Recap from last chapter: As the friends got ready for their big day, Riley runs into an old friend...Charlie Gardner in the flesh. He decides to join them for breakfast and shock everyone. All of a sudden there's a loud noise and everyone panics. What happens next? keep reading to find out.

BOOM!

Riley: Lucas, you don't have to cover my head like that.

Lucas: Everyone get on the ground.

Chef: Please calm down everyone, there was a little food explosion in the kitchen nothing to worry about.

Riley: See, gun shots sound way different.

Lucas: How would you know?

Riley: My mom is a lawyer and sometimes I go to her cases to watch her in action. There have been occasions where police officers have had to use their guns to put someone violent down.

Lucas: Okay, that makes sense.

Maya: Can we please eat now that Riley is here?

Lucas: Oh yeah, Maya ordered for you.

Riley: Pancakes, yay!

Charlie: I guess I'll have to call the waiter back over here to order.

Zay: Yeah, you might have to wait.

Charlie: Why?

Josh: Our waiter was the one who caused the explosion and while Lucas was freaking out we were watching him get yelled at.

Charlie: Okay, I guess I will wait then.

Riley: Guys no time to waste, finish your food so we can get to our first 2 periods.

Maya: Then we will come back here to put in action our plan for Sam and Angie.

Charlie: What?

Maya: Don't worry about it, you won't be apart of it.

Charlie: I'd like to if you don't mind.

Lucas: We do mind, very much mind.

Riley: Lucas, we can use all the help we can get.

Lucas: You are just so you Riley.

Maya: This is going to be one interesting first day.

(They finish up their food and the first 2 periods of the days go by faster than expected)

Maya: Who are we waiting on?

Riley: Zay and Charlie.

Lucas: I talked to the chef, he's got everything down.

Farkle: I talked to the announcer and he's willing to help Sam out since they are close.

Smackle: I brought his guitar, but I couldn't find those picky things.

Maya: Lucas has one, don't worry. And Josh?

Josh: Flower bouquet and sign are both ready.

Maya: Riley?

Riley: Zay and Charlie have showed up with the edible arrangements.

Maya: Okay, everyone get into place Sam and Angie will be here.

Riley: Wait, no one told Sam how this was going to happen.

Maya: I sent him a voice audio he listened to it on his drive to her.

Josh: You have his number? When did that happen?

Maya: The night we stayed up together nothing big.

Riley: They're here...PLACES!

Angie: It smells like home in here, I wonder what specials they are making today.

Sam: Your favorite, Mexican Street Tacos.

Angie: Since when do they ever do that?

(As they walk farther into the cafe random people start bringing her flowers until it measures up to a flower bouquet.)

Angie: What is going on?

(Her favorite song starts to play and Sam grabs his guitar to play along.)

Angie: What is happening? It's not my birthday today.

(Sam sings to the song and the chef brings out two Mexican Street Tacos. A sign drops as they exit saying "I don't care where I'm going, as long as you're with me.")

Sam: Angie Bailard...will you be my girlfriend?

(Angie sits there in shock and starts to tear up)

Angie: Of course I will.

(She jumps into his arms and kisses him. Everyone cheers for them and they sit down to eat. When everything is done they all finish out their first days of the new year.)

Maya: Remind me why being smart is such a good thing.

Riley: Being smart gets you a job and that job makes you money.

Maya: Money!

Lucas: Well she seems to be very excited.

Josh: Maya, would you go to an art museum with me tonight?

Maya: Money! I mean of course I will.

Josh: Okay, dress nice and I'll pick you up at 7.

Maya: I need a nap, Riley to the bed now!

Riley: Okay, Lucas I will see you later. Josh, good day.

Josh: Good day? What?

Lucas: Just go with it.

(They walk off and take a nap)

Hours later

Riley: Maya! Wake up!

Maya; What? What's going on?

Josh: You must have been very tired today huh?

Maya: Josh? What? Wait...we had a date!

Josh: You didn't stand me up this time, you just laid it down.

(No one laughs)

Josh: Oh, not funny...

Maya: I'm getting up, give me 30 minutes.

Riley: Peaches, it's 10:00.

Maya: I slept like the whole day! How is that possible?

Josh: We were wondering the same thing.

Riley: Well, Sam thanked us for helping him out. Angie seems happy and he looks way happier to know it actually worked and she liked him back.

Maya: So Josh, what can we do about a rain check?

Josh: We can sit here and watch a movie if you don't mind.

Maya: Oh of course, I don't mind at all.

Riley: Well, I'm going to bed so please keep your voices down.

An hour later

(Knock at the door. Maya gets up and opens it.)

Police Officer: Are you Maya Hart?

(Riley and Josh wake up to see Maya at the door with a police officer shining his flashlight in her face.)

Maya: I am.

Police Officer: Maya Hart, you are under arrest for vandalizing school property.

Maya: WHAT!?

Police Officer: You have the right to remain silent. If you do say anything, what you say can be used against you in a court of law.

Josh: What the hell man she didn't do anything!

Police Officer: You have the right to consult with a lawyer and have that lawyer present during any questioning.

Riley: He's not listening.

Police Officer: If you cannot afford a lawyer, one will be appointed for you is you so desire.

(He takes her out of the room leaving Riley and Josh confused)
