Suki came forward with an excited expression.

"Can I come?! Can I come?! I wanna see Roswaal when he's 'clowning' around! Eh? Eh?"

Emilia smiled apologetically as she held his hands.

"Sorry, Suki. But this is a really important discussion and I can't have you insulting Roswaal in front of them."

Suki visibly deflated as he stood outside while Emilia was being led in by Rem. Ram stood outside before coughing.

"Ha."

He glared at the maid before leaning against the window, he caught eye of the chariot outside. He grinned.

"The Sword Demon, huh?"

PRESENT…

The old man, known by Wilhem Van Astrea or as the Sword Demon stood outside the great Mathers Mansion. He exhaled softly as he finished wiping the carriage window. He stared up at the mansion.

"So, this is where Lady Emilia resides."

The sound of a door opening interrupted his thoughts. He turned to see a suited man in front of him, his hair pulled back in a ponytail and a small necklace in the form of a wolf skull hung from his neck. He was carrying a tray that held a tea set and some light snacks. He grinned at him.

"Aren't you getting bored waiting out here?"

He stared at him as he set the tray down. He picked up the teapot and gestured towards him with it.

"Tea?"

Wilhelm gratefully nodded as the man filled up the cup with tea. He gave it to him shortly after, he took in the scent of the tea. It was sweet with an earthy floral smell. He took a sip and exhaled softly. It was good tea.

He smiled lightly at him.

"It tastes lovely, but I feel as if I am indulging in a great luxury."

The man chuckled as he put the teapot down.

"Hey, don't worry. This stuff is my grandma's old tea leaves, one of her best too! Besides one of her oldest sayings about expensive tea was. If no one is around to drink it then what is its use?"

Wilhelm chuckled as he took another sip of the aromatic tea.

"Your grandmother was a wise person then?"

He chuckled as he stared at the sky nostalgically.

"Yeah, she really was."

He turned to face him.

"So, what's the reason you come here?"

Wilhelm chuckled softly before turning to face him.

"Your tea is quite nice, but I am afraid I do not know your position in the mansion, so I cannot say anything carelessly. Please understand."

He chuckled before waving it off dismissively.

"That's fine too. But can you at least tell me your name?"

Wilhelm smiled softly before putting the teacup down.

"My name is Wilhelm Trias and I thank you for your tea."

He chuckled before coughing and slightly bowing.

"Pleased to make your acquaintance, Wilhelm. I'm Suki. Now, we know each other."

Wilhelm smiled before sipping once more from the teacup. It really was good tea.

"I'm sorry for making you wait outside, I bet you were bored weren't you?"

He turned to see the cat eared mage known as, Felix Argyle. Felix stopped by the carriage before turning to look at Suki, who seemed to not mind at all.

"So, you're the boy that Lady Emilia mentioned."

Suki scowled before glaring at Felix.

"I'm not a boy, I'm a MAN! I'll have you know I think I'm at least 18!"

Felix tilted his head in confusion.

"You think?"

Suki shrugged carelessly

"I don't keep count, okay?"

Felix chuckled before boarding the carriage. Felix waved at him.

"I hope to meet you in the Capital then! Let's go Old Man Wil!"

Wilhelm bowed respectfully to Suki.

"I hope to see more of your tea at the Capital then Suki."

Suki chuckled as the Wilhelm boarded the carriage and the ground dragons began to run along with the carriage. Suki waved at it as it disappeared.

"I wanna come with you to the Capital!"

Emilia smiled sheepishly as Suki announced his intentions.

"This is a VERY important visit, Suki. You do know that, right?"

Suki waved it off dismissively.

"Don't worry! I won't be too much trouble. Besides, I was planning to go to the Capital anyway. I've got a bit of business to take care of there."

Roswaal chuckled softly as he sat down.

"I agree. This is also a good opportunity to abandon Suki there— I mean, let him explore."

Suki glared at the court mage fiercely.

"Besides, you may be able to use magic again if this visit goes well."

Suki raised an eyebrow as he arrowed his eyes at him.

"What do you mean?"

Roswaal smiled widely.

"You met the emissary earlier, did you not?"

Suki shrugged.

"The furry. Yes, I am familiar."

Roswaal scowled before coughing to regain his composure.

