After 10 years after the match between the King of Games and Atem, Domino City opens the Stadium doors, to give new students a spot to join the prestigious school of Duel Academy island. 8. Chapter 8 - Vacations, Halloween Time

So… How have you guys been? I've been doing well, as always… waking up, eating breakfast, go to work, return tired from work, doing house chores, dinner… and get some free time to write while I do little streams. My next free day will be next Monday btw, so I might be working on these chapters I'm working before posting my next chapter there (or probably sooner 😉)

This episode I wrote is… how should I describe it? You know when you open a candy bag for only sweet candies, and you find a sour one? Yeah, you will be surprised by the taste it will do in your mouth, you might start drooling, lol… I'm not good with jokes btw, I'm sad of myself. This is a "bonus episode", didn't happened on the anime, so I tried to be original. I just hope you enjoy this king of content. Remember the warning lemons I mentioned some time ago? It means you can just read it if you want… or just pass to the finished warning parenthesis. I actually intend to keep writing this kind of content too, for either character development… or else.

6) After so much thinking (even during my work, talking to different people), I came with an idea. A straw poll: democracy will decide if Fonda Fontaine will be, or not, on Jaden harem. If so, I'm thinking on a funny way to put her in 😉. If not, she will still be with someone I have on mind. The time of the straw poll will be within 1 month, because I will also be busy on these early chapters too; so, you writers and readers will be deciders of the story destiny. Just like in Star Wars meme, "I just love Democracy"

8) Power Bond will still be with Syrus, even thou it won't be used on his deck. However, it will be a very important card for this season 😊. The card will be used on the future thou (I don't want to say when, because I would spill too many beans for everyone, and I want to cause suspense in every aspect, ahaha… As for Syrus harem: Dee sisters (including Apprentice Illusion Magician) will OBVIOUSLY be on his harem (they will also have a role on his life 😊), Magi Magi Magician Gall too (still thinking in which season: I'll probably make another strap poll), Magician's Valkyrie it's a probability, I'll need to work on her (a 'no' wouldn't fit this answer… ahahah). But, he will also have a very special duelist on his Harem too, just like Jaden (season 2, thou. And some readers might just not like the pairing between them, but they do forget that... MY Syrus will be different than the real Syrus, capiche?).

9) Dark Magician and Dark Magician Girl are both Mahad and Mana's kas in Egyptian past Millenia. Yes, I know that… that's why there's a story of that past on my story 😉; expect it to happen Season… yeah, I'm spoiling too much beans now. I just want to say is, since this is a fantasy story, let's just say that Dark Magician has his 18 years old, and Dark Magician Girl has 17 (since she's Jaden' big sister). Please go easy on me… I don't know spirituality studies. I'm just a writer, and my logic theories go beyond the human knowledge (trust me on this one) *sweat laugh*

10) I made Dark Magician deck as if he's using Yugi's deck, but ONLY focused on him. I already have the full script of the duel… and maybe it will be for some Dark Magician fans originality 😊. If not, I tried. All I can say is… he won't be using the 'Chaos' cards. I already have someone reserved for those ^^. But I took some of your card ideas to put on my deck, and yes… Eye of Timaeus will also be reserved for someone I know who… As for the summoning types, I just want to say… for now, we have Fusion and Ritual Summon. The others might come, alright? I just love to add different archetypes on my story, ya know?

Guest: I appreciate that idea for the Ritual Spell. Yes, I will make Alexis have use it… It will probably be unique too.

Chapter 8 - Vacations Begin, Halloween Time

In Duel Academy Island, the writing and dueling exams were already over, and the students were now scared for their results. The time waiting was killing some of them, because their ranking was on the line. As for Jaden and Syrus, they were in their room, taking care of their luggage. Jaden has told Syrus that he was going to get some free days from the next week with his step-dad.

"So, what about your plans for this week?" Jaden asked his best friend.

"Eh... I-I actually didn't think about it. I never thought about my future plans for the next days. I'm just a normal student, you know... I always try to get some knowledge from books every day. It's just... I'm also nervous."

Jaden sighed at Syrus comment.

"Sy, I get what you're trying to say... You're nervous for your date with Dee, aren't you?"

"EH? D-Date? Why would I be n-n-nervous about s-something like that? Don't be absurd, B-Big B-Bro!" Syrus was choking on his words, while thinking on Dark Magician Girl smiling at him, while they were walking somewhere; he was imagining his 'first' date.

"Sure... ME, absurd! That's a first time someone ever told me that... I feel hurt, you know?" Jaden said dramatically, with his hands covering his eyes.

"Knowing you from our past days living in the same rooftop, you just like to play around, don't you?" Syrus asked, his bag was now close with all his clothes. "Jeez, Big Bro... You can't stop being a teaser sometimes."

"I do what I can do best: stay around, teasing people like you, bro!" Jaden slapped Syrus back, for Syrus gasping displeased by Jaden's contact.

"Whatever... our grades might be on the Boards of the School Reception. Do you want to take a look at them?" Syrus asked.

"Hm... Probably, I'm already done here with the luggage. I would like to see how far I went with both my scores."

The Slifers left their room, to now walk to the Duel Academy Building. It didn't take them too long the walking, the Duel Spirits got the chance to come from their dimension.

"Well, well. Where are we going now?" Yubel asked to both Slifers.

"Ah, you know... Syrus is so desperate to know how far he did go this morning on the Writing Exam. Right, Sy?" Jaden was now mocking his best friend.

"Speaking of 'morning', that reminds me... nice morning punch you gave me before you woke up. If I see your Writing Exam result being greater than mine... you might not want to know what I'll do to your next waking up method." Syrus decided to play around the Jaden's jokes.

"Wait... I punched you on my sleep?" Jaden asked, a bit worried.

"And what a punch! If you were wearing a box glove, you would break the poor guy' teeth." Yubel laughed imagining that happening.

"I'm just relieved that Syrus didn't ignore you after that. He really cares for you, Jaden. I wouldn't care, 'personally'…", Dee said, defending his summoner.

"Thanks, Dee… and, I'm sorry, Sy… it wasn't intentional. I forgot to tell you that sometimes I have random reactions during my sleep." Jaden tried to apologize.

"I wouldn't be mad at you from the punch… I would be mad, because you MADE me skip my breakfast. I NEVER skipped a breakfast before.", Syrus protested, but then sighed. "You know… don't mind what I've just said. I don't want to ruin our friendship over this."

"I'm happy that you at least are a trustful friend." Jaden said, doing Syrus a gentle neck lock with his arms. "You really are my BEST friend."

"E… EASY THERE! I have a delicate neck!" Syrus was gasping from the struggle, Jaden stopped it. They were now in the reception, where the students were looking at the Score Board. Alexis and Bastion were also there.

"Hey, guys… Came here to see the results?" Jaden asked the other two friends.

"Oh, hey Jaden. And Syrus, obviously… Honestly, you two don't lose from each other." Alexis spoke playfully.

"I already saw my result. It was logical that would be placed on top of the Score Board… Well, I think I won't be the only one being on the top, gentlemen…", Bastion was looking to the two Slifers.

"Then… does that mean-" Syrus decided to speak, Jaden was now looking to the score board.

"Oh My God! Syrus, look… You're on the top 10 best contestants!" Jaden wide-eyed the Score Board. Truth to his word, Syrus was the 10th best duelist of the board.

"I… I AM?!", he was now paralyzed to know the news. He never was a student to have the best grades, so he fast-checked his name. Truth to Jaden's word, his name was there posted, after some Obelisk Blue Students. But then he smiled even more for seeing Jaden's name on the top too: he was the 3rd best student! Bastion had the first-place and Alexis had, of course, the 2nd place. "I'm… I. How can I be in the top score?", Syrus felt expressionless.

"I'm happy for you, Syrus!" Dee was now hugging from behind him, but his summoner was still with his colorless look on his face. This was going too fast for him. It has only been a month… and he was now being one duelist to be chosen to be a challenging duelist.

"Well, we can't blame him… since he learnt from the first-best-duelist… I'm glad he did best than other Obelisks out there." Bastion was now smiling, Syrus looked at him and nodded.

"Aren't you happy for this, Sy?", his best friend asked, with his hands on the hips.

"Yes… It still hard to believe. But still… you DID score more than me, Big Bro! I hope this week-off will make you sleep well. Because after that, I won't forgive you for making me…" Syrus was now starting his speech.

"Easy there, easy… I already apologized, man. Please go easy on me…" Jaden was now acting scared at his friend; his hands were now in front of him to defend himself.

"… I'm kidding. I would never harm you, Big Bro. Remember? I promised you that." Syrus smiled at him. "Anyways, congratulations, Jay. Let's hope we'll keep getting along after the week-off."

"What are you talking about? 'After the week-off'? Sy, you don't want to come with me, to meet my family?" Jaden offered his friend. Now Syrus wasn't expressionless; he had his forced mouth open from the question.

"Yugi and Téa would like to know about their 'daughter' guardian…" Yubel added for Syrus information.

