices him across the neck, jugular to jugular.
Carson went back into shadow as Mickie came running around one of the shelves. "Walt! Walt! What happen!"
Mickie found his brother's bloody, fading body. Mickie dropped his knife and ran.
"Jimmie! Jimmie!" He screamed.
"What?" The oldest Gasket saw his youngest brother ran back to him. "Where's Walt?"
"He dead! His guts are everywhere!"
"What!?"
"We need to get out of here!" The youngest brother screamed.
Jimmie wipes the sweat off his forehead. It wasn't supposed to be like all that was meant was to get the information they wanted and kill the old cyclops and his wife and find the hidden forge.
"Mickie, calm down, everything going to be alright!"
Mickie looks at his brother. "Everything going to be alright?"
"Yes."
"Ok then." Mickie then felt a sharp pain in his chest. Jimmie has a look of horror on his face. Mickie didn't want to look down but he did. A kopis blade had stab cleanly through his body.
"Oh no."
The blade instead of being pull out was pulled upwards slicing through his left shoulder.
Carson kicks the cyclops nearly in two body down. He calmly walks over the body with a sword in one hand and a knife in the other.
Jimmie was looking straight into Carson's eyes. Cold, emotionless, amber eyes. Like cold bronze.
The remaining Gasket brother was well over three hundred years old and not once had seen such eyes.
So lifeless.
Jimmie put his foot on Clark's neck.
"I'll kill him I swear I will!"
Carson just casually threw his knife straight into Jimmie's thigh.
"AAAHH!" He screamed and fell backward. Carson undid the chains and help Clark sit up.
"How are you?" Clark spits out blood and a few teeth. "Trust me, I been through worst."
Jimmie held his leg in pain. Carson drops his foot straight on top of the knife sending it deeper into the cyclops flesh.
"AAAHHH!"
Carson raised his sword high and was ready to bring it down on Jimmie's head.
"Carson dont! My wife! His clan has her!" Clark yelled before coughing up more blue blood.
Carson's eyes went from Jimmie to Clark to Jimmie again. He was ready to kill right here right now. He sheathed his and yank the knife out of Jimmie's thigh.
Carson wipe the blood off and sheathed it as well. "Tell me where his wife is."
Jimmie growled, "And get more of my family kill! Kiss my ass!"
Carson looked at Clark for answers.
"He a member of the Gasket Clan, there nothing more than a bunch of inbreds. Worst than British royal family."
"Shut up you traitor!" Jimmie yelled, "Both of you can go straight to Tartarus!"
Carson then looks at the work table and went over to it. He rummages through a toolbox and picks out a pair of celestial bronze pliers.
He went back to Jimmie and grabbed his left hand.
"What are you going to do? Put a ring on me?" Jimmie snark.
Carson calmly grabbed the thumbnail with the pliers.
"Wait! No!"
And pull it clean off. Jimmie screamed at the top of his lungs. Clark was even alarmed.
Carson then pulls off the pointer fingernail, then the middle fingernail, then the ring finger, and last the pinky finger.
Jimmie had tears running down from his one eye. His left hand was bloody and beginning to swell. He couldn't even feel his fingertips.
Then Carson grabbed Jimmie's right hand.
"No!Please!"
And pull off the fingers nails on that hand.
Clark was just watching in shock. Even though that was his enemy, he couldn't stand to see him being tortured.
Carson stood over the beaten cyclops. He pulls out Jimmie's shoes and socks. He grabbed the right big toenail with the pliers.
"Now, you're going to tell me everything I want to know, if you dont I'm going to pull off all of your toenails, then pull out your teeth, cut out your tongue, and slice your tendons. I will leave your body out for the rats to devour."
A pool of urine forms around Jimmie Gasket's lap.
"Ok! ok! I'll tell you whatever you want! Please just dont hurt me!" The young cyclops begged.
Carson let go of the toenail and set the pliers aside.
"Where is his wife!" Carson demanded. Jimmie answer immediately. "At the Sunny Vale Apartment complex, four miles east of the central park."
Clark set himself up and held his ribs, "I know where that is."
Carson didn't let go of the cyclops toenail. "How many of your kind are there."
Jimmie was breathing rapidly. "Look my family there, let cut a deal may be, AAAAHHHH!" Carson pulled off the toenail without any hesitation.
"How many?" Carson grabbed the next toenail with the pliers.