"Well, that was the Capital's most brilliant user of water magic, even Emilia had trouble enlisting Felix's cooperation."

Suki tilted his head in confusion.

"What does that have to do with anything?"

Emilia chuckled sheepishly before turning to face Suki.

"I may have, eavesdropped on your conversation with Lady Beatrice about your gate."

Suki chuckled as he turned to her in disbelief.

"And here I thought you were incapable of bad deeds."

Emilia blushed brightly, obviously embarrassed.

"I wasn't trying to!"

Suki laughed heartily.

"I was surprised to see you talking to that boy earlier, I thought you preferred to chop people in half than chatting and drinking tea with them."

Wilhelm smiled softly as he stared outside the speeding carriage.

"He simply reminded of an old friend. The hair was different, so was the outfit, but the ferocity in his eyes were the same. The kind that told of unfathomable determination."

Felix chuckled confused.

"Nyow, you've lost me. But if Wilhelm van Astrea thinks so, then he must be someone quite interesting to watch."

Wilhelm chuckled softly.

"Indeed."

"Emilia, you can let go of me now."

The silver haired, half elf stood strong, her grip on the suited man tightening. He chuckled embarrassed.

"No! If I let you go, you'll do something stupid again!"

"Wooo! I can fly like an eagle! Now, I know why dogs love this! NOW, I KNOW WHY KURO LOVED THIS!"

The man quickly jumped out the carriage experiencing a moment of euphoria…

"Look! I'm flyin-"

…before the the moment disappeared and was replaced with him falling to the ground, rolling on the road and slipping into the fields.

"AAAA! The field is alive! Save yourselves!"

He chuckled mischievously before straightening himself up pridefully.

"I was both physically and mentally prepared to fly. As the great words of Robert Sylvester Kelly go on, I believe I can fly."

Emilia shook her, chuckling.

"Let's just go before you cause anymore trouble."

Suki saluted, following Emilia.

"Aye aye, M'lady."

As they arrived right in front of the gate. Suki turned to Emilia with a grin.

"This is your stop. Remember never take any candy from strangers who are offering. Who knows what they do to those poor children?"

He stared at the gate before frowning, visibly disappointed.

"I was expecting more of a Victorian castle, freakin big castle plebs. Victorian castle squad, where you at?"

Emilia stared at him in confusion.

"Victorian?"

Suki shrugged before waving it off dismissively.

"You don't need to worry about that, all you need to know is, this castle is not better than a Victorian castle cuz Victorian castle pog."

Emilia slapped his shoulder playfully.

"You're impossible."

"Well, if it isn't Lady Emilia! Have you been well since we've last met?"

Suki turned to see, a purple haired man with a knights uniform bowing towards Emilia. She smiled back cheerfully.

"Yes, everything has been basically the same. You also seem to be well, Julius."

Julius smiled back cheerfully.

"Simply the fact that you remember me is quite an honor. You have only grown more beautiful, Lady Emilia."

Julius knelt and in a show of chivalry, softly kissed Emilia's hand. Suki stood back, amused by this.

"Thank you. Forgive me for asking, but I have business at the castle, so could you act as my agent there?"

Julius smiled briefly before turning to look at Suki.

"Does your business involve the young man behind you?"

Suki chuckled before shaking his head.

"Nah, I was just about to leave though. Nice to meet you by the way, Julius was it?"

Julius nodded respectfully. Suki grinned before turning to leave.

"Take care of here there, will ya? There are some real monsters there."

Julius raised an eyebrow as Suki walked away, he turned to Emilia.

"Lady Emilia, do you perhaps know him?"

She nodded eagerly as he observed Suki's disappearing form.

"That's Suki."

Suki chuckled as he neared an apple stand. A certain one too.

"Hey! Kadomon, how's the business? Still selling apples I see."

The man turned to see Suki. He grinned as he faced him.

"Hey, Suki! How've ya been?"

Suki shrugged.

"Pretty good, just livin' by following my gut. By the way, how's the wife and the kids?"

Kadomon chuckled.

"Pretty fine, she keeps saying how she wants to grow up as strong as you."

Suki chuckled as he3 stared at the crowd of people in the streets.

"Ah, ignorance is bliss after all."

Kadomon coughed.

