neonpinkbunnyisfun: Don't worry, I'm still alive and I'll continue on updating :) I don't know if I'll be able to do scheduled updates anymore tho...

Guest: That does seem really good! But I still have a lot of ideas in my head, so I think I'll stick to my own original ideas for now. Also, about your request, I have never tried to make a story centered around an OC but maybe I'll try over the summer? IDK, I feel kinda bad doing it without crediting

Shiroryuu012, ita123 & ENDDRAGON359: Thank you to you all! I appreciate the comments :D

Quiet voices were talking inside a bar somewhere in Kabukicho. This wasn't out of the ordinary, there are hundreds of bars inside the hardened neighborhood after all. What distinguished that bar from the rest was the fact that the voices were talking about the lost last samurai.

Otose's bar had become the unofficial search headquarters. She's complained to them, saying she didn't care about what happened to that rent-owing idiot, but the bags under her eyes betrayed her words.

"This is getting us nowhere!" Yelled a very irritated young boy.

"Calm down Shinpachi," said the old man beside him, "There's a very easy way to find him."

"Gengai-san, it's been two weeks and we still haven't found anything!" Exclaimed the boy-wearing glasses as he waved his arms around, "And what do you mean by 'a very easy way'? You have him chipped or something?!"

After catching his breath, he walked over to the closest sofa and sat down, putting his hands over his face. The past few weeks had taken a toll on everyone that has ever met the idiot samurai, they've all searched far and low, yet came out with nothing.

Shinpachi noticed the strange silence that had taken over the bar, he turned to the old inventor suspiciously, "Don't tell me…"

"Well, after the Great Milk Cream Factory Incident, I couldn't just let him go on his own."

The boy shuddered. He preferred not to remember… that. It was such an atrocious accident, both the editor and producers refused to include it in the manga and anime, "And you did that without anyone knowing?"

"No, I asked Kagura before doing it," Both of them turned to the girl tightly holding on to a sleeping Sadaharu on the floor.

In Shinpachi's opinion, she was the one who had taken Gintoki's disappearance the hardest. Despite repeatedly being invited to the Shimura home, she insisted on sleeping in the empty Yorozuya flat with the excuse that Gintoki would show up half-naked and full-on drunk.

The red-head stirred in her place, and holding on to Sadaharu a little tighter whispered, "Gin-chan's an idiot, uh-huh. Couldn't have him forgetting how to return home again, nuh-uh."

"Kagura-chan…" Shinpachi knew that she didn't care about the milk cream factory, she had another incident in mind. He faced Gengai and said, "Well then, where is he?"

"That's the problem, I haven't been able to track the chip," He stared at the green haired android sitting in the corner and thoughtfully said, "I made some upgrades so it'd be easier for Tama to find it, that's why she hasn't been functioning for the past week or so. Wherever he is, it's somewhere far away."

As if summoned by her name, Tama opened her eyes and started to make those booting up noises that had always disturbed Shinpachi.

Kagura looked up and upon noticing the now functioning robot, launched herself towards her lap, "You know where he is? Please Tama, tell me! Tell me! Tell me!"

The odd noises stopped and Tama looked down to face the pleading Yato on her lap, "The current location of 'Idiot Perm' is universe AU-DC01'94."

The previously hopeful voice of the girl dropped as she processed the information, "The hell is that?"

"Just as I feared," The inventor solemnly said as everyone watched him take a seat next to Tama, "He has crossed over to another anime."

"He has what?!" Shinpachi adjusted his glasses. It was always something new with that moron, "How in the world are we gonna get there?"

As everyone stood still, thinking about what all of this meant, the door abruptly opened, revealing three figures on the other side. Sadaharu stood up and yapped at the familiar figures, "I think we can help with that."

Two figures, both distinguishably different from each other, stood assessing the corridor leading to the murder scene.

Takagi-keiji began to disclose the information he'd previously learned to his boss, "Medical personnel were notified about Yamada-san and were able to quickly get to the scene to administer first aid. Yamada-san was taken to the hospital, his condition remains critical."

