GBond007: Kyle's become more bitter in general after breaking things off with the rest of the boys. He's not deliberately singling out Heidi, it's just a by-product of his new demeanor.
OtaconandhisJapaneseAnimes: Thank you.
On the edge of the woods, a group of cowboys fled into the town as their encampment was set on fire by a band of Indian braves. The Indians unleashed an Arrowstorm, raining arrow down upon the retreating cowboys as they vanished into the town.
Nelly watched as the camp burnt to smolders, a satisfied smirk on her face. Under her coordination, the Indians had nearly driven the cowboys out of their territory completely. Soon, they could push forward and wipe out the enemy completely.
"Hey, Nelly," One of the braves called out, carrying a crate of TNT towards her. "We managed to retrieve a Fireball. The cowboys were planning to use it, but now we have it."
"Great," Nelly said as one of the Indian Brutes, a 5th grader, took the Fireball crate and carried it back to the stronghold. "We can use that to blow up one of their outposts."
The band was about to head back to camp when Nelly unexpectedly received a phone call from Stan of Many Moons. "Yes, chieftain?" She asked calmly, while the other Indians stopped and turned towards her, wondering what their leader had to say.
They didn't hear what Stan told Nelly over the phone, but they saw the way the matriarch's calm expression morphed into confused irritation. Without evening uttering a "goodbye", she turned off the call.
"Uh, Nelly, what did Stan of Many Moons tell you?" The Indian brute asked.
Nelly sighed through her nose as she placed her phone back in her pocket. "We have an unexpected detour," She informed them.
"Where?" One of the braves asked.
"The Elven Sanctuary," Nelly replied through gritted teeth.
The Elf King, the Indian chief, the pirate captain, and the Cyborg Commander were waiting in the throne room when Nelly arrived, followed by a few Indian braves. She raised an arm, signaling for the braves to remain outside, while she entered the room where the other leaders were currently sitting.
"Hey, Nelly," Nymph Nichole greeted. She was standing next to Kyle, Heidi standing on the opposite side of him.
Nelly dismissively glanced at Nichole before looking down at the Indian chief. "I was wondering why you hadn't shown up to camp today," She told Stan as she stood next to him. "What are you doing here? I thought our business with the elves was over."
"Not quite, Nelly," Captain Wendy said. "Take a seat, please."
Nelly huffed, but did as she was told. She made sure to sit close to Stan, keeping her eyes on Kyle, a suspicious glint in them.
"Alright, Nelly, the reason we're here is because the dwarf army, led by Clyde, has taken our cave for themselves," Wendy explained.
Before she could continue, Nelly bluntly said, "So? You could've just told me, and our tribe would've kicked them out and made sure they never came back. There's no need to talk about it with them."
"We were thinking of getting to the source of the problem," Stan explained. "The reason the dwarves took over the pirate cave is because they got their weapon storage area at the junkyard taken by the alien hive."
"As leader of the Space Marines, it's my duty to eradicate any alien hives set up around town," Cyborg Kenny explained. "But since it's in the Fantasy territory, we decided to talk with the Elf King, Kyle, about it, and he's agreed to help kick the aliens out of the junkyard so the dwarves can have their weapons area back."
"Alright, that makes sense," Nelly said, relieving the others at her acquiescing. "So, what's the plan?"
"Since my elves know the area, we're going to help lead you guys through and dispatch the alien outposts," Kyle explained, placing down a map on the table for the others to see. "Once their defenses are weakened, we'll use the disarray to mount an attack from the rear of the junkyard. It won't be easy, so it'll be a joint effort of elves, Space Marines, and Indians."
"But Kyle, won't that be going against the rules?" Heidi asked. "I mean, it's one thing to guide them, but-"
"Our gameplay is at stake here," Kyle interrupted. "I think we can make an exception, especially since those aliens are already bending the rules by taking dwarf territory."
"As long as we're all in agreement, then?" Wendy asked. The others shrugged in response, which Wendy took as a yes.
"I've already phoned Craig," Kenny informed the others. "He and the others should be on their way."
"Alright then, let's not waste any time then," The Elf King said, standing up. "The sooner we get rid of the Alien Junkyard, the sooner we can get back to playing our games."
The others nodded and stood up, preparing to leave. As they filed out of the room, Stan paused and walked over to Kyle.
"Look dude, I just want to say thanks," He said. "For letting us into your territory."
"Forget it, Stan," Kyle replied. "I'm doing this for Kenny. We both are."
The two didn't say anything else to each other. They just nodded before following the others out of the room.
It didn't take long before the combined forces were overlooking the newly-christened Alien Junkyard.
It had only been about two days since the junkyard had been fashioned into an alien hive, but since then it had undergone extensive changes to better suit the hive. Toxic Pylons had been placed throughout the junkyard to ward off intruders, and the green substance had been strewn across the hundreds of broken cars and vehicles.
Stan of Many Moons approached Kyle, who was watching the junkyard from behind a tree. "When are we moving?" He whispered.
"We're waiting for my brother," The Elf King replied. "He's scouting out the junkyard. Since he's smaller, they're less likely to notice him."
"Oh, okay," Stan said, stepping backwards and joining Nelly and Wendy's side.
Stephen Tamill, a 5th grade Elf Crusader, lumbered towards the three. "You ready for this?" He asked, gripping his sword tightly. He rather roughly patted Nelly on the shoulder, causing her to shift slightly and grit her teeth in annoyance. She stared at him as he headed towards Kyle.