"W-WHAT?" he asked, not believing what he heard from Jaden.

"You mean… Syrus will get to meet Yugi and 'Mum'?" Dee asked with stars on her eyes.

"M…me? Meeting Big Bro's… family. I, I would love to…" Syrus was mumbling, feeling embarrassed to answer that, but he was also nodding his head.

"I know that you won't regret it. This is going to be a sweet time; I'll tell you that!" Jaden was now patting Syrus shoulder.

"Y… yeah, it will!", Syrus grinned happily.

The evening turned into night now, everyone was now on their dorm. Tomorrow would start their week-off, so Jaden and Syrus had to wake up soon, so next day they would be on the boat to return back to Domino City. "Good night, Big Bro.", "Good night, Sy.", the two Slifers wished each other before sleep peacefully.

*On the next day*

The Slifers were now on the boat, after carrying their baggage with them. They weren't alone thou. Bastion said he would also go to Domino Academy, he also had family there that would like to see him again. Alexis was there too, but she didn't group with them. She said she would celebrate the Halloween week-off with her friends. They had plans already, so the girls would have their time to spend with their families.

Jaden was now on his single room inside the boat, Yubel and the three-priestess appeared while he was still laying on his bed. Waking up early made him get tired from fatigue; good thing Syrus was the one to wake him up… again. Yubel was now behind Jaden back, her chest making contact between his head; Mana was in front of him, hugging him with her face on his waist; Cleo and Berenice were in each side of the HERO duelist. In another words, Jaden was being 'sandwiched' by his spirit friends.

"You really wanted to spend time with Alexis, didn't you?", Yubel asked behind Jaden, so she could have fun teasing and leaving Jaden embarrassed.

"N-nooo…" Jaden answered, flipping his head to another side.

"Geez, Jaden can't be so honest, can he?" Mana asked, laughing at Jaden's embarrassment.

"That's Jay for you… he isn't so honest when he's so close to people that gets him attention. He probably holds a crush for her, I'll tell you that." Berenice also started teasing.

"Hmph… even with four spirits looking behind you, you still intend to have another girl to like you, huh? Good for you, 'Casanova'!" Cleo also decided to join the fun, winking at Jaden.

"Hgnh… you girls are the worst!", Jaden said closing his eyes from embarrassment; but he still got a deep kiss from all his spirit lovers. They always did that to him, to make him feel comfortable… Not that he never felt discomfort in front of them.

"And we love you too, our dear Jaden!" they said at same time.

"Yeah, yeah! Me too, but now changing the subject… where's Syrus?" Jaden asked curious.

"Why would you like to care now? Let the boy have fun too…" Yubel said winking.

"Fun? What do you mean 'have fun'? Don't tell me…" Jaden added; the spirits were now laughing silently.

*with Syrus*

He was also on his bed from the morning wake up he did. After they decided they would leave Duel Academy island to get back to Domino City for the days off vacation, they reserved their spots for the boat travelling via-PDA. They would then ask their parents to pay their back-travelling back to the island.

With Syrus, Dark Magician Girl spirit was also there with him. For his big surprise, she was behind him on the bed too, her lap was being treated like a pillow for the bluenette head. Caressing his blue hair that almost matched with her blue vest, Dee felt so peaceful by having a boy so easy-going with her.

Syrus was still insecure on knowing what to do, he was just with his head up, but his eyes closed. Her cleavage was on top of his face, so he didn't want to look it up; Dee would probably hate him, for thinking that he had perverted eyes that only looked at Dark Magician Girl for lewd stuff. He didn't want that to happen.

"So… We're coming close to Domino City, aren't we?" Syrus decided to start his conversation.

"Well, yeah… that's what you and Jaden planned to go on the first place." Dee answered, not stopping the hair caressing.

'Of course, we did… Stupid question in first place. Way to go, Syrus, you idiot!' he looked to his other side, his eyes opened showing an embarrassed look. Probably the way she was caressing his hair was making him lose the processing of his thoughts. But he didn't want her to stop; she could keep doing this forever, he wouldn't mind at all. However, he was still trembling from nervous.

Dee actually took notice at that. "Hey, Sy? Are you perhaps uncomfortable with my caressing? If you want, I can stop…"

"NO! I, I mean… no. I just, you know: not used to have someone… a g-girl to caress my hair. Nobody ever done that before, besides my mum, when I was little. Four, five years ago? Yeah. You being the first one, I'm happy you are my first, Dee!" Syrus was now looking at her happily, ignoring her cleavage in the middle.

"I see… Look, Syrus. I'm still not used to know about your past life. And you don't need to tell me if you don't want to! I just say this, because, you know… I want to know more about you. All I know so far is that you hold a huge heart to love your friends".

"Hum… I could probably tell you now… that I want to at least show you my home first before we go to our meeting on the Monster Realm. Thou I still don't know how I can visit it on the first place."

"You don't need to know about the details of how you go to our Monster Realm. It's all a part of my knowledge of Enchanting Transportation: if we monster spirits hold a powerful bound with our summoner, we can manage to teleport ourselves into our place. But now that you mentioned 'home'… I would love to know the place where you used to live." Dee was feeling excited for Syrus wanting to show her around; he was learning new steps.

"It's… it's nothing special. Just a normal home, a kitchen, a living room, a… a room."

"Still, it's the room where my beloved Syrus lives in." Dee felt relaxed speaking those words freely.

'My beloved Syrus?' the Slifer in question was now in state of confusion. 'C-could it be… she…'. "Hey, Dee… Could it be that you?"

"Hm? Me what?" Dee questioned curious.

"Love me?" Syrus asked unintentional. A silence was now in the middle of them. Syrus just had to say that word… for him it felt like it was 'forbidden' to say. 'GREAT! SHAME ON YOU, STUPID! NOW YOU WILL GET EASILY REJECTED. I HOPE YOU'RE HAPPY!', he felt like saying all that to himself, embarrassed; he wanted to bury his head on a hole now, so nobody would know where he was.

"… I do!", a voice murmured. Again, silence was in the room where they were. Syrus looking at her in the eyes, her cheeks were also red. She just… admitted she loved him. A megaphone audio interrupted their silence.

"ATTENTION ACADEMY STUDENTS, THIS IS YOUR CAPTAIN SPEAKING! WE'RE COMING CLOSE TO OUR DESTINATION: DOMINO CITY! I HOPE YOU ENJOYED OUR KAIBA CORP MARITIME CRUISE! ENJOY YOUR STAYING!"

With that, they were now looking to another side. The message they received made them return from their cloud nine thoughts. A door knock was then heard from his room.

"Hey Syrus, if you're there I just want to tell you that I can now see the Domino City from here, want to take a look?" Jaden voice could be heard.

"… Yeah! I'm going to leave the room now." Syrus said, now leaving the bed. Before he did so, Dee pushed his Slifer jacket, so he could come close to her; and she kissed him again on the cheek, this time the kiss was deeper than before. 'D… D-DEE?', Syrus scream thought.

"I do, and I always will love you, my dear Syrus!" Dark Magician Girl spirit admitted before leaving to her world. Seeing her leave, the bluenette shook his head; and opened his door to leave his room.

"Hey, Sy! Everything good?" Jaden asked him, his back next to the wall next to Syrus room.

"Eh? Ah… yes everything doing WELL!" the mentioned boy answered with a goofy grin stuck on him.

"Hm… Well, glad to hear that. Just like I told you… we're almost at the destination. You better go get your luggage; I already contacted my dad to get us…"

"Yugi will get us? That's… great!"

"Syrus, I ask you again… Are you okay?"

"Yes, I am! Why would you ask me something like that?" Syrus asked, but his face was now feeling hot.

"Because, I sense something wrong with you… What happened?"

"It's… p-private!"

"SY…", Jaden was now getting impatient, he felt like getting angry because his friend was hiding something from him.

"FINE… *sigh* Me and Dee confessed our feelings to each other!" Syrus admitted; too much for Jaden sighing.

"And… how did it go?"

"It… we… Dee accepted my feelings… admitting she… loved me back." Jaden was now smiling. Syrus got to get some courage during this month to at least confessing his love for his crush; he also knew that Dee would like him back.

"I see… so, what were you two love birds doing on my back?"

"We… we were doing our plans for our visit to the monster realm… also, she said she would like to visit my home. Is… that a no?"

"Syrus…"

"It's… it's not what you think! I-I just want to bring my Halloween costume! Just to show her that, before we go to the Monster Realm. I promise… You can also join in, if you want."

"Hugh… I don't mind you staying alone with Dee, Sy. But remember… Do NOT cross that line! I don't want you to take advantage of my sis, while I still am in need to earn your trust. Are we CLEAR?", Jaden asked his best friend.

"Of course, I wouldn't cross the line… I wouldn't even forgive myself if I did so! I… I don't want to take advantage of nothing!"

