ACADEMY
after lunch Naruto, Hinata and Sasuke went back to class, with every girl glaring at Hinata for getting the best boy's on her team. 'Damn you Hinata I wanted Sasuke and Naruto on MY TEAM' Sakura was on the verge of screaming, she got put with bug boy and the loud Kiba.
Shino didn't mind because he spoke with Kiba from time to time, He had conversations with Hinata and Kiba joined in sometime's so they weren't total strangers.
Kiba thought Sakura was annoying and her only trait was being the second best to Hinata and drooling over Sasuke, Oh, and being a total crybaby and a bitch.
Ino was somehow worse off than Sakura, she got put with a fat boy and the lazy ass. Sakura looked over at Ino who was saying "I should be the leader and you two need to actually do stuff, get some new clothes I will not have my teammates wear rags when were out on Missions" Sakura smirked 'HA, good luck Ino pig, trying to get that fa tass to do some work, Fat chance'.
Choji felt a disturbance in the force and was about to bring peace and balance when Iruka walked in and told everyone to sit down, He would have to ignore it this time but... justice shall not be ignored *munch* Choji had a fiery look in his eyes 'wow guess that pep talk worked huh' Ino looked in the direction of Choji.
She smirked thinking too much of herself.
"Alright class your Jonin sensei will be here in a little while, Now just relax and stay calm, I'm gonna go because I have classes to teach".
Naruto looked around, 'damn these Jonin sensei are boring, they look like the average Jonin... if they keep going by Numbers then that means that team 7 should be next' Naruto eagerly waited for the Jonin sensei to walk through.
'Kurenai!, HELL YES SHE GOT THE BEST BODY OUT OF ALL THE JONIN, hmm maybe that's Anko?' Naruto had a perverted look on his face.
FLASHBACK
Naruto was looking around the Library for some new books, He had recently been reading books by the author Jiraiya, the ones he read were Ninja books, so when he found a book called make-out paradise, he was curious.
He picked it up and thought it was a little strange but there were some ninja references in there, he started to look into it more and thought 'ya know this is kinda good' Naruto began to compare the body types and shapes to that of Kurenai and Anko... the next pages really gave him have some "Character development".
Naruto at first used it to help him with his ultimate prank technique (sexy Jutsu), but the more he read the more he liked it and inevitably became a pervert.
FLASHBACK END
Naruto looked at Kurenai with the perverted look gone and asked "Hey are you by any chance team 7's leader" Naruto's hopes grew when she smiled "no" Naruto took a moment to let those words sink in.
'Actually one of your teammates should have been on my team' Kurenai looked at Hinata, who was trying to snap Naruto out of a trance
ANOTHER FLASHBACK
Kakashi, Asuma, and Kurenai were all at the Hokages office with some other Jonin, "Any questions or complaints you wish to say do it now, this will be your one and only chance" Hiruzen said in a calm but firm voice
"Yes Lord Hokage, I wish to switch Sakura Haruno in place of Hinata Hyuga, I have reason's for said choice" Kurenai looked at Kakashi with a firm gaze "I object".
Hiruzen nodded "well I feel we should let both of you speak your reasons and I shall be the judge" Hiruzen stated with authority.
"If you wouldn't mind I would like to go first," Kakashi gave a look to Kurenai who gave a simple nod back "as you might not have known I have a personal connection to the student Naruto Uzumaki whom of which told me a lot about each one of the student's behaviors and attitude, Sasuke and he seem to get along as friendly rivals and have a close bond that isn't visible to the naked human eye. Sakura Haruno is very talented in Chakra control and could be very useful in Genjutsu, but she also has a weakness towards Sasuke where she always tries to be with him and has a very high fan girl mentality, her minds more about boy's, Sasuke to be exact than Ninja training and missions, I feel like Kurenai could be a perfect female Ninja role model for her." This was an eye-opener for Kurenai.
"Furthermore just maybe a gut feeling but Sakura and Sasuke being on the same team could stunt both of their growth as a ninja, Sakura since she would be chasing after Sasuke in the love and romantic relationship instead of working on improving her self. For Sasuke, he would be busy trying to get away from her and seeing her as a liability not trusting her as an ally, and you know how strict I am about teamwork." Kakashi gave out an eye smile.
