Total Drama: The Original Island

Minisode 2: The dilemma

By: BigBadBrad

The episode starts as we look inside the host and staff mansion located deep into the forrest of the island. The camera goes through it's large yellow windows into the living room where Chris lounges on the couch. His dyed black and blonde hair rested lazily on his face as he watches TV on a large black leather sofa. Suddenly a ringing noise can be heard in the background. A new intern appears from behind Chris. He comes down the stairs. He's a white guy with soft blonde hair that flows from his forehead to his left ear. He wears black jeans along with a simple white button down shirt.

"I got it," Announces the new intern as he rushes from the stairs into the kitchen which is located behind his couch, immediately next to the stairs he just came down.

"Thanks, Mitchell," Says Chris as he stays focused on his movie that he's watching. Mitchell peeps his head out soon after answering the ringing telephone.

"Mr. C, it's for you," Mitchell says, this causes Chris somewhat off guard but Chris remains casual as he looks behind him.

"Is it any news outlets or any obsessed fans like that… what's his name?" Chris says.

"You shouldn't ask me, but no, it's not any of them, it's… your brother," Mitchell says. Chris' eyes widen as he flashes back to their agreement and the most recent challenge that was hosted on the show.

"Oh… ok, I'll answer it," Gulps Chris as he pauses his movie, stands up, and walks over into the kitchen passing a hesitant Michael. He takes the phone from his hands.
"Hello?" Asks Chris trying to hide his anxiety.

"Hey bro! What's up man?" Kyle asks in an enthusiastic tone.

"Oh… nothing much, just rapped filming on today's episode," Chris says.

"Cool, cool. So, you wouldn't believe who I got a call from this morning," Kyle continues, this worries Chris even more as he begins to go pale.

"Wh- who?" Chris asks hesitantly.

"Mr. Tyson Lamberson, remember the military' marketing director… he had a talk with his colleagues and guess what?" Kyle asks.

"What?" Chris responds.

"Well… they decided that they want to use your show as an experiment," Kyle says casually.

"An experiment? For what?" Chris asks cautiously.

"Well they want to find out more about the mental state of these teenagers they want to know how these teenagers can be turned into possible future soldiers," Kyle says. Chris gives a small gasp before covering his mouth.

"Wait what?" Chris asks flabbergasted.

"You heard me, anyways, as you know, your boss, we, I mean I have decided to second this notion, we believe that it could help make our sponsors and ad partners happy along with creating a better and more interesting show for you," Kyle says.

Chris raises an eyebrow, "And… how much do I get paid for this?"

"Well… if you allow us to continue using your show in this manner we can add a few… hmm 10,000 dollars to your salary, I know that you've been… desperately lately," Kyle remarks.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Chris asks offended.

"You know what I mean," Responds Kyle smuggly.

"Anyways… we want you to please consider our request," Kyle says before he abruptly hangs up. This leaves Chris in somewhat of a state of aw. He sighs as he leans against the black countertops that he has in his somewhat large kitchen. Chris sighs as he looks out the window overlooking the stone bridge where tragedy struck.
