Monica, Rider and Torrent were heading towards Spellbound to go for a group strike but all of the sudden, they were frozen in midair. They were all struggling to move and try to attack her.

"What the hell is happening? We can't move." Rider stated as he, Monica and Torrent continued trying to break free. They looked at Spellbound and she appeared to have her hand open and outward towards the three heroes. They noticed a pink color energy surrounding her hand and she decided to talk to the trapped heroes.

"I see you're not too experienced when it comes to magic based opponents. Let me properly introduce myself, my name is Spellbound and allow me to give you a lesson in what magic truly is." She then lifted her hand higher up in the air and forced it back down to drop them to the ground with tremendous force.

*SLAM*

The three slowly got up with Torrent's and Rider's armor having a few dents in their armor while Monica had a few scratches on her suit. Spellbound later slowly levitated downwards to the three and decided to mock them

"It's a real pity that we haven't met prior to this like I have with the Strider, otherwise it will feel so much more cathartic to kill you heroes." She then charged up a pink energy blast to fire three beams at them. Nova and Torrent were able to generate energy shields to block the incoming attack but Monica got hit with that blast. Both were surprised that she got hit with that blast but, it seemed that Monica wasn't hurt. The energy the Spellbound launched surrounded her and it appeared that it absorbed into her.

"Wait, you can absorb any energy-related attacks?" Torrent asked with genuine confusion while Rider looked at Monica with a dumbfounded expression.

"Yeah, I'm willing to guess if I would've fought Ventus in the barracks for a training session, I would've surprised even him." She got on both feet and stood tall and Torrent and Rider did the same soon after.

"Hmm..Maybe they're not as weak as I thought." Spellbound thought to herself as she summons a magic transmutation circle from the ground behind her and charges up more magic energy into herself. Torrent then materializes from her left arm an energy blade and her jet boosters on her back to charge towards her while Nova and Monica follow suit and bolted towards her as well. Spellbound used her specialized magic to create a blade from both of her hands and block Torrnet's blade attack and Nova's rush down tackle. The mage and the two heroes were struggling to overpower each other's clash, both sides barely to move even an inch forward while suddenly, Spellbound that shocked her beyond what she anticipated. She saw the third person was coming towards her, but it seems that she was nearly transparent, literally. She phased through her teammates and she started to solidify when she passed them and landed a strong dashing punch onto Spellbound's face.

*WHACK*

Spellbound was sent flying backwards and slid across the street to slowly stop. Both Nova and Torrent looked at Monica and were surprised by her.

"That was pretty cool Spectrum. You can phase through anything and still be able to land a strong punch." Nova said to Monica. She smiled at the Human Rocket and replied

"Well thank you. It's something I found out I can do a few days ago." She smiled back at him. Torrent decided to get in the middle of them and interpret this conversation that the two were having.

"Sorry to get in between the starstruck conversation you two are having but, the pink witch is coming back." She said while pointing at Spellbound slowly getting up. The three heroes brace themselves for she has next to attack them with. Her hands start to radiate with intense magic energy and lets out a rage-filled scream and fires multiple magic orbs at the heroes. Torrent generated from the gauntlets from her armor to create a massive energy shield to hold back the assault. Torrent was beginning to struggle to keep her shields up and trying not to get hurt from Spellbound's assault.

"I can't keep this up forever, one of you stop her from attacking anymore." She said while grunting. Nova quickly thought as to how to stop her from attacking him and his teammates. He came up with an idea and started to charge up energy into his hand

"Nova, what are you doing?" Monica asked her as he saw him concentrate his energy into his hand and began to glow. Once he finished charging up, Nova released the energy and shot it straight up into the air

"Time for my Energy Javelin!" Once the energy projectile hits a high enough peak, it morphs its shape into a long spear-like form and rushes back down, targeting Spellbound. She stopped her assault as she tried to dodge the attack from hitting her. She manages to narrowly avoid it but the energy explosion caused a shockwave which launched her into the ruined bank building. Torrent then powers down her energy shields walked towards Nova and looked over at him

"Hm. I think you should start with that next time."

