Heather watched as Aizawa processed what she had just blurted out. She didn't expect to tell him anything, but she was too shaken to stop herself. She took all their trust and it was about to shatter.

" What do you mean? What did you do?" Aizawa questioned.

" I b-became a v-villain," Heather sobbed.

She couldn't look Aizawa in the face anymore. Between his glowing eyes and her guilt, she was too scared. She knew, either way, she was trapped and too frozen to move.

Aizawa's POV-

Aizawa froze at Heather's words, feeling angry and confused. What could've happened to his students if she hadn't told him?

He couldn't believe the sobbing girl in front of him was a villain. She looked like she could barely function right now, let alone go out and commit crimes.

Her body was turning dark purple, a sign of nerve damage. She encased herself in ice, creating her own prison. She wouldn't stop shaking, mumbling incoherent apologies over and over again.

" I'm going to go get Recovery Girl and Endeavor, we'll talk after that," Aizawa sighed.

" No! P-Please don't get h-him! I c-can't do it! I-I can't b-be around him," Heather pleaded.

Aizawa looked at her panicked face, feeling angry. She was terrified of her father, and that worried him. What did he do to make his children fear him so much?

" Fine," Aizawa spoke," I'll get someone to at least break the ice."

Aizawa noticed Heather relaxed, her head leaning against the tree. He left, knowing she couldn't escape anyway.

Heather's POV-

Heather leaned against the tree, exhaustion setting in. Between the frostbite and panic attack, she felt like she could pass out at any moment.

" So, you're a villain," Shoto spoke.

Heather looked up, her eyes wide. She didn't know Shoto was outside, let alone listening to her conversation. His expression remained stoic, but his eyes were filled with burning anger. She looked away, not being able to look at his eyes. They were like the ones that terrified her. At that moment he really reminded her of their father.

" I should've guessed, you weren't very good at hiding it. I mean, you couldn't even look at me without panicking. When did this even happen?" Shoto spat.

" A f-few months before T-Touya died. I-I stumbled into t-the wrong p-place. I-I was being h-held by my throat, it w-was either j-join them or die," Heather explained.

" And yet you've stayed all this time. Why wouldn't you have left by now?"

" B-because I can't! If I-I leave t-they'll kill me,"

Shoto's POV-

Shoto didn't know how to feel about all of this. Was she afraid of him because of his secret, or was it because of their father?

He felt himself start to break at the look on her face. Why did everyone think he looked like his father? Was he that heartless?

" I-I'm sorry Shoto," Heather spoke, her voice barely above a whisper.

She looked bad. Her eyes were heavy-lidded like she could pass out at any moment. He could tell, even though she was trapped in ice, she was violently shivering.

Seeing Aizawa in the distance he put his hand on the ice, melting it. Soon Heather came toppling out, Shoto catching her.

He had to admit, she looked peaceful in her half-conscious state. He knew she was a villain, but that didn't stop him from wondering who his sister was. He barely remembered her, never getting to hang out with his older siblings.

Heather's POV-

Heather woke up handcuffed to one of the nurse's beds. She was frightened for a moment before she remembered her confession.

" Oh dear, you're going to be worse than Midoriya at this point," Recovery Girl sighed.

Heather was surprised to hear the sweet tone of Recovery Girl's voice. She expected it to be mean, bitter, anything but kind. She didn't deserve kindness, she was a traitor after all.

" You don't hate me?" Heather questioned.

" No dear, I believe everyone should be allowed to tell their story. Speaking of, why don't you tell me why Shota found you frozen to a tree," Recovery Girl replied.

" I had a panic attack. When I get really upset I lose control of my quirk. I used to have someone who pulled me out of it, but they're gone,"

" I'm sorry, dear. I hate to say it, especially if it hurts you, but I think you need someone to help you train your quirk properly. If you keep taking damage as you do, I'm afraid you won't have use of your arms. Your arms are so damaged, I'm surprised you can still use them as well as you do,"

Heather froze at the words. She knew her arms were damaged, but she never thought it was that bad. Hell, she couldn't feel the pain most of the time. She always had her quirk active, just enough to numb her nerves.

" I don't know if I'll have anyone to train me after today," Heather sighed.

