Please do remember that these fights all take place while the characters are at the very early stages of training. VERY early. So they might be a bit more amateurish than they will be later.

It was a new school day, and it was decided that those who wished to be class rep would participate in the tournament, while everyone who didn't would decide the matches and take notes during the fighting.

This is what led all the participants being lined up inside one of the U.A. training facilities, while the non-participants and Aizawa, were sitting on some nearby bleachers.

The participants were as such.

Izuku(who was there mostly just because he wanted to fight), Zamasu, Bakugo, Kaminari, Mina, Aoyama, Iida, and Kirishima(who was also mostly there for a fight.)

A few others did also want to be class rep but not more than they didn't want to be in a ring with Bakugo.

"Alright, the first matches have been decided," Aizawa announced. "The first matches will be in this order. Bakugo vs Kai, Ashido vs Midoriya, Kirishima vs Aoyama, and Iida vs Kaminari."

Zamasu and Bakugo immediately glared at each other.

"Me and Snot face first! Fucking fantastic!" Bakugo gave his soon-to-be opponent a vicious grin.

"Yes, indeed it is quite fortunate that I won't have to wait much longer before I smite you!" Zamasu returned Bakugo's expression with a menacing, yet still cocky grin.

Zamasu was still a little upset from what happened yesterday with Videl, although with sometime and after destroying several dummies, he had calmed himself a bit.

That didn't mean he wasn't hyped for a chance to beat Bakugo. There would never come a day where he wouldn't be excited for that.

"The two egos collide! Now we get to see which ego's bigger!" Mina teased.

"Man, whoever loses is gonna be PISSED." Kaminari laughed a bit.

"You have...no idea," Izuku added, knowing that when one of them lost, at anything they were in a bad mood. But when they lost to each other...it was a nightmare.

A few minutes later.

Both Bakugo and Zamasu had entered the ring, ready to finally throw down.

The ring was plain and simple. Just a white circle drawn on a concrete floor and the rules were just as simple.

You get rendered unconscious or are rendered unable to fight, you lose.

You get knocked out of the ring, you lose.

You surrender, you lose.

And if you go too far in injuring your opponent, not only are you eliminated but depending on how bad the injury is, more serious punishments could be given.

The two opponents glared at each other with an intensity that could be felt by the people watching, as they waited eagerly for the real sparks to fly.

"Let's get this over with. Begin!" Aizawa signaled the match to start.

BOOM!

"Ap Shot! Auto-Canon!" Bakugo unleashed a flurry of blasts at Zamasu. While keeping as much of a distance as he could.

Zamasu, using his enhanced speed, dodged the blast the best he could, running from left to right to try and avoid the spread shots, although a few did manage to nick him, although the little damage they did was immediately healed.

Fortunately for the green boy, his speed allowed him to quickly close the distance, and in less than three seconds Bakugo was in cutting range.

However, before Zamasu could get in a single slash, Bakugo let off a powerful explosion, blasting him backward, before he used his other hand, to blast him into the air, well above Zamasu.

He then rained down Auto Cannon shots at Zamasu, who could do nothing but just take the shots as they ripped through him and his clothes, making cuts and burns in his body.

However Zamasu was no stranger to pain, having trained himself to ignore it while his quirk quickly heals the damage, he jumped up and grabbed Bakugo's arm while in mid-air.

Bakugo tried to force Zamasu off him by using the arm he grabbed to unleash a very powerful explosion that burned through Zamasu's skin and muscle, and even exposed some bone in his arm.

But Zamasu just powered through the pain and slammed Bakugo down in the ground.

"AGH!" Bakugo felt the wind get knocked out of him when his back hit the ground. Slamming into it hard enough to crack the tough rocky floor.

While Zamasu's arm was healing, he raised his other arm and formed a ki blade, and dived down towards Bakugo with his blade aimed at his foe.

Even though he was struggling for breath, Bakugo managed to point his arm to the left, and use his explosions to push himself to the right, away from where Zamasu was attacking, causing the white-haired teen to hit nothing when he reached the ground.

Using some more explosions, he quickly pulled himself off the ground and onto his feet.

Zamasu rose up and once again the two were in a staredown.

Shit! Not this shit again! Bakugo hated fighting Zamasu because this always happened. No matter how many successful hits he got, no matter how much damage he did, it wouldn't matter. Zamasu would heal himself, and Bakugo would be the one worse for wear. Even if Zamasu didn't hit him, just using his quirk repeatedly would eventually take him out of the fight.

It was infuriating.

Zamasu didn't want to give Bakugo any time to breathe, and so he charged at him again.

"Tch!" This time Bakugo had a different approach, and he used his explosions to glide around the arena at impressive speeds.

Zamasu stopped in his tracks, as Bakugo swiftly moved around him using his explosions and circling him.

Bakugo's strategy was to perform a bunch of rapid hit and runs, to try and wear down Zamasu's Ki levels.

However when he got behind him and exploded himself towards the rich boy to unleash a powerful explosion at his back.