"Eighty! There eighty of us!"
Carson set the pliers aside and stood up leaving the Gasket cyclops sobbing in pain.
"Please don't hurt me anymore," Jimmie begged.
"I won't," Carson said.
"Really?"
"Yes." Carson drew him and swung the blade down vertically into Jimmie's head. He put his foot on the shoulder and kick back the body freeing his sword.
Carson sheathed his sword and walk over to Clark. "You said you wouldn't hurt anymore," the elder cyclops said.
Carson replied, "Yes, but not that I wouldn't kill him."
Clark didn't respond. Carson examines the damage Clark took; four of his ribs are broken, five more are fracture, his left femur has a crack in it, and he has internal bleeding across his chest and sides.
After centuries of battle and killing, The Ghost learned to detect the tiniest injuries and damage on anything.
He once warned one of his superior officers of some growing cancer cells.
He saved that officer's life who lived on for fifty more years.
"Do you have anything to heal yourself?" Carson asked. Clark coughed, "Yeah got some nectar over my counter upfront."
Carson help the cyclops stand and guided him to the front. Clark sat down and was having trouble breathing.
"It's, it's in a flask my wife gave me on our one hundred anniversary."
Carson found it. An extra-large silver flask that was engraved: To my beloved craftsman - yours forever Molly.
Carson handed the flask to the injured cyclops. Clark undid the top and guzzle the nectar down.
"Ah, that so much better!" Clark wipes his lips. The bruise across his body slowly faded away. His broken and crack bones mended themselves and his internal bleeding stop.
Clark still felt sore. Nectar and Ambrose's healing effects are slower on his kind. The old cyclops stood up and pulled out a bronze ax from under the counter. It was double blade and six feet long.
Carson raised one of his thick black eyebrows. "What are you doing?"
Clark swung him over his titanic shoulders. "Gonna go save my woman of course." He walks halfway through his store before the pain overtook him. Clark fell to his knee, he tries standing up but his injuries began striking his nerves.
"No, no! I have to save Molly!" He leaned against his ax for support.
Clark saw Carson stand in front of him.
"Please move," Carson stood his ground with his arms crossed.
"Move!" Clark roar. His gemstone pupil went from marine blue to crimson red.
Carson chopped Clark on the side of his neck and watch him fall to the floor.
"Pathetic you can't even take a hit. How can you save her in your state of being?"
The old cyclops began crawling to the door. "I have to try, what kind of male am I if I don't even try to save her!"
Carson groaned and put his right hand to his forehead. He kneels and jabbed his thumb into Clark.
Clark felt an electric shock go through him. The pain was gone. Carson jabbed several more spots on Clark's back. "What did you to me?"
Carson grabbed Clark by the shoulder to help him stand. "Pressure point, just to stop the pain."
Clark felt a numbness across his body but he could stand. "Please help me."
Carson stared, "What do I get in return?"
"Name it," Clark said with hesitation. "Anything you want I will make it."
Carson stared. "Your secret forge was the cyclops right?"
Clark's eye flicker. "Yep, I have a secret forge that even the gods are unaware of."
Carson gave a stern stare, "We will discuss this later."
Clark nodded and switch the open sigh to close.
The rescue mission began.
Three years ago The Sunnyvale Apartments Complex construction began. It was going to affordable housing for the lower-income area and help boost the local economy.
Unfortunately, the project was never completed. After eight months of hard several construction workers began to disappear without a trace along with security guards and residents in the area.
A total of thirty-two people disappear.
The media got hold of this and declare this the works of a serial killer.
Investors immediately stopped and the whole project was scrapped.
There were to be four apartments build. One was about eighty percent completes, one was fifty percent completed and the remaining two are just skeletons with only a few floors and walls.
But a family did call this home and they are responsible for the disappearances.
The Gasket Clan made this their home and searched around the area looking for mortals, demigods, and weaker monsters to hunt.
They waited for the return of four of their members who founded an enemy cyclops. They captured his wife and trapped her in a bronze jar.
The sunset began and they continued to wait.
Carson and Clark watch from a nearby rooftop. Clark's mechanical eye zoomed in and out. Carson watched from a single binocular.
Clark's eye also searches through a magical vision that allows him to find individuals and items that had magical auras.
He also has infrared and can see the electromagnetic spectrum.