" Don't give up so easily, dear. Tell Shota your story and see what he decides from there. No one gets prosecuted before they have a fair trial," Recovery Girl replied.

Aizawa walked in after that, uncuffing Heather from the bed.

" Is she good to go?" he questioned.

" Just be easy, she's still healing," Recovery Girl answered.

Aizawa sighed in response. He looked more tired than normal, which Heather didn't know was possible. She hoped it wasn't because of her, she didn't want to stress anybody out.

" Heather, please come with me," Aizawa said.

She did as told, following Aizawa down the hall. He lead her to what looked like a meeting room. Inside was Midnight, Present Mic, and Shoto. Heather felt her nerves rising, her fingers growing colder.

Sitting down, she was faced with confused and angry stares from all of them. Aizawa cleared his throat, sitting down as well.

" Heather you told me you were a villain, is that true?" Aizawa questioned.

" Y-yeah it's true," Heather replied.

" Can you tell us why you became a villain?"

Heather let out a shaky breath, starting from the beginning. She saw Shoto tense as she brought up their family issues, making her feel guilty.

She told them about Shigaraki and his plans, making sure to give them every detail she could remember. By the end of it, she was in tears and the room was a few degrees colder.

" So you didn't want to be a villain?" Midnight questioned.

" N-no, I never wanted to. Between my anger and the situation I faced, it seemed like the safest option for me," Heather replied.

" Have you ever committed any serious crimes?"

" No, the most I've done was theft. I have never harmed anyone in any way,"

Heather felt uncomfortable with all the eyes on her. Now they held pity, something she hated to see. Shoto seemed lost in thought. She couldn't tell if it was from reliving family trauma or if he was processing everything she said.

" Heather I'd hate to see you thrown in a cell for this. I'll make you a deal. I'll let you continue staying here as my aid, as long as you don't commit any more crimes. You'll cut ties with the League completely. I'll train you and, hopefully, you can get your quirk controlled. You can stay with me for now, it'll be the safest place for you. What do you say?" Aizawa proposed.

" A-are you being serious? Y-you'd do all that for me?" Heather questioned.

" You're not a bad person, Heather. We want to make sure you can still have a life outside of the League. You deserve to make something of yourself," Mic explained, serious for once.

Heather only nodded, choking back tears. She couldn't believe they were being so nice to her. She didn't deserve their kindness. At least, she didn't think so.

Walking next to Aizawa, they headed towards his home. She paused when someone grabbed her wrist.

" Can I talk to you?" Shoto asked.

Heather looked towards Aizawa, agreeing when he approved.

She followed Shoto to a bench, sitting next to him.

" Do you really see dad when you look at me?" Shoto questioned.

" I won't lie, sometimes I see it. When you get really angry it terrifies me. But Shoto, I'm not a reliable person to ask. Touya and I were subjected the longest, we had more time to be traumatized. Hell, anything that particular shade of blue reminds me of him," Heather explained.

" So, I am like him,"

" Hey, you aren't like Enji. Shoto you care, I can tell. Please, don't let what mom said bring you down,"

Heather fiddled with her fingers, the scarring red a reminder of their mother's mental downfall.

Heather shot out of her bed when she heard screaming. She ran into the kitchen, horrified at the sight in front of her. Her mother was pouring boiling water over Shoto's left eye.

Quickly moving to where they were, Heather pushed the kettle away from him. Scalding water poured over her fingers, burning them as well.

" Mama stop! What are you doing? That's your son!" Heather shouted.

Heather comforted a screaming Shoto, picking him up. Rei finally came to, covering her mouth in horror.

" Oh my god! Shoto, Heather, I'm so sorry," Rei sobbed.

" It's okay mama, we'll talk when I get back. I have to take Shoto to the hospital," Heather replied.

Heather walked away, not realizing she wouldn't see her mother after that.

Heather pulled Shoto into a hug, the latter tensing. She didn't care, calming at the embrace of her sibling.

" I'm here, Shoto. You may think I'm too afraid to come home, and maybe I am, but I'll be there if you need me. Don't let that old man push you around," Heather said.

" Does this mean you'll come to visit?" Shoto questioned.

" Soon, I promise,"
