Reunion synopsis
Teito was pulled inside by a woman with brown hair, green eyes, wearing a brown outfit and a brown skirt. She immediately informed him that her name is Eve and that she wanted to destroy the defect for quite sometime. She thanked him for doing this and escorted him out of the church grounds so that the guards won't think he was responsible for the Pope's suicide after his confession.
Eve told him that she has been staying in the church, helping them out and that he is welcome to come visit at anytime. They parted ways.
Mikhail told him about Eve and her relation to Verloren. Lovers, accidental death and Verloren's insanity as Teito is going back to the military.
Mikage met up with Teito who told him that Ayanami needed to see him.
Ayanami told him without preamble that Mikage told him of Teito's leave taking and once again had done him a service since the death of the defect had caused Ayanami to relax, as if an invisible wound had been healed.
Teito hesitated in telling Ayanami this but he did tell his superior that he met Eve.
To his shock, Ayanami surprisingly dashed in front of him then lifted him up by grabbing his collar threatening to kill him if he's lying. Teito proved the truth by describing Eve's appearance and telling him that she's in the Barsburg Church.
Seeing that Teito wasn't lying, Ayanami requested him to ask Eve to come see him at his office. He also told Teito that Eve is to come out of her own free will and if she doesn't, he won't force her to.
Teito met up with Eve on Labrador's garden with Castor present. He told her about Ayanami's request to speak with him and a little persuasion made her say yes. She said her goodbyes to the bishops then she accompanied Teito to the military base.
For Eve, meeting Ayanami has got to be the biggest challenge she ever had to face in her entire life. When Ayanami offered Teito some money as a reward for bringing Eve here, even if he didn't need to, Teito firmly refused and added that Eve will hear him out then she be allowed to leave back to the church. Eve felt confident and protected and held Teito's hand briefly to show her support.
Ayanami allowed the refusal and changed the reward to have a sword forged for Teito as an expression of his gratitude which Teito thanked him for.
Ayanami spoke with Eve alone and the topic wasn't known except that Eve came out of his office extremely dazed and flustered. Teito didn't want to pressure her to reveal what the topic was and escorted her back to the church.
