Hey! Okay, so I'm trying to make this chapter in some small amounts of free time... so it may get to my normal length (usually somewhere around 1000 words. Hope you guys like it!

Annabeth's POV

As days passed by in Grimmauld Place, we got closer to the people there. We also cleaned up at least half of the mansion, which was hard. There were so many different magical creatures, it was actually hard to remember. By the time September 1st came, it was like we knew each other for years. That was a good thing, since at first, I seriously thought they hated us. Maybe they did. I got really close to Hermione, we did things like discussing different books, studying some of our topics, and so much more. I think I've grown closer to her than anyone else.

As we got into the car to go to King's Cross, I realized how helpful magic is. We only needed one car, for about 10 people, since they had put an extension spell to make everyone fit comfortably. We ran through the barrier and got onto the platform. It was really unfamiliar... but I liked it. The place was amazing, and I loved the architecture. We got onto the train and I had brought a book to occupy my time, just in case, but I didn't need it.

When we got on, Hermione and Ron left for about 20 minutes to go to the prefects meeting, and we started playing Exploding Snap with Harry. By the time Ron and Hermione got back, we were getting the hang of it. As the trolley got around, we got a lot of food, enough to last us weeks into the school year. When we got close to Hogwarts, we all went to change our robes.

As soon as I saw the actual castle, I stopped and stared. I seriously could not stop, it was amazing! Percy laughed and nudged me, and I finally got out of whatever trance I was in.

"Look at that! It's amazing! It's so beautiful and the architecture is amazing!" I started and I continued talking about the design till we got to the palace. I couldn't wait to see the inside!

We were going to go with everyone else when Professor McGonagall came and pulled us aside. She told us to go stand with the 1st years, since we still had to be sorted.

So we stood there and waited to go inside. Everyone else looked super worried, as if there was going to be some test or something, but Percy and I already knew what was going to happen. We would be called forward to sit on the stool, have the Sorting Hat decide where to put us, and then move on. Easy. They were probably scared because some kids decided to joke around with them.

Harry's POV

We got separated from Percy and Annabeth, who weren't as bad as I thought. They were really nice, and even though every night they would disappear for like 10 minutes, that's not too suspicious. I mean, we know where they are, and we see them come out pretty quickly, so there was really nothing just yet, besides the stuff we listed like a month ago. We still brought the parchment, but there wasn't much on it, except for the fact that he has like a phobia of the sky. It's confusing, but everyone's scared of something. I guess that's his fear.

We went into the Great Hall, and in a few minutes, the first years came out. I could see Percy and Annabeth towards the end of this line, and I was guessing they would just be called at the end. The Sorting passed by pretty quickly, the Sorting Hat never had to think for more than a second.

At the end, they told everyone about our guests, and Annabeth went up first. The Sorting Hat was thinking between Ravenclaw and Gryffindor, which made sense. Annabeth was extremely smart, but she's probably one of the bravest people I've met. After a few minutes, he decided Gryffindor, saying she was brave and prideful.

Percy went up, and again there was some serious thinking. The Sorting Hat seemed to be debating between all 4 houses. I got Gryffindor, he was really brave, and Hufflepuff, he was practically the definition of loyal. Ravenclaw was a little iffy, it was possible, but it wasn't his best trait. Slytherin, though? No, after getting to know him, the evilest I've ever seen him is when he got mad at a spider for scaring Annabeth. I know, cute that he was so protective, but that just proves that he's loyal. At last he was put in Gryffindor, I'm guessing the Sorting Hat took his opinion in, and he probably wanted to be with Annabeth.

We all cheered for the 2, and after Dumbledore's welcoming speech and the Hogwarts song, we started eating. Ron and Percy inhaled everything that they could reach on the Gryffindor table.

After dinner, Annabeth, Percy, and I went to the Gryffindor Common Room, while Hermione scolded Ron for saying something to the 1st years. I showed them around, showed them the 2 staircases leading to the dormitories, and warned Percy not to go up the girl's staircase. I told him what happens and he ran back like 20 feet, I had to laugh.

"It's okay, it only happens if you try going up the stairs. Nothing happens otherwise," I said, laughing. Annabeth was smiling in amusement, as well.

Ron and Hermione joined us in about 15 minutes after getting everyone situated. The 1st years went and to check everything out, while the rest of the Gryffindors started chatting with their friends or playing games. Eventually we got tired, and headed upstairs. Percy was roomed with us, and this time, I wasn't upset about it, especially since he was my friend now, and not someone I thought was going to kill me.

My sleep was dreamless, something I was happy about, because the first day back to Hogwarts is always the most tiring.

Okay, so I'm really happy! I got this chapter finished in 2 days! It didn't take too much time either, even though I am dedicated. I just also need to stay ahead on my school work. I may not have mentioned this, but I'm a BLINK! (If you don't know what that is, there's a K-pop band by the name of BLACKPINK. You should listen to their music) Lately, Rosé has been putting out solo songs, which I love! Try On The Ground, and if you like some slow songs, Gone is nice too. Overall their awesome, so please, if you decide to listen to one of their songs, review and tell me which one! Try one of their more major songs, like Du-Du Du-Du, or Kill This Love.
