A/N thanks for your reviews and support.

Yumi Edogawa: thanks for your review my friend. It would probably be an interesting match up. However I do not believe I'll have Izuku get OFA. It would be too OP for him. Friendships and relationships have to be done very carefully. Otherwise everything is at risk for them.

Chapter inspired by Apparition chapter 14.

Izuku's POV

The apartment was silent when he finally returned home. Thankfully his mother wasnt home. After dropping his bag off in his room he checked to see if they had any groceries. While it was too early to start on dinner he could lay out the things needed for it.

Unsurprisingly there was very little in the way of food. Half a gallon of milk sat in the door, a few fruits were in the drawers. A quick check of the milk told him that it was well beyond expired. He should have known that his mother wouldn't have gone shopping.

This was becoming more and more of an issue. Didnt he remind her a few days ago that they were running out of groceries? He was sure that he had. Why hadn't she bought anything?

Sighing Izuku went to where he knew the extra money was. He pulled out enough to get a week's worth of groceries. Then he left the apartment locking it up behind him.

It took an hour for him to go to the store and get his groceries then return to his apartment. When he came back there was a cop car out in front of the apartment. His mother who apparently returned from work was out front crying in front of an officer.

Izuku warily approached and Inko pointed at him. The officer turned around a man with a beard. No obvious quirk that would hinder him. Checking that his gloves were secure he continued his approach.

The officer asked gruffly giving him a once over, "Midoriya Izuku?" The boy nodded carefully, "You're being detained for suspicion of burglary. You have the right to remain silent."

Izuku was stunned into silence as the bags were taken from him. His injured shoulder was wrenched behind him, a pained gasp left him as he was placed in cuffs. Burglary his ass. His mother was just mad that he took the initiative to survive.

Once he was placed in cuffs he was put into the back of the squad car. The ride was made in absolute silence. Even if the officer tried to make small talk with him he wouldnt have any of it. It would only be used against him later.

Upon reaching the station he was dragged from the car with more force than necessary. He was 90% sure that the rough treatment was going to pull his stitches. If they hadn't already. Luck funnily enough was not on his side in this instance. He could feel a wet spot forming on his shoulder. Definitely pulled stitches.

They took his fingerprints and did everything normally done at booking. Really did they think he was some kind of master criminal? He was 13 for God's sake. Wait that's right he was a vigilante and analyst. So maybe he was slightly more than the average 13 year old.

None to gently he was put into a holding cell with several others waiting for bond and to be fully processed. Everything from his pockets had been taken from him and the cuffs removed. Luckily they couldnt go through his phone or things would get uncomfortable. A few of the others made him want to groan but he bit it back. No one could know who he was at night. Otherwise both he and Kavar's lives would be in danger.

Placing his back in one corner away from the others he pulled back his sticky shirt. A wince resounded through him as he saw the mess that lay under it. Well shit this was not good. Not good at all. If he couldnt find a way to staunch the bleeding he might bleed out.

One man, the closest to him asked eyeing Izuku carefully, "You okay kid? What's someone like you in here for anyways? You cant be more than ten or eleven."

Izuku answered absentmindedly, "Thirteen actually. And burglary."

"What did a brat like you steal?" questioned another her curiosity peaked.

Still not really paying attention he answered, "Money for food out of our emergency funds. We didnt have any groceries."

They didnt get the chance to ask him anything else as the officer returned. He questioned gruffly, "Who do you want us to call? Your mother says she wont pay bail."

For a moment he considered it before he said sharply meeting the other's eyes, "Detective Tsukauchi Naomasa."

That had everyone around him gaping. It took a moment for the officer to recover and nod sharply. He was gone a moment later leaving them alone.

The first whispered, "Hope you know what you're doing kid. Everyone on the streets knows that name. They call him Truth Man because of his quirk. I doubt he'd go easy on you just because you're a kid."

That's where they were wrong. If anyone would understand it was the detective. At least he hoped that was true. He was about to find out.

It took half an hour for the detective to arrive. Exhaustion was clear on his features. When he saw Izuku the man's face became stormy.

He turned to the officer and questioned anger clear in his voice, "Why is he in holding?"

The officer's face paled as he tried to explain it off. With each word that was spoken Tsukauchi grew more and more angry. Izuku could barely hear them as he swayed. His eyes became unfocused from the blood loss.

Tsukauchi said to Izuku, "Izuku come on. You're coming with me."

"Yesssss ssssir," slurred Izuku as he unsteadily stood.

At first Tsukauchi went back to beratting the officer then his hand back to Izuku so fast that it made his head spin. Dark eyes looked him over trying to discern what was wrong.

The voice of the first criminal who talked to him said his voice alarmed, "Detective! He's hurt."

Izuku tried to protest as gentle hands grabbed at him, "I'm fi..."

He didnt get to finish as the world went black and he collapsed.

Tsukauchi's POV

Swearing violently underneath his breath as he caught Izuku, he laid the boy down. Gently he pushed away Midoriya's jacket he found the white dress shirt was drenched in blood. He immediately pushed away the shirt and found a serious wound.

To the young officer he shouted, "Call an ambulance! Someone get me the medkit!"

Other officers who had heard him berating the officer and came to see what the problem was. They immediately jumped to follow his order. Naomasa pulled off the kid's jacket and unbuttoned the shirt. He only removed on side of

It looked as if the wound had been stitched up by a steady hand on both sides. That at least told him that Midoriya hadnt tried to do it himself. A small comfort all things considering. The wound had an entrance an exit. It was long and deep but not very wide. Something about it felt as if it should be familiar but he couldnt quite place why.

Naomasa wasnt given much time to think on it as an officer returned with the medkit. Right away Naomasa focused his attention on stopping the bleeding. While it wasnt stopped it had slowed by the time the ambulance arrived.

While the paramedics were loading Midoriya, he ordered the officers, "I want Inko Midoriya brought in for questioning. She is not to leave until I have spoken with her. Do you understand me?"

"Yes sir," replied the men fear in their eyes. They would not dare disobey him. Then he got in the ambulance with the paramedics. A swift message was sent to Nezu and Aizawa. Maybe together they could find out what in the hell was going on.