"well why Hinata, shes perfect for tracking, and isn't your team supposed to be an offensive squad, With Naruto Uzumaki, a prodigy in his own right capable of taking on Sasuke Uchiha and both of them bouncing off each other pushing each other, and Sakura being cunning and the strategic one of the three balancing them out? why Hinata she is a Hyuga and there very important for tracking" Kakashi nodded "that may be true, but Naruto did speak very highly of her and said that her Taijutsu skills are the best in the Academy, beating that of Sasuke, her strength, speed, and stamina isn't as high as Sasuke or Naruto, but her clan's style and the Byakugan are very dangerous and prove to be very powerful just to go to wast on a tracking team with her clan Jutsu and Naruto's water Jutsu as well as Sasuke's fire Jutsu they can keep the enemy distracted at long range while Hinata can finish them off at close range, the possibilities are endless. I just think that this could be a wasted opportunity."
Kurenai was left speechless "Well I think Kakashi has a point there Hinata Hyuga will be put on squad 7 with Naruto Uzumaki and Sasuke Uchiha."
All the Jonin were shocked 'WHAT HINATA IS THE PRINCESS OF THE HYUGA AND THE HIDDEN LEAF WHY SHOULD SHE BE AT RISK ON THE TEAM OF THE DEMON FOX' all the Jonin were too scared to say anything but prayed for Hinata's safety.

then they did "no... no... no..." the words eco in Naruto's mind, "In fact, I'm here for team 8" Naruto was even more depressed 'KIBA GETS TO BE ON HER TEAM. I WORKED SO HARD IN THE ACADEMY FOR HIM TO GET THE HOT JONIN SENSEI' Naruto's rage rival's that of Sasuke when he was on a rant about the Uchiha clan.
minutes turned into hours and after Hinata snapping Naruto out of his 1,000-yard stare, they talked then he pulled out an orange book and started to read.
Sasuke was curious about the book, "Hey, what are you reading Naruto?" Naruto looked at Sasuke and had a grin on his face "you sure you want to know" Naruto asked with a giggle.
"Hey let me see" Hinata was curious and went to go peek over, Naruto instantly blushed as he remembered what page he was on... and it wasn't the most appropriate page "N-No Hinata I don't think this is your kind of book, T-Trust me you will think its really bad I myself only read it to make fun off it or to pass by the time"
Hinata put on a cute pout and a sad face "P-Please I want to see" It took Naruto every ounce of his strength to resist Hinata, her face her eyes her expression 'WAIT AM I DEVELOPING FEELINGS FOR HER' Naruto thought blushing like crazy, he couldn't even talk "W-WELL I NEED TO GO TO THE BATHROOM SEE YA" Naruto rushed off at a speed Sasuke was jealous off
'I thought I was supposed to be faster than him, He just reached a whole other level than me because Hinata wanted to read that book' Sasuke looked at Hinata "Hey whatever Naruto is hiding in that book has to be important, We need to find out what it is"
Hinata was shocked at this 'I don't like the idea of sneaking around Naruto just to find out what he likes, B-But if I really' Hinata started to think of the blonde more and more his smile his cute whiskers EVERYTHING her face became as red as a tomato, maybe even redder.
'But if I don't how will I know what he likes and if he'll love someone like me...' Hinata was contemplating and patted her cheeks "F-FINE, well sneak around and find out what's in that book!" Sasuke smirked 'Heh, I remember when she could barely talk, I wonder if Naruto had something to do with bringing her out of her shell'
'come to think of it, she was never really that weak,' Sasuke thought back to a time in the Acadamy...
ONCE AGAIN ANOTHER FLASHBACK
"Sasuke Uchiha VS Hinata Hyuga" Iruka called out.
Sasuke expected it to be a normal fight, Hinata on the other hand was a bit scared but she knew she had to try her best.
She wasn't feeling confident with all the girls screaming Sasuke's name, She was doubting herself until "DO YOUR BEST HINATA!" Naruto shouted above all the other girls cheering on the Uchiha.
Her confidence rose up and she took her stance more determined than ever before, Sasuke took his own stance and Iruka called the match.
"BEGIN" Iruka sliced the air with his hands and the students went into a clash.
Hinata went for a palm to the stomach meanwhile Sasuke dodged to the side, with the same arm Hinata went for an elbow to the face and Sasuke backed off, 'Why do I keep moving back on instinct' Sasuke thought to himself.
Hinata's strikes were all impeded with chakra making them stronger and lethal.
She then noticed Sasuke's stomach was wide open. 'Now' Hinata struck Sasuke with a palm to the stomach, Sasuke's eyes widened 'Her strikes are so strong' Hinata kept going for his weak stopes with her attacks.