Carson mentally planned their mission. Several cyclopses guard made their rounds. With their enhanced senses sneaking in and out would be difficult.
"Dammit, Jimmie wasn't kidding, there has to eighty or more of them down there." Clark zooms out and looks at Carson.
The Ghost knew that this stealth was out the question for Clark. The Nectar began taking effect and he was moving better.
But the chances of the two of them sneaking in and out we're slim to none.
Carson decided. "We wait a little longer.
Clark wanted to save Molly just as possible, but he had no idea how. He knew to save molly that he had obeyed Carson's orders without question.
Clark was impatient but stilled him.
Soon night came.
"How did you lose your eye?" Carson asked. Clark smiled sadly. Ancient memories awoke.
"Let me tell you a tale friend," Clark began. Carson did not object.
"First my family bloodline is unique, I am a descendant of the Elder Cyclops Brontes, so my family is considered royalty amounts my kind."
"I was born nine thousand ago and was a prodigy among not just the cyclops species, but a prodigy among my own family."
"I could craft and smith better and faster than my father, uncles, and grandfathers, I was not even a hundred year old."
Clark stopped.
"Continue," Carson said.
Clark sighed. "And one day I find myself in a challenge with Hephaestus to see who was the better craftsman. If I won I get his Hammer, if he won he gets my eye."
"He won. He pulled my eye out with his tongs and everything went black."
Carson was still staring at the apartments, "I was disowned, disgrace, and chase off by my kind."
"For losing a contest?"
"No, I knew losing would mean spending the rest of my existence in darkness, so before the contest, I build a replacement eye. You see when a Hephaestus learn I made a replacement he accused me of not honoring our contest and my family agreed with him."
Carson looked and several abandon trucks, building supplies, and port john. What caught his attention the most was the abandoned crane.
"And then Hephaestus also took something of mine as well, he also took my testicles."
Carson gave a simple "What?"
"Yeah took them off with his clamp. Don't worry I replaced them with nice golden pair. My wife loves them."
Carson didn't need to hear that.
To avoid an image of a cyclops with golden testicles entering his mind he quickly thought up a plan.
"You will do as I say correct?"
"Yes."
"Good."
Clark walked to Sunnyvale Apartment with his hands held up high. Four members of the Gasket family came through the door with their weapons.
"Where Jimmie and the rest?" Said the cyclops upfront. Clark kept his hands up. "Going to my secret forge."
"All four of them?" The front cyclops question.
"Yeah, I told them that it would be best if they all went, I got serious security on that place," Clark said.
"And they sent you here?"
"Yeah, after they beat the shit outta me, Jimmie told me where to find you guys and here I am."
The four cyclops look at each other for a moment. Then the leader of the group gave his orders, "Tammy, Boyd check him for weapons."
A male and female Gasket started patting down Clark, they check his pockets, his boots, and even his ears.
"He clear."
"Alright let bring him to Ma."
Tammy shoved Clark forward. The older was in the center of the group as entering the apartment and exiting out the back.
There was a massive courtyard in between the four apartments. The ground was litter with trash, metals, and bones.
A trash fire was lit to light the area up. Several members of the Gasket look at the group as they pass.
Some of the cyclops could pass as mortal while others were to deform to pass as cyclops. Year's of inbreeding have taken their toll.
Look like a bunch of b rated horror movie monsters.
Tammy shoved Clark again to walk faster. They soon made it to a massive tent that was in front of the apartments.
"Well, well, well what do we have here?" A hideous voice purred.
Clark gulped. "Hello, Mrs.Gasket you're looking well."
That was far from the truth. Ma Gasket looked like Jabba the Hutt older, fatter sister. She has sixteen chins and her tits sagged to the ground. She was laying on a truck flatbed.
Ma Gasket wide mouth opened, "I'm doing well, how about yourself?" She reached down to a kiddie pool that had several round items in it, grab a handful full, and tossed it into her whale mouth.
Clark adjusted his vision and zoom in on the kiddie pool. Skulls. She was eating skulls.
Clark's stomach twisted. Then he spoke, "I'm ok, your boys came to my shop today and told me that you guys pick up my wife."
Ma Gasket smiled, showing her green brick teeth. "Oh yes, found her on her way back home and we invited her over tea."
"Oh well thank you for your kindness, but it time that I take her home." Clark did his best to remain calm.