"Good! Also, are there any other thing you guys did? Our trip took some time…"

"I was resting on my bed, still tired from waking up soon. Dee… she gave me 'company'… by caressing my hair. And… and kissed me, in the cheek, before leaving…"

"Wow, you sure look embarrassed and honest at same time…" Yubel looked at the state Syrus had right now. Jaden laughed at that and nodded.

"S-shut up! I'm not embarrassed…"

"Oh! He is… his red face is so funny!" Mana said, making fun of Syrus too.

"Easy there… if we keep teasing him, he might jump to the water, from how red his face is." Berenice added.

"Ahahaha… it would be funny seeing him doing a race behind the boat in the end." Cleo finished.

"I… I can't swim! I would just drown myself in the same place." Syrus admitted in the end, his head down.

"Oof… Sorry to hear that, bro!" Jaden deadpanned, his hand patting his hair. They finally reached Domino City.

*On the docks*

The boat has now stopped so the Slifers and Bastion could now leave the boat with their luggage, Alexis and their group left later. After they reached Domino City, they kind of missed stepping on their land. There was a difference of weathers in each place, and they could say that they were more used on the weather in Domino City. But still, they would just spend one week-off, then return back.

The group departed, Bastion went one way, where he saw some adults, both with dark-grey hair just like his; they were Bastion parents. Alexis and her friends called a taxi, so they could also go to their destination; but before she could do so, she came close to Jaden, and gave him a piece of paper, and whispered him "Call me…", and with that, she left to her group. Jaden looked at her again, a deep blush with him, and open the piece of folded paper; it was her phone number.

"Eh… Big Bro, going steady with Alexis…", Syrus was goofily smirking at his best friend.

"N-No I'm NOT! What if I did…" Jaden said looking another way.

"Jaden and Alexis… sitting in a tree…" Yubel started singing.

"K-I-S-S-I-N-G!" Syrus added, the three-sorceress laughing.

"First comes love", "Then comes marriage", "Then comes baby in the baby carriage!" they sang in sequence.

"EVERYONE, SHUT UP!" Jaden overreacted, for every other people surprise. They all just stared at Jaden and Syrus with confused looks; Jaden was now more than embarrassed. They thought he was… crazy.

"Sy… when we get alone, you will get some…", Jaden promised with a threatening look.

"Maybe invite Alexis too, she would like to stay alone with you", Syrus smirked, laughing at playing with him.

"Me and Alexis are just friends… we just happened to have a duel together. Why are you insisting on making our relationship even weirder?"

"Maybe because I do care, you're my best friend! I know that you like Alexis, I saw how you always get to look at her in the hallway before we go to our dorm. If she also likes you back… I will help you both get together.", Syrus tried to feel useful for once in show help for his friend.

"… Thanks, Sy; I do appreciate it. But now we have company, save that helping for way later!" Jaden pointed to his friend; Syrus looked in front of him with a surprised look. Yugi Muto, was next to a sports car waiting for Jaden and his friend to join.

"Ah! Jaden, good to see you again.", Yugi said looking at his adopted son. But then he saw someone next him, with an embarrassed look. "And you are…"

"It's Syrus, s-sir Muto. I mean, King of Games! Huh, Mr. Yugi?", Syrus was bowing his head too fast in front of the adult. The one in question only laughed at the kid's reaction.

"It's okay. You can just call me Yugi! After all, you're already Jaden's best friend. And anyone who is my son's friends are my friends too.", he greeted while opening the door of his car; Jaden and Syrus did the same, and the car was now going to their destination: Yugi's house.

"Erm… then, Y-Yugi… my name is Syrus Truesdale. Big Bro… I MEAN, Jay… NO!"

"Just relax, bro! We are civils here. Whatever comes from you, we understand you." Jaden patted Syrus shoulder.

"'Big Bro', huh? He really does treat you like family, doesn't he?" Yugi asked.

"Jay-Big Bro has been the best company I've ever got since I joint Duel Academy. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be like… the person I am right now."

"I see… so, what did you wanted to say, before you left yourself confused?" Yugi asked again the bluenette.

"Ah… I wanted to say that Jaden asked me if I could be attended… I mean, could I be invited to meet your family?" Syrus asked nervously.

"Well, of course! You're welcomed to do so… I also got interested on knowing the new holder of the Dark Magician Girl card copy I sent, isn't that right, Jaden?"

"Ahah… yeah I talked to you by phone last week before Sy's birthday. I really wanted to surprise him, but on his birthday… I almost screwed up." Jaden admitted, with his head down.

"What do you mean, you 'almost screwed up'?"

"Uhm, Yugi… I, I got asked by Jay to get to him to the school room that day, even if it was day-off. I had to bring him some papers for him to give… that's where I found the Dark Magician Girl card. However, during my run to go to Big Bro spot… a ruffian clashed against me, and… he challenged me on a duel, to try steal Dark Magician Girl card from me!" Syrus explained his full story summary to Yugi, Jaden was patting his shoulder; what was in the past was in the past.

"To think that people like that exist in this world… it disgusts me! So, you won that duel, Syrus?" Yugi asked him personally.

"… Yes, I did, miraculously! I somehow got to have a set of my old cards that somehow became new. It's like they are still my 'Roids', but now they are now 'Magicians'. And for my experience using the deck, I think I can still get stronger and stronger… it was all thanks to Dark Magician Girl, sir."

"So, you're saying… that Dark Magician Girl spirit helped you, and for that, she made it so your Roid monsters would become sorcerers just like her…", Yugi asked, Syrus just nodded in confirmation. The adult just smiled for that.

"Well, changing the topic. Jaden, how did you meet Syrus? Was it from Duel Academy island when you met and became roommates?"

"No, we actually met each other during the exam entry. I saw him next to me, during a duel that was occurring, before mine. When I saw Sy for the first time, I thought he was a shy guy. But he was just anxious, and a real emotional guy; I enjoyed my time talking with him. We became friends during that day. Next, roommates living in the same dorm and room. And now I just look at him like he is my second brother, right Sy?" Jaden was now rubbing Syrus hair playfully with his hands, while the one in question was feeling really flattered.

"Well, it was a good introduction. Once again, a pleasure to meet you, Syrus Truesdale. I also got interested to know about your surname. Are you related to Marcus Truesdale,the one who was a machine builder lover?" Yugi asked, they were now at door of their room.

"Yes… he was, my grandpa. It was him who made me like my Roid monsters in the first place. He also gave me this Spell Card." Syrus said, taking a card from his deck to show it to Yugi. Syrus still held it dearly; despise not use it during his dueling.

"Ah… Power Bond! I know about this super rare card. A real nice card from its effect, but also with a restriction in the end. "Well, Syrus… Welcome to the Muto Mansion! Feel yourself at home." Yugi opened the door to their home.

Syrus got inside, a fresh air gave him some chills on his spine. He wasn't used to live in fresh rooms… also because nobody ever invited him before. He walked over the home, the living room, kitchen; everything looked so clean and casual. It was like it got remodeled to classy people.

"It's good to be back!" Yubel appeared next to Jaden, her arms stretching from the satisfaction of being back to her and Jaden's home.

"Ah, the nostalgic fresh air is back… Thou were at Autumn and it's getting cold. Glad I brought all my jackets for it." Jaden added, now putting his luggage upstairs on his room. Syrus was now alone walking around the house, while Yugi was on the phone talking to someone.

"So… do you enjoy your staying?", a familiar female voice asked next to Syrus.

"D, Dee… don't scare me like that! And yes… it looks nice and peaceful in here. What can I say? It's a home where you could live and enjoy every day of it." Syrus answered, looking everywhere.

"Your place isn't like this?", Dark Magician Girl asked curiously.

"It's not so lively like this one. But if you want to, I can show it to you now…", Syrus offered. "However, I live far from here; so, I don't know if asking Yugi to drive us there would be nice of me."

"What 'would be nice' to ask me for?" Yugi asked at Syrus, now with eyes looking at him, curious. "And I see you're now with Dark Magician Girl, that eases things up…", the mentioned Dee waved back at Yugi.

"Ah, Yugi… I have… Halloween is coming closer, and… Halloween costume… is in my room." Syrus tried to explain, but Dee intervened.

"What my Syrus is trying to say is that he has a Halloween costume on his home, inside his room. He needed that you would take him a drive so he could bring it."

"And let me guess… you want to invite HIM to the Monster Realm, am I wrong? It's been the 3rd time last year you tried to ask Jaden, but he kept saying 'no'… instead you're going to take him with you." Yugi crossed his arms, with a smile that then turned into a serious look. "And if I heard correctly just now… you just said, 'your Syrus'? What's the relationship between you two?" the question was more focused on Syrus than Dee.

"Eh? Uh… I first saw Dee, I mean… Dark Magician Girl, like a friend to me. Before we had our writing and duel exam yesterday, I had her company to study with me. I never harmed her, ever; And I never took advantage of her. I simply enjoyed every day of company she did to me, Yugi. If I had to admit, ever since I've been with her during this last month… I, I… I've been feeling loved by her. No… I love Dee! These are my true feelings." Yugi listened at everything Syrus explained. "Hm… very well!", then Yugi looked at Dark Magician Girl, "Dee! I hope that you taking care of him haven't made you skip the Spell Training class with your tutor, right?"

