FIFTEEN MINUTES AGO AT NCIS
McGee and everyone were ready to leave for that warehouse. Vance sent one team to Norfolk. McGee, Bishop and Torres checking their weapons and wearing their Kevlar vest. REAT team was ready too.
"Special Agent McGee, we got message from Director Vance that your team need our help on hostage situation. But he didn't tell everything.
What's the deal Agent McGee? And where is Agent Gibbs? Isn't he the one who is incharge here?" NCIS Special Agent Joanna Wright with NCIS REAT team asked.
"Yeah, we got a hostage situation and Gibbs is the one who's being held hostage." McGee informed.
"A WHAT?" Agent Wright asked.
"You heard correct Agent Wright." McGee said.
"I hope I'm not over stepping here but what happened, Agent McGee?" She asked in shock.
"Oh.. no, no. You have right to know the situation here. Well Agent Gibbs, Sloane and FBI former agent Tobias Fornell were abducted from the Fornell's house at Christmas eve by Canadian opioid drug cartel Merriweather.
Somehow Fornell and Sloane were successfully escape from there with Gibbs help. Now the problem is that Gibbs is still being held by Merriweather and possibly being beaten and torture for information.
"What about Agent Sloane?" She asked.
"She managed to trick Fornell and went back to help Gibbs. Fornell is here with us right now. He brought very valuable evidence against Merriweather..."
"Sorry to interrupt you, but Agent Sloane have made a contact with you?" Agent Wright asked.
"Negative. We don't know what's her status. We have confirmed location of a warehouse where Gibbs and Sloane being held captive." McGee said
"What is our first priority Agent McGee if situation goes wrong?" Agent Wright asked.
"Our first priority is to save Agent Gibbs and Agent Sloane's life. Merriweather dead or alive either way. ARE WE CLEAR?" It was Vance who just came out from the elevator.
"CLEAR SIR."Agent Wright said.
Vance noticed that McGee was looking frustrated when he pulled out his cellphone and disconnected the line and put back in his jacket.
"Everything is fine Agent McGee?" Vance asked.
"Yeah, just getting call from private number... and this is the fifth time I get the call from the same number." McGee replied.
"C'mon McGee, this might be Sloane or Gibbs who tried to connect us." Bishop said.
"Yes, McGee! You should call back man!" Torres said.
"No. Don't call back McGee. If this is Gibbs or Jack then they might be get in trouble if their cellphone is on ringing mode. Just make sure you receive the call next time when you get it." Vance stops McGee.
"But what if they are not able to call back Director? We should take a chance." Bishop said.
"Our chance might be cost their life Agent Bishop! And we called Agent Wright to get them back ALIVE. So do as Agent McGee said. Agent McGee you are incharge here. Do whatever you want but bring them back. You get that!" Vance yelled at Bishop and orders McGee.
"Yes Director, I got that." McGee replied and turned around to Agent Wright.
"Okay, so there're two entrances. Torres you and Bishop take the back door and I and Agent Wright will take the front. Nobody will shoot until I order to shoot.
Our first priority is to save Gibbs and Sloane. Everyone will keep in touch and if anyone found something suspicious inform others and stay alert! Any questions?" McGee yelled and orders like Gibbs did.
"Good. C'mon let's move!"
They get in to their vehicle and left for the warehouse.
AT THE WAREHOUSE
Sloane was trying McGee's phone again. She noticed that cellphone's battery is almost dead. Still she tried her luck one more time.
"C'mon...C'mon pick up McGee, please!" She was praying so badly.
In the vehicle
"This is the same number, again!" McGee said.
"Then what are you waiting for Agent McGee! Answer the call." Agent Wright said.
"Hello, it's Special Agent..."
"MCGEE! Thank God you answer the phone." Sloane said.
"JACK! Where are you? Is Gibbs with you?" McGee asked
"I'm...I'm fine McGee but it's Gibbs. He's beaten and tortured. I...I managed to entered in the warehouse and I am right next to his room where he was being held." She informed in one breath.
"Hey...hey! Calm down Jack. We're on our way to get both of you. We'll be there in twenty minutes. Just hang in there. Jack... hey! Hey, Jack! Are you listening..." McGee asked and check his cellphone just incase it was disconnect accidentally.