Sasuke managed to dodge Hinata until he found out her style a little better, He still got a few strikes here and there. 'ITS NOW OR NEVER' Sasuke threw an overhead kick at Hinata who got hit by it head-on.
Hinata was about to blackout until she saw Naruto's face cheering her on, she jumped back and retook her stance. Sasuke dashed towards her and the two entered a fierce battle of dodging and blocking each other's attacks. Sasuke managed to out stamina Hinata and landed a punch to the gut, putting her out.
All the girls fanned around Sasuke and Naruto rushed to Hinata lifting her up.
FLASHBACK END
She probably got that confidence from Naruto and she grew stronger as well.
Sasuke was starting to see why team 7 could be a really good squad, and how Hinata had such an obvious crush on Naruto and Naruto had developing feelings for Hinata funny 'seriously how long has Shikamaru, Choji, and Kiba been trying to get these two together' Sasuke was about to laugh at the thought.
"I'm back" Naruto sat back beside Sasuke and Hinata "So, can I read that book?" Hinata asked again "nope" Naruto responded "this is... grown-ups stuff Hinata and Sasuke," Naruto noticed Sasuke listen in on their conversation.
Naruto managed to read when there was nothing to talk about. and kept Sasuke at bay with a genjutsu that if he tried to read Naruto's book it would be blank, (Witch both Sasuke and Hinata fell for).
"Sorry I'm lat-" Kakashi looked over to see what Naruto was reading 'No way' Naruto and Kakashi both looked at each others hand THE SAME BOOK.
Both shinobi found a new respect for each other "Well my first impression of you all is... your pretty chill" Sasuke and Hinata looked at Kakashi's hand 'That's the same book Naruto was reading' THEY NEEDED TO FIND OUT WHAT THIS BOOK WAS ALL ABOUT NOW!.
"Meet me on the roof in 5 minutes" Kakashi walked out the window and up the wall. 'HE JUST DID THAT WITH NO EFFORT' Squad 7 thought simultaneously.
After getting up on the roof Kakashi asked them a simple question "Introduce yourself's" he gave an eye smile and gestured to go on.
"Why don't you go first, we know each other but nothing about you" Naruto did the same gesture back. 'Well I know quite a lot about you anyway' Naruto chuckled to himself
"Ok, My name is Kakashi Hatake, I like reading and other things, I don't really dislike anything, Dreams for the future..." "What about your love life Kakashi sensei" Kakashi instantly thought of one person, Anko "That's none of your concern" Kakashi had a blush.
"And as for hobbies, I have lots of hobbies." Naruto giggled "Well how about you start blonde" Naruto straightened up "My Name is Naruto Uzumaki, I like ramen, My friends, training and learning new Jutsu, I dislike people who hurt my friends and... if I'm being honest the blonde demon nickname," Kakashi almost shuddered having a flashback about THAT NIGHT "well my hobbies include reading, training, and tasting different ramen and comparing them" Naruto stood up "And my dream is TO BECOME THE GREATEST HOKAGE, BELIEVE IT!" Naruto smiled and gave a thumbs up.
"Well, that's good for you, how about the girl next?" Kakashi looked at Hinata a gestured her to speak up.
"M-My name is Hinata Hyuga, I like my friends and making them happy I also like sweet things and flowers, I dislike people who make fun of my friends and those who discriminate against others for their own benefit, my hobbies are training, pressing flowers, and taking care of the Hyuga clan garden. My dream is to be a great female shinobi like lady Tsunade, one that would make my clan proud, and eventually have a" She looked at Naruto, said boy was getting worried 'Oh dear her stutter is coming back' Naruto and Kiba tried to get her out of it but...
"Hey, can you speak up a bit, nobody can hear you" Kakashi put a hand behind his ear.
Hinata raised her voice and let it all blurt out "I-I wish t-to one d-day have an f-family" Hinata stuttered but everyone got the point.
Naruto blushed when she looked at him and then their faces both went red as tomato's then they looked away from each other. Sasuke couldn't help but snicker 'GOD I CAN'T WITH THESE TWO, I made the right decision putting them on a squad together' Kakashi's laugh was hidden by his orange book.
As soon as Naruto and Hinata gained their composure Kakashi spoke "you next duck but" Sasuke was triggered by the insult to his hair, but was calm and cool enough to keep calm and talk.
