Ch.7 a burning situation
To the credit of Yusuke Otsuka he didn't run away in fear as many others did, he did however stand there slack jawed for just a few moments as he took in the events happening around him.
After a gale of wind cut a swath through the fairly empty battlefield, his two teammates, who he thought were going to check on the eastern beach, had come running back with Tegumi's wife, chasing what looked like the infamous Gold and Silver brothers from Kumo. He almost didn't jump when Tomoko froze the ground and Tegumi grabbed what looked to be his kid off the golden brothers shoulder. Then with an inhuman howl a person cloaked in ominous red chakra fell from the ship that the invaders came in on, and started to grow. First they sprouted two tails then the their screams became more beastial as the poor sod lost all human shape and blue flames sprouted from their writhing body.
Yusuke knew what this was; they had been warned and had trained for the situation ever since the First Hokage gifted the tailed beasts to the various Nations. This was a jinchuuriki who had lost control and succumbed to their prisoner.
After composing himself, Yusuke did his best to take control of a situation.
"Chain corp get a leash on that beast! 'Suiton' and 'Douton' users start hammering it with everything you got! 'Kaze' specialists help evacuate the injured then get the hell out of here! Katon and Raiton specialists focus on crowd control!" Yusuke was sure that if nothing else he wasn't going to let some freak beast of nature be the death of him or the village that he loved.
'Long as the Uzumaki can get their adamantine chains wrapped around it quickly we should be able to prevent the island from getting too banged up.' Yusuke thought to himself trying to keep himself calm.

Off the coast of Uzushiogakure Ashina Uzumaki and his companions were nearly home when they saw multiple ships of various makes sailing away from the island. Curious and concerned Ashina had one of the ships flaged down to ask what was going on. What the captain of the boat told him made his head ache.
"There was a notice from the clan head office that the island was expecting an attack, so we should either secure our vessels and pray or go towards the mainland for a day. At first we thought they were pulling our leg but as we were leaving are eyes in The Crows Nest spotted a ship flying Kumo's flags breaking through the eddies to the north with some mean jutsu." The young captain spoke plainly about why they were leaving the island nation.
"If Kumo is attacking I doubt that they would send just one ship, regardless of if they know of your absence or not." Jiraiya said perplexed as to what could possibly be going on.
"Well it's not like we'll find out what has happened by standing around here. Come the time for leisure is past, now we fly." Ashina said while unsealing red body armor and twin swords from a scroll on his waist. Slipping and fastening them onto his person with quick and practiced movements.
'If the Raikage feels so confident in his forces as to blatantly attack my home then he must have either come in person or sent that constantly rampaging eight tailed beast. Regardless I don't think Gyoja or Kurochi can handle this matter without me.' Ashina's thoughts went to the other clan heads, as he bit his thumb made three hand seals and slammed the deck of the vessel
"Kuchiyose no jutsu - Ahodori-san, we must get to the island quickly." A pelican the size of a car appeared from the smoke standing unfurling a wing and letting the four man group onto its back.

Suzuri was floating once again in the empty void of nothingness from six and a half years ago, except this time he could hear noises in the distance. He couldn't make out any distinct sound or words, but he was sure that the noise was sad. He tried to get closer to the sound but it wouldn't get louder or quieter no matter
'Hello!? Are you ok?'He screamed with his thoughts into the void with his thoughts, and the noise stopped for a moment before rising to an understandable level.
'Pain, pain and betrayal! Why WHy WHY!?' The voice cried out in agony and anger. The empty void was died a deep red from it's usual colorless black.
'do you need help? Are you hurt?' Suzuri didn't know what he could do as he was. From what he knew he was running from Ginkaku when he came to here in the void again.
'I'm probably dead again. Damn it! That angel warned me this place was dangerous, but I didn't think it would end this quickly.' Suzuri thought to himself.
'Betrayer! No trust! Lowly mouse! I'll eat you!' The voice rang out around him, somewhat clearer than before. It was almost feminine.
'Calm down, look i don't know who betrayed you but if you don't calm down I can't help you!' Dead or not, if he was stuck in some odd limbo then he would at least try and help whoever was stuck there with him.
'LIES! Never trust again! Kill you... KILL YOU ALL!' Suzuri could feel himself shake as the voice made that declaration.
'Please, calm down. you got tricked, I get it, but if you stay angry like this then you're letting them win! Think about it, what purpose does hate like that have other than self destruction?' He tried reasoning with the voice.
'Silence, I'll end you! I'll end everything!' Suzuri could feel for the first time in the empty world, and he felt pain. He felt as though his whole body was on fire. He wanted to scream but as he started he felt a tugging on himself and the void was black once again, and the angry voice was gone. Then the void fell away and he was able to open his eyes.

