The next morning Izuku woke up with a small weight on his chest that seemed to snuggle closer to him. He looked down and smiled when he saw that Eri was still sleeping. He was happy that she didn't have any nightmares during the night. Izuku was worried that she'd get very little sleep due to nightmares but he was extremely grateful that she didn't have that problem. Izuku was laying there with Eri on his chest as he was running his fingers through her hair when his mom and girlfriend came out of their rooms with Ochaco following them out. When Katsumi saw Eri she raised an eyebrow before walking up to him and leaning over so that she could talk to him without waking the girl "Who is she and why is she here?"

Izuku smiled "Ochaco and I were coming back when she ran into me and she was scared so I got her out of there before getting her here and her name is Eri."

Katsumi nods and got up before walking into the kitchen to have some breakfast. Izuku felt Eri starting to wake up ten minutes later. She sat up on his stomach while wiping her eyes. When she was done she was looking around. He noticed the sadness that her eyes gained when she didn't see him so he poked her belly softly "I'm down here Eri."

Eri covered her mouth to suppress a giggle before looking down at him and the sadness left her eyes. She looked at him for a few minutes before laying back down on him with tears in her eyes "I'm glad that you're here with me."

Izuku gently wrapped his arms around her "I got you know and I won't be letting you go when someone tries to harm you alright?"

Eri nods and snuggled into his chest so that the warmth he gave off. Izuku smiled and sat up "Let's get something to eat for breakfast before I have to make some calls alright?"

He felt Eri nod against his chest before he got up and walked into the kitchen. He pulled out a bowl for his cereal "What do you want to eat Eri?"

Eri shrugged "I don't know."

Izuku nods and walked over to the fridge before pulling out an apple and handed that too her "Try that and tell me what you think."

Eri took the apple and bit into it. Her eyes widened when the taste hit her tongue and started to eat it quicker. Izuku smiled and pulled out two more for Eri while sitting down with his bowl to eat his own breakfast. Thirty minutes later Izuku was on his phone with a detective on the other end "I know that you're All Might's successor and I would like to know why you're asking about a girl named Eri."

Izuku sighed and closed his eyes "I was walking home last night and she bumped into me from out of an ally and I needed to get her out of there because she was terrified. I got her back home and knew something was wrong because I saw bandages on her arms and legs. She also didn't have any shoes and she doesn't seem like she knows how things work in public."

The detective sighed "Yes, that sounds like it was something worth being worried about but the problem is that nothing about this girl to show that she really exists so I don't know what to do now."

Izuku sighed "I'm going to get Recovery Girl to look at her with me in the room because she seems to be shy or scared of others which was the biggest sign that something was wrong about her past. I do want you to get me some adoption papers; I'm just not sure if it's my mom or me that will be adopting her detective Tsukauchi."

Tsukauchi sighed "I can't help but worry what you would do while living at the dorms because I don't think that UA is going to allow you take her with you."

Izuku chuckled "I'm going to call Naomi after this because I work there and I need to talk to her about something about this anyway."

The detective smiled "Well I'll let you go and get those adoption papers before sending them to you in the mail; you should get them in about three days from UA since you said you work there and I don't know when you're going to be moving in there."

Izuku smiled "Thank you."

Tsukauchi hung up and Izuku called Naomi. Three rings later Naomi answered "Hello Izuku, what can I help you with?"

Izuku sighed "I need to know if you can allow me to bring a child to the school with me since I found her last night on my home and something bad happened to her and she's only comfortable around me. So I need to know if I can bring her to the dorms and classes with me."

Naomi nods "Sure but only if you adopt her because otherwise I can't let you bring her with you."

Izuku smiled "Thank you and I just got off the phone with Detective Tsukauchi and she's going to be sending me adoption papers there but I'll call her back and tell her that I'll stop by and get them when I head to UA so that Recovery Girl can give her a check up."

Naomi smiled "Do that and I'll see you in an hour."

Izuku hung up and called Tsukauchi back "Hey, I need you to meet me outside the police officer in about ten or fifteen minutes because I'm going to pick up the adoption papers on my way to get Recovery Girl to give Eri a check up."

Tsukauchi chuckled "Alright I've got them ready now so I'll have them with me when you get here."

Izuku told her thank you and getting up before walking to the kitchen where Eri was. He walked up to her and smiled "Eri we need to go because I have something's to do and I know you want to come with me."

He looked Ochaco "You're more than welcome to come with us since Katsumi has some personal things to do today."

Ochaco smiled and nods when she saw that Eri was nodding for her to come with them. Ten minutes later they were outside the police department and saw a woman standing outside the door. The woman had short black chin length hair, black eyes, slightly tanned skin, and stood at 5'8". Izuku walked up to her "Are you Detective Tsukauchi?"