"Nope! I have been training every day ever since I got to meet my Summoner's friends. They are really helpful… They've been also teaching me new improvements on Syrus deck. I'm really glad to have them by my side!"

"That's good to hear!", another voice, unknown for Syrus, but familiar to Dark Magician Girl, could be heard in the room. An adult magician wearing his purple sorcerer robes, holding his scepter, appeared on the living room; where the group was there talking.

"Ah… Master, you're here!" Dee called happily, almost feeling that she missed him. Syrus looked at the new spirit, the tall sorcerer looking at him with a serious look; while the boy was gasping inside for meeting him, the Dark Magician.

"So… you're the new holder… and the fact that you can see me, it means that Dee did a pact with you! So, I guess I should introduce myself: the name's Dark Magician. What's your name, kid?", the male sorcerer asked.

"Syrus… Truesdale, sir. It's an honor get to finally talk to both the King of Games and his Ace Monster at same time. I have no words to describe how happy I am!", the boy simply bowed his head in front of the sorcerer.

"Hmph… don't get your hopes yet, kid. I still didn't admit that you're a good holder of Dark Magician Girl. I have been instructing her in my personal Spell Training for all this time. I will personally judge if you have the resolves to be her new 'instructor'."

"Come on, my companion… Syrus is here invited to get some vacations. Don't go corner the poor boy here. He wanted to celebrate the Halloween here with his crush…", Yugi decided to help in the conversation. However…

"His 'crush'? My summoner, this is a serious matter! Our world and yours could be in danger in anytime, anywhere… If I don't get to know nothing about him beforehand, we'll be doomed…", Dark Magician was now reasoning with his sense.

"I'll accept it…", Syrus mumbled.

"Huh? What did you say, Sy?" Dee asked him curious.

"I'll ACCEPT… your challenge, Dark Magician! If it means saving my friends who I hold dear, I'll do it… with the best I have!", Syrus now looked with his most serious eyes at the male sorcerer. He only looked at him back at his grey eyes. It showed bright in it.

'The kid is serious about it… Very well!', Dark Magician hide smiled to himself. "Our challenge will begin inside 2 months! My disciple will get to know the exact time and location. Don't get late, you heard me? You better be prepared in meantime!"

"Y… Sir, YES, Sir!", Syrus shouted with a salute, Yugi nodding proudly and Dark Magician turning his back with a smile and leaving to his training room in the Monster Realm. Yugi decided to change the topic.

"So, Syrus… What was it that you needed from me?", Syrus now gave attention at Yugi.

"Ah! My Halloween costume. I wanted… to show everyone my costume. Even during the times I celebrated Halloween alone, I still left home to get some candies… but it wasn't that much of fun. The other groups sometimes frighted me…" Syrus sweat smiled.

"Oh, oh… so you wanted to show your love bird your costume in the first place. You want me to take you a ride to your home?"

"Y-yes, Yugi! Please…", Syrus begged the adult; the one in question nodding back, they were now leaving to the hallway entry so they were now leaving home. With that, Jaden was now the only one inside the house…

*with Syrus*

Syrus was giving directions to Yugi to where his home was. They took some time to get there, some people were waving at the owner of the car; Syrus was seeing how Yugi just waved back natural.

"Must be good… to have other people to like you back, Yugi?" Syrus decided to speak from his silence.

"Do you think that? I only show to other duelists around the city how much I like dueling. These people that are just my fans… I don't give them too much attention. I only care for the real friends I hold dear; my family and home."

"Hum… Mr. Yugi. Can I ask you something?"

"Call me just Yugi, were civilians here now! And what is it, Syrus?"

"Am I… am I a close friend to you?", he asked, so Yugi could now laugh at him.

"I only met you just a while ago… look, just because I said you were Jaden's friend you were also my friend, I still don't know you the fullest. Let's take our time, and patience might answer your question in time."

"Yeah… sorry, forget what I asked…" Syrus answered, now looking in front of him. "Ah… that's my home." The car stopped, so the boy could open his door; Dee spirit appeared again from behind Syrus, looking at the mansion. His house wasn't so big compared to Yugi's, but what was inside it was what mattered.

The bluenette grabbed his wallet, and took some keys from it. Whenever he was, inside his wallet he always had his home keys; he inserted the keys in the door knob, looking behind him.

"Don't you want to come inside, Yugi?" Syrus asked the adult.

"I don't want to disturb your moment, you two love birds checking the 'nest' where you live. Just don't take too long. We have lunch and dinner to eat today…" Yugi answered, now picking his phone, to call his wife where he was.

*inside Syrus home*

"So, this is where you live?" Dee looked around the house, Syrus turning on his lights. It wasn't as casual as Yugi's house, but it was clean. In the hallway, she got to see some images stuck in the wall, one that gave her full attention. "Awe… so CUTE! Is that you Syrus?" she pointed to a light-blue haired kid, he looked like he had 6 years old; he had a happy look on his face.

"Yeah, that's me… Say, want to go to my room to see my costume?"

"I'll be there in a bit… hey Sy… Who's this dark-blue hair kid?" Dee now pointed to another boy from the image.

"Dee… want to come to my room… to see my costume?" Syrus was murmuring those words to himself, Dee listening to him and gave him attention. She hold on his hand, and looked at his face… he was anxious, trembling from his hand.

"Let's go to your room. I would love to see it." Dee said, Syrus was now with a hide smile and nodded, leading their way to go to his room. Inside it, it wasn't too open, but for them, it was just another room to sleep by. "Ah… this is where you sleep! It brings… a nostalgic air in it.", Dark Magician Girl was looking everywhere in the room, while Syrus went to his closet.

"Y-yeah… it's nothing much! This room is where I always slept. I can't find the best words to describe my room. I just… you know, used to stay here most of the time.", he picked his Halloween costume, now showing it to Dee, "And there it is… what do you think?"

"Syrus, you want to be… a skeleton for Halloween? It actually fits you well…" Dee said cheerfully at him, looking at a dark vest with white drawing bones in it. It really made it fit for Syrus too, because of his… body always be so small.

"You think so? I'm happy… it's the first time someone ever complimented my costume. Thanks!"

"Aren't you going to wear it?"

"I want to do it tomorrow. I don't like to wear it before Halloween day. Let's go now? Yugi must be worried about us now…", Syrus asked, Dark Magician Girl nodding at him with a smile.

They now left his home, Dee looking once again at the image of Syrus smiling and the other boy… she needed to know later. Yugi was there next to his car, turned his attention back at Syrus holding his crumpled costume between his arms, and Dee at the door.

"Ready to go back?", Yugi asked, Syrus nodded at him for confirmation.

*at evening, inside Muto's house*

Jaden, Syrus, Yugi and Téa were now gathered in the living room, eating their lunch. The boys started talking about their days at Duel Academy island, and how it ended with Syrus telling how Jaden met a certain Obelisk blondie… at that part, both Yugi and Téa decided to join the chatting.

"Eh? Jaden has someone he likes in the island?" Téa asked amused.

"I already told you, Syrus. We are just duel-friends… We don't have any preferences for each other! I don't know how many times I can repeat you that." Jaden told his friend, but his face was telling otherwise.

"Sure, you can keep hiding the fact you like her... But wasn't it you who asked her in the first place if she felt in love in you at the first sight? Or that 'hand-holding' request you asked her in my birthday?" Syrus smirked playfully.

"Syrus… you're dead meat today!"

"That's what friends are for…" Syrus grinned him back.

And that's how an evening turned to night, after dinner, Jaden and Syrus were now in Jaden's room.

"Feel yourself comfortable here. You can sleep over an extra-futon I have there in my closet.", but Syrus however was worried about something else.

"Is it me… or I feel something… out of place?", the bluenette asked.

"Oh! So, it wasn't just you? I felt the same thing…", Dark Magician Girl was next to them, with her hands on the chest.

'Oh SHIT! I forgot…!' Jaden was wide-eyeing the sheets. He grabbed them fast and left the room. "Uhm… guys, I have some business to take care off. You can stay there for a bit until I'm done with this… thing.", and with those last words, he went downstairs with his sheets folded stuck on his arms.

"Okay… that was weird!", Syrus murmured.

"Hey, Syrus… can we talk?", the female sorceress asked.

"Sure… what's in your mind?", Syrus asked smiling for having Dee to talk alone with him.

"That picture… I saw on the hallway. Who was that dark-blue boy smiling?", Syrus listened to her question, his smiled face turned into an unhappy one.

'I knew she wouldn't forget it so easily… But this soon', Syrus thought with his eyes closed, then sighed. "He's… an acquaintance of mine. Don't mind it."

"Are you sure? You frowned just now when I mentioned him…"

"It's… from my past. I don't feel comfortable talking about it."

"Syrus… I just want to at least know his name; you don't mind tell me?" Dark Magician Girl was now grasping on his summoner's hands, with a pleading face looking at his eyes. Her eyes were ones that Syrus didn't want to say 'No!'

