Hey guys.
I'm back with some Edson (that's the ship name right?) goodies. I started writing this the other night after the most recent episode of SVU and finally managed to finish today!
Sometimes, Olivia just needs someone to take care of her.

I'll Take Care of You [Intimate Moments Collection]
The sun was starting to set and the temperature was dropping as evening set in. She'd been in this hostage situation for nearly three hours now as time dragged on. Vanessa was showing no signs of dropping this anytime soon, despite repeated attempts to talk with hostage negotiation. Even Olivia and all her de escalation tactics were starting to get old - at least in her mind - and she was exhausted.
Garland and Kat were outside along with other law enforcement, working tirelessly to figure out where Vanessa's son was in order to get them into contact with one another, hopefully to end this peacefully. Vanessa was reaching her breaking point, and Olivia was so desperately trying as hard as she could to stop her from going off the deep end. They had a lengthy conversation about how Vanessa had been taking care of everyone else and not herself, and suddenly Olivia felt like she was looking in a mirror.
Wasn't she someone that was always taking care of everyone else before taking care of herself?
She sighed to herself as she leaned her hand on her elbow. Vanessa was simply leaned against the counter, drink in one hand as the gun remained on the counter in front of her. Olivia tried to think of what to say next, only to have her thoughts interrupted when her phone began buzzing with a new call;
'Edgar [My Love]'
A sudden lump formed in her throat. It was nearing six in the evening on a Wednesday night; he was probably calling to see if she'd left work yet. They had talked briefly earlier in the day and she told him she would call if she had to work late. Usually, she would have called by now to say so, so the fact that he was calling now meant that he was probably concerned, wondering where she had gotten to or if she had gotten tied up.
It broke her heart that she couldn't answer the phone. She had to keep the phone line open in case of hostage negotiation or in case they found Vanessa's son.
Her phone buzzed again and a new notification brought tears to her eyes 'Voicemail - Edgar [My Love]'
She still didn't quite know how this situation would go, but there was always a risk involved. She had known Vanessa for many, many years, but yet this Vanessa that she was faced with now was a woman that had reached her breaking point and wasn't afraid of going down, even if it meant taking an NYPD captain down with her. As she sat there and stared at her phone screen - the notification of the missed call, the voice mail, and the background image from their family trip to Connecticut the other weekend - a wave of panic and sadness rushed over her. She had been through so much and had just found the love of her life within the last couple years, had only just married him within the last year and gotten everything that she had hoped for and more.
The thought of never seeing him or their son again - the thought of never having that family dynamic again - made her feel sick.
She looked at the screen again and tapped a few times. She needed him to know. One simple text;
'I love you. Always'
Edgar was just gathering up his things to leave work when his phone pinged with a new text; 'Liv [Mine] - iMessage'
He had a plan; pick up dinner and some flowers for his wife then head home to relieve their babysitter so she could be on her way. He had been a little concerned that he hadn't heard much from Olivia today, and his concern spiked a little when she hadn't answered the phone either. He figured that maybe she had gotten tied up with something and had been unable to talk, so he left her a simple voicemail and went about gathering his things.
However, nothing prepared him for the level of anxiety that would flood through him when he read the simple, yet unnerving text from his wife; 'I love you. Always'
Something was wrong.
As he grabbed his briefcase and headed out of his office, he scrolled through his phone. He thought about calling Fin first until he remembered that her loyal Sergeant was currently on a mini vacation with his fiancee. So, he went with the next person: her supervisor and his good friend, Christian Garland.
It was on the second ring when the line clicked; "Ed, man this isn't a good-"
"What's going on with my wife?" Edgar didn't even let Garland get his words out; "Christian, is Olivia okay? Just tell me…"
The deep sigh that fell from Christian's lips caused knots to form in Edgar's stomach. He pressed the button for the elevator again, his voice shaking a little; "Man, what is-"
"Let me start off by saying she's not hurt…" were the next words from Christian. He then went onto explain the situation; Olivia was being held as hostage as she attempted to stop a local restaurant owner from doing something drastic. Edgar felt like he was going to be sick at the words. Olivia? Hostage situation?
His wife was being held hostage?
He swallowed the bile in his throat, and bit back every urge to protest when Christian told him to go home and make sure Noah wasn't seeing this on the news and worrying. Edgar shakily nodded his head; he needed to go home and make sure their son was okay.
But he had anxiety flooding through him like no other. His wife was being held hostage? He had just found the love of his life, and now he was scared of losing her.
"Promise me you'll get her out in one piece?" His voice was full of desperation; "Promise me Christian? I can't lose her. I just found her."
"I promise, man; we'll get her outta this and she will be home to you in one piece…" there was a brief pause then he spoke; "Off the record, keep praying."