The woman nods "I take it that you're Izuku Midoriya and the little girl in your arms is Eri. Though I don't know who the girl on your back is."

Izuku nods and smiles "The girl on my back is Ochaco Uraraka and she's someone that I meant in the entrance exam yesterday and now she's a friend."

Tsukauchi nods "Alright well here are the papers you asked me for earlier today."

Izuku takes the papers and put them in his small duffel bag before taking off roof jumping again. Thirty minutes late he was walking into Recovery Girls' office with Ochaco following behind him. Izuku saw the elderly healer "Hello again Recover Girl, I hope that Naomi told you about Eri and why I'm bringing her here?"

Recovery Girl looked at him and nods "Yes, now please take a sit with the girl on the bed and we'll get things started."

Izuku does as he's told and Ochaco sat down in a chair next to the bed he was in. Izuku noticed Eri had started to shake and he looked down at her only to see that she was looking around with frightened eyes. Izuku turned her so that she was looking at him "Eri I need you to calm down because I won't let anything bad happen to you remember?"

Eri calmed down slightly and nods Izuku smiled at her "I'm right here and I will even show you that Recovery Girl won't hurt you if you want me too."

Eri looked at him "I would like that very much."

Izuku nods and looked over at Recovery Girl "I need you to get out two of everything that you need to run the check up on Eri because I'm going to have you run them on me too."

Recovery Girl didn't even look because she knew why Izuku was doing this and nods "Sure thing young man."

Ten minutes later Izuku was having his blood taken. Eri was watching him and he smiled "I told you that you have nothing working about Eri, she won't hurt you."

Eri nods and waits for Recovery Girl to take her blood while holding Izuku's hand in a tight grip. The whole check up took about an hour but when they were done Recovery Girl told him that outside of her needing some full meals and some time she was in perfect physical health. Izuku smiled and thanked her. As Izuku and Ochaco walked out he smiled at Eri "Well how about we go get some ice cream and get you some new clothes?"

Eri nods and they walked to the mall before getting some ice cream. Twenty minutes later they had walked into a clothing store and started getting some clothes for Eri. He also saw some things that Ochaco kept looking at with want in her eyes so when she wasn't looking he grabbed them and put them in the shopping cart that he was pushing around. When they got to the checkout line Ochaco started seeing the things she wanted to see and looked at Izuku "I can't let you get those for me."

Izuku smiled at her "Don't worry about, in fact just think about it like this, you get these as a thank you for helping me with getting things for Eri."

Ochaco sighed and smiled "Fine I'll let you get away with it this time."

Izuku smiled and they all went back to his place. Izuku was told he couldn't make dinner for them tonight because Ochaco wanted to give her hand a try at it but she wanted Inko's help in case she didn't know what she should do about something. So Izuku spent that time playing with Eri instead. Izuku spent an hour in a half playing while the ladies were cooking dinner. When they were done Ochaco came out "It's done you two so come eat."

Izuku smiled "We'll be there in a minute; we need to wash our hands first."

Izuku took Eri to that bathroom and washed their hands. Five minutes later everyone was sitting at the table. Izuku smiled "Hey Ochaco what did you make or did you and my mom help each other with everything?"

Ochaco blushed lightly "I made the steak on your plate."

Izuku looked down and nods "Thank you for the food."

With that Izuku cut off a piece of his steak and ate it. After chewing it and swallowing he looked at Ochaco "This is really good Ochaco!"

Ochaco smiled and blushed "Thank you for saying that but I still think your mom's cooking is better."

Izuku nods "Well that makes sense because she's had years of experience over you so her cooking would taste better but that's not a reason to be modest about this."

Inko smiled at her son "He's right Ochaco, I've been cooking for years and you told me that you only started about two years ago, plus you said this was your first time cooking a steak."

Izuku's eyes widen when he heard this "You never made steak before tonight? That makes this even better because I can honestly say that there's only one thing different between this one and my mom's, and that is that she has more experience so she's slightly better with the seasonings but this is still really good. Actually if I didn't know you personally I'd think mom was teaching someone her cooking skills."

Ochaco's blush kept getting deeper the more he complimented her cooking but she couldn't stop smiling. A couple of minutes later Izuku looked over at Eri and saw that she was having some trouble with eating since she couldn't properly reach the plate from where she was sitting. Izuku smiled and picked her plate up since he was done and put it on top of his. He then picked Eri up and put her on his lap before starting to feed her and wiping her face whenever she had some food that didn't get into her mouth. Thirty minutes later everyone was done eating and Izuku was in the kitchen washing dishes after he had put dinner away. Eri was sitting on the counter next to him and watching what he was doing "Deku, what are you doing?"

