I never thought my life would end like this. Killed because I could not use my powers. I guess being a daughter of Aphrodite had its downsides after all. A charm speaker who's foe got close enough to tear out my vocal cords. Throat slit and bleeding out on the cold, unforgiving cement floor.
" Lily?! Lily are you there?!" I heard a disgruntled fire user scream.
I would yell back but, kinda can't. Somehow the idiot finds me anyway.
" Oh my gods. No. No, this can't be happening."
My sight starts to go spotty as my breathing slows down.
" No! You can't die Lily. You are my best friend. Not to mention Piper would kill me," he says, trying to make the situation lighter.
My eyes start to flutter shut.
" Wait, no. Focus on me. Look I-I'm on fire," he says, lighting a small fire on his hand, only to extinguish it, "Please don't die."
I can hear his sobs. I feel his tears land on my cheeks.
When my eyes finally stay closed and my heart stops beating, i hear Leo whisper,
" I'm so sorry for not saving you."
So, Leo Valdez, if you ever read this, I forgive you. It wasn't your fault. I love you bestie...:)
Hope you liked. I just got this inspiration and I figured why not. Sorry about it being so short. This fic's chapters are not that long.