The two rounded off the call as the elevator doors pinged open on the ground floor. As Edgar made his way to his car, he rubbed his head as he prayed for peace and safety.
"God please, bring her home to me and Noah."
Four hours of intense negotiations later and Olivia was finally emerging from the restaurant. Both she and Vanessa had their hands up as she barked orders for police to lower their weapons and not shoot. As Vanessa was ushered away by police officers, Garland placed his hand on Olivia's back;
"You okay?"
Olivia looked up at him, she didn't know how to answer that. Garland gave her a nod and told her to take a few days. Olivia didn't dare argue; she couldn't argue. This had been so incredibly overwhelming and frightening and draining; she needed a few days off.
"Let someone take care of you."
Garland's words filtered into her ear. She looked up at him as he gave her a look back; they both knew who was going to take care of her.
She gave him another nod before starting to walk down the street. Her car was right down the street at the precinct. She had to collect her car and get home ASAP. She needed to hug and kiss her son.
She really needed to hug and kiss her husband.
She ran on autopilot as the time passed in a blur of car lights and sirens and anything related to the city. She made it home within the next half hour and before long, she found herself making her way into her apartment. She had just hung up her coat when she heard footsteps coming towards her.
She turned and there it was; that look of pure relief in her husband's teary eyes. She couldn't even speak for a moment. All she could do was step closer as her bottom lip trembled.
Edgar stepped closer, his voice no higher than a whisper; "Liv...baby."
He then pulled her against him, and she buried her face into his chest as she finally let out all the pent up emotion she'd kept down all afternoon. As his arm circled her waist and his hand cradled the back of her head, she simply slipped her arms around him and gripped his shirt, her body shaking as she took a couple deep breaths. She needed to breathe in his scent; she needed to be reminded that all was well and that she was where she was meant to be - at home, with her little family.
"Shh…" he whispered to her, his lips brushing against her forehead; "You're okay, baby; you're home now. You're safe."
It took a few moments before Olivia was able to calm down enough. She took another breath then lifted her head while mumbling; "Noah...I need...did he see-"
"He didn't see the news or anything; I told him you were working late…" he whispered as he squeezed her a little tighter; "Breathe; go see him. I'll make you some tea or-"
"No...no tea...I just…" she shook her head, and she looked up at him; "I'll come to bed after I see him, just please, meet me in there?'
Edgar nodded, then gave her a quick kiss. Olivia allowed the kiss to linger for a little before pulling away properly, and she dragged her hand over his cheek before finally pulling away properly. She wiped her eyes then made her way down to the space themed bedroom, and the tears came once again when she saw her son sleeping peacefully amongst the spaceship themed sheets and blankets and pillows.
She went over and sat along the side of his bed before giving him a kiss on his forehead. He stirred a little, and his eyes opened slightly. He blinked a couple times then gave her a sleepy smile as he quietly spoke; "Hi Momma; did you solve the case?"
Olivia nodded her head, and plastered a smile onto her face; "I did...and now I'm off for a couple days."
Noah smiled even more; "You can take me to school tomorrow?"
"I sure can…" she brushed some of his curls back; "Maybe me and Dad both can."
Noah playfully punched the air, which earned a little laugh from Olivia in between her sniffling away. Noah then leaned up and wrapped his arms around her for a hug, and he kissed her cheek. Olivia turned her head and pressed her lips to his temple then whispered; "I love you."
"I love you too, Momma." Noah quietly replied. He hugged her again before laying back down properly. Olivia tucked him in once more and stayed with him until he was asleep again. Once he nodded off, she once again allowed a couple more tears to slip down her cheeks. God, she was so glad to be at home with her husband and son. She needed this. She needed her family to keep her grounded.
But right now, she needed her husband most of all.
She made her way out of Noah's room while shutting the door behind her. She then made her way further down the hall to the bedroom she shared with Edgar, and she shut and locked the door behind her. Edgar had put her bag to the side and was laying out some clothes for her to wear to bed.
She swallowed hard and made her way up to him, stopping him in his tracks. He turned to look at her, and she found herself instantly palming his face as she pressed her lips to his. He wrapped his arm around her as he instantly reciprocated the kiss, and she whimpered a little when she felt his tongue slide past her parted lips. His other hand slid down her hip until he was holding her ass in his hands, and she pushed herself against him some more.
She needed him.
He seemed to gain some sort of control first because he pulled back. They were both breathing heavily, and his eyes roamed over her glistening brown orbs and the swollen pink lips.
"Baby, tell me what you need." He quietly spoke.
"You…" she quietly spoke, her bottom lip trembling ever so slightly as she held him; "I need you."
Edgar knew what that meant, and if he was being totally honest, he needed her too. They'd both been tossed in a realm of fear and uncertainty tonight, so they needed each other to feel grounded tonight. To remind each other that things were okay now. That they were safe. That they still had time - together.