"We don't have Twenty Minutes, McGee! Hey...McGee! McGee!" Jack was whispering but loud enough so McGee could hear her.
"MCGEE!" Sloane check that cellphone and sighed in frustration because cellphone battery was dead. She threw that cellphone on the floor and decides to save Gibbs by herself. She sits down on the floor and started thinking about how to get Gibbs out of this mess!
PRESENT TIME
"Any last words?"
"F*k yourself." Gibbs clenched his jaw and said in strong voice.
"FINE THEN GET READY TO DIE AGENT GIBBS."
Before he pulled the trigger two shots rang out and his two men who were holding Gibbs fell down laying dead on the floor.
"NOT TODAY YOU BASTARD!"
Merriweather turned around and saw Sloane was standing at the door and pointing her gun at him.
Gibbs hit the floor very hard with those men when they were shot by Jack. He lay there for few seconds. And lucky for him because of that jolt that plastic rope gave up and his hands were free from the restraints. He raise his head to saw who shot these men. His eyes were wide open in surprise when he saw Jack's bloodied face.
"JACK!" Gibbs whispered.
He smiles but his smile fed away from his face when he saw Merriweather pulled his weapon up to shoot Sloane. His eyes widened in fear and he kicked Merriweather's legs.
Merriweather fell down right next to him but before that two shots rang out. He looked at Sloane with fear. He sighed in relief. That bullet hit few inches above Sloane's head.
He stood up quickly and turned toward Merriweather who was trying to get his weapon. He kicked that gun away from him.
Gibbs then kicked him in his stomach three times. Merriweather tried to get up but Gibbs kicked him on his back. Merriweather fell down on his face. Gibbs kicked him in his side and then he grabbed him by his collar and made him stood up staggeringly. Then he started punching on his face. He punches him on his left side of his face, then right side and then he punched him in his nose.
First Jack didn't stops him because she thought he was beating him up in frustration. But when he didn't stops she ran toward him and grabbed Gibbs's arms and pulled him away from Merriweather.
"Stop Gibbs! Stop it!" Sloane was screaming at him.
"NO, HE DESERVES TO DIE! HE DESTROYED SO MANY PEOPLE'S LIVES. HE TOOK SO MANY INNOCENT KIDS LIVES. DESTROYED SO MANY FAMILIES! WE CAN'T LET HIM GO, JACK! I CAN'T LET HIM GO!" Gibbs was struggling against her grip.
"Don't do it Gibbs! We will arrest him. McGee and team are already on their way. C'mon let him go..." Jack said.
After struggling for while Gibbs calm down. And then he took Merriweather's gun and he grabbed Merriweather's arm and pulled him up.
"It doesn't matter, Gibbs. My backup will arrives here anytime! Don't worry I won't kill you first. I will kill her first right in front of your eyes." Merriweather said before spitting some blood on the floor. He started provoking him.
"He is right Gibbs! He called his backup we have to move fast." Sloane said.
They started walking toward the door. And suddenly Gibbs noticed too much blood on Sloane's face and clothes.
"You are bleeding Jack." Gibbs said.
"No. It's not my blood Gibbs! It's one of his men's blood. I smashed his face with rock. Yeah, but I am fine!" Jack said with calmness.
Gibbs and Merriweather exchange their look in shock. They both were shocked about what just Jack said. They exchange their look one more time and then started walking.
"You said you talked with McGee?" Gibbs asked as he and Sloane made their way to corridor and went downstairs and carefully walked toward the main entrance of the warehouse.
"MOVE!" Gibbs said as he pushed Merriweather.
"Yes, he said they were already on the way. Before we could talk more my cellphone battery went dead." She replied.
"I told you to go with Fornell." Gibbs said in soft voice.
"So that bastard's name is Fornell, hun.." Merriweather said.
"SHUT UP AND MOVE!" Gibbs pushed him again and pressed gun between his shoulders blades.
"Hey! Easy man!" Merriweather grunt in pain. But Gibbs and Sloane both avoids him.
"Yes, you did. But I just can't left you here alone to die Gibbs! And by this bastard's hands! NOWAY." Sloane said.
"I can handle myself Jack! You shouldn't have to came for me. Don't put your life in danger for me." Gibbs said softly.
"Yes, Jack. He can handle himself!" Merriweather laughed.
