7.- The Doorman
Bouchard's doorman stays calmly, guarding the entrance to St. Aicard's graveyard. A black, bulked thug with gold chains, sunglasses, rings and all, is known for handling the dirty work when needed. This is not the man you'd send for a normal errand, and he doesn't even care to conduct business on Bouchard's back when harmless. But lately, business opportunities have been dwindling. No Bouchard in control, means business for no one. So, extra care is taken for the protection of the boss.
But business is business, so sometimes, he might let it slip. "Where's Bouchard?" Lara Croft asks. "800 euros and the box," answers the doorman. "I think Pierre's handled me a better deal," answers Lara. The woman walks away… She'll surely bypass him jumping through the ledges of the Parisian Ghetto. That seems more like her way. For now, that barrel will keep the door jammed. His job is done. The rest can be handled by his beloved rottweiler.
Half an hour later, he receives a call. It's the boss, Louis Bouchard. "Prepare for business," says Bouchard. "The Monstrum will be targeting the Louvre. Then, the Prague boys will take the torch." "Sure, boss," says the doorman with a certain relief. "Ambush Ms. Croft only if she manages to get out of the Louvre," orders Bouchard. "We don't want to be tied to the Monstrum forever. Business has been hurt more than we expected."