"So, you planning to buy anything this time?"

Suki nodded before handing out a few copper coins.

"Just a few apples, I'm planning to meet someone."

Kadomon grinned and handed him the apples in a bag.

"Hope it goes well, oh and I'll tell her you stopped by!"

Suki waved as he disappeared into the crowd. He wandered into a medium sized restaurant and took his seat on a small table.

"You could get arrested just for being here, you know?"

The black haired woman laughed as she stared at him.

"I'm not here to kill or to take your bowels. I'm just here for the show."

Suki laughed as a waiter came and put a small cup of water in front of him. Suki smiled gratefully as the waiter left.

"Does the shepherd believe the wolf when it tells him, all it wants to do is watch the sheep?"

Elsa smiled as she gently traced aimlessly on the table.

"I suppose you're right, but I doubt I could even do anything. With you and the Sword Saint here."

Suki chuckled as he lay back into his chair.

"I guess you're right, but remember, I'll take your head if you even think about it."

Elsa chuckled as she stared at him.

"Perish the thought!"

Suki shrugged.

"I am a man capable of many things, Miss Greinhart. Do not forget that."

She smiled slyly as Suki got up, ready to leave.

"Until we meet again."

Suki easily disappeared into the crowd. Elsa looked around warily before getting up. Things were getting dull and now she couldn't bask in the glory that was bowels. She disappeared into the crowd as well.

Suki swung his legs on top of a roof, beside the gate to the castle. Carriage by carriage passed on the road, the sound of ground dragons trampling the ground was almost deafening. He smiled as he stared up at the bright noon sky.

"Kind of wish you were here."

He caught sight of a woman walking into a deserted alley. He grinned to himself.

"In front of a guard outpost? Now that's what I call bold."

He jumped down and silently made his way to the alley. Careful not to get noticed.

"You little—"

"Don't screw with us!"

"You want us to mess up that pretty little face of yours?"

The damsel in distress simply smiled haughtily.

"Don't make such a racket, commoners. Fools with no character picks fights for the most foolish of reas-"

"Wow, and here I thought I told you guys to stop this kind of shenanigans."

They turned to him with panic evident in their eyes. The smaller of the three came forward nervously. Anger had quickly turned into fear.

"Suki! I thought you weren't gonna be here for a while!"

Suki smiled widely with a hint of malice.

"And miss my three favorite idiots in the world, who I told to stop robbing people? Never!"

The taller of the three came forward nervously.

"O-Oh yeah? Well, what'll we do to get money for food, huh wise guy?"

Suki stared at them with a deadpan expression.

"Jobs?"

He tilted his head in genuine confusion.

"What's that? Can I eat that stuff?"

Suki pinched the bridge of his nose in irritation and pointed behind him.

"Just get out here, before I call the po-po's."

They quickly scrambled to get out of the alley, one after the other. Then he heard a sewer grate open. He turned to see the albino giant, Rom. Suki grinned as he walked up to him.

"Hey! Rom, how's it going? Oh yeah, you need help getting out of there? Your arthritis might act up again."

Rom got out of the ground before turning to Suki. He seemed to have a look in his eye. Suki raised an eyebrow.

"Hey Rom, you okay?"

Rom waved it off dismissively.

"I'm fine, it's just I haven't seen Felt in a while, have you seen her?"

Suki chuckled.

"Don't you remember, Reinhardouchebag knocked you and Felt out and took her away."

Rom ignored the comment towards the knight and seemed to be glaring at the castle instead.

"It HAD to be an Astrea, huh?"

Rom smiled gratefully before disappearing once more into the sewage system. Suki grinned calling out as he went.

"Hey! Don't forget your back medicine, grandpa! Your arthritis gets real bad in the summer!"

Something flew out the sewer, which Suki easily dodged whilst staring at the thrown object.

"Oh that's real mature, acting like a monkey!"

Suki sighed before turning to the woman. She had blonde hair and wore a red dress with black designs accompanied with a red and black fan, covering her mouth.

"Now, what's YOUR deal, lady?"

She looked away haughtily.

"Bold of you to assume I even have a 'deal'! Besides, I would have been completely fine without you interfering."

Suki raised an eyebrow before sighing.

"Huh. How so?"

