Meanwhile, Jay Halstead and Officer Lee came running outside the hospital and had been warned of the incident.
However, they did not know who the people involved were.
They had had the announcement on the radio
- 5021 there was an accident in front of the Chocago Med.
But they weren't prepared to see the spectacle they had before them.
Especially Jay stayed when he saw the scene.
He almost fainted.
He recognized Burke's car, whose body had been taken away by doctors who wanted to assess its condition.
He too was still alive.
Moving forward he then saw a car that he didn't want to see. It was that of his brother.
The door was smashed from the blow from the other machine.
He hoped with all his heart that he was his brother.
Before reaching him, however, he had to try to collect as many clues as possible.
Even Agent Lee in his heart hoped that Will was okay. She loved him.
Looking at the car Jay noticed that there was blood from the driver's side on the window that was damaged and there was a bloody fingerprint on the steering wheel.
Halstead was seen to be on edge. When they were almost done, Agent Lee told him to go with the intention of completing the checks herself.
Thanking the colleague, the detective rushed inside to get some news, but no one could tell him anything about his brother's condition.
The only thing he was told was that Will had come in with Natalie, both of whom were injured, but that he seemed to be doing pretty well.
- I can see it? he-he asked a nurse.
- No, it's not possible at the moment. There only doctors who are examining them. You have to wait until they finish, "she said.
So Jay headed to the waiting room.
He decided to call Voight to inform him that he would stay in the hospital to hear from him as his brother.
After the phone call he started pacing back and forth nervously waiting for news.