"Zane…", that's what Syrus murmured. "Zane?", Dee asked back

"Yes… his name is Zane. I knew him when I was little. But then, I never saw him again.", Syrus explained, now looking to the other side.

"Was he a childhood friend?", Dee asked curiously, Syrus almost spurted at hear that.

"Y-yeah, kind of a childhood 'friend'…", Syrus gave some effort of saying the word 'friend', mentioning… HIM.

"I think that's a good thing for you, Sy… At least you didn't get so alone during your past life, right?" Dee asked him cheerfully, hugging his waist for some comfort. His summoner looked back at her, a blush coming to him instinctively. But he didn't want to think about that topic anymore. A voice appeared at the room entry…

"I'm sorry I took so long… and what do I find here? Sis and Sy… is it me, or did the room turned up the heat so fast?" Jaden came to his room, and started smirking at the sight he was looking at. Syrus looked at him with an embarrassed face, by seeing him looking at him and Dee sitting on Jaden's bed. Before he was the one joking about Jaden's relationship with Alexis. But this time, Jaden was the one with the last laughing. "Karma is a bitch, pal! Don't forget that…" Jaden winked him.

"Oh, bite me with that comment. You're the last person I want to hear that… What were you doing besides cleaning the sheets? Calling Alexis from her folded number?" Syrus smirked back at Jaden.

"You seriously won't stop with that, will you?", he asked, but then he actually gulped to himself. Truth to Syrus words, he actually took some time in the bathroom contacting Alexis while the machine was cleaning his sheets. Yubel appeared from behind Jaden, coughing so both the boys could now look at her.

"Anyways… it's time to sleep. We have a special day tomorrow. Syrus will get to hang out with Dee in their date; Jaden, we… we'll celebrate our Halloween here in Domino City.", the guys nodded to each other, Syrus got up from Jaden bed, get his futon from the closet to put on the ground. Dee yawned too, giving Syrus one last kiss on his cheek before leaving; Yubel gave Jaden one fast kiss, without the bluenette taking notice… we would find out eventually.

The boys were now in their beds, lights off on the room; their eyes were now closing for another day over from their vacations. "Good night, Sy.", "Good night, Big Bro.", they wished each other.

*the next day*

The sky was really cloudy. On the streets, the sound of the traffic was the only thing they could hear. But it was still morning, so everything was calm in Duel Academy streets. Since it was vacations for both Jaden and Syrus, the bluenette didn't dare to bring his alarm with him. Only for school days, he wouldn't have any other exceptions. Except, that another sound spread over the room…

'IT'S TIME TO DU-DU-DUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUDUDU…'

And a hand slapped the alarm, Syrus eyes turned up, waking up from listening the alarm.

"Hmm… Good morning, Sy!", Jaden yawned, while extending his arms up the air, lazing them.

"Huh… Morning, Big Bro… and what's with the alarm? First thing we do for morning wake-up is a duel? Give me a break, you just scared me!", Syrus deadpanned, Jaden laughed at him for his joke.

"You know what they say: 'who runs for pleasure, do not get tired'… my love for dueling is what makes me wake up healthy every morning."

'Of course, it would, Big Bro…', Syrus only had a neutral face looking at him. "Anyways, I need to get myself ready…" he left the room, carrying his costume to the bathroom.

"That reminds me… what are you dressed for?", Jaden asked curiously.

"A skeleton… how about you?", Syrus asked him back before leaving the room.

"Hm… maybe one of my costumes… should I go as a skeleton just like you, so we matched?", Jaden asked him jokingly, his friend sighing from his friend bad joke. "I'm just kidding, I will go dressed as a horror character, called Jason Voorhees… I already had Yubel and the priestess to style me for this costume…"

"Who is Jason Voorhees?", his friend asked with confused look.

"You've never seen Friday the 13th? That horror movie is so great!", Syrus looked at him, with an expressionless look.

"I never watched horror movies, but good to know you like them… Tell me how did it go later." Syrus smiled at his friend.

"Enjoy your date with sis, Sy! Maybe I should nickname you two, 'Sis-Sy'! Or probably 'Dee-Syrus'… get it? Desires?", Jaden goofily winked at him.

"Big Bro… you're getting worse and worse with your jokes. Just stop!", those were Syrus last words before he leaving the room.

*with Syrus*

Syrus was in bathroom, dressed with his Halloween costume. It still fit him perfectly, like it did 3 years ago. He looked back at the bathroom mirror, but he couldn't find any compliment at what he was wearing; it was just the same thing he wore before, nothing changed on him.

Behind him, some arms with gauntlets hugged him, Syrus now blushing deeply from knowing to who belonged.

"Eh… I knew it would fit you perfectly, Sy.", Dee said with her face closed to his. "You should've just dressed it yesterday, but it doesn't really matter now… Are you ready to go now?"

"Wait, we're going to be transported from here? And we won't tell anyone else?"

"Don't worry about that… Yugi and Téa already know about our leaving. Jaden isn't bothered anymore, since he will have his time with his friends too.", Dee mentioned and chanted, so her wand was now on her hand.

"Oh… okay then. Let's… go then.", Syrus said with a grin.

"Then let's do this!", Dee held a deep breath and lift up her wand. "Spell Activate: Enchanted Teleportation!" and with that, a magical circle formed between them, a light brighten between them. Syrus closed his eyes for 5 seconds, when he then felt something different. "Are you okay, Syrus?"

"Hum… Are we there now?", the boy opened back his eyes, to see that they weren't in the bathroom where they were before. The room actually had a bed in front of them, the door behind them; some books were on a shelter on Syrus right side, a wall mirror on his left side.

"This is… my room. Is it weird?", she asked embarrassed from inviting his crush on her room the first time.

"N… no. Actually, it feels cozy here. I actually… never got inside a girl room before. I should be happy for you inviting me; thanks, Dee!", Syrus answered with a grin, but was also blushing. 'Why am I feeling so anxious right now? I knew we would be alone in our visit for Halloween… BUT WE'RE ALONE IN A ROOM… Just calm down, calm down…'

Syrus shook his head to ignore his anxiety, only to ask his crush. "Hey, Dee… I was thinking, if this is your room, then outside is where other duel spirits walk… in the Monster Realm, right?"

"If you're wondering if this is really the Monster Realm you were so curious about… yes, we're in it already. However, I would recommend you to stay around me. You don't want to get lost in this world, do you?" Dee winked at him. "But also, that's not the only reason why I invited you here…"

"There's… more than the walking?"

"I actually wanted to show you my Halloween costume, Syrus." Dee answered him, blushing. She started swinging her wand around here, her costume shinning into a pink light. After some time, the pink sprinkles left her costume, and Syrus got to look at it.

Her costume was quite the same, but instead of her blue and pink colors on her vests, it was now black and orange respectively. The gem on her robe that was supposed to have the 'hexagram' symbol was now a pumpkin smiling; the same thing for the spiral stuck on her two-part sorcerer hat. Her wand was also matching her costume; the top spiral became a small pumpkin.

"Dee, you look… stunning.", Syrus gulped on his words; the sorceress had a pumpkin basket on her other free hand, and looked at him with a wink.

"Trick or Treat, my Syrus?"

"Er… wow, I'm out of words. I was supposed to give candies if I had… but I found someone sweeter in front of me, right?", the boy looked to another side, the girl smirking at his embarrassment.

"This is only my first costume to show you, you will be surprised in the next one… thou I don't intend to show you now. We're wasting time here. Now, now… we need to make you meet the Monster Realm, so let me be your tour guide…", Dee took his hand so they could walk out of home.

'Eh? Her contact… feels so real! I can feel her real touch over my costume!' Syrus thought to himself, with a grin. 'Monster Realm is AWESOME!'

Outside home, the Monster Realm Syrus thought, about being a place where every monster would face each other to see who was the strongest; was actually a peaceful place. From all duel spirit cards he could think about, they were dressed in their Halloween costumes: all spellcasters turned themselves into witches, the warriors were disguised into villains (they didn't take the costume too serious thou…), the fairies were now fallen angels, etc. Just like Dee said last week, the monsters respected the Halloween culture; Syrus felt like he was back to his world, but there he could now have more fun with his company.

"I'll take that you are disguised into a witch, huh… Dee?"

"You could call me that, or just Trick Magician Girl. You want to know why?", she asked challengingly.

"I rather not…", Dee started laughing and took him for their detour… their date alone.

From every place they visited, the street ornaments were diverse: it was either electricity poles or poles with candles on top; pumpkin-like creatures were hovering everywhere or were on the ground to be an ornament; witch potions or white capes with holes were in each house they passed by. Syrus and Dark Magician Girl were having a lot of fun from walking everywhere.

After some walking, they found another walkway, where a lot of monsters were now going over there.

"Hey Syrus, want to go there? It seems like lots of fun stuff there."