"Are you sure we can trust these guys?" She whispered to Stan. "I mean, I'm pretty sure trust issues is what ended your little broship."
"I know Kyle," Stan reassured her. "We may not be friends, but we can work together, at least on this."
"Look, here comes Kyle's brother," Captain Wendy whispered, pointing forward. Indeed, Canadian Knight Ike was speed-walking from the junkyard and towards the group.
Kyle immediately picked up his brother, relieved he had made it back. "Report, Ike," He ordered.
"Captives in the bus," Ike said, gesturing to the mashed up school bus on the edge of the junkyard. Kyle took out a pair of binoculars and looked through them; indeed, several kids were currently trapped inside the bus, stuck to their seats by the goo.
"He's right, there they are," Kyle said, handing the binoculars to Kenny.
"Of course," Kenny said. "The vehicles make ideal spots to hold their hostages. There are probably more trapped inside the cars around the junkyard."
"Well remember, we're not staging a full-out assault yet," Kyle reminded everyone. "We're focusing on weakening the defenses. We'll free the kids in the bus, and then we'll rescue everyone else once the aliens have been battered enough."
Turning to Stan, the Elf King said, "Get the men into position."
"And women," Nelly reminded.
Kyle facepalmed. "You know what I mean," He said, gesturing with his arms for the others to move.
Stan turned to the Indian Hunters and pointed upwards. Quickly, the hunters scrambled to get to higher ground. Cyborg Kenny made similar motions to Marine Craig, who stood with a platoon of Space Grunts. He nodded at the Cyborg Commander and cocked his gun, leading the other marines towards the junkyard entrance.
Stan, Kyle, and Kenny continued to spy on the junkyard. They could see the aliens, crawling over the vehicles, smearing goo over the metal. They were unaware of the forces advancing on their position.
Once everyone was in position, Stan of Many Moons let out his warcry, giving the signal. Everyone heard it, including the aliens, but before they could react, a hail of arrows were launched right over their heads. The aliens let out pained hisses as they were struck, while others scrambled to seek cover.
"Come on!" Marine Craig shouted. He and the Space Grunts charged into the junkyard, the gunners firing at the disoriented aliens while the grunts engaged them in fisticuffs. Some of the aliens returned fire, hurling poisoned eggs at the marines.
With the aliens distracted, several elves rushed towards the bus. The large crusader ripped the door from its hinges, allowing the elves to pile inside and go to work, freeing the captives. The crusader stood guard at the door, knocking back any aliens that tried to attack the elves.
"Go, go, go!" Blood Elf Bebe shouted, ushering the freed captives out of the bus. They quickly fled through the exit of the junkyard, dispersing into town.
"Hostages retrieved!" Marine Craig shouted, swatting away an attacking alien with his gun. "Come on, men, let's go!" He and the other marines quickly retreated, along with the elves, leaving the aliens to howl in despair. With the mission completed, the factions retreated before the aliens could regroup and retaliate.
Once they were a safe distance away, the kids celebrated. "We did it!" Heidi shouted, hopping up and down in the air.
"I bet the Queen will be mighty displeased to learn there's been a reduction in alien recruits!" Kenny snickered, nudging Craig with his elbow.
Kyle smiled to himself, but froze up when Stan unexpectedly engulfed him in a hug. "We did it, Kyle!" He shouted, patting the Elf King on the back.
Almost as soon as he did it, Stan froze as well, his smile vanishing when he realized what he'd just done. He and Kyle stared at each other, a blank look on their faces. Slowly, the former released the latter.
An awkward silence ensued. "I should probably be getting back to the stronghold," Stan muttered awkwardly.
"Yeah, I should be returning to the sanctuary," Kyle replied in a similar tone. "So, uh, same thing tomorrow?"
"Uh, yeah," Stan said. He diverted his eyes from Kyle and gestured for the Indians to follow him into town, along with Wendy. The Space Marines and the elves dispersed as well.
Kyle let out a deep sigh, then followed the other elves back to his backyard.
Professor Chaos slowly stumbled through a pathway in the woods. He was still reeling from his lucky escape from the Coonies; in his haste, he had accidentally gotten lost.
"Oh poo, they ruined my costume," He complained, staring down at the torn tinfoil, never mind the cuts and bruises he had received. "It's gonna take a whole day to repair this. And I need to use the bathroom, too."
He sighed and continued walking. As he did, he couldn't help but get the feeling he was being followed. He slowly turned around, but didn't see a thing.
Cautious, he turned back and continued walking. As he did, he felt a slight breeze behind him and thought he heard fast footsteps. He whirled around, just in time to see some leaves go flying, as if someone had run past them.
By this point, he was starting to get scared. "Loo, loo, loo," He whispered to comfort him as he continued on his way. He rubbed his knuckles together nervously, hoping to get home soon. It couldn't be that far away. . .
Hiss.
Butters froze, hearing the hissing sound practically in his ear. He slowly turned around, praying to see nothing like the other times.
Instead, he was met with the drooling jaws of an alien. They opened up, revealing rows of fanged teeth, and a pair of angry eyes behind them.
Butters suddenly felt like didn't need to use the bathroom anymore.
"Oh, hamburgers!" He shouted, the last thing out of his mouth before the alien lunged at him.
