Awakening of the lost
Bridgette was walking towards Marinette's school, as she had promised to come by with lunch, as the younger Cheng had forgotten it, as she had rushed out in the morning. She neared the entrance, when a silver car pulled up beside her. Out stepped none other than Gabriel Agreste, famous fashion designer.
"Miss Cheng, a word please?"
Bridgette nodded, clearly confused by this, but walked closer, nonetheless. Gabriel looked her over and hummed in an annoyed tone.
"Miss Cheng, I believe you have something that belongs to me"
Bridgette blinked at him, meeting his grey, cold eyes. That was when an image flashed in her mind, she took a step back, as she realized that it was Hawkmoth standing in front of her. Master Fu had told her a few days ago that she had potential to be a guardian, which meant that she could easily recognize another miraculous holder, or one who used to be one. She shook her head and looked at him determined.
"What makes you think I still have it, Ladybug and Chat Noir found me on a rooftop, blacked out after I escaped from you, the next thing I know, I woke up in a hospital"
Gabriel groaned in annoyance and was about to reach out for her, when she took another step back, out of his reach.
"May I ask you, why are you doing this in the first place?"
Gabriel snarled at her, clearly not happy about her question. As he looked at her, something inside him fell, he had heard Felix and Adrien talk about how she lost her parents. Maybe, just maybe she would understand.
"Want to combine the Ladybug and the Chat Noir miraculouses, together they grant a wish. I want to use the wish to get my wife back"
Bridgette blinked in slight shock by this. But something was making her ask, even though she knew it might be hurtful.
"What do you mean by get her back, is she dead or did she disappear?"
Gabriel sighed and looked down, clearly hurting from the memories and the somewhat loss of his beloved wife.
"She used the peacock miraculous, but it is broken, and she got sick, she is still alive, but she is in a form of magic coma, I just want to wake her"
Bridgette blinked up at him, she had been reading the book of the guardian. She remembered something about a curse that would be cast over a miraculous user, if the miraculous had been broken. She had to read a little more on that page, as she had read something about a cure. She looked up at the designer, smiling warmly at him.
"Gabriel, there might be a way to wake her, it is the miraculous curse. I will ask the guardian if I can have a look in his book to find the cure, but you have to be completely honest about everything regarding the miraculouses, would that be acceptable?"
The designer looked a bit shocked at her kindness. He nodded and she beamed up at him.
"Great, I will come by later, when I have looked in the book"
She turned around and walked towards the entrance of the school, leaving the eldest Agreste bemused by her perkiness. Surely his oldest son had found a good match in this kind girl.
Gabriel looked up, clearly confused, as Nathalie let four people into his home office.
"What are my sons doing here?"
Gabriel looked at the four, lifting an eyebrow. Bridgette crossed her arms and stared at him.
"I said complete honesty, so that means they also have to know"
Gabriel was simmering with anger, not happy about being given orders by a teenager.
"I do not see how that is going to help me"
Bridgette stepped closer and looked the oldest Agreste deep in the eyes, making his sons gulp.
"I am not helping you; I am doing this for her"
Gabriel looked at her, clearly confused. Bridgette sighed and pulled an old photo out of her pocket, before slamming it down on top of his desk. A photo she had found in one of the old photo albums her aunt had. Bridgette had been completely surprised by the picture, as it was of her mother and her mother's best friend. Bridgette had not dared telling anyone about the photo, so she had stayed quiet, but when Gabriel had confronted her earlier, she was reminded of the photo. The eldest Agreste looked it over, slowly paling. He looked up at the Bridgette, asking who was in the picture.
"My mother and her best friend, when they were in high school"
The eldest Agreste nodded and asked for them to follow him. What they soon saw made them all gasp in shock. There at the end of a long bridge walk was a glass chamber, and in the chamber laid none other than Emilie Agreste.
Bridgette looked at Marinette, who nodded slowly. They both turned to look at Gabriel, telling him to place the peacock miraculous on Emilie's chest. Both girls transformed and looked at one another. Marinette pulled an earring out and gave it to Gabriel, who carefully stuck it through his wife's ear. Marinette took Emilie's left hand, making a bridge of energy between them. Bridgette smiled and then made an akuma, which flew to the peacock miraculous. The others looked on, not knowing what was happening. They all gasped, as Bridgette got swallowed in a purple light. The bluenette closed her eyes, before opening them again. Felix gaped at his maybe-girlfriend (he had yet to ask her out), instead of her stormy blue eyes, they were glowing a deep purple. A soft red glow began to spread over Marinette's skin and slowly made its way to Emilie. Soon both purple and red light swirled and combined, glowing stronger. The light soon made a small explosion, making all three men close their eyes. The light pulsed, before being sucked into the peacock miraculous. Marinette fell to her knees in exhaustion, as the light disappeared. The akuma flew away from the miraculous and disintegrated into thin air. The three men looked at the scene, and gaped, as Emilie opened her eyes. She blinked, before turning to look at Bridgette, not many seconds later, the poor girl fainted. Felix stepped forward and lifted her off the ground, standing with her in his arms. Nooroo let the transformation drop, swirling around the teens before landing on Felix' shoulder. Marinette too dropped her transformation, only for Tikki to retrieve her earring. Emilie sat up slowly, blinking and looking around at the group of people. A soft groan caught Felix attention, making him look down. Bridgette opened her eyes softly, a shy smile on her lips.
"Did it work?"
He smiled down at her and nodded.
"Yeah, it worked just fine"
He pressed a soft kiss to her forehead, before turning to look at his parents, younger brother and Marinette. The later let out a massive yawn, slowly sitting down on the ground. Bridgette smiled softly at the younger girl, before turning her gaze to Gabriel.
"She needs rest, when she is fully rested, you need to get her checked for any kind of sickness, just to be sure that the miraculous did not make any other damage"
Gabriel nodded, before turning back to look at his wife in disbelief. Adrien reached out a hand for Marinette to take, pulling the sleepy girl to her feet. The two brothers were about to leave their parents, when their heard their mother speak.
"Isabel Montel, how…"
Bridgette gulped; all eyes were on the blond beauty.
"How come you look so young"
Bridgette tried to push down the sorrow but put on her best smile.
"A lot of people say I look like my mother. My name is Bridgette, but you can call me Madam Butterfly"