Gibbs turned him around and slammed him against the wall and press his arm on his throat.
"You should stop talking if you want to live!" Gibbs said as he press harder. Then he removed his hand. Merriweather rub his neck and started coughing. Then he looked up at Sloane and took one step toward her.
"AND YOU SHOULD NOT HAVE TO COME BACK TO SAVE HIM." Merriweather said with venomous voice.
"Look our team will be here at any time. And then be ready to spend rest of your life behind the bars. Now keep quiet or I will shoot you! Did you get that!" Gibbs yelled at him as he grabbed him by his collar.
"Are you sure that your team will came to save you before my backup arrives? Hun... agent Gibbs!"
Before Gibbs or Sloane could say anything the sliding door was opened and few men entered in the warehouse. And they were surrounded by them. Gibbs and Sloane exchange their look in shock. They know they're in big trouble.
Merriweather smiled and he turned around and snatched the gun from Gibbs's hand and punch him in his stomach and then he back handed Sloane very hard. She hit the floor and lost her consciousness.
"JACK! You bastard!" Gibbs yelled and launched himself at Merriweather. He started punching him in his abdomen and face.
But two men grabbed his arms and pulled him away from Merriweather. Gibbs recognized one of them was the guard from the clinic, who kicked him and Fornell out from the clinic. Merriweather get up from the floor and ran toward Gibbs in anger.
"YOU SONOFABITCH! YOU ARE GOING TO PAY FOR THIS!" He yelled at Gibbs.
And he punched him on his face three times. Then he punched him in his stomach and kidneys few times. Then he told his men to drop him on the floor. Gibbs fell down on the floor and he tried to get up, when he managed to stood up. Merriweather kicked him in his chest and Gibbs hit the empty wooden crates.
Those empty crates boxes fell down with Gibbs and Merriweather came toward him and remove those boxes away from his way by kicking them. Gibbs was lying on the floor face down. He saw Sloane's gun lying on the floor few inches away from him. Gibbs started crawling to get that gun.
"YOU CAN'T MAKE IT OUT OF HERE ALIVE GIBBS! AND SO AS YOUR GIRLFRIEND!" Merriweather started laughing when he saw Gibbs was trying to get the gun.
Sloane started regain consciousness. She carefully looked around and she saw that they were trapped. Six men with heavy weapons were surrounded them. Then she heard Merriweather taunting Gibbs.
"GIBBS!" She whispered. And slowly look up.
Merriweather was walking toward him and then he kicked that gun away from out of his reach. Then he kicked him in his side. But Gibbs grabbed his leg and he pushed him back. Merriweather fell down on the floor.
Suddenly three men grabbed Gibbs and one of them punched him in his stomach. When he raised his hand again to hit Gibbs! Merriweather told him to stop!
"STOP! This is between you and me now, Gibbs. Nobody else, it just you and me. Let's see what you got AGENT GIBBS!" Merriweather said as he stood up on his feets and jerked off dust from his jacket.
Those men immediately let Gibbs go and get back to their position. First Gibbs hesitate but when he saw Jack, who was lying on the floor. Her lips were bleeding and this time it was her blood.
He ran toward Merriweather and grabbed him by his waist and then threw him on the floor. Merriweather grunt in pain but without wasting time he got up and started punching Gibbs. On his face and in his stomach. Gibbs blocks every single blows and then he kicked Merriweather in stomach.
Merriweather fell down on his knees. One of his man came to help him up. But he stops him and get up by himself.
"Not bad Gibbs! Not bad. I underestimate your physical strength." Merriweather said. But Gibbs didn't replied him. They both started circling around.
Merriweather launched himself at Gibbs but Gibbs simply step away from his way and Merriweather threw himself into empty crates boxes. Gibbs was smiling at Merriweather.
Merriweather gets frustrated and he stood up and picked up one wooden log and started trying to hit Gibbs with it. But Gibbs was dodging it easily. But when he heard Sloane's grunt, he looked at that direction. One man was holding her by her hair and pointing his gun to her head.
Merriweather seized his chance and he hit Gibbs with that log on his back of the head. Gibbs stumbled forward and fell down on his knees and hands.
He saw Merriweather's feets right in front of his face. Merriweather put that log under Gibbs's chin and forced him to look up. Then he hit Gibbs with the bottom of that log on Gibbs's side of his face. Gibbs managed to remain on his knees.