He kept his eyes on hers as he unclipped her badge and her gun for her. He put it aside on their dresser, then he pulled her to him again. He kept his eyes on hers as his hands curled around the hem of her shirt, and he pushed the material up until it slipped over her head and fell to the floor. She took a deep breath, then reached out and tugged his shirt over his head. She then slid her hands up his arms until they were resting on his shoulders, as his large hands grabbed her hips and began walking her backwards towards their bed.
She slid an arm up around his neck and stood on her toes until she was able to kiss him properly, and with a gentle nudge, the pair were soon sinking into their bed amongst their crisp sheets. The kisses grew increasingly passionate as hands roamed and tugged until clothes were strewn across the floor. Olivia whimpered against his lips when she felt those large hands grab her thighs to hike her legs up around his torso. He then grabbed her hand and laced their fingers, running his thumb over the thin band on her finger as he held her hand over her head while the other remained on her thigh.
"Tell me." he whispered.
She softly bit her lip; she knew what he meant. She tilted her head and kissed him ever so softly, then she whispered; "Fuck me."
Bullseye. That was all he needed.
He pressed his lips to hers for another passionate kiss, thus muffling the scream that ripped from her throat as he pushed into her, filling her completely in one swift movement. He took a moment to refrain from moving. He could feel her tensing around him so he knew she needed a moment to simply relax around him and adjust to his size. It didn't matter how long they'd been together; she would never be used to his size. Yet, she loved the way he stretched her and filled her completely as he hovered over her, protecting her with his tall frame. She always felt safest when she was either wrapped up in his arms or beneath him like this.
It took a few more moments of kisses and soft touches before Olivia felt ready enough. She tightened her legs around him some, and Edgar gave her a small smile as he squeezed her hand. His thrusts were slow and gentle, allowing them to fall into the gentle rhythm. She gave him a little smile in return before kissing him again, mumbling ever so softly; "I love you...more than anything."
Edgar kissed her back in response as he began thrusting a little harder. One of her hands moved from his bicep to his back, and her nails dug into him as she felt a tingle all over her body. He squeezed her hand a little more while his other hand gripped her thigh tighter, his lips now dragging down her cheek and to that spot behind her ear that made her melt. She had so many overwhelming feelings racing throughout her body, causing her eyes to roll back in explicable, blinding pleasure.
The minutes ticked on; Edgar's thrusts grew stronger and faster. As he fucked her through another mini orgasm while repeatedly thrusting against that spot deep inside her body, she whimpered and cursed and gripped onto him tighter. Her fingers dragged up his back until she was gripping the back of his neck, and she lifted her head just a little as she once again started kissing and nipping at his lips. His fingers gripped her hips just a little tighter, and she felt that stir in her lower belly, an indication of what was about to happen.
Edgar felt her tensing up around him. He squeezed her hand tighter while hiking her leg up around him more, allowing him to plunge deeper into her. Her head fell back and her eyes rolled as wave after wave of pleasure began washing over her at a rapid pace. Her nails scratched his back, and her hand squeezed his. She let out a whimper when she heard him whisper in her ear; "I'm here, baby; just let go."
A couple more thrusts and the feeling of his teeth nipping at her neck was enough to send her over the edge; a scream of his name tore from her lips. Her nails dragged down his back, leaving red lines in his back as she plunged into the pits of orgasmic bliss. Her muscles contracted violently, locking him into her core as her body trembled with release. The feeling of her muscles tensing like this was almost too much for Edgar, leading him to thrust a little faster as he continued to fuck her through the powerful orgasm.
She had just barely calmed down when he gripped her thigh a little tighter. His thrusts were rapid as he chased his own orgasm. He grunted in her ear and nipped at her skin, until he suddenly stilled until he suddenly groaned her name; "Olivia."
Her nails dug into him again and her eyes fluttered shut as she felt his seed trickling into her. She clung to him for dear life, her lips pressed against his shoulder as a warm feeling spread throughout her body. Little tears gathered in her closed eyes; she was home, she was safe - everything was okay.
And now everything was hitting her at once..
It took a few moments before things calmed down. Edgar shifted to slip out of her and rolled to her side, and Olivia wasted no time in curling up in his arms. Her legs tangled with his and her arm was draped across his torso as her face was buried into his neck as he simply held her in his arms.
Edgar squeezed her a little tighter; "It's okay; you're safe now...we're here...we're together…" He kissed her forehead; "Let it out; I'm right here."
And with that, she finally did exactly what she needed to do.
She cried.
And now, here we have it. Thanks guys for sticking with me as I write this little collection of one shots. I really enjoy writing them, honestly. Anyway, leave me some reviews and all that. Stay safe, and wear your mask! :)
