Xerzo LotCN: Yeah…it might come up soon…she's always been a good sister, nosy, but good.
OechsnerC: Yeah, unfortunately these things happen in real life. Good to know and keep reading.
Enjoy the next chapter…following Sam and Tucker here…so…another short chapter…enjoy.
Sam narrowed her eyes as she looked down at her phone as she and Tucker sat in a booth at the Nasty Burger. Tucker took a deep breath and Sam looked up in annoyance, "He's not going to call, Sam. He left his phone, remember?"
Sam inhaled slowly before setting her phone down on the table, "I know, Tucker…but…I'm hoping he at least finds a phone and calls us…we can tell his parents where he's at and they'll go get him ad everything will go back to normal…we'd be hunting ghosts,"
"You'll be lying about your feelings towards him," Sam groaned as she swiftly kicked her friend from under the table and Tucker jumped up as he hissed in pain, "Jeez, learn to take a joke," holding his leg up, he rubbed his shin and narrowed his eyes, "Danny's a big boy, Sam…he's got his powers and he's been trained to fight, so if anything crosses him, he could-"
"He also has a gun, you idiot," Sam hissed quietly and Tucker frowned, "Or did you happen to miss that part? We don't know what he's feeling…we don't know where he's at, hell, we don't even know if he's still alive or if someone bested him," picking up her phone, the goth vegetarian scooted out of the booth, "I need to go. I have to find Danny an-"
"And what?" Tucker stood up and shook his head, "Sam, Danny is gone…he obviously doesn't want to be found, and if there were a way to find him, don't you think Jazz would've told us?" Sam hung her head, her hair hiding her face, "We know how Danny can get, we know that when he shuts himself off like this, then the best thing to do is give him some time to himself an-"
"Tuck…Danny could be lying in a ditch somewhere…he has a number of enemies, not to mention the Guys in White, as well as every other ghost hunter in Amity. They want Danny dead and…while he can take care of himself to a point…he's still technically human and would eventually need rest and food and…and…damn it, Tuck, we should be out there looking for him,"
"Looking for who," the two jumped and looked back to see Valerie staring at them in confusion, "What's going on? Who should you be looking for?"
Sam crossed her arms and scoffed as she looked away and Tucker sighed, "Danny…Danny ran away," Valerie's eyes widened, "He took a gun…an actual gun, from his parents, left his phone and ran off. No one knows why or where he's at and Sam wants to go out looking for him, but since we don't know where he's at, we'll be running around in the dark an-"
"Aren't you supposed to be his best friends?" Valerie arched a brow and shook her head, "You three were inseparable ever since second grade…you have no idea where he could be?"
"The thing is…whenever Danny gets upset about something, he never goes to the same spot twice and he never tells us where he's been or where he's going," Sam frowned, "And if he has a gun with him, he has the intention of hurting someone or himself,"
Valerie frowned as she hung her head, "So we're trying to find him before he does something that can get him hurt or even killed," Tucker explained, "But the thing is…Sam's right, we never know where Danny goes when something is bothering him,"
Valerie looked at the two before she inhaled slowly, "I get off in about twenty minutes. If you can wait that long, I'll help look for him with you guys." The two looked at each other before looking back at Valerie and hesitantly nodded in agreement before they watched Valerie walk away.
Sam took a deep breath before crossing her arms, "I don't like the idea of the Red Huntress helping us look for Danny, but right now…I don't see any other option," Tucker looked towards Sam and frowned before he walked back to the booth.
Enjoy.