"And what, risk having the fight be over so quickly?" Nova sarcastically replied at the armored heroine. Nova then quickly felt a tap on his shoulder and turned around and saw that it was Monica who did that and she stated

"I think you made her more pissed than knocking her out." They all looked over where Spellbound was and saw her walking towards her with her costume have rips and tears in it. Even with her hood still up, the expression of anger, frustration and annoyance was to be clear. She charged up and cloaked her hands, up to her elbows with her magic energy she then moved her arm in a punching motion but a short moment, nothing happened. Suddenly, two pink magic portals appear on each side of the three heroes. Two enormous hands come out of the portals and attack both Monica and Nova. Both of them stood their ground and struggled to keep these magical arms from impacting any further. With the opening at hand, Torrent materializes her jets and her energy blade once again and rockets herself to attack Spellbound. Realizing that the armored heroine was coming towards her with her blade, her eyes flashed with her magic energy and constructed a dome shield to protect herself. The blade contacting the dome caused blue sparks coming out of the collision of the two objects, with the blade slowly making its way through the dome

"If she's able to keep up with the three of us in a fight, how the hell can Ventus fight three of them?" With the struggle Monica and Nova had with the magic arms and with the armored heroine and the rosé witch power power lock. Spellbound gritted her teeth and let out a shout which caused the shield that she conjured to burst and send Torrent backwards. The arms that Monica and Nova were fighting dissipate and they saw that Spellbound was getting to fire a magic blast at Torrent. Nova and Monica charge and fire a simple energy blast to prevent Spellbound from attacking their teammate but then, Spellbound saw the incoming attack and smirked. The blast she was charging up turned into an energy barrier which absorbed the two shot blasts and redirected it towards Torrent. The combined amplified blast hits Torrent and sends her flying through and crashing into a window of a building across the street.

*CRASH*

"Torrent!" Both Nova and Monica shouted out of the reaction of their teammate being sent through a window. In a bit of heat of rage, both Nova and Monica rush towards Spellbound to attack her. Monica quickly turned intangible and phased through Spellbound and rematerialized behind her and grappled her in place. Soon after, Nova came in like a speeding rocket and decided to whale out on Spellbound. Punch after punch after punch Nova kept landing it on her chest and head to try and subdue the witch. After each hit landing, she started to get weaker, but she equally got more enraged. Spellbound released a powerful magic shockwave which Monica was able to absorb with ease, but it also caused Nova to be sent back and fall to the ground. Seeing another one of her teammates get damaged, Monica knew she was running out of options. With Spellbound still grappled, Monica lets go one of her arms and releases a concentrated light blast and focuses it on Spellbound's side causing her to go flying a slide across the ground. Monica begins to breathe a bit heavier and isn't quite sure if it's her anger or the amount of energy it took to perform that attack. The opposing witch slowly got up while holding the side of her chest and glared at the heroine with her rage continuing to rise. She resummoned her magic energy blade on her free arm and attempted to attack her but was suddenly stopped by some sort of grappling hook on her arm. She was then tossed up into the air by that hook and was suddenly slammed down into the ground, causing the street in her area to break and create a small crater. The hook released itself from Spellbound and recoiled itself back where it originally came from. Monica looked in the direction where the grappling hook was fired from and saw it was coming from a shattered window from a building and saw Torrent was the cause of that action. She noticed that her armor was a bit more dented now and her vizor of her helmet had cracks in it. She materialized her jets once more flew and landed near where Nova was down and picked him up. Nova managed to regain himself and get back on his feet, ready to continue on. Both of the armored fighters ran to Monica's position and she complimented on that save she did.

"That was pretty cool Torrent. I'm sure the suit of yours can even rival whatever Iron Man and War Machine have."

"All things considered, I think this is going pretty well so far." Nova stated as he was in the same damaged condition as Torrent is. As they appeared to have brief moment to rest, they heard the struggle grunting of the same rosé witch and slowly got up with her costume torn from her sleeves, one sleeve of her pants and part of her hood torn off, seeing nothing but half of an enraged face with a bit of blood on it.

"You damn insufficient fools. How dare you humiliate me in such disgraceful mann-" Suddenly, Spellbound was interrupted by a strong gust of wind that she and the three heroes felt. When they looked in the direction of where it was coming from, it was Ventus himself powering up in a bright green glow with a lasting shout that sounded similar to a demonic dragon roar at the sky and presence of a grand storm coming near. As he was powering up, the heroes noticed near Ventus was Gwen on the ground with a shocked expression with a bit fear as to what she was seen and as while Ava, Cage, Rand and Judo who had stopped their fight and saw this going on too. The only one to be unphased was the leader of the gang, Adaptation, only to be amused at this rising power. With the roaring silenced now, Ventus was now powered up and glared at Adaptation with rage in his eyes, ready to end this fight. Seeing now thay Ventus is powered up now, he decided to let out a quip, mocking at the Strider.

"So Ventus, I see you finally decided to go Category 2 then. Then this should finally be entertaining now."