Izuku looked at her "I'm cleaning the dishes so that we can use them again next time. Now why did you call me Deku?"

Eri shrugged "It's easier to say that your real name for me."

Izuku smiled and dried his hands before putting one on her head "It's alright Eri, I was just curious about why you had changed what you called me is all."

Eri nods and Izuku finished the dishes before picking Eri up and walking into the living room. Izuku sat down next to Ochaco on the couch with Eri curled up on his lap. Izuku cleared his throat to get everyone's attention "I have something that three of us here need to talk about, Mom, Eri this involves the both of you along with me. Ochaco, Eri, and I stopped at the police department on our way to see Recovery Girl earlier today and I was given some paper. These papers are what we need to talk about, mom they're adoption papers. I talked to Naomi and the only way I can bring Eri with me is if she's my daughter so I wanted to ask her what she wanted with the both of you in the room so that we would all know her decision."

Eri pulled on Izuku shirt and motioned for him to lean down so he did. When his ear was low enough for her to whisper "I want you to be my papa."

Izuku smiled and kissed the top of her head "Well that means you're now Eri Midoriya. I'll fill out the paper work before I go to bed and I'll take it to the police department on the way to work Monday."

Inko and Eri nods before everyone started to relax. An hour later Izuku tapped Eri on her shoulder "You should have grandma or Ochaco take you to get a bath before we go to bed sweetie."

Eri nods and gets up before grabbing Inko's hand "Can you help me with a bath grandma?"

Inko nods and they walked to the bathroom while Ochaco and Izuku kept watching TV. A couple of minutes later Ochaco glanced at Izuku "So Deku, why did you ask about adopting Eri with me here when it was a family matter?"

Izuku smiled "I honestly didn't see any reason to ask you to give us some privacy when you would have found out one way or the other; the fun part will be telling Katsumi about this."

Ochaco giggled "Yeah that's going to be an interesting talk between the two of you. Though I do wonder where why she wasn't here today."

Izuku smiled "She was spending today with her family today, she should be around tomorrow and I'll tell her about this when I see her tomorrow."

Ochaco was about to say something when the bathroom door opened and Eri can running up to Izuku in her new pajamas which had unicorns and rainbows on it. Izuku picked her up and put her on his lap "Do you want to go to bed now sweetie?"

Eri yawns before nodding and putting her arms around Izuku's neck "Night night Chaco, grandma."

Inko and Ochaco bid them good night and Izuku took Eri to his room so they could sleep. Izuku was woken up by his phone ringing the next morning. He grabs it and answered "Naomi, why are you calling me at 6 in the morning on my day off?"

Naomi giggled "I'm calling to tell you that you're in and that you need to be here tomorrow so that you can get the two recommended students moved into their rooms. Also you'll need to get your room ready for you and Eri if she's come with you."

Izuku sat up "She's coming with me and I'll swing by today to get my student ID later when I come by to give you the adoption papers."

Naomi hummed "Good, I'll see you later than Izuku."

Naomi hung up an Izuku got out of bed before going to brush his teeth and start making breakfast for everyone. Twenty minutes later Izuku went to get Eri up and brought her out to kitchen so they could eat. He saw that Ochaco and his mom were already were sitting at the table eating their own breakfast. Ten minutes after they finished eating breakfast Izuku was getting his shoes on while Ochaco was getting herself and Eri ready because they were going out to run some errands with Izuku. Izuku had on a black muscle shirt, black jeans, red shoes, and a red belt. His jacket was emerald green matching his eyes and the highlights in his hair. Ochaco came out with Eri. Ochaco was wearing a pink tee shirt, blue jeans, and black slip on boots. Eri was wearing a yellow sun dress with flowers on it. Izuku looked at them and smiled "Are you two ready to go?"

They nod and Izuku picked his daughter up before walking out the door. When they were on the sidewalk he looked at Ochaco "Do the two of you want to walk or roof hop?"

The girls looked at each other and Eri looked at her papa "We just want to walk today."

Izuku nods and they start walking towards the police department. Thirty minutes later they walked up to the front desk "Excuse me I'm here to turn in paper work that allows me to adopt the little girl in my arms, I talked to a Detective Tsukauchi about this yesterday. Can I file these with you or do I need to talk to him again?"