"My name is Sasuke Uchiha, My likes are training and learning new Jutsu and not much else, as for dislikes I have a lot, my hobbies are training,
and my dreams it's not a dream I WILL make it a reality and that is to kill a certain someone." Naruto was wondering who it was 'hey does he mean the guy who massacred the Uchiha clan, I wonder who that is' Naruto wondered.
ELSEWHERE
"Achoo" Itachi and Kisame were out undercover in the land of fire, "Jeez Itachi, are you coming down with a cold, being hit with the shark bomb Jutsu during that spar must have given you a cold, why don't we take a rest, We got plenty of time to search for the Kyuubi," Kisame said, in his shark-like voice.
"Overall I'm fine, you know an old saying goes that when you sneeze it means someone is talking about you,"
"Funny when I grew up in the bloody mist no one even knew I existed and I sneezed a lot, you probably got a cold"
"that would be possible"
Back with team 7
"Ok since we have introductions out of the way, I feel we should talk about training and lessons, but first I'm giving you a test." Kakashi's voice was calm but stern.
"A TEST BUT WE HAD OUR TEST'S IN THE ACADEMY" Naruto yelled out furious about being forced into another test.
"Well, this test is a bit different, first off I recommend you don't eat breakfast or you might puke, second off if you fail this, you will all be sent back to the academy" Kakashi had a happy tone of voice, which made it all the scarier.
"W-What," Hinata said in shock "H-Hey, your joking right?" Naruto was just as shocked. Sasuke was visibly surprised but instantly went to a face of determination.
"Well, I'll let you three think on it, good night come to training ground 7, 8 AM sharp, I expect you to be on time" Kakashi vanished on a puff of smoke.
TRAINING GROUNDS 7, 8 AM
Naruto arrived at the training grounds and seen Hinata and Sasuke just arriving as well.
"Hey, I think we should all work on a game plan for the test, I've been thinking 'what could this test possibly be about that we never worked on in the Academy' and the answer came to me!" Naruto said with a smile, Hinata and Sasuke looked at Naruto with anticipation.
"Teamwork" Naruto's answer was simple, yet explained everything
"Of course, we get put on three-man squads at random, and all of it is dependant on our work in the academy and our paper files, the jonin sensei's job is to figure if we're capable shinobi." it all clicked in Sasuke's mind.
"So, any idea of what the test could be, Naruto?" Hinata asked curious of what the blonde could think up.
"I'm not sure what it could be exactly, but I have a gut feeling it's gonna try and pit us against each other" Naruto said rubbing his chin.
"Ninja's have to see through deception" Hinata repeated the words of her old sensei in the academy.
"Well we should think up a strategy and some teamwork coordinated attacks" Sasuke finished
"Ok, everyone says your Jutsu and anything you can use, like weapons, we will go through them and analyze each other's equipment to find out what each other can do," Naruto said with a smile and brought out his pouch, suddenly both Hinata and Sasuke saw THE BOOK.
"Naruto why don't you let us see that book? it could hold some useful information on Kakashi" Naruto noticed Sasuke pick the book up and Hinata look at the cover
"Make-out paradise? N-Naruto are you into romance novels?" Hinata said with a slight hint of happiness in her tone 'wow, does he maybe want to pull a romantic move on me from the book to swoon me over' Hinata imagined a romantic Naruto with a rose in his mouth saying 'I can't hold back these feelings for you anymore Hinata, your even more beautiful than the night sky and the moon, please marry me' Hinata was on the verge of having a nose bleed.
Sasuke was about to open the book Hinata was right beside him,(something about Hinata being so close to Sasuke really set Naruto off)
Naruto snatched the book away from them and said "THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH BEING A NINJA, IT'S JUST A REALLY AMAZING PIECE OF LITERATURE" Naruto had been chased by Hinata and Sasuke for 30 minutes.
This chapter had a lot riding on it and too many flashbacks, its the war arc all over again, but next time will be the team 7 test.
right now Sasuke is kinda in the middle for me right now I don't know where I want to go with him if he is going to stay in the village or leave, it's complicated but I think I'm gonna let it all play out.
and another great thing about doing Naruto fan fiction is the custom made Jutsu and collaboration Justu, at first I wasn't sure where I wanted to go with the extra team 7 members to keep it cannon or to have an actually good character in there, Hinata just came to mind for the comedy and for actual collaboration Jutsu.
there's a lot I have planned but I just need everything to get sorted out.
but one thing which would be great if doing fan fiction was a job, I could finally find something to work on (even though I'm not old enough for a job, yet)