The cyclops matriarch snaps her fingers, "Tobias, Gary, go get our guests."
Two deformed cyclops came carrying a large bronze jar with a lid sealed on it. Thankfully there is an air hole in the lid.
The jar was placed in front of Clark. He could hear whimpering inside. "Molly! Molly! Are you ok?"
A scared, delicate voice answered, "Clark? Is that you?"
Clark as a cyclops knows that his kind can perfectly mimic any voice they hear. Clark switched his vision to x-ray mode. Thank the elders it was her.
"Yes, my little spring flower I'm here."
Spring flower was his pet name for her. Molly's pet name for him was her hunky mechanic.
"Clark, please get us out of here!" Molly sounds like she has been crying.
Making his wife cry, if he could Clark would nuke this place.
Ma Gasket smiled, "Isn't that sweet, remind me of my hubby,"
Oh no.
"My hubby, who you murder."
Clark swallowed the lump in his throat. He picks up the jar and sets it on his shoulder. "Well, we best get going, you all look very busy." Clark turned and notice that more members of the Gasket Clan had come into the courtyard.
"Excuse me everyone, but I need to get through."
They didn't budge. Clark asked again," Can guys just scooch over a little bit.
They still weren't moving.
"Oh Clark, did you think that this would be that easy?" The Mother of Gasket asked.
"Yes, yes I did." Clark nodded. He felt his wife shift around.
"Three hundred years ago you murder my beloved Garp and left my children fatherless!" Ma Gasket glare at him.
"He was your brother and their uncle."
"So what! Love doesn't judge!"
"Yeah, but people do."
Ma growled. "You're going to pay for your crimes you race traitor!"
Clark went 'ahem' in his free hand, "Mrs. Gasket I think it would be best if you just let my wife and I leave,"
"Or what?" Ma demanded.
Clark began looking to the right. "Or things are about to get crazy."
The Gaskets looked and understood what he meant. A giant hooks from a crane across the courtyard and slammed into one of the apartments.
The hook swung back and Clark leaped up and grabbed it.
"Clark! What going on!?" Molly cried.
Clark held on to the jar and the hook for dear life. "Just hang on my sweet!"
He swung back and forth, back and forth. Faster and faster!
"Get him!" The mother cyclops order, her children and jumped up. One manages to grab Clark's leg, but he was kicked out and landed in a pile of concrete.
"The crane! Stop the crane!" Ma screamed. The Gasket children obey and rushed the construction vehicle.
The hook swung its highest backward then went forwards. Clark let go and he and the jar containing his wife went flying across the street and land on a roof on one of the buildings on the next block.
"I think I'm going to be sick." Molly cried.
"Me too, me too" Clark looked back at the crane. He let go just in time, the Gasket knocked it over and began tearing it apart.
Clark remembers what he had to next. He grabs the jar and ran off. Carson told him not to come back for him and he would meet them back at the shop.
The crane was turned to pieces to find the man within. One cyclops named Vick ripped the door off and reached in. "Come out you bastard!" A kopis went into his face and out the back of his head. Pulling the sword back, Carson leap and landed.
Carson's eyes glowed. Bloodlust was in the air. A group of eight rushed at him from behind crying for blood. He became a flash and sliced through them cleanly. Some were killed, others laid on the ground screaming at the loss of their limbs.
Carson flicked his sword to get the blood off. Tammy swung a club at him and he dodged with no effort and drove his kopis through her arms cutting them off.
She couldn't scream and watched her orange blood gushed out. Carson kicked her in the face, knocking her down.
Another cyclops Oscar threw his chain around Carson and pulled with his might. The amber eye man didn't budge a millimeter. Oscars' muscles expanded to maximum attempt to move Carson.
Carson grabbed the chain and began to pull Oscar toward him. "No!no!no!" The cyclops panicked. When he was close enough Carson slammed the pommel of his sword repeatedly on the top of cyclops skull until his brain popped out.
Ma Gasket was crying, "My Babies! My babies!" She screamed. Carson sliced another in two horizontally and at the chest. He dodges a spear and roundhouse kicks the attacker right jaw breaking it.
The Gasket Mother could watch as this murderer slaughter her children. She then screamed, "Ralphie! Get out here! Now!"
The other cyclops panicked at the name Ralphie. Several of them immediately ran to safety.