The lady behind the desk smiled "No you can file that paper work right here with me, Detective Tsukauchi told me that you would be showing up either today or tomorrow with some adoption papers about a girl you helped the other day even though we didn't have anything on file about her when this happened Recovery Girl sent over the results of her check up and blood work so that means that you can adopt her know. I just need to file the paper work and you can go on with your day."

Izuku nods and hands over the adoption papers before bidding the woman a good day and walking away with Ochaco beside him. About an hour later they walked into UA and Izuku had Ochaco follow him to Naomi's office. It took them ten minutes to get there and Izuku knocked and waited until Naomi called him in, he walked in and gave her the approved adoption papers that he got from the police woman before. Naomi looked them over and nods before handing him is student ID "They all seem to be in order and I will put these in your file so Eri is welcome to move into your dorm room tomorrow."

Izuku nods and walks out of her office after taking his student ID and motions Ochaco to follow him. He gave her a quick tour of the school so she knew how to get to both hero classes, and how to get to the cafeteria and to both the first year hero course dorms. The whole tour took about forty minutes after that they went home and this time the girls wanted to roof hop so it only took them ten minutes to get back to Izuku's house because Eri wanted him to go slow so that she could look around while he jumped so that meant that he couldn't use his quirk or going at his top speed. When they got back to the house Izuku smiled as Eri pulled into the living room because she wanted to draw with him. This is how Izuku spent three hours until Katsumi walked through the door. Izuku looked at her and smiled before motioning her to come over and sit down next to him. She did that and Izuku kissed her on her cheek "I wanted to tell you something but I thought that it would be easier to hear in person. I talked to Naomi and Eri will be joining us at UA but the only way that would work is if she had a parent that worked there and since I'll still be a UA staff member I adopted her so that she can come with me since she doesn't seem to be comfortable with other people. So I wanted to tell you this in person because I thought that it be too impersonal to do this over the phone."

Katsumi kissed his cheek "I'm glad that you told me in person and I'm not upset that you decided to adopt Eri. I do however wish you had included me in the discussion where you decided this."

Izuku smiled "I would have but you were spending time with your family yesterday and I didn't want to interrupt that."

Katsumi shook her head "Well that explains why you didn't tell me about it. I wish that you had waited a day so that I could have been here for it."

Izuku chuckled "I couldn't have waited because I got a call from Naomi this morning and I got into UA but I have to be there tomorrow so that I can help the two recommended students move into their dorms."

Katsumi smiled at her boyfriend "That means you get to meet everyone else first so you can tell me who you think would be a good person to team up with when you're not around."

Izuku nods "Sure I'll do that but I would need to know their quirks first so you might have to wait until after our first combat course before that unless we get Aizawa than I could tell you after the first day since she does a quirk application test."

Katsumi nods and leans into him "Fine but I don't see why you can't just read about their quirks in their student files since you are a UA staff member."

Izuku sighed "I wish but I can't because that-"

He was cut off when his work phone beeped. Izuku pulled it out of his bag and saw that it was a text from Naomi. He opened the message "Yes you can read their files but only for their quirks unless something comes up where I feel you need to know more about them. I've sent you a list of your classmates, their pictures, and their quirks for you to read."

Izuku blinked three times "I stand corrected; Naomi just sent me their names, pictures, and quirks. That's all I'm allowed to have unless she says otherwise but still I didn't think I'd actually be allowed to read any of their files."

Izuku starts going through the list of names and quirks when he stops on one. He clicked on the picture and showed it to his girlfriend "You can work with this girl. Her name is Eshima Kirishima and her quirk is a different version of my armament haki, because it allows her to turn her body stone like. She'd be a great person for you to work with because she can tank your blows for a time so that means that you can have her hold a villain that's too fast for the both of you to fight along."

Katsumi nods "Good that means if we get to chose teams and I want to team with someone else she's someone I can pick. Is there any more?"

Izuku nods "Yeah one more that I think you'd work well with. Her name is Seina Todoroki and her quirk is half cold half hot. That means she can freeze an enemies feet before you hit them with an explosion."

Katsumi smirked "That would make for an awesome attack and she would be the third best partner to team with."

Izuku chuckled "I figured you'd say something like that. Anyway it's about time for dinner, am I cooking tonight mom?"

Inko shook her head "Nope, Katsumi, Eri, Ochaco and I are making dinner for you tonight so you just stay here and let us take care of everything."

Izuku nods and kisses the top of Eri's head before kissing Katsumi and letting them work on dinner. Izuku sat in the recliner that he got to replace the one his dad brought before he left them and started working on some of his notebooks about all the quirks he's seen used by heroes or villains. For the heroes he was working out ways to work with them and ways to improve them. For the villains he was working out ways to defend against them and ways to fight around them while rescuing civilians. About an hour later Eri ran in and jumped into Izuku's arms "Papa dinner is ready and I hope that you like it."

