It was almost a year and every slave knew better than to try to best the combo of Mandalorian and Jedi. For most the novelty of it had worn off and their attention went to staying alive. According to Jango El would be an adult on Mandalore. But there was a problem, El was the only 'she' in a hut full of 'hes".

The problem of being the only female in an area where there was supposed to only be males was that eventually someone would notice. And one day another slave did. It was when El had been in yet another rock slide and her shirt had torn, revealing the hints of a different anatomy.

A Trandoshan called Canor jumped on this immediately and tried to pull off the rest of her shirt growling about having a piece if this really was a female. Once again Jango was on the move jumping in front of her, "Do not touch my riduur." Everyone stopped, he had just used Mandalorian for lover or spouse. No one dared to get between the warriors and those they loved, which subdued the other slaves for now. But for how long?

Everyone expected Jango Fett to leave as soon as possible but he did not. Soon they found a pattern of where he was and it added to the rumors because he always seemed to be close to General Statarius, the Jedi he had jumped into the fight to protect. And she seemed to accept his presence as a matter of course, even saying his name a few times without looking up. It only took her hand on Primes arm to stop any contention he was in danger of starting.

El smiled at the Troops who stopped talking as she approached with her hand on Boba's shoulder. He ignored them and spoke, "Is it true you can beat Dad in a fight?"

She laughed, "I have a few times." Then looking down at his face, "But it has been a while since Jango and I have sparred which I won." Smiling at the look on the boys face, "Are you going to arrange a rematch?"

Jango spoke then, "I don't know if that's a good idea." Boba looked at him affronted but eased as he continued, "Your back is just healed. We don't want to break them open too soon."

Giving him a sidelong look that let him know retribution was coming she answered, "You weren't worried about that on our wedding night."

Boba let out a strangled squawk, "Your married?!"

Very well aware the troopers were also listening Jango went red, "No we're not. We never were."

Looking offended, "But you've claimed me as you riduur." El answered with a slight plaintive note.

Starting to blush sightly Jango answered, "To keep the Trandoshan from pawing you."

Smiling again she wrapped an arm around his waist, "I know Jang. But you need to remember not tor try to beat me in a teasing war."

Raising the arm not wrapped around her shoulders solemnly, "Never again." Both were laughing about the old inside joke when he pulled Boba to his side, "Off to to training room we go." And the three continued down the corridor looking for all the world like a family on holiday.