The burly man beside him, Megure-keibu, looked around and promptly asked, "Who notified the medical staff?"

"It was me," The two men turned around to meet with a scruffy-looking teen. The inspector recognized the uniform he was wearing as Shinichi's school's uniform.

The kid was the opposite of Shinichi-kun. His silver hair was all over the place and the way he carried himself reminded him of a broke man in his late twenties. He brought a finger up to his face and, with dead-looking eyes, began to pick his nose. Yup, he was the exact opposite.

Takagi-keiji began to look through his notes, and finally finding the page he wanted he stuttered out, "Ahhh, this is Sakata Gintoki, the medical staff said that he ran over and alerted them of a 'serious case of parasitic beast host take over' and to 'come quick before we have another Reiko in our hands'."

Takagi hadn't believed what he heard the first time he interrogated the staff, and he especially doesn't now. He had a lot of questions to ask.

If Takagi had been confused the first time he heard it, Megure-keibu looked baffled. He had to wonder if his boss was thinking that he was just screwing with him, "A-anyways, please come with us so we can interrogate you."

Despite the sour face and initial reluctance to follow them, the teen trailed behind them to the make-shift interrogation room.

'I hope this goes smoothly,' Thought the tall detective as they settled down, 'Megure-keibu seems to have some experience with rebellious teens.'

Megure-keibu stirred in his seat and faced the teen, "Would you mind telling us what you meant when you said those things to the staff?"

The teen looked up and without missing a beat said, "Well, that's why he was thrashing around, right? He was getting possessed by a parasite."

Silence took over the room as Takagi began to wonder if there was a new drug he should be aware of. He made a mental note of searching "parasite" on the police records, "A… what?"

Takagi didn't know what he was expecting, but this was definitely not it. The teen appeared thoughtful until he suddenly burst out, "Oh wait. No, sorry. I was thinking of the wrong Shinichi. Man, and here I thought I was gonna be part of an incredible mashup. Is it really just a one-on-one crossover? How boring..."

Takagi-keiji leaned closer to the inspector and whispered, "Should we call a toxicologist?"

Megure-keibu cleared his throat, and barked out, "Sakata-kun, please take this seriously. According to witness reports, you were chosen to combat against Yamada-san. Did anything strike you as weird during that time?"

"Well, for one they didn't let me go to the restroom. Even tho I was about to crap my pants they insisted on having me on stage…" A cocky smile appeared on the teen's face, "I guess I'm just that irresistible."

Megure decided not to comment on the last bit, "Tell us more about Yamada-san. What was his condition during your match?"

"Let me think," The teen threw his head back, obviously bored by the serious adults in the room, "Hmm… he kept drooling and cleaning his mouth with a handkerchief. I kept thinking 'what a weirdo! I bet this is what Gon-kun feels like whenever he's near that clown!' Man, I should've taught him a lesson and struck him in the balls."

As the two police officers made eye contact and began to have a silent conversation over the validity of the witness, Gintoki noticed a small boy trying to hide behind the crack of the door.

'Oh~? Already working hard I see' He thought to himself as he saw a large figure suddenly picked the boy up by his collar.

"What the hell is a kid doing here?!" The man shouted, catching the attention of the whispering police officers.

"This is no place for a kid to be, go away now. Shoo," The man kept going as he placed the kid down. The other two men stood up and went outside, leaving Gintoki alone. He could hear their harsh voices in between high-pitched 'I'm sorry's.

The officers came back after a few minutes, settling down once again, "We're very sorry, he is always like that. Anyway, where were we?"

...Hi. Hello. I'm sorry about the… very long wait lol. I don't really have an excuse, I just didn't feel like writing. I do feel like I have more motivation during school breaks so… I guess scheduled uploads will be impossible huh?

Anyway, I'm not sure how I'm doing so some feedback would be greatly appreciated! Thank you to everyone still reading too!
