Derek stands up, "I'm going to hug you now." Derek leans into Emily who starts balling harder. As he lets go, Derek asks on a more serious note, "Where were you?"

Emily takes a deep breath, "I mainly spent my 7 months in Paris as Marisol Monet, but I went to Italy under the identity Bernadette Bonetti, for a few weeks when tensions got high. I also had passports for Sabine Schneider, Germany, and Laura Lopez, Spain."

"That's a lot of identities," Derek's jaw drops.

"I'm surprised I didn't have an identity crisis," Emily shrugs her shoulders. Derek and Emily both laugh.

While those two are having the times of their lives, the team is looking everywhere for Declan. Penelope clicks down the hallway with her hot pink heels. She stops to look into the babies room, just to find Declan sitting there in between both incubators.

Penelope texts Aaron, 'I found him. Don't come up, I can talk with him.' Penelope then softly knocks on the door and cracks it open, "Can I come in?" Declan nods as Penelope enters, "You had us worried."

"Was that code for me?" Declan asks innocently? Penelope nods, Declan apologizes, "I'm sorry. I didn't mean-"

Penelope pulls up a chair, "We were just worried."

Declan stands up and looks at the babies, "These are my siblings?"

"Yup!" Penelope stands up beside him. She points at the babies, "That is Louis, and that is Lauren."

Declan looks up at Penelope, "They are so small."

"They were born early, so they didn't have enough time to grow, but they are going to be okay."

"Lauren looks like me. She has bright blue eyes, just like mine," Declan points to his eyes.

Penelope smiles, "I love your eyes. Blue is my second favorite color, next to pink."

"Mine is red," Declan sits back down in the rocking chair. Penelope sits down in her chair as well. "My dad chose his bad life over me," Declan adds.

"That's not true…" Penelope moves her chair closer to his.

Declan looks at his untied shoelaces, "He never taught me to tie my shoes. He always said he would, but he never had time."

Penelope promptly kneels down, takes off one of his shoes, gives it to him, then takes the other shoe for herself, "Ready?"

Declan looks visibly confused, "What?"

"I'm going to teach you to tie your shoes," Penelope begins with one lace in each hand, " Take the end of the lace 1 and put it over lace 2. Now poke lace 1 underneath lace 2."

Declan follows her lead, "Got it!"

"Now, pull on both laces to tighten it," Penelope and Declan both tighten the first knot. "This is the hard part, you have to make a loop with both laces, like this," Penelope demonstrates. Declan struggles with his loops, Penelope tries to make it easier, "Think of it like bunny ears, make the bunny have ears."

Finally, Declan does it, "I did it!"

"Great job!" Penelope starts with the next step, "This step is a bit difficult as well. Cross loop 1 over loop 2. It's like the first step, but with loops. Now, you poke loop 1 underneath loop 2."

With Declan repeating the directions under his breath, "This step is a bit difficult as well. Cross loop 1 over loop 2. It's like the first step, but with loops. Now, you poke loop 1 underneath loop 2," he completes the step.

"Now, tighten them," Declan pulls as hard as he can. Penelope pulls one lace and everything comes undone, "Now just pull a lace, and it all comes undone." When Declan undoes his lace, his face lights up. He looks up at Penelope then back at his shoe. Penelope hands him his shoe, "Now you do it on your feet."

Declan copies exactly what Penelope taught him, "Thank you! Thank you!" Declan hops up from his chair and hugs Penelope tightly.

Penelope hugs him back. After a few seconds of bliss, Penelope pulls away, "We have to go back to Emily. She is super scared." Declan nods and starts to exit the room. Abruptly he stops in the doorframe and runs back to the incubators, "I love you guys." He waves goodbye to his new brother and sister, then leaves, holding Penelope's hands.

After a minute's walk, Penelope and Declan meet the rest of the team in Emily's room. Declan runs up to Emily and hugs her, "I'm so sorry."

Emily hugs him back while looking up at Penelope. JJ taps on Declan's shoulder, "You must be starving after your long trip. Do you want to come to the cafeteria with me and Spence?"

Declan nods his head and skips out of the room with JJ and Spencer. Emily wipes away her tears with a tissue. She asks Penelope, "Where was he?"

Penelope takes Derek's seat and responds, "With Louis and Lauren. I taught him how to tie his shoes, he said goodbye and then we came down here."

Emily starts balling again. Derek stops Penelope from trying to hug her, "Hormones."

"I just… I just don't know what to do," Emily sobs.

Aaron interjects, "If you won't listen to anybody about your safety, at the very least… stay safe on your own…"

Penelope nods in agreement. Dave mentions, "It's been a long day. Why don't I take Declan home with me? He can stay in one of my many guest rooms. That way I can keep an eye on him and keep you informed."

Emily nods her head while weeping. Derek speaks up, "Why don't we let you have some time to yourself. It's been a long day."

Derek, Dave, Aaron, and Penelope depart the room, leaving Emily alone. Soon after she drifts off to sleep knowing that Louis, Lauren, and Declan are safe and sound either in the hospital or with Dave. Drifting off to sleep she hears her phone. She looks down and reads, "Sweet dreams, Emily." She puts her phone down and tries to think of the positives. She thinks, "He wouldn't hurt his own children."