Izuku nods with a smile "I'm sure I'll love it since three girls that I love made it and a friend that I'm happy to have meant made it for me."

Eri looked at Izuku and titled her head "Papa what are you doing with your lips?"

Izuku shook his head "I'll tell you later for now let's just have some dinner ok sweetheart?"

Eri nods and Izuku carries her into the dining room and sees several different versions of his favorite food, katsudon. Izuku looked at all of them and smiled "Thank you all for this, now let's eat."

Everyone sat down and started to eat with Eri, Katsumi, and Ochaco putting a little of all three types of katsudon that they made on his plate. Izuku tried Ochaco's first and was really surprised at how good it tasted before finishing it. When he was done he looked at Ochaco "That was really good Ochaco, thank you."

Ochaco smiled and blushed "You're welcome Deku."

Izuku got to the one Katsumi made and smirked when he saw that it was drowning in hot sauce "Let me guess you're thinking that I was going to see this and give it to you?"

Katsumi pouted because she knew that he was going to eat it since he figured it out "Dang it, I thought that you'd let me have it when you saw the hot sauce."

Izuku pulled out one bite and gave the rest to his girlfriend "All you had to do was ask babe."

At that point Izuku got to the one his daughter made him and smiled before taking a bite. He froze because of how sweet it was letting him know that she basically cooked it in sugar only. He forced himself to finish that bite and kissed Eri on the top of her head "Thank you for your katsudon sweetie it was the best one I've ever had. In fact I'd like to have some more of yours and Ochaco's please."

Inko knew what her son was doing and couldn't be prouder of him at the moment because she knew that Eri's katsudon was horrible. The other two also knew this and couldn't believe that he could eat that and smile like it was the greatest thing on the planet. Izuku managed to eat the entire amount of katsudon that Eri made him for dinner before sitting back and rubbing his stomach "That was really good, thank you for the meal Eri."

Eri hugged her father "I'm happy you liked it papa. I made this as a thank you for breakfast this morning."

Izuku hugged her back "Eri you don't have to make me food as a thank you, I'm more than happy to do anything for you."

The three women smiled at this while Katsumi and Ochaco had the same thought pass through their brains 'He makes a great father.'

That thought made the both of them blush. They looked at each other and Katsumi sent Ochaco a smile and nodded to her showing that she had a shot at being with Izuku if he wanted a relationship. Ochaco smiled back and mouthed 'Thank you.'

Izuku saw the whole exchange and smiled before turning away so they wouldn't notice. He also saw that his mom notice the entire thing and put his finger to his lips and smiled when she nodded to him. Izuku looked down and saw that his daughter had fallen asleep on his lap. He got up and took her to his room before putting her on the bed and tucking her in, he also kissed her forehead before walking out and gently closing the door so he didn't wake her. When he got back to the dining room Ochaco looked at him "How did you eat the katsudon that Eri made you, we all saw how she cooked that and Katsumi and I know that it couldn't have been as good as you made it out to be."

Izuku smiled "I was able to eat it for the same reason my mom ate the terrible breakfast I made her when I was ten. The reason for that is because no matter how bad the food is, it can't match the fact that your own child took the time to make you something to eat for a change."

Katsumi and Ochaco looked at him with wide eyes. Inko smiled "When did you figure it out?"

Izuku chuckled "Tonight. I made myself the same breakfast I made you that morning and I was sick for a week straight. I could never figure out why you ate it or how you didn't get sick by it until I took the first bite of Eri's tonight. The sad part is I think her cooking was still better than mine and I was four years older than her when I tried."

Katsumi raised an eyebrow "What do you mean by that?"

Izuku smirked "I made her pancakes and I used baking soda instead of eggs. Eri just used sugar instead of salt, which one do you think would be worse?"

Ochaco and Katsumi agreed that Izuku's would have been the worse one to eat. Izuku looked at the time "I'm heading to bed, are you staying over tonight babe?"

Katsumi nods "Yeah, I'm in your room again?"

Izuku nods "Yeah just let me get Eri so I'm close by in case she has a nightmare."

Izuku walks back to his room and gets his daughter before walking into the living room and putting her on his lap as he sits in the recliner since he wasn't ready to go to sleep yet. Katsumi came out to get a glass of water an hour later and saw Izuku asleep with Eri curled up on his torso while he was still in the recliner. She smiled and leaned against the door frame to watch them for a few minutes. After she finished her glass of water she put it in the sink and went back to bed after kissing Izuku on the forehead and whispering "Good night love."
