"By… the Architect. What exactly happened to them…?", silence was Nia's only answer for a long moment as the Gormotti all but stared at the pair that was seemingly unconscious or asleep on the bed in front of her. After the whole incident, as well as the condition Mythra, Zeke and Pandoria had found them in, they had swiftly reached out for Nia's help in great concern, hoping she could somehow use her healing powers on the pair.

But they were not hurt.

For there they were, both Pyra and Rex lying nestled together with their arms wrapped around each other in a vice like grip, even as they remained unresponsive. Or at least, almost…

"Try as you will, regardless how much you tug at them, they keep holding on to each other like glue. It was certainly an adventure to try and get them here in this state…", Zeke was slightly rubbing a hand against the back of his head as he recalled the previous events. After what felt like hours of wandering around within that cave to try and find both Pyra and Rex, a huge burst of flames suddenly erupted at the end of the seemingly endless corridor which they had been wandering, and before long, there they were. Lying in each other's arms, nestled together on top of a small podium within what he presumed was the true ritual chamber.

And the moment Mythra caught even a mere glimpse of the glowing part of Pyra's own core crystal upon Rex's chest, she almost fainted, if it weren't for their peculiar position and condition. Albeit concerning the latter, nobody was truly sure. For two days whole, they did not awaken from their slumber, but even so, their breathing was calm, peaceful almost, and not the slightest trace of an injury was visible on either of them.

Once again, just as Nia tried to move Rex just a little bit to face towards her, so she may have a better look upon the core crystal upon his chest, Pyra immediately, yet unconsciously, pulled him closer against herself to prevent him from separating from her, her expression almost changing into a mixture of desperation and annoyance at the intruding attempt to shift Rex away from her. The longer Nia stared at Pyra, and the way she was holding Rex against herself as if her life depended on it, a sudden and uncalled memory appeared in her mind.

Back then, Nia had almost feared that she had lost Pyra when Tora convinced her to let him train her in the arts of blushy crushy.

'If you master the arts of blushy crushy, all men are bound to be falling to your feet!'

Having rather liked to simply shrug and roll her eyes, Nia slowly but surely perked up from her seat with widening eyes once she witnessed the way Pyra was staring back at Tora. Her eyes were almost looking through the small Nopon, as if she were lost in an imaginary dream world of her own. And Nia began to fear for the worst.

'A-all men…?'

'Of course! Rex is boy as well, he cannot resist the charms of blushy crushy either…'

Pyra's eyes seemed to widen with a gleam, and to Nia's horror, her fears were soon bound to become a reality.

'Pyra, don't! Return to us while you still can!'

She could remember how hard the Aegis had tried to master the art of blushy crushy, however, now that she looked back at Pyra, this was less her expression of blushy crushy, for it was far more along the lines of if you even look at my Rex I will burn you to ashes. And she was unsure how to process that exactly…

'Who could have known that something like this was hiding deep within her…'

Nia grinned with a knowing and mischievous smile, and it only widened ever so slightly once she witnessed the way Pyra was subconsciously trying to hold Rex even closer against herself. Architect, she cursed herself for having missed the whole ordeal… albeit she would make sure to tease Pyra about her… darker desires… once she was awake once more.

Pandoria internally squealed with barely suppressed glee as she watched the scene in front of her, giggling slightly into her hands. Mythra, on the other hand, couldn't tear her eyes away either from the pair as she held a hand against her waist. And neither could she hide the small smile that was upon her lips, even as she tried to mask it with her usual demeanor. Knowing that, after everything her sister had endured, Pyra could finally leave all of her worries behind and simply be together with him…

Her original plan might have backfired and she couldn't claim that she had been much of a help when it concerned the ritual, but she still tried to convince herself that she had at least managed to set everything into motion. And, somehow, she couldn't wait until they would both finally wake up once more, she had a feeling that a lot would be different from now on.

She closed her eyes briefly before she suddenly turned and left the room without saying a word, much to the surprise of the others. Thus, just as Nia pulled her hand away with a slight frown, it was Zeke who decided it would be best to leave them be for now.

"Perhaps it's best not to bother them by the looks of it. We'll make sure to keep an eye on them from time to time until they finally wake up.", Nia shrugged ever so slightly after a small moment of silence before they all left the room that was provided for Pyra and Rex. Albeit, suddenly, Zeke was the last one who halted just in front of the entrance before he took a last glance at the sleeping pair of the Aegis and her driver.

"Well there, chump, looks like I've missed the whole thing.", he wished he could have witnessed it first hand, even if only to see for himself what it would be like. But as he regarded the both of them, he felt that he didn't need to anymore. The raw feelings a blade was holding for their driver…

"Take good care of him, will you?", regarding the way Pyra held on to Rex in such a manner, Zeke didn't disturb them any longer and walked out of the room as well, leaving them to themselves.

Truly, the word inseparable would gain a whole new meaning.
