As Alexis is with her adoptive father and brothers the group along with everyone in town sees a giant one-eyed triangle creature appear in the sky as things turn dark in the sky.
"Alright listen up you one lifespan, three dimensional, five sense skin puppets! For one trillion years I've been trapped in my own decaying dimension. Waiting for a new universe to call my own. Name's Bill! But you can call me your new lord and master for all of eternity! Now meet the gang of interdimensional criminals and nightmares I call my friends. 8 Ball! Kryptos! The being whose name must never be said! Haha what the heck. It's Zanthar. Then of course there's also Teeth, Keyhole, Hectorgon, Amorphous Shape, Pyronica, Paci-Fire, and these guys. This is our town now boys!" The creature shouts as more creatures appear.
"Now see here you unholy triangle fella. As mayor I strongly urge you to git...git on out of here." The mayor says as he steps forward.
"Yeah! Things with one eye are weird!" Lazy Susan shouts.
"We don't like out-of-towners." Grenda shouts.
"We punch what we don't understand!" Manly Dan shouts as he rips open a mailbox.
"I would just like to say that as a rich capitalist I welcome your tyrannical rule. Perhaps I could be one of your uh... horsemen of the apocalypse?" Mr. Northwest asks as he steps forward.
"Dad!" Pacifica shouts.
"Not now sweetie. The grownups are talking." Mr. Northwest says.
"Oh wow. That's a great offer. How 'bout instead I shuffle the functions of every hole in your face?" Bill asks as he rearranges Mr. Northwest's face before turning Durland to stone.
"Durland! My precious Deputy Durland. No!" Sheriff Blubs shouts as a creature carries Durland away while people run in fear.
"It's time we do a little redecorating. I could really use a castle of some kind. And how about some bubbles of pure madness! This party never stops. Time is dead and meaning has no meaning. Existence is upside-down and I reign supreme. Welcome one and all to Weirdmageddon!" Bill shouts as he begins rearranging the town to his liking.
*Timeskip*
"Oh man this place is a mess." Alexis says she is standing guard in a mall in wolf form as Wendy is setting up a net.
"No kidding." Wendy says as Alexis ears perk up at hearing a noise.
"Wendy quickly. Hide. I hear someone coming." Alexis says.
"Time to test out our trap." Wendy says as he and Alexis hide before hearing their trap go off.
"Ah! Help! The nachos tricked me!" A voice shouts as Alexis and Wendy poke their heads out of their hiding places.
"Dipper?" Wendy asks as she was hiding in a tree plant while Alexis was hiding behind a trash can.
"Wendy, Alexis!? Oh no! You've been transformed into some sort of... tree monster!" Dipper says as he freaks out seeing Wendy.
"Ha! It's just camouflage. My dad made me, Alexis, and our brothers do apocalypse training every year instead of Christmas. Guess it's sort of cool the paranoia paid off.Nice! Bat meat." Wendy says as she shoots a bat with an arrow.
"Hold still Dipper. I'll get you down." Alexis says as she bites through the net freeing Dipper.
"Thanks." Dipper says as Alexis smiles at him.
"Not a problem. I'm just grateful to know you're okay. I was worried about you." Alexis says as she nuzzles Dipper.
"I was worried about you too. I'm so glad to find you both! I thought everyone I knew was gone." Dipper says worriedly as he hugs Alexis before hugging Wendy.
"Hey, hey. It's okay. We have each other now. And Toby Determined who Alexis accidentally mistook for a monster." Wendy says as Toby appears.
"This just in. This arrow in my shoulder." Toby says as he has an arrow in his shoulder.
"We shouldn't stay out in the open for too long. Let me show you my hideout." Wendy says as Toby and Dipper follow her and Alexis.
*Timeskip*
"We were playing Truth or Dare in the cemetery when it happened." Alexis says as Wendy is cooking a bat over a fire.
"The eyeballs froze Nate, Lee, Tambry and Thompson. Robbie almost got away but had to pause to take a selfie." Wendy says.
"What about you?" Alexis asks as Dipper gives a sad look.
"I was in a fight with Mabel when it happened. Uncle Ford asked me to be his apprentice once the summer was over. But that would mean I wouldn't go back home. It would mean growing up without Mabel." Dipper says sadly as Alexis looks at him.
"Oh man." Alexis says as she pins her ears back sadly.
"Mabel didn't take it well and she ran off into the forest. She couldn't even look me in the eye." Dipper says.
"Come on. Let's get some fresh air. Toby you watch the camp." Wendy says as she looks at Toby.
"Don't call me Toby anymore. Call me Bodacious T." Toby says as he comes out dressed in edgy clothing.