"I want to go to anywhere you want, I just want to stay with you…", Dee smiled, kissing his cheek; they decided to go to that walkway. Luckily for the other monsters around, they didn't feel suspicious Syrus wasn't part of the Monster Realm. Maybe it was because of his Halloween Costume he was wearing. The two looked in front of them, to see a werewolf holding a microphone.

"AND NOW, MONSTERS OF EVERY CLASS, I INVITE YOU TO OUR TRICK OR TREAT SPECIAL EVENT… THE GHOSTS AND PUMPKIN HUNTING IS ABOUT TO BEGIN! WHOEVER GETS THE MOST GHOST AND PUMPKIN CANDIES ON THE GROUND IS THE VICTORIOUS!", that's what the wolf said.

"Ah… it's the same event we do every year! This will be lots of fun, right Sy?"

"Eh? Ah yeah, but I don't have a basket to carry the candies…"

"Don't worry, I'll share mine with you. If we win, I'll share the prize with you! What do you say?", Dee asked him with a beamed look.

"I… I'M GOING TO DO MY BEST!", Syrus shouted, with his head and fists up.

"LET THE HUNTING… BEGIN NOW!", and with those last words, everyone started spreading everywhere where they could find the ghost and pumpkin candies. Luckily, they were in little plastic bags on the ground, so it would still be edible.

Everywhere Dee and Syrus were around, they always got to put the candies on her basket. Their hunting was going so well, when Syrus clashed his hair… against a succubus.

"Oof! I'm so sorry, I didn't see you? Are you okay?" Syrus asked, picking the plastic bag first and then went close to the falling girl.

"Ouch… No, I'm not fine! You clashed your head against mine, it hurt so much! And… HEY, that candy is MINE!", the succubus pointed at the boy. She looked having the same height like Syrus, her hair was red, she had black devil wings and tail with a heart in her end. She was wearing a pink hat with two ends colored in black, they looked like horns; She was also holding on a pillow with a bat picture on it. She was wearing a red nightgown and a black jacket; white thigh-socks with black boots.

"I'm sorry to tell you, but we found the candy first." Dee said, looking at the succubus. Everyone was now looking at them. Something wrong was about to happen.

"Will you give the candy or not, you brute?", the succubus asked once again, but this time it looked like a threat.

"I… I can't give you. Me and Dark Magician Girl are doing this for the fun of it. We don't want to cause any confusions over this event."

"… It can't be helped. If you don't want to give me that candy the easy way, you will give it the hard way. I'll challenge you, you brute!"

"C-challenge me? F-for what?"

"A duel, of course… the winner will take the losers candies from this event. What will it be; will you accept or chicken out?", the succubus asked, a duel disk magically appeared on her arm.

"But… I didn't bring my duel disk, I can't duel…", Syrus murmured worried; if he couldn't duel, he would lose by default. Dark Magician Girl appeared next to him, with her wand pointing his left arm.

"In moments like this one, that's why I'm here…", Dee winked at him, her wand touched it slightly; his duel disk appeared, with Syrus deck inside it, being shuffled automatically. "Go get them, my summoner!"

"So, I'll ask your name, kid…", the girl asked to the boy.

"… Syrus Truesdale! I'll accept your challenge."

"Syrus… Truesdale? Kid, are you perhaps… a human?", the succubus asked with her eyebrows raised.

'Oh crap! They noticed… What do I do?' Syrus asked now worried, "I… huh… actually."

"He is someone I was held responsible to tour him around the Monster Realm. Yes… he is a human. But I was the one asking him to come over here. So, we'll make a deal. If my Syrus loses this duel, not only he will give you the candies, but he won't get to be invited to Monster Realm.", this time Syrus wide eyed at Dee.

"Dee… what are you doing?"

"I'm sorry Syrus, but I forgot to tell you this: if some duel spirit finds out a human is invited to this world, he would get severely punished by it. But since you were accompanied by me… you are under my responsibility. That's why I will get punished in your place for inviting you, but you won't get to be here… again."

Syrus looked at Dee, she was with a displeased look on her face. It was their first date, a day they agreed to have fun; when then an event occurred that would make their time together ruined. Syrus felt an anger living inside him… he didn't want to lose. No… he WON'T lose this duel. He was now facing his opponent with his real-serious eyes behind his glasses.

"I'll DUEL you, accepting my PUNISHMENT, succubus! Don't put Dark Magician Girl on this case… It's time to duel!"

"Very well, let's do this… human. You should be thankful, you're going to face me, Ghostrick Socuteboss! I can't wait to let you have a taste my own punishment service!", Socuteboss declared, licking her lips.

"DUEL!" they declared, their duel disks being turned on.

Round 1 – Syrus (S): 4000LP; Ghostrick Socuteboss (GS): 4000LP

"I'll start first, human… It's my turn! Card draw…", Socuteboss drew her card. "I'll start things with my Continuous Spell, Call of the Mummy, and I'll activate its effect: once per turn, if I control no monsters, I can special summon a Zombie-Type monster from my hand; I Special Summon Ghostrick Yeti, in defense mode!", on her side of the field, the spell started shinning so a monster could appear on her side of the field. Like the name mentioned, a big strong yeti with his yellow eyes was cuddling a little white bird peacefully (ATK: 300 / DEF: 2000).

"I'm also activating the Continuous Spell, Pyramid of Wonders: my Zombie-Type monsters will gain 200 ATK points for each monster you control; since you still control none, this effect won't be applied. However, I'll be using Yeti's effect: once per turn, I can flip him face-down. Do your thing, my servant!", Socuteboss ordered his monster, the yeti flipped his own card to be face-down again. "I'll also set a card face-down before ending my turn!"

Round 2 – S: 4000LP; GS: 4000LP

"It's my turn! Draw! And I think I will start things defensively! I'll set this monster face-down and a card face-down. I'll end my turn.", on Syrus field appeared a monster card face-down and a card face-down on his Spell/Trap zone.

Round 3 – S: 4000LP; GS: 4000LP

"Tehee… you call that a turn? It's my turn then…", the succubus drew her card. "Let me invite you to a new stage, the stage that you'll meet my friendly servants; I activate my Field Spell, Ghostrick Mansion!", she inserted her card on the field spell. The holograms in the middle of them showed a living room of a big mansion; it looked like it was abandoned, because there were spider webs on the walls and on the artifacts everywhere.

"Okay, this sounds mysterious…", Syrus was looking around the holograms, because other monsters were looking at him… were they trying to scare him?

"And it will get more mysterious, once I flip-summon my Yeti. And since Pyramids of Wonders is on the field, and you control one monster, my Yeti gains 200 ATK points, since he's a Zombie-Type!", the Yeti fell himself get an aura over him, feeling a little stronger (ATK: 300 – 500 / DEF: 2000).

"And next I summon my Ghostrick Witch!", the succubus declared, and next to the yeti, a blonde witch with dark vests was holding a broom, while holding her hat (ATK: 1200 / DEF: 200).

'Why do these Ghostricks have to look so… cute. No wait, bad Syrus… you should only have your eyes for Dee… but still. I have a bad feeling about this.', Syrus was looking at her opponent's monsters, the succubus smirking back at him.

"You're probably wondering why my servants are staring strongly at you, human… And you should wonder even more. Because due to my Mansion, none of the face-down monsters can't be attacked. That's why I'm going to attack you directly with my monsters. Battle! Ghostrick yeti, I order you to attack!", the gentle yeti picked a small toy that was around the room, and threw it to Syrus, not so strongly. Syrus actually felt the toy contact. (S: 4000 – 3500).

"Ghostrick Witch, attack the human directly; 'Shadow Sorcery'!", the witch formed a circle with her hands, so an orb was now between them. She then released her arms together; a beam flew straight to Syrus spot, he was protecting himself from the attack (S: 3500 – 2300).

"Ka-hahaha, that will teach you to not mess with me, you brute! If only you gave me the candy, we wouldn't be in this kind of trouble. But now you will lose, and just like you promised, you will get punished!", the succubus started laughing at Syrus.

"I, won't, lose! Not when I have my friends to help me!"

"Hmph… fine, be that way; it's more entertaining seeing you try to pass through my ultimate combo! I activate both my yeti and witch's effects: once per turn, I can flip those cards face-down again. I end my turn! Make yours count this time."

Round 3 – S: 2300LP; GS: 4000LP

"I won't lose this… It's MY turn!" Syrus drew his card and nodded, "I activate my Spell Card, Graceful Charity: I'll draw 3 cards from my deck, and discard 2 cards to my graveyard!" Syrus picked his cards and discarded his two cards from his hand.

"Now I activate the Spell Card, Monster Reborn: I can Special Summon a monster in either graveyard; I Special Summon Jet Magician, one monster that I sent from Charity's, from my Graveyard!", Syrus picked his card from the graveyard and inserted in the duel-disk; the red cloaked magician with his jet wings appeared on his side of the field (ATK: 1200 / DEF: 1800).

"Well then, I guess I can play this card into that Spell activation, I activate my Trap Card, Zombie's Jewel: since your Spell was sent to your graveyard, I can add it to my hand. But if I do so, you can draw a card; you should be thankful.", the succubus smirked at Syrus, he drawing his additional card.

