The children had absolutely no idea as to what was coming.
On another part of the park, Maleficent, along with hundreds and thousands of other Disney-created villains appeared to be having a gathering of some sort.

"Greetings, all..." Maleficent spoke as she walked in the midst of all those bad guys. "Humans..."
The Queen of Hearts cackled, The Evil Queen bowed, and Captain Hook did a few quick fencing moves.
"Magical beings..."
Chernabog from Fantasia bowed out of respect to Maleficent.
(Brief "Zero to Hero" instrumental)
"Hey Mal, how ya doin'?" Hades made finger guns at Maleficent.
"And animals..."
Shere Khan bowed before Maleficent, along with the bear from the Fox and the Hound, and Lucifer from Cinderella.
"I've called you here today, because, in our little crusade to take the parks for our own, there has been a snag. Three snags, per say...a boy, a girl, and a woman stand in our way of taking over the world." Maleficent projected an image of Annette, Roy, and Cindi with her magic. "Any ideas as to how we can kill them?"
("Cruella De Vil" instrumental)
"OH! OH!" Cruella raised her hand. "I know just how to do it, Maleficent, DARLING! Forget puppies--I've always wanted a human-skin coat! I bet it'd feel so leathery..."
("Poor, Unfortunate Souls" instrumental)
"No, Cruella..." Ursula placed a tentacle over her mouth. "I know exactly how to deal with those poor, unfortunate souls..."
(Record scratch)
"What, you going to TAKE THEIR VOICES?!" Yzma exclaimed, then held up a vial of one of her potions. "We should turn them into something easier to kill...like a flea, a harmless little flea...AHAHAHAHAAAA! IT'S BRILLIANT, BRILLIANT, BRILLIANT! GENIUS I SAY!"
("Be Prepared" instrumental plays)
"Pssh, you humans are so primitive..." a brown, black-furred lion with green eyes spoke. "Perhaps we could trample them to death, with large animals such as wildebeests..."
Three hyenas appeared from behind the lion and giggled.
"Aw c'mon now, cat daddy!" An African-American man in a top hat and suit replied, slamming his cane down on Scar's tail and making him yowl. "What we need is some VOODOO round' here!"
("Friends on the Other Side" instrumental)
"...just have to make a deal with my friends, that's all..." Facilier laughed.
"Oh, voodoo shan't be required for this situation." Maleficent replied. "I know exactly what we're going to do. We shall steal the ENCHANTED PENCIL OF WALT DISNEY!!"
Every bad guy collectively gasped at what the evil fairy said.
"And, the children shall be powerless to stop us, for, we shall be using the eraser to REMOVE ALL THEY KNOW AND LOVE FROM THIS WORLD!! AHAHAAAAHAHAAAHAHAHAAAAA!!"
Maleficent turned into her dragon form and laughed maliciously alongside the other villains.