"How about no?" Alexis asks as she looks unimpressed.
"Ooh..." Toby says sadly.
*Timeskip*
"The end of the world. Man those death metal album covers got it shockingly right." Wendy says as she is sitting outside with Alexis and Dipper.
"You know I used to think I could get out of anything. But this? The journals are destroyed, Ford is captured and I can't find my family anywhere. Bill said it himself. There's no room for heroes out here. We lost." Dipper says sadly.
"No we haven't. One thing I've always remembered is the fight isn't over until it's over. Which means you can't give up just as Wendy and I can't. Besides you've beaten Bill before right? Why is now any different?" Alexis asks as Dipper looks at her.
"Cause then I had Mabel." Dipper says.
"Then don't give up dipper. Find Mabel and set things right." Alexis says.
"Look this summer I've seen some amazing things but nothing as amazing as you and your sister. I don't know if it's dumb luck or yin and yang or whatever but when you two work together there's like nothing you two can't accomplish." Wendy says as Alexis nods.
"Wendy is right. You need to find Mabel and set things on the right path again. Just like me and Wendy we may not always get along but we're always there for each other no matter what. People come and go in our lives Dipper. Even you and I could come and go for each other. But one thing is for sure that just like I will always have Wendy to look to and rely on. The same goes for you and Mabel." Alexis says as she smiles.
"But how will I ever find her?" Dipper asks before Alexis sees a monster eat a bill board before seeing a bubble with a symbol on it in the distance.
"Uh you guys see that too?" Alexis asks as the group sees the bubble.
"The shooting star from Mabel's sweater! She's in there. I know it." Dipper says confidently.
"Whoa. Is that like twin ESP?" Wendy asks.
"No. We don't have that but we do have this thing where our allergies totally act up at the same time. Mabel needs us. But how are we gonna get out there without being caught?" Dipper asks.
"I have an idea." Wendy says.
*Timeskip*
"The abandoned auto-mart. Free cars right for the hot-wiring. We just found our ride to Mabel. I wonder if they have a tank. I've always wanted to drive a tank!" Wendy says excitedly as the group arrive at an abandoned auto-mart.
"Why does that worry me?" Alexis says worriedly before Wendy looks at her.
"Hey I'm not that reckless.. Okay maybe on an occasion or two." Wendy says as Alexis looks at her.
"I can't believe this place is just abandoned." Dipper says.
"Ooh an air freshener. Finally I'll smell like a person. Stealy stealy..." Toby says before he gets hit with several darts and collapses.
"Oh no! Tony! Was it Tony? I can never remember his name." Wendy says as three vehicles show up.
"Well, well. Looks like we got ourselves a pair of ground walkers." A prisoner says as he and another laugh.
"Listen Discount Auto Warriors!" A voice says coming from a megaphone.
"We just wanna make it to that bubble out east. We have no quarrel with you!" Dipper says in defense.
"Oh but that's where you're wrong! Hands where I can see 'em. Y'all fellers ain't goin' nowhere." A voice says as the group puts their hands up.
"Wait... Gideon!?" Dipper asks as it is revealed to be Gideon.
"That's Sheriff Gideon! Under the authority of Bill Cipher I place you two under arrest! Oh hi Wendy, Alexis! Have we formally met?" Gideon asks.
*Timeskip*
"Wooooo-we! Look what the apocalypse dragged in! Y'all are in a twelve-piece bucket of deep fried trouble now! Ghost-Eyes! Spitoon!" Gideon shouts as the group is brought to him.
"Ugh it's Gideon." Dipper says.
"He's gotten more... strange." Alexis says.
"Ma' old pal Bill figured you might try to rescue Mabel. So he appointed me master of these wastelands and keeper of the bubble! My sweet precious Mabel's trapped inside and I have the only key! Wrapped around my... well I wouldn't call it a neck exactly. Wrapped around this little pocket of fat under ma' head?" Gideon asks as he shows a key.
"Gideon you have no right to keep her in there!" Dipper shouts.
"Bill explained it to me nice and simple. She was always destined to be mine! And now that I have her in a cage she'll learn to love me! I have an eternity to wait! Ghost-Eyes! Ready to escort our friends to Bill's dungeon?" Gideon asks as the group gets picked up by prisoners.
"Put us down!" Alexis shouts angrily.
"This isn't gonna work Gideon." Wendy says as Gideon looks at her.
"Oh? And why's that?" Gideon asks unworriedly.
"Cause after I break Ghost-Eyes' arm and steal that key from your neck I'm gonna wear your butt on my foot like a rhinestone slipper!" Wendy says.
"Oho and what makes you think you can do all that?" Gideon asks.
