Chapter 7:
Lily led the Gryffindor's and the Slytherins to the center sink that didn't work and said, "Harry, speak in snake "open" to the sink." Harry nodded "Open" and the sink lowered so that they could all climb onto the sink. When the sink lowered to the bottom they got off and were greeted by a stone door with seven snakes. On accident, Lily spoke, "Open" and the door swung open. Ron raised his eyebrows and said to Lily "How did you do that?" Lily said, "You'll see" and continued down the stone hallway. When the group saw the statue of Salazar Slytherin Daphne spoke, "Ok, we should split up. Harry, Lily, Theodore, Blaise, and Ginny you guys go ahead, Draco, Ron, and, Pansy, and I will stay back at the stone door. Sound good to you Lily?" Lily nodded. So Harry went first into the Chamber and when he saw Claire he broke into a run. Harry sat next to Claire and said, "Claire… Claire… Claire Iris Evans wake up!" Lily looked up to see 16-year-old Tom Riddle standing by the statue of Salazar Slytherin. Lily said, "Father?" Harry and Ginny looked up and said, "WHAT!" Tom Riddle chuckled, "Harry Potter what a pleasure to finally meet you. I see you have met my daughter Lily Athena Riddle." Then he turned to Theodore and said, "Thank you for keeping my daughter safe." Theodore said, "Of course my Lord." Then Tom turned to Harry and said, "She will only wake up if you defeat the Basilisk." Then said to Theodore and Lily "Go back to the rest of your group."
A Few Moments Later…
A phoenix had dropped Harry the sorting hat and flew away. Tom said, "Speak to me, Slytherin, greatest of the Hogwarts Four." The snake came out of the statue's mouth and slithered towards Harry. The phoenix started to pluck the eyes out of the Basilisk and Harry grabbed the Gryffindor sword out of the Sorting Hat. He finally stabbed the Basilisk in the roof of the snake's mouth and the memory of Tom Riddle disappeared. The snake fell down and Harry grabbed Claire away from the snake and towards the rest of the group. Claire woke up and said, "Where am I?" Harry hugged his sister "In the Chamber of Secrets." Claire cried, "This is all my fault I didn't stay with a buddy when the attacks were happening." Harry said, "Let's go to the Headmaster." So the group walked back to the headmaster's office and Professor Dumbledore greeted them. "Ah, Ms. Ravenclaw, Mr. Potter thank you for saving Ms. Evans from the Heir of Slytherin. Who opened the Chamber?" Theodore stepped forward and said, "It was Tom Riddle sir. But he looked like his 16-year-old self." Dumbledore raised his eyebrows "You saw Tom Riddle as a 16-year-old?" "Yes sir" replied Theodore. Then Harry said, "I think Lily is the daughter of Tom Riddle." Dumbledore looked at Lily "Ms. Ravenclaw can you step into my office please." Lily followed Dumbledore into his office and Dumbledore said, "Ms. Ravenclaw is your father Tom Riddle?" "Well," Lily said, "My father is Tom Riddle, but my mother is Helen Ravenclaw." Dumbledore frowned "Lily, I suggest you not tell anyone this info…" But Lily stopped him, "I told my Slytherin friends." Dumbledore then said, "You can leave now." So Lily left Dumbledore's office and walked back to the Great hall with her friends to the end of the year feast. When they sat down Dumbledore said "I believe it is time to announce the House cup. With 234 points is Hufflepuff, with 345 points is Ravenclaw, with 406 points is… Gryffindor, and lastly with 445 points is Slytherin." The Slytherins jumped up and down yelling, "We beat Gryffindor!" Then Dumbledore said, "Everyone please head to your Dorms and collect your stuff." So Lily grabbed her stuff from her dorm and headed to Hogsmede station. Lily, Theodore, Blaise, Draco, Pansy, and Daphne sat in one of the compartments and talked until the Hogwarts express stopped at Platform 9 ¾ where Lily was picked up by her parents.