"Well, I now activate my Jet Magician' effect: since he was Special Summoned, I can add a 'Mystical Machine' or 'Technomancy' Spell or Trap from my deck to my hand. And I think I'll activate it right now; I'll activate the Field Spell, Mystical Machine – Hyper Lybrary: when activated, I can add a Level 6 or lower 'Magician' monster to my hand." Syrus inserted his field spell to his Field Spell Zone, while also adding an additional card to his hand due to its effect. Since a new Field Spell was inserted to the field, Ghostrick Mansion was now destroyed.

"My mansion… How DARE YOU?!", the succubus hissed at the bluenette.

"Well… my turn is not done yet! I now flip-summon my face-down monster, it's my Concrete Magician!", the card got revealed to show a blonde-and-black haired magician with green cloaks and light green robes. With dark gloves, he was holding an old scepter in one of them; his boots were also black color, they were covered in a white liquid paste. (ATK: 0 / DEF: 2200)

"And now I activate Concrete Magician' effect: once per turn, I can tribute another 'Magician' on my side of the field, so I can special summon a 'Magician' monster from my deck with the same attribute; I'll tribute my Jet Magician, a WIND monster. So, from my deck I can special a new friend; I Special Summon Heli Magician!", Syrus female sorceress appeared on his side of the field, with her wand ready (ATK: 1000 / DEF: 1000).

"The preparations are ready! I'll tribute my Concrete Magician to tribute summon my one and only, the heroine for you and I, level 6, Dark Magician Girl!", Syrus inserted his card on the field. For his surprise, he saw Dee from her Halloween costume now changing into her normal vests, appearing to his side of the field. "Dee, what… why are you joining?", Syrus asked her curious, Dee turned her head to talk telepathically.

'I will always protect you, my dear Syrus. Remember what I told you last month? I'll save you from the deepest problems you'll ever face. Because you're not weak, neither lonely! I will be your strength; I'll be your company!', she then smiled back to her front. "Now… let's win this, my summoner!"

"… Right, let's. I will send my Dark Magician Girl with my Heli Magician to the graveyard. By doing so, I can Fusion Summon a Fusion Monster that lists both monsters as Fusion Materials!", Syrus informed picking his cards.

"I-Impossible! A non-Polymerization F-fusion Monster?", the Socuteboss was trembling with fear, looking at Syrus confident look. 'Just… who is this kid? What's with his power.'

Dee and Heli nodded at each other, their wands colliding to each other, a 'BAM' sound being formed, while Syrus sent the cards to the graveyard. "'Disciple of Dark Magic, break the basic knowledges of Science… and fuse yourself in a windy tornado that will guide to a new discovery'! I Fusion Summon! My Level 8, Heli-Storm Magician Girl!".

Heli Magician transformed herself into a vortex that was now rolling over Dee; her clothes didn't change too much, but her she could feel herself get more… feminine. She was still wearing her blue jumpsuit, however the pink lines changed to silver ones. The same happening for her hat, being now blue and silver circles; but it was now pointing up, like her master. Her wand, being now a larger scepter, had now two helices on each side of the yellow spiral, rolling on different sides; from behind the scepter, it was an air vacuum. On the gem in her waist, showed the 'gear' symbol between the 'hexagram' symbol. (ATK: 2600 / DEF: 2300)

"Now I'll activate HeliStorm' effect: once per turn, she can destroy one monster you control, Miss Sucuteboss", Syrus smiled and winked at her.

'Did this human just call me 'Miss'?' the succubus asked herself, her Yeti monster face-down being destroyed due to HeliStorm effect.

"And now I'll equip my HeliStorm Magician Girl with my Equip Spell, New Tomes of Technomancy Vol 1! Now if my 'Magician' destroys your monster, she can attack once again." Syrus explained, the succubus gasping at realization.

"And now, let's Battle! HeliStorm Magician Girl, attack the face-down, will you? Soar your 'Twin Storm Blast'!", the mentioned Magician held her scepter back up, the helices working in different poles; she then started shaking her scepter, until two cyclones got formed to go straight to the face-down monster, get easily destroyed by it.

"And now I'll activate the New Tomes of Technomancy Equip Spell' effect: HeliStorm can attack again; HeliStorm, attack Sucuteboss directly!", HeliStorm repeated the same attack, but this time it went straight to the succubus Life Points; she just hide-smirked from his attack…

"I would be surprise if that attack DID reach me, however I have this monster in my hand to do the 'trick'. I activate my Ghostric Lantern's effect: when you declared your direct attack on me, while this card is in my hand, I can negate your attack, and special summon this card in face-down position!", HeliStorm cyclones were about to collide with the succubus; when a big pumpkin face absorbed her attack and started laughing. A new face-down monster appeared on her side. (ATK: 800 / DEF: 0)

"A nice play, Miss. But you will need more than that to stop me. I activate my Quick-play Spell card from my hand, De-Fusion: I can return my Fusion Monster back to the extra deck, to Special Summon back my Fusion Materials; HeliStorm Magician Girl return to the extra deck; return to the field, Heli Magician… Dark Magician Girl!", HeliStorm was now de-evolving back to Dark Magician Girl form, the Heli Magician being formed from her vortex. (ATK: 2000 / DEF: 1700) (ATK: 1000 / DEF: 1000).

"And if you're wondering, my Jet Magician has an effect: while is in my Graveyard, its name is treated as 'Dark Magician'! it comes useful, when my Dark Magician Girl ATK raises for each Dark Magician in my graveyard." Syrus explained, Dee now getting more powerful (ATK: 2000 – 2300 / DEF: 1700). "Now Heli Magician, attack her face-down monster; 'Gust Shot'!"

Heli Magician pointed her wand in front of the face-down monster, and a gust ball beamed from her hand, going straight to the card face-down. The card revealed, the pumpkin man being destroyed into pixels. "And now you don't have more monsters to protect you! Dark Magician Girl, direct attack with 'Dark Burning'!", Dee grabbed her wand, forming a dark magical ball from it, and sent it straight to the succubus, she gritting her teeth (GS: 4000 – 1700).

"Hngh… I still survive after this attack, human! You're going down…", Socuteboss shouted at him.

"Not really, the match is already over…" Syrus informed, revealing a last card in his hand. "I activate my Quick-Play Spell, Flash Fusion: I can now perform a Fusion Summon from my Extra Deck, by sending monsters I control to the graveyard; you know what this means… Dark Magician Girl, Heli Magician… merge again into Heli-Storm Magician Girl!", the female sorceresses clashed their wands together, to form the Fusion Monster once again.

"And Heli-Storm… release your direct attack once again! 'Twin Storm Blast'!", two cyclones were released from her wand, that went straight to the little succubus.

"No… IT CAN'T BE!" the Socuteboss screamed, with her Life Points decreasing (GS: 1700 – 0)

SYRUS WON THE DUEL!

"I… I lost! This is incomprehensible… unfair, it didn't count! I request a rematch!", the red-haired succubus shouted embarrassed to the boy. Syrus only gulped at her, from seeing someone getting mad in front of him, asking again to duel him.

"But… I won with the best of my abilities. Please leave me be…" Syrus murmured, scared of the little succubus in front of him.

"NO! I won't leave you alone until you lose to me! That's an…", Socuteboss was about to continue, when she heard another voice interrupting her from her.

"Will you stop with your protests, or do I have to make you stop?", the familiar voice for the succubus made her shush, she was now looking nervously behind her.

A taller girl than her was with a serious look looking at her; she had pink hair, wearing a black hat with a purple feather and a cartoon white rabbit face; a half-white-and-black halo was on top of her head; she had green eyes, she was wearing a black Lolita dress, with two wings behind her, with white and black feathers; just like the Socuteboss, she had thigh-socks, but were black instead, and was also wearing high boots. The succubus looked at her, gasps coming from her voice.

"Bi… Big Sis! You… weren't supposed to be here."

"And you weren't supposed to act devilish in front of guests! You lost the duel, it can't be helped. I got to look at the kid… despise him being a human, he also is one of us! I see how he has heart to care for his monsters. So… please grow up, and leave him be!", the grown-up girl said, the succubus now had her head down.

Syrus felt bad for her; he actually had fun dueling against her, he only wished that it didn't have a punishment in the middle of all it. He came close to Dark Magician Girl, and he tapped her shoulder.

"Hey… Dee…", he said.

"What is it, Sy?", she asked him with a smile.

"I'm… feeling generous. I don't want anyone feel sad over this… confusion."

"Have anything in mind?", Dee asked, still carrying her candy basket.

"… Yes, I do!" he answered, hand-holding her carrying hand. Dee nodded at him, with a proud smile.

Syrus was now close to the prideless succubus, she was almost in tears looking at him. "W-what do you want? You w-won, right? T… the candy is yours, good for you!", she said over hiccups. The boy only smiled, and handed her over the basket with ALL the candies he and Dee have been hunting. "H-hu? What's… the meaning of this?", she now asked to the boy with wide-eyes.

