Adrien was nearly falling asleep in class, and he wasn't the only one. Marinette was dozing off too, but the teacher didn't seem to care. Marinette was a straight A student, but Adrien was not. "M. Agreste!" Adrien shot up.

"Yes, Mme. Bustier?" Adrien asked.

"Now is not the time to sleep, especially with your grades," Mme. Bustier scolded. The class laughed. Marinette raised her head.

"Huh? What's funny?" Marinette groggily asked.

"Adrien just got told off by Mme. Bustier!" Alya quickly informed her, and chuckled. Marinette looked up at Adrien, clearly feeling bad for him, but not having the strength to do much about it. Plus, if she did, she would get in trouble, and Adrien didn't want that to happen. That's when Ryuko burst through the window.

"School's cancelled. And all you all are trapped," Ryuko declared. Marinette was suddenly full of energy and she burst up, trying to go out the door, but Ryuko turned into wind and materialized in front of her. "Did you not hear me?"

"Yes, I heard you, but seems like you're new to this whole supervillain thing," Marinette said. "People are going to try to escape. You have to put something on the line. You have to tell them that their dear superheroes are dead. If they aren't there will always be hope. So, clearly you're brand new at this." Wait- What? Was Marinette, aka Ladybug telling a supervillain how to be a VILLAIN? Dang.

"Well, what if I told you they are dead, the only hope for you to be let free is for me to get what I want," Ryuko said, turning her feet into water to make it so she towered over Marinette.

"I don't believe you," Marinette said.

"Why wouldn't you?"

"Because I'm still alive," Viperion said, leaning against the wall.

"I always have hope in our superheroes," Marinette said, a smirk on the edge of her mouth.

While Ryoku was distracted, Marinette rushed past her, not caring to look back. Adrien walked up to Ryoku and slapped her in the face. "You. Don't. Dare. Threaten. Marinette," Adrien hissed.

Ryoku narrowed her eyes. "What has happened to you?"

"I've become brand new." And with that, Adrien took off after Marinette.

It wasn't long before Ladybug showed up, and Ryoku proved a difficult opponent. Chat Blanc showed up, but was a total distraction, making it so Ryoku lost. Of course, they got away, but they had to throw in the towel. All because of Chat.

"What were you doing out there?!" Kagami said, loosing her transformation.

"You were going to hurt my class," Adrien said.

"I was going to get Ladybug to give up!" Kagami said.

"Kagami, I'm not a villain anymore!" Adrien shouted. Kagami stared at him, her mouth open like a fish.

"You're not telling me that you're… giving up? Are you?" Kagami looked at him.

"I never give up, I just found a different way." Adrien shuttered at the look Kagami was giving him.

"Well, then. I won't tell if you don't tell," Kagami said.

"What?"

"Lila. You know how she'd react if she knew you were going good. And don't forget the rest of the world. Our identities remain secret," Kagami explained.

"So, you're on my side?"

"I rather be on your side than Lila's. Besides, that gives you a reason to kill Hawkmoth," Kagami said, a smug smile on her face.

"Deal," Adrien said, reaching his hand out to shake Kagami's.

"Then a deal it is," Kagami said, taking his hand. She pulled his ear close to her mouth and whispered, "Once we're down this road, there is no turning back."

"I know," Adrien responded, voice low.

AN: Okay, not what I was expecting. I was actually going to do Adrien saying I won't tell anyone who you are if you don't tell anyone who I am, and then they agree to be enemies, and Adrien stops her before she leaves and tells her that if anyone is going to kill Ladybug, it's still him and that if she wants to kill Ladybug, she'll have to kill him first… SO, in short, not what I was planning. Welp. All well. Get ready for the next chapter! I will probably post it tomorrow, if not the next day. Bug out!
