"Goodbye Jean-whatever, I don't need you hanging around in my bedroom all day. Shoo!" Chloe told her butler, who had just delivered her the spirit fruit, and honey, she requested. She was currently laying on one of her sofas, her feet out in front of her, adorned with yellow and black nail polish. "Okay, Pollen, it's safe for you to come out now," she told her kwami companion.

"Listen Chloe, you really need to be nicer to that man, at least learn his name. Haven't you ever heard the phrase: Don't bite the hand that feeds you?" the yellow god said to her holder. "I thought we were making progress earlier, but you've just reverted back to your old ways. You'll never change that way."

"I don't see why me changing is so important anyway. It's not like anything will happen if I stay the way I am. I mean, everyone loves me, even before and after they knew me as Queen Bee! I have nothing to worry about," Chloe informed Pollen.

"No Chloe, you do have something to worry about. When you grow up, people will expect you to work for yourself. There will be no Sabrina nor Jean to wait on you, like a waiter if you didn't know. And most importantly, your father will not be the mayor forever. Even if he holds the position until his last breath, you'll still be alive. So, with that said, I want to see improvements in your life, starting with Jean and Sabrina. A simple 'Thank You' doesn't hurt anyone," the bee kwami explained to the blonde. "Oh, and if you act rude, I will sting you."

With that final remark, Chloe gave in. "Fine, I'll try, but I am not making any promises. And if you sting me, you only get artificial honey for an entire month."

"I've had worse, queenie, don't even try. By the way, you have around thirty minutes until you need to leave to go on patrol with the others."

"Crap!" Chloe exclaimed. "My nails haven't finished drying! If I get up and transform, they'll be ruined. Pollen, get me a blow dryer, I need dry toes, ASAP!"

"Relax, the suit won't damage your nails. You can dry them when you get back."

"Ugh! Fine. I think I'll get out there a bit earlier. Catch some fresh air. Beesides, having superpowers is fun," Chloe said.

"Did you just make a pun?"

"Adrien must be rubbing off on me. Dear god."

Chloe got up from her couch, careful not to disturb her nails, and walked over to the edge of her balcony. She stepped on the other side of the safety rail and squatted down, ready to jump.

"Chloe, what are you doing!" Pollen yelled with concern.

"Making a dramatic entrance, it's what I do best." And with that, Chloe jumped off the side of her father's hotel. She called for her transformation mid-air; a bright yellow light illuminated the sky. Queen Bee swung her trompo around the nearest lamppost, and flew into the night sky as the retracting rope shot her into the sky. As the yellow and black superhero made their way throughout the Parisian sky, she admired the view of the city. 'This must be what Ladybug experiences,' she thought. 'Where have these exclusive views been my whole life?' Queen Bee continued to make her way across the city to the desired meeting point when something caught her eye. A small flash had appeared in an alleyway to her left. Seeing an opportunity to be a hero, she jumped down into the dark alleyway. As she landed on her feet, she looked up, only to be staring straight down the barrel of a gun. Damn, she thought to herself. 'Dying on the first day on the job, what an amazing superhero. I'm a disappointment.'

'Wait. No!' "I am Queen Bee!" shouted the heroine, a new passion and anger filling her eyes.

Before the mugger could think, Queen Bee thrusted her right leg out and side swept the man. She then threw her trompo out at the hand that held his gun. The top dislodged the firearm, throwing it into the ground. The mugger began to back up into the streets. However, before he could turn round to run, Queen Bee again threw her trompo, wrapping the man up, causing him to fall to the floor. The criminal successfully apprehended, Queen Bee removed the top of her trompo, and dialed the emergency services number. After assuring police were on the way, she turned to face the civilian behind her, only to be met with the face of…

"Queen Bee!" Nathaniel exclaimed as the heroine turned to face her. "Thank you for saving me."

"Toma- I mean, No problem, civilian, all in the work of a hero!" Queen Bee said with a smile. "However, I will have to leave as soon as the authorities arrive, so admire while you can," she added, winking at the confused artist.

The police chose this moment as a good time to show up, as a cop car rolled up next to the alleyway. Queen Bee told the officer about what happened, and he cuffed the mugger. After the criminal was cuffed, Queen Bee removed her trompo from around the man's torso and arms. The cop put the mugger into the back of the car, got himself into the driver's seat and began towards the police station.

"Well, I've got to take my leave now, I have important hero business to attend to, which I am already late to. Stay safe, civilian," Queen Bee told to Nathaniel. She grabbed her trompo from her waist and shot it towards the nearest overhang. The cord connected to the trompo retracted, sending the bee themed heroine into the sky. As she continued into the night sky, Nathaniel looked up at the heroine, thinking about the encounter he just had. 'I think I'll have to draw her later,' he thought to himself before making his way back to his house.