Unfortunately, explosions made surprise attacks rather difficult and Zamasu's reaction speed was no joke, so he turned around and tanked the explosion, before retaliating by slashing across his chest.

"Shit!" Bakugo unleashed a few more explosions to get away from Zamasu, as the gash in his chest leaked blood.

Zamasu followed him, and so Bakugo was forced to just keep fleeing, not even being given time to think.

I have him. Zamasu felt immense satisfaction at seeing Bakugo bleed and run away, taking some of the edges of the remaining dregs of anger he felt from yesterday.

Bakugo was faster than Zamasu even at full speed, but not by too much. If he stopped for even a moment then his opponent could catch up and with his injuries that could spell his defeat.

He needed to get Zamasu off of him.

Shit. I only have one option. This better fucking work! Bakugo thought nervously.

And so Bakugo stopped fleeing, and instead, aimed his palm towards the ground.

KABOOM!

"Gah!" Zamasu had to cover his eyes, as Bakugo's explosion produced a large cloud of dirt, crushed rocks, dust, and smoke that covered the battlefield.

"Hmph. If that savage thinks a smokescreen will help him then-gah!" Zamasu was uninterrupted by a sudden explosion that hit the back of his leg, causing him to fall onto his knee.

Zamasu tried to retaliate, by swinging his bladed hand behind him, but Bakugo had already run away, and as such the attack missed.

Bastard! Zamasu got up after his leg healed and looked around the smoke-covered arena, not being able to see anything, Zamasu closed his eyes and focused on his ears.

Bakugo Isn't using his explosions to move around, however, that didn't matter, as Zamasu could still make out his footsteps.

And so when Bakugo lunged at him from behind, Zamasu managed to narrowly dodge the explosion, and grabbed his arm, before throwing him over his shoulder.

Bakugo tumbled across the floor.

Until he passed over the line.

"Bakugo is out of bounds! The winner is Zamasu!" Aizawa announced, calling off the fight.

Zamasu emerged from the cloud of dust and scowled when he found that Bakugo was in fact over the line.

He hadn't actually intended to end the fight so quickly and was somewhat miffed that the battle hadn't lasted longer.

Bakugo on the other hand was absolutely livid.

"Damn it!" Bakugo cursed as he pulled himself up. "Stupid fucking out of bounds rule!"

"If anything you should be GLAD that rule was in place. It saved you a much more painful and humiliating defeat." Zamasu told him in the smuggest voice he could muster.

While the fight was disappointingly short, he did still kick Bakugo's ass. And that was always a good thing in his book.

"GRRRRRRRR!" Bakugo looked like he was about to jump back into the ring, but Aizawa spoke up before he could do anything stupid.

"Bakugo, go to recovery girl. Now." Aizawa's tone left no room for arguments, and he activated his quirk for extra intimidation.

"...Fine." Bakugo glared at Zamasu the entire time, as he walked out of the facility.

"Hmm." Zamasu gave a pleased hum, as he walked off the arena.

"Alright, Midoriya, Ashido, your up," Aizawa called for the next two students.

Izuku and Mina stepped up into the arena, both wearing excited smiles, with Mina's being a bit cockier than Izuku's.

"No hard feelings when I win right?" Mina got into a fighting pose but never lost her confident grin.

"If." Izuku corrected, before getting into a stance himself. "And not at all."

"Alright, enough talking. Begin." Aizawa signaled.

Immediately, Mina sprayed acid on the ground and started sliding on it, quickly making her way to Izuku.

"Kaioken!" Izuku activated Kaioken times three and shot out a barrage of ki blasts at Mina.

Mina's eyes widened, and she reacted by shooting out some acid in front of her to try and protect herself, but while her acid could dissolve a lot of things, ki was not one of them and the ki blast hit her all over her body.

"Ow! Ow! Ow!" Mina stopped her charge, instead raising her hands to try and defend herself from the blast to little effect. "It's like getting pelted by hot coals!"

While he pelted her with ki blasts, Izuku ran towards her, quickly making his way to her before kicking her in the stomach.

"AGHH!" Mina was sent flying back a few feet, landing on the ground and rolling away another couple of feet.

"Ah. Damn that hurt." Mina groaned as she slowly pulled herself off the ground.

However, by the time Mina pulled herself to her knee, she heard this. "Big Bang Attack!"

Mina's eyes went wide and she looked over at Izuku, but all she saw was blue and then.

Boom!

There was a big blue explosion of ki, that consumed Mina entirely.

"AHHHHH!" Mina was sent flying once more, this time outside of the arena, where she tumbled across the floor until coming to a stop.

"Ashido has been ringed out. Midoriya is the winner." Aizawa announced.

Immediately, Izuku deactivated Kaioken and jumped out of the ring, and over to Mina.

"Are you ok?" Izuku extended his hand to help her up, which she gladly took.

"I'll be fine. Man, I really got owned huh." Mina gave an embarrassed laugh. "You're too strong Midori! I didn't stand a chance!"

"Midori!?" Izuku took a step back and his face turned red.

"Ashido, do you need to go to Recovery Girl?" Aizawa asked his slightly burned-up student.