The ground rumble slightly and a being destroyed several walls of the most complete Apartments and land in the courtyard.
"Play," he said.
Carson sliced the head off another Gasket and turned to see his new opponent.
It was mutant, twenty feet tall and twenty-five tons of brute force. His right shoulder was higher than his left. His legs were too short and his arms too long. Ralphie one eye seemed too large for his skull and his mouth hung open and drooled.
The only thing he wore was a makeshift cloth diaper. In Ralphie's right hand was a twelve-foot-long celestial bronze log that was wrapped with elevator cables.
"Play," Ralphie repeated.
"Ralphie!" His mother shouted and pointed her finger at Carson. "See that man! He wants to play!"
Ralphie stared dumbly at Carson and drooled. "Play,"
With surprising speed, the mutant charged towards Carson and swung his log down.
BAM!
Carson managed to roll out of the way. He looked and saw the massive crater that was created.
The dumb beast charged again and swung his log blindly.
"Play! play! play!"
Ralphie slammed the log down and Carson went for the right and struck.
"What!?"
The sword barely cut! His hide too thick!
Ralphie swatted at Carson like he was fly. "Badman!"
Carson leaped up and kicked Ralphie in the jaw pushing him back. The brute grabbed his jaw. "Ouchie!"
Carson rushes forward, climbs up the mutant arm. Stand on the shoulder Carson rained down strike after strike to the back of Ralphie's head and neck.
The cyclops brute began screaming and charged wildly trying to shake off his attacker. Carson grabbed an ear and hang on still striking.
Carson pulled his out knife and stabbed it behind the ear.
Snap!
Only for the blade to break. Ralphie finally manages to grab hold of Carson, but Carson still kept his grip on the ear.
Ralphie threw the man across the courtyard and he bounces across and slammed through a wall. Ralphie held his ear in pain and took his hand that covers in blood. His heart began to race at the sight of his blood.
Carson stood up, he looks at the chuck of his ear that was in his hand. He tossed it aside.
He let out an annoyed groan. His knife was broken, and he dropped him when made his charge. Not only that he could tell that the beast was becoming aggravated. He seems this so many times, a big dumb animal that becomes aggressive like this is more reckless, more dangerous.
He had to end this, no way he was going to lose to this inbred freak.
Carson saw his sword and quickly made his move. The moment he picks his kopis he felt an immense amount of bloodlust behind him. He spun around and held his weapon in defense.
The bronze log clashes against the sword. Carson's legs sunk into the ground below him, he was still standing and pushed back. Ralphie went berserk and repeatedly swung his log and continued his barrage.
Carson parried each hit. The moment the metal weapons met spark was created and a shockwave went through the air.
Then Carson saw it. The moment his kopis struck the metal log, he saw a crack spread across his blade, and then it broke in two.
The force knocked Carson off balance. He tries to regain his stance but was the brute cyclops brought own his log down on Carson and buried him ten feet.
Ralphie dove his hand under the ground and grabbed Carson by his left leg and pulled him out.
"Badman!"
Ralphie swung Carson into the ground and repeated until he felt his body go limp.
Carson's was cover with dirt and his blood. His eyes were closed.
Ma Gasket smiled, "Ralphie, you did a wonderful job playing. Now be a good boy and clean up."
"Clean up," Ralphie said nodding. He opens his mouth wider and brought Carson in to take a bite.
Right before Ralphie closed his jaws Carson grabbed the cyclops eye with both and pulled.
"AAAHHH!" Ralphie screamed in pain. Carson's finger pierce the white of the eye and pulled more.
Ralphie was a dumb animal, he didn't think it through and try to pull Carson, only to aim him in pulling out his eye.
A loud POP! Went through the area. The Ralphie began screaming in bloody murder.
"MOMMY!MOMMY!" He cried. Carson held the cyclops in his left hand.
"Ralphie! Getaway!" His mother screamed.
Carson grabbed the bronze log and swung it straight into the blind beast knee caps. Ralphie's body collapsed under his weight and fell on his back.
Carson leaped of thirty feet in the air and brought down the blunt end of the metal log on Ralphie's head, finishing him off.
The force of the attack causes the buildings around to shake.
Ralphie twitched a little, then stopped. His mother began sobbing uncontrollably, "My babies! My babies!"
Carson swung the log over his shoulder and walked toward Gasket's mother.