Merriweather hit Gibbs on his back and Gibbs fell forward on the floor face first. Gibbs started coughing. Gibbs was waiting for McGee and his team. He started stalling some time.
"Is that all you got? Can't face me on your own! Hun... MERRIWEATHER!" Gibbs said as he slowly get up.
"YOU WANT MORE, GIBBS?" Merriweather said as he threw that long and started walking toward Gibbs.
He snatched the chain from one of his men and punch Gibbs in his stomach. Gibbs fell down on his knees. Merriweather bent over to wrap it around Gibbs neck. He then used it to pull Gibbs' head up, applying enough pressure to make swallowing difficult but not enough to completely cut off his air. He leaned down until his mouth was near Gibbs' ear and a sick smile spread across his face.
"YOU STLL WANT MORE GIBBS? HUN.."
"STOP IT! STOP IT YOU BASTARD!" Sloane was screaming.
Merriweather look up at Sloane and growled with anger and gave the chain a hard shake, making Gibbs cough and sputter as he tried to breathe through the pressure.
Gibbs grabbed that chain with both hands and struggled to get free from that chain. He was gasping for air badly. He was going to lose consciousness.
Suddenly back door and front door were slammed opened and McGee and Agent Wright entered in the building. Torres and Bishop entered from the back door and started shooting those men.
Merriweather release Gibbs and pick up the gun from the floor and started shooting at team. Sloane back head- butt that man and then punch him on his face and took his gun and shot him.
She ran toward Gibbs and she dragged him behind the pillars. She gently tapped on Gibbs's face to wake him up.
"Hey! Cowboy... open your eyes! Team is here. Gibbs! C'mon open your eyes... help is here. Open your damn eyes GIBBS!" Sloane screams.
Gibbs started coughing and struggling to open his eyes. Slowly he opened his eyes and saw Sloane's face. Gibbs gave her a smile and she smiled back. Gibbs started coughing and rubbed his neck. After few minutes he realized that bullets were raining from both sides.
He looked around and noticed Sloane's weapon is still lying on the floor. He waited for seconds and then he jumped on the floor and rolled over the other side of the room, took that gun and started firing at Merriweather's men.
After few moments Merriweather's men surrendered and REACT team was started arresting them. The building's air was dusty and smokey because of heavy gun fire.
"Boss! You okay!" McGee asked.
"I'm... fine." Gibbs replied. His voice was little bit croaky. He cleared his throat.
"Alexi Myshkin You are under arrest!"
Gibbslooked at that direction. Gibbs and Sloane were looking confused.
"What... what did you just called me?"
"Why, what happened? Forgot your real name, Alexi...?" Nick said.
Merriweather dropped his weapon and then Merriweather get down on his knees and raised his hands in the air.
"McGee, his shipment is leaving..."
"We already took care of it Boss. Thanks to Vladimir's laptop." McGee said.
"Good job, McGee." Gibbs said as he stared at Merriweather and smiled at him.
REACT Team member was about to arrest him but when Merriweather heard about that NCIS got his shipment with help of Vladimir's laptop that Gibbs had successfully sent that to NCIS! He he got angry and he hit that guy and took his gun and he aim at Gibbs and he pulled the trigger!
Jack was watching it in fear she threw herself at Gibbs and bullet hit her in left shoulder.
"NOO... JACK! YOU SONOFABITCH!" Gibbs scream and he took the gun from McGee's holster and shot Merriweather five times. Merriweather's dead body hit the floor. Gibbs ran toward Sloane and took her in his arms and tapped on her face.
"JACK! HEY... C'MON! OPEN YOUR EYES...JACK! HEY...JACK! SLOANE... DAMN IT! OPEN YOUR EYES!" Gibbs yelled as he put the pressure on her bullet wound.
Suddenly pain ran through his head and Gibbs's vision started begun blur. He can hear that McGee and Nick were calling his name and telling him that EMT are here. But he lost consciousness and before his body hit the floor McGee got him in time.
TEAM FOUND GIBBS AND SLOANE IN TIME.
MERRIWEATHER IS DEAD NOW.
AND SLOANE TOOK BULLET FOR GIBBS!SHE DID, WHAT SHE CAME BACK FOR.
SHE SAVED GIBBS LIFE!