When Tegumi saw the seal of the two tails Jinchuuriki fail, and the demon cat freeing itself, he expected to be in for the hardest fight of his life. With his son in his arms and two pseudo jinchuuriki behind him, he was ready to go all out to make sure his loved ones survived, but the brothers just, ran and the demon cat just stood there silently like it couldn't figure out what was happening. He was almost certain that time had stopped for a while as the Chain corps quickly worked to bind the cat. Then Suzuri started to wake up, and all hell broke loose for the third time that day.
First was the demon brothers jumping onto the ship and using a water jutsu to move it quickly away from the flaming cat. Second was said cat trying very hard to escape from the adamantine chains that were secured around it, tightly. Third was the remaining Kumo ninja running towards the quickly leaving boat. Then finally fourthly was the arrival of Ashina on the back of his favorite summon Ahodori.
"I was gone for less than a month and I come back to news that Kumogakure is attacking us, what in the nine hells is going on Tegumi!?" Ashina leapt from his flying summon in front of his Apprentice.
"Well… oh crap Sumi!" Tegumi was about to start going into detail as Sumi clasped to the ground the henge she had on her body fading to show that along with her arms both her stomach and legs were severely burned. He nearly dropped a slowly awakening Suzuri as he ran to catch his wife, who was instead caught by Togomo.
"Ashina-sama before we can catch you up we must take care of the matters at hand. Medic!" Togomo said, trying to placate her master while slowly placing a shivering Sumi on the ground.
"The lady has a point Ashina-sama, for now let's put the cat back in a bag, so to speak" Jiraiya said getting off of Ashina's summon that had landed on the beach.
"We'll need a sacrifice." Ashina said bluntly
"I'll do it." Suzuri said, getting out of his father's arms.
"What, no you won't! You have no idea what kind of sacrifice he needs!" Tomogo cut in before Tegumi had a chance to process what his son had said.
"Yes I do! You need to put the mean beast into a person, just like you did with Mito-sama and the mean fox… right?"Suzuri knew what jinchuuriki were from before he was born. He knew that as an Uzumaki who was blessed with strong yin chakra that he was a half decent candidate, but more importantly he knew what her name was. Hell he knew who and what her 'grandmother', Kaguya was.
"Well your not wrong but-," Togomo was cut off when the tailed beast got one its two tails free for a moment and slammed it down near them before it was secured once again, this time by Ashina's adamantine chains.
"If the boy is willing then fine. From what I sense and what Tegumi has told me he has strong yin chakra like Mito does. Tegumi snap from your daze and help us write the seal on the boy." Ashina took hold of the situation with an iron grip.
"Wha- no! That's my son Ashina-sensei! He's just a kid!" Tegumi finally coming to his senses was horrified by what his master ordered.
"And you think Mito was any different for me boy? He is willing to take on the burden, though he might not know what that means yet, he has the conviction to do it. Or would you suggest we look through everyone here to try and find someone else who could take his place? All the while you're kinsmen and allies are getting burned, crushed and exhausted." Ashina reprimanded his student. He knew he was being unreasonable but he knew what fatigued Uzumaki looked like very well, and the members of the chain core were looking exhausted. He would honestly apologize to Tegumi later, but right now they needed a container and the child would work.
"Ye-yes sensei, I'm… I'm sorry Suzuri. This will hurt, alot." With tears in his eyes he knocked his son out with a chop to the neck. As Suzuri fell Tagumi raised the boys shirt pulled out a brush with some special ink and started writing.

Well that's it. I wanted to put this up earlier but I couldn't figure out how to end it. Then the girl I've been chatting with never showed up to the date she planned. So I had some honestly not bad ravioli and salad with more than one glass of liquid courage and this is the result. I know it's not great, I barely call it meh but it's what I got to give. Any ways I'm tipsy and sad if you see any errors tell me in the comments and I'll try to fix it.
