After Ikuno and Futoshi are injured, the rest of the gang has to work to survive through the danger of the Klaxosaurs as they come closer to destroying Plantation 13. Will everyone get out in time? Or will the Klaxosaurs take over the Earth?

8. The Truth

Mitsuru POV

I can't act like ok much longer, but Ikuno getting all beat up like that, I couldn't really focus after that, I just feel weird since I'm 19-years-old (this fanfic takes place a few years after Zero Two and Hiro died, but I'm keeping them alive) and traumatized by something that I've experienced for almost my entire life! I sat down on the couch in the waiting room, which wasn't too far away from Ikuno's hospital room on the first floor. I don't really know why, but I don't want any help with this, because I'm embarassed, but I know I really need to talk to somebody, NOW.

Zero Two POV

I was simply walking down the hall, when I saw Mitsuru, sitting on the couch, looking all scared and...lonely. "Mitsuru? You ok?" I asked. He looked up at me. "I'm fine, Zero Two." Then he quickly looked back down. "Mitsuru, saying quote-unquote "I'm Fine" won't work on me." Mitsuru sighed. "I know you're not ok, you haven't been the same since Ikuno and Futoshi got in that accident." He looked up at me. "Good grief." He muttered. "Mitsuru, I'm not joking! You need to tell me what's wrong!"

Mitsuru stood up. "ZERO TWO! SHUT UP AND GO!" He yelled. He said this without looking at me. "Fine." I got up and left the room.

So that's this chapter, basically Mitsuru's all scared due to being traumatized by Ikuno and Futoshi's accident during the fight at the beginning of the book. Now ya'll probably understand why it's called, "Don't Go." Ikuno and Futoshi almost die in an epic battle with some klaxosaurs, and Mitsuru has been scared this entire time that Ikuno might die because of it. No, it's not Mitsuru X Ikuno, but since she was his former partner and one of the people he was the closest to, he needs her in his life, and since he's 19, he's embarassed that's he's scared this time, even though that was his best friend, not someone else he didn't even know.

Anyways, that was it for this chapter, and in Chapter 9, Kokoro with have her and Mitsuru's precious little boi! *i just spell stuff that way sometimes just cuz*