She stared at him with the expression that obviously showed she was looking down on him.

"The world is designed to operate in a way that works best for me, so I am never at a disadvantage."

Suki shrugged before grinning.

"Have you ever thought that the world made it so I would interfere? So, that you wouldn't be at a disadvantage and that this was the best way that situation could've gone?"

She tried to speak against Suki's sound argument, but could not find a way to speak against it, so she simply looked away pridefully. Suki stared at her momentarily before snickering.

She glared at him.

"What's so funny?"

Suki shrugged in between fits of laughter.

"It's just that, your attitude reminds me of someone I used to know."

She raised an eyebrow in curiosity.

"And what kind of attitude is that?"

Suki stared at her amused.

"The attitude where they think that the world was created simply for them."

She cracked her knuckles, she had put her fan down now and was visibly annoyed at him.

"What do you mean by that?"'

He waved his hand dismissively before raising it.

"Nothing, I swear. Scout's Honor."

"There you are!"

Suki turned to see Emilia standing beside a man wearing no shirt, had pants and only had a helmet. He smiled as he went towards her.

"Ah! Miss Emilia and the shirtless muscular helmet guy I don't remember leaving you with."

Suki turned to face the man and bowed in greeting.

"Hello there, dude with no shirt and just a metal helmet! I'm Suki!"

The man seemed to humor Suki.

"Well, hello there Suki, person who wears a suit in this VERY hot day! I'm Al."

Suki jabbed his finger at Al and leaned in to Emilia.

"I like this guy, can I keep him?"

Emilia chuckled as Suki turned to him.

"So Al, whatcha doing with Emilia?"

Al chuckled as he gestured towards her.

"Well, I was surprised when she asked me for help, while I myself was searching for a lost problem child."

"My, how attentive for you to wait where you knew I would be. I commend your dedication, Al."

The woman had come forward to him. Suki stared at Al then at the woman then at Al again. He leaned to whisper to Al.

"Does she force you to dress like this?"

Al laughed heartily.

"No, no she doesn't!"

Suki shrugged.

"Can't blame a guy for asking."

He turned to the woman once more then bowed respectfully.

"Well, it seems we've both found what we were looking for. Lezgo."

Suki turned around ready to leave then the woman called out again.

"Wait. What's in that bag?"

Suki grinned as he brought out an apple.

"Oh this? This sweet beautiful mother loving, gift of God to man? The most badass fruit on the freaking planet? Apples, why do you ask?'

The woman scoffed.

"Don't make me laugh, apples have white skin."

Suki coughed violently and huddled in a corner moping.

"She's never seen an unpeeled apple before, must be nice to be rich huh? Ha ha ha."

She turned to look at Emilia, but she just hid behind a corner.

Suki stood up and tossed her an apple.

"Here, partake of a poor man's meal. And stop skipping after jobless idiots. Okay?"

She easily caught it, Suki grinned as he walked away with Emilia on his side. She watched him carefully as he disappeared into the crowd. She sniffed the red fruit before staring at it in slight surprise.

"Huh, so it was an apple."

"The girl from before."

Suki grinned as Emilia sternly stared at him. He shrugged.

"What about her?

"Where did you meet her?"

Suki looked up thoughtfully.

"In a dark alley, getting robbed. What a noob, imagine getting robbed though, haha."

Emilia TRIED to stay serious before failing and giggling. Suki smiled before offering his arm.

"Well? I DID promise Papa Roswaal to get you home by five."

Emilia giggled before holding onto his arm. The sun setting in the distance.

"What do you mean, I can't go to the castle? I didn't even get to see that cock blocking, Reinhard yet!"

Emilia's stern expression turned confused.

"Cock blocking?"

Suki sighed as he stared out the window somberly.

"Damn, cultural difference."

Emilia shook her head.

"I can't let you go to the castle! That's final!"

Suki pouted before sighing and putting his jacket down.

"Well, I was planning on meeting an old friend, but he didn't show up yesterday. I guess I'll try to find him later."

Emilia stared up thoughtfully before nodding.

"I guess that's alright."

Suki grinned before walking up to his room. He set the black knife down on the bed along with a sketch of Elsa Granhiert.

"Now, I wonder. Where oh where are you hiding, Miss Bowel Hunter?"