"Nah I'm good!" Mina smiled and gave her teacher the thumbs up, before turning to Izuku. "And you better not lose after beating me so quickly!"

"I mean I'll try." Izuku chuckled nervously.

"Kirishima, Aoyama, your up." Aizawa took a sip of his juice pack.

The two students walked into the arena and took up battle-ready stances.

"May the best man win!" Kirishima challenged.

"Aoi, I intended to," Aoyama responded.

"Begin," Aizawa instructed.

"Shining laser!" Aoyama shot off his navel laster, and Kirishima defended himself using his hardened arms.

Kirishima pushed through the beam, his defense holding steady the whole way through.

Aoyama could only hold his beam for so long before his stomach demanded that he stop, leaving him defenseless for a moment.

And that was enough for Kirishima to tackle Aoyama and pick him up, intent on carrying him out of the arena.

Aoyama saw what was happening, and forced himself to shoot a point-blank blast at Kirishima's hardened shoulder.

Kirishima grit his teeth, as he felt the Navel Laser burn through his shoulder, but he kept going, and when he reached the edge of the ring, he threw Aoyama out, ending the fight.

"Aoyama has been ringed out, Kirishima is the winner," Aizawa announced.

"Heck yeah!" Kirishima flexed like a man, even though his shoulder was still smoking.

"Ohhhh." Aoyama groaned. "Monsieur Aizawa, may I please be excused so that way I may use the Salle de bains?"

"What does that mean?" Kaminari asked.

"It means the bathroom," Momo explained.

"Make it quick." Aizawa sighed.

After Kirishima left the arena and Aoyama went to the bathroom, Aizawa called the last two. "Iida. Kaminari. You're up."

Iida and Kaminari stepped into the ring and got ready to fight.

"Let's just get this over with, begin." Aizawa signaled for the fight to start.

Kaminari prepared to activate his quirk, however, the moment Aizawa said to start, Iida rocketed towards him at speeds that made his heart race. "Oh shit. Indiscriminate-gah!"

"Recupero Burst!" Before Kaminari could do literally anything, Iida kicked him right in the face, causing him to go flying right out of the ring, and hit the floor face first.

"PSSSHHH! HAHAHAHAHA!" In the stands, Jiro and a few others burst out laughing, at Kaminari's immediate defeat.

Aizawa facepalmed and really wished he had some alcohol. "Kaminari has been rung out, Iida is the winner."

Immediately once the fight was over, Iida ran over to his fallen classmate to help him up.

"Kaminari! Are you alright?!" Iida asked his rising friend.

"Did anyone get the number of the truck that hit me?" Kaminari asked groggily.

"Alright, can someone go take Kaminari to Recovery Girl?" Aizawa asked.

"I'll do it." Jiro sighed and got up to go help him.

Kaminari got up on both feet but he still looked a little out of it. "Wha?"

Jiro grabbed his arm and guided him out of the facility. "Alright, Chargedolt let's get your head checked."

"Chargebolt, that sounds cool." Kaminari groaned, still very much out of it.

"Man Iida hit you hard," Jiro said as the two left.

"Alright, since those last three fights were so pathetically short, you guys get a ten-minute break to rest. Then we'll move onto the next two rounds." Aizawa said as he got up. "I'm going to use the bathroom."

Izuku turned to Zamasu, no longer sensing the same murderous aura he had yesterday. "Seems like that fight with Kacchan really helped you."

"Yes, putting that mongrel in his place always makes me feel at ease." Zamasu disclosed. "It's therapeutic. Thank you for giving me this opportunity."

"Ah, it's no problem. I really wanted to fight my classmates too!" Izuku admitted, although Zamasu already knew this.

"Well, I suppose your last fight would have been a disappointment then. Considering your opponent might as well have stood still during the entirety of that rather short fight." Zamasu had to hold in a laugh.

"Hey! Rude!" Mina said after overhearing what Zamasu said.

"Rude? Considering you were eavesdropping on someone else's conversation, I don't think you have the right to call ME rude." Zamasu said with increased smugness, looking at Mina with a face that showed she was far too pleased with himself.

"I'm sure you tried your best." Izuku quickly cut in. "And I'm sure next time it won't end so quickly."

"Ya darn tooting it won't!" Mina said with false aggression, before quickly smiling to show that everything was ok.

"Did she just say, "ya darn tooting"?" Zamasu looked so genuinely confused.

"Just...don't Zacchan." Izuku sighed with exasperation. "Just don't."

"What? Why do you sound so exasperated with me, I have done nothing wrong!" Zamasu defended himself.

"Zacchan, according to you, you never do anything wrong." Izuku shook his head.

"Untrue! I am capable of admitting my own wrongdoings!" Zamasu said. "For example...I...This time...there was…"

Izuku waited patiently for a reply, that he knew would never come. "Need help Zacchan?"

Before Zamasu could answer, Aizawa returned. "Alright, ten minutes are up! The next matches will be Midoriya vs Zamasu and Kirishima vs Iida."

Izuku and Zamasu looked at each other, and at the same time, a competitive smile broke out on both their faces.