"'Cause my sister and I are flippin' Corduroys!" Wendy shouts as she, Alexis, and Dipper get free before running and grabbing Gideon.
"Back off you know what is good for you." Alexis says as she shifts to wolf form growling as the rest of Gideon's group try to come over.
"Get back! Get back! Or I will drop-kick him I swear!" Wendy says threateningly while Alexis grabs the key from him.
"You'll never get away with this. Ya hear me?!" Gideon shouts angrily.
"Too bad for you. Looks to me like we already did." Alexis says as she, Wendy, and Dipper run over to a vehicle.
"You two are the coolest people I know." Dipper says as the group gets into the vehicle.
"We know but you can tell us about it later. Let's just get out of here for now." Alexis says as the group drives away.
"Okay all we have to do is outrace Gideon's henchmen, unlock the bubble, save Mabel, save the world. Quick question. Did you ever get your driver's license?" Dipper asks as he and Alexis see Wendy hit a mailbox.
"Definitely not. Arm!" Wendy shouts as Alexis does her best to keep people from reaching in through the windows as the group is being chased.
"Wendy watch out! Bubble field directly ahead!" Alexis shouts seeing bubbles ahead of them.
"No way around! Hold on! We're goin' through!" Wendy shouts.
"What's even in there?!" Dipper asks as the group goes through a bubble and back out.
"Okay I'm gonna be having nightmares for a week." Alexis says.
"Here comes another one dude! Brace yourselves!" Wendy shouts as the group goes through more bubbles before Gideon's car begins ramming the group.
"Wendy we're almost there! We just have to make that jump!" Dipper shouts as the group is nearly to Mabel's bubble.
"Total lack of driver's training don't fail me now." Wendy says as drives off the cliff as the car rolls down the hill and stops at the bottom as Dipper falls out at the bottom.
"Soos!" Dipper shouts as Alexis and Wendy stand up from behind the car.
"Soos?" Alexis and Wendy ask in union seeing Soos.
"Handyman of the apocalypse at your service." Soos says happily.
"Soos! How'd you, where'd you-?" Dipper then gets cut off by Soos.
"I've been wandering the plains like a desperado. Helping strangers. I guess there's some folk songs about me now? Let me see what the damage is here. Ah well the good news is your arm is okay." Soos says as he looks at Wendy's arm before wrapping it.
"And the bad news?" Alexis asks.
"Bad news is we're surrounded dudes." Soos says as the group then gets surrounded by Gideon and his group.
"Wooowee. I dare say y'all almost had the jump on me there for a second. But this ain't your anymore! Out here I win. Bill's henchbats will be here any minute to retrieve y'all. Mabel's mine now! Hahahaha!" Gideon shouts happily before blowing on a conch shell.
"Is she?" Dipper asks as Gideon looks at him.
"Well yeah. I have her trapped ergo Mabel is mine!" Gideon shouts angrily.
"Gideon listen to me if I've learned anything this summer it's that you can't force someone to love you. The best you can do is strive to be someone worthy of loving. And that's when true love finds you. When you become worthy of it." Dipper says as he looks at Wendy before at Alexis as she smiles.
"Oh I'm worthy o' lovin'! These prisoners love me!" Gideon says as the prisoners cheer.
"But Mabel doesn't. Because you're selfish. But you can change! Bill thinks there's no heroes in this world. But if we work together and fight back we can defeat him. You wanna be Mabel's hero? Stand up to Bill and let us save her!" Dipper says.
"That's crazy! You know what Bill would do to me if that happens?" Gideon asks fearfully.
"What? Tou scared of Bill?" A prisoner asks.
"No I ju... it's a complicated situation." Gideon says.
"Look inside Gideon. If all this is for Mabel then ask yourself what Mabel would want you to do." Dipper says as Gideon looks at a newspaper.
"Dipper. Will you tell her what I did?" Gideon asks as he looks at Dipper.
"Of course." Dipper says.
"I hope you're right about this. Guys new plan! Bill's minions are gonna be on us in seconds. But I'm not gonna let that dumb triangle be the warden o' me! Y'all ready for a good old fashioned prison brawl? Lets do this! Henchmen rollout!" Gideon shouts as he and his prisoners leave.
"Whew! And I thought I was gonna have to throw down!" Soos says.
"Okay remember guys. This is a prison bubble designed by Bill. We've got to prepare ourselves for what we find in here." Dipper says as the group approaches the bubble.
"Whatever it is we'll do it together. For Mabel!" Soos says.
"For Mabel!" Alexis and Wendy shout in union.
"For Mabel." Dipper says as the group unlocks the bubble before going inside.