"I only did this event, because I wanted to have fun with my friends… I never had someone giving me company in my past to celebrate an event like this one. You can have the candies for you! Even thou me and… my friend had our fun trying to win this challenge, I could say our duel was the most fun part of this day. So, I'm happy to have you challenged me for a duel; despise the penalty game would put me in danger… but I already forgot that part.", Syrus explained with a precious smile on his face.

The succubus picked the basket, now with a relaxed expression. She was now looking happily at the pumpkin basket, that was full of pumpkin and ghost candy forms. Just like her, the taller girl sighed, and hide smiled at the sight. The succubus looked back at the boy, and decided to act her natural way.

"H-hmph… it's not like I would feel happy for you to give me your basket, or anything… I just… I'm just glad my Big Sis is back to bring me back home, because the event is almost done and all.", the little girl looked behind her, to hide her face from the boy.

'Ah… what do people call this? Is she… a tsundere? Still, her acting was actually cu… No, NO! Bad Syrus…', Syrus shook his head, the taller girl now coming close to him.

"I guess I should first apologize for my little sister attitude. I think she interrupted your… walking with your 'girlfriend'."

"Eh? You think me and Dark Magician Girl are lovers? No way, there's no way that would…", Syrus was nervous, with his hand behind scratching his hair. But Dee appeared from behind him and hugged him, too much for Syrus embarrassment. 'DEE! People… I mean, Duel Spirits are looking at us!'

"I want to thank you for coming here, now I can finally spend time with my Syrus!", Dee's face was now close the boy's face, so she could have her cheeks closer to his. 'OH MY GOD! SHE REALLY… REALLY LOVES ME!' Syrus thought with his eyes widen, his face was heating from how red he was.

"You two are really steady together, I suppose…" the pink-haired girl smirked.

"Well… anyways, it was nice meeting you, huh…", Syrus was about to greet her, when she interrupted with a smile.

"Ghostrick Angel of Mischief! I hope I get to see you around again; you lovely hearts…", the girl winked, doing a 'kiss' gesture with her hands. The little succubus came close to them, and looked at the bluenette boy.

"You know… I'm not used to say this… but thank you. For this duel, and also for the candies… If I get to win this event… I can share my candies with you.", the succubus told him, Syrus smiled and shook his head.

"I appreciate your offer, but I think your friends would like to have the candies instead. Share with them."

"My friends… Mhm, will do! It was nice to meet you, human… I mean, Syrus!" the succubus let out a cheeky smile, and inevitably hugged him in his waist. Syrus screamed from inside, Dee felt colorless… and the Angel grabbed the Socuteboss from behind.

"Alright! The meeting is over… I apologize once again for my little sister attitude. Until a next time!" the Angel was now going back to the other direction of the road, the succubus saying goodbye to Syrus, waving. "Goodbye, Syrus! One day, I'll make you submit to meeee…"

Syrus was now looking at Dee… he felt some cold chills. Someone besides Dark Magician Girl hugged him after all. "Hum… Dee, are you okay?", he asked to her crush; she only sighed, feeling more relaxed.

"Don't mind it, I actually expected that to happen… Syrus, your kindness is dangerous. Don't forget that!", she looked at him in the eyes.

"G-got it! I will only show my true kindness to you… Dee. That's why… I accepted to go to the Monster Realm with you in the first place. Making this a Halloween event was also fun. I never felt so amused in my life, and it's all thanks to you!"

'Syrus… you, really are a dangerous being.', Dee thought over her blushing face. "That reminds me, I actually had another costume I wanted to show you…", Syrus nodded at what Dee mentioned, remembering what she said on her room.

She held his hand, now they were walking back her home. When they came back to Dee's room, Syrus was now looking at some books that were in her shelter; the female sorceress had excused herself to get her dress ready.

'To think we would be alone in her room… again. Could this mean we… will do it? No, there's no way she would do it with someone like me…' Syrus thought, while trying to understand what the book said. He heard the door open, his attention turning back to the entry, while putting the book back in the shelter. "Dee… are you there?"

"Dee? What do you mean, who's 'Dee'?", her voice sounded a little more daunting, Syrus was now gasping for some air. "Whoever you're mentioning, she's not here anymore! I am… Dark Bloody Girl"

"Dee… I mean, you… wow, you look… so threatening!", Syrus said over some nervous gulps. In front of him, Dark Magician Girl wasn't in her costume anymore.

Instead, she was wearing a vampire mistress costume, with a dark cape, being red color in-front; she had fake pointing ears stuck on her sides, hiding her original ones; her black gown was also matching with a red vest; she was using red contacts on her eyes, and a red lipstick on her lips. Some tiny fake sharp fangs were on her teeth, she was now smirking in front of him, walking close to him like she was feeling thirsty.

'Dear Mum, I can finally die happy…', Syrus thought while walking away from the disguised Dee, and was now sitting on her bed.

"Now then… Where should I bite my prey first?", Dee asked, now close to Syrus. For his surprise, she pushed him to the bed, making him lay down on the sheets; she was now on top of him, the boy was almost fainting from either anxiety or was too excited for her. "Trick or Treat, little skeleton?", she asked teasingly.

"P-please don't bite me… I'm just an innocent skeleton. I, I have no more blood left in me!", Syrus said innocently, trying to end with the 'playing'. Dee only smirked at him; an idea came to her.

"You're right… you're just an innocent skeleton. Of course, you wouldn't have blood in you. But I'm still too thirsty… What shall I do to you?", her face was now getting closer to his. Syrus only gulped and closed his eyes, he was now getting too excited for having her dominate over his innocence; he couldn't do nothing.

"I… I, hmm…?", Syrus was murmuring to himself, when he felt something get in contact with him, his eyes now opening from pure surprise. Their lips greeted each other, Syrus actually panted from how stimulating that felt.

'My… my first kiss… oh God! It feels so good!', Syrus thought over Dee's soft and sweet lips, devouring his, hungrily. He didn't have enough strength to think straight anymore, all his thoughts flied away and were exchanged to pleasure groans leaving his mouth.

For his disappointment, Dee broke away their kiss; a saliva thread was stuck between their lips, while she looked at Syrus with full-pleasured heart-eyes.

"That won't do, my prey! For you to be this good on my first kiss, I might get addicted to it. My lips are still thirsty for yours!", she informed while blushing. She then pressed her lips against his again, but this time she used more passion in it. Syrus eyes were feeling numb, he couldn't tell if he was really dreaming or was a reality… all he knew was that if it was a dream, he didn't want to wake up from it, so he closed his eyes, falling once again from that total pleasure.

That's when he felt something invading his mouth, it was making him let out deep breaths: it was her tongue, she took the 'thirsty' word too literal. She was sucking all his saliva from his mouth, with such strength that made the boy almost lose himself. The bluenette felt an urge inside him, and decided to hug tight on Dee's waist, surprising her with his strength. Syrus was now the one lip-locking her with such strength, that almost made her want to leave the kiss.

"Hmm… Syrus, you're… acting so manly… Oh my", Dee said over her moans. Syrus felt like he was taking the lead now, while she was feeling her arms growing weak. He took the chance to get up and switch their positions, the boy was now on top of her. Dee was now with her back and hair spread over her bed sheets, patting heavily from their 'deep contact'.

"Aren't you… fulfilled… enough?", the 'manly' boy asked over his breathing. She only extended her arm to caress his cheek, smiling.

"The night is young, Syrus… let us enjoy ourselves more, shall we?", Dee asked him, teasingly.

"… Sure. But it's still evening noon." Syrus answered, over a nervous laugh.

"One more reason for us to keep doing what we were doing!", Dark Magician Girl pushed his head closer, to have them deep kiss again on the bed; while pulling gently his light-blue hair with delight. Feeling the room heat increasing, the two 'love birds' knew that they wouldn't leave it so soon."

Back in Domino City, there was a cloudy weather in a graveyard where people were passing by dressed in their Halloween costumes, just like in the Monster Realm. For the people there, the graveyard was a popular place for they have a nice time, sensing the Halloween spirit in it.

However, there was a rumor around the city, where some people used to scream and leave the graveyard terrified. They always said in those rumors that real zombies existed in there. Back in a bush close to the graveyard, a group of voices hiding inside there were laughing.

"Dude, did you see the look on their faces? They were looking so frightening to death!", one man shouted.

"Eheh-eheh… they will never believe that the rumors are actually true. If we show to these midgets much fright, we'll finally become pro-duelists!", a hoarse voice was sounding in the bushes, looking at some cards he had on his hands.

"Yeah… we're counting on you… oh, our King of Ghosts!", the last guy mentioned his nickname. Their hunting wasn't over yet.

Yes, I like the archetype and know how to play Ghostricks (I have a friend on Discord that used to play Ghostricks in tournaments, and she rocked with them), I just… don't like the way they are played. But don't worry, they might come in the future 😊, but I don't want to promise stuff. My script is a little sensitive on season 2 and 3 in some ways.
