Major Blacksmith Arrested:

Holden Residence:

It had been two weeks since Seanna gave birth to Leanna & Reanna. Keanna was getting used to her sisters and even Emmaline was getting used to them being in the house. Seanna wasn't going to work because even though she wanted to work, Roxy had told her that Betty's was going away and that it was becoming the Hump again (something about taxes). With Betty's becoming a bar again, Seanna was out of a job, which meant that as soon as the twins were old enough to go into daycare, Seanna would be looking for another job, though she highly doubted the Holden's would allow her to get a job.

Sure, Seanna's days were filled with taking care of the twins and Keanna, but she still had time to update her status on Facebook and do some things in her spare time. While the twins were sleeping, she would be in the kitchen doing something or in the laundry room doing laundry. Emmaline was mostly home now, helping out as much as she could, keeping Keanna from waking the twins. Seanna was a great mother, though someone on the outside might just see it as a way of keeping herself occupied. Seanna had contacted her mother through email and according to the most recent email; her mother would be in town within the week. She also wanted to speak with Major Blacksmith, to see if what Seanna said was true. She said nothing else and hadn't contacted her after that email.

"Emmaline, can we talk some?" I asked as I came down the stairs. The twins were in their basinet and I was bringing it down to the living room so I could keep an eye on them while I talked with Emmaline.

"Sure, what can I do for you?" She asked. Keanna was passed out on the couch after having some lunch. It was lunch time and it was also about the time that all three girls slept softly next to each other.

"I got another email from my mother. She says that she will be here within the week and that she wants to talk to my father. I tried to tell her that he was still in Iraq but she wouldn't listen and she hasn't emailed me back."

"Well, are you going to meet her somewhere?"

"I was thinking of meeting her off Post. But in order to do that, I'm going to need someone to watch the twins and Keanna. And I don't want to go alone."

"Well, I can watch the girls and my parents will most likely want to go with you. But I don't think they will want to let you meet her off Post. Your mom hasn't been in your life for years. They'll want to keep you as safe as they possibly can. We can ask them later tonight during dinner."

"That sounds like a good idea. We can always talk to them about it at dinner. So, do you think she'll accept me?"

"I think she'll like knowing that somehow, though she left you with your father, you were able to survive until someone cared enough to get you out, like say my mom and her friends and my dad and his co-workers."

"Or we could just say your mom's friends' families."

"Yes we could say that, but who wants to get tongue tied trying to say that?"

"Good point."