"Wait! Please no! We'll leave! And we'll never bother Clark or his wife! I swear on the River Styx!" She pleased and thunder boomed.
Carson stopped. He then turns around.
"If I ever see any of your family again, I will kill you all."
Carson left with Ma Gasket crying over her slain children.
Carson leaps rooftop to rooftop with the celestial bronze log over his shoulder. Finally, he made it back to Clark's Repair Shop.
As made his way across the street, a voice shouted to him, "Stop right there!"
Carson looks up and on the roof of the shop was top the roof. "You're not going to hurt me or my sweet hubby anymore!"
Her left glowed green and shot a green bolt at him. Carson stepped back and the bolt missed him.
Carson just groan. "Woman, I'm not going hurt either you."
The woman let out a mock laugh. "Yeah like I way believe any of your lies!" She could to threw green bolt after bolt. Carson just dodges with ease.
When the bolts hit the ground, plants began to grow. The plants try to restrain Carson but he just ripped out of them.
Clark finally burst out of his shop waving his arms. "Stop! Stop Molly! He one the who saved you!" Clark stood in front of Carson.
Molly stopped her attacks, "Wait? What?"
"Yes my spring flower, he the one who saved us!"
Molly realized that she was attacking the man who saved her and her husband. "Oh my goodness!"
She leaps off the roof and slowly floated down. Molly ran up to Carson,
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry!"
Finally, he looks at Molly. Like all nymphs, she was unnaturally beautiful. She a perfectly round face with big brown eyes, and long Auburn hair that reached her thin waist. She a crown of leaves in her hair. Her skin had a tint of green to it. Despite the cold weather she only with an apple green sundress.
Clark put his massive hand on his wife's small delicate shoulder. "Carson this my beloved wife, Molly. Molly, this is the man who prevented us from being murder."
Clark was three times the size of Molly.
The nymph held out her hand and Carson shook it.
"Saving my husband and rescuing me, how can I ever repay you?" Molly asked.
Carson already knew what he wanted. "I was told that you teach on controlling the Mist, I would also like to learn."
Molly smiled millions of dollars worth, "Of course! I will be more than happy to teach you!"
Clark looked at the celestial bronze log, "That Ralphie Gasket log, how the hell did you get that?"
Carson answers, "I killed him."
Clark looked at him in disbelief, "You killed Ralphie Gasket!?"
"Yes. Speaking of which, I need a new sword," Carson handed the bronze log to Clark.
Clark scoffed, "My weapons don't break,"
"The knife and sword," Carson said.
Molly scoffed as well, "My husband weapons don't break,"
Carson reached behind him and pulled out the broken sword.
Clark and Molly's jaws dropped. The old cyclops threw the log aside, which created a massive pothole in the street and grab the broken blade.
"No, that impossible!" Clark couldn't believe it. Celestial Bronze is one of the powerful items in the magical. You had insanely strong just to even bend it.
But the old cyclops felt shame that one of his creations broke. His eye scanned the damage. Yep, pure raw power is what destroyed it.
"Carson, I am so sorry that-"
"Don't worry about it. My strength was simply too much for the blade." Carson said.
Molly put her hand husband's shoulder, "Don't worry my hunky mechanic, you'll create a sword that billions of times better!"
Clark looked at his wife, "You think so?"
Molly smiled, "Of course my love your skill is unmatched."
"Molly."
"Clark."
They stare into each other loving glaze. All they need now they now were a couple of pink floating hearts around them.
Carson had enough of this, he coughed. The lovebird snaps out of each trance and turns back to their rescuer.
"You two need to rest, I'll be back tomorrow for a new sword and to schedule my lesson. Also, Clark remembers our deal." Carson said.
"Deal?" Molly asked tilting her a little.
"He agreed to help us if I give him access to my personal forge," Clark said.
Molly gasped, "But sweetie that forges is secret, not even gods know, why would you tell him?"
Clark looked at her with a loving smile, "For you my love,"
Molly's eyes became starry, "You gave up your secret for me?"
"Of course Molly you are more precious to than any forge," Clark said.
"Oh Clark."
"Molly."
They held each other and never wanted to let go. Carson began to reconsider his options. But the chance of him finding another craftsman and Mist teacher was about slim to none.
He was going to tolerate the lovebirds. He was so envious.
Love true, one of the many we all search for.
He then left without saying a word.
End.
