Ginny and George arrived in Charlie's empty living room. Ginny looked up at George with a small frown. Ginny has been here when she was ten years old but not much has changed. George though never been here and was looking around the living room. His gaze stopped at the window as he saw the few of the mountains.

"Wow."

"I know." Ginny said as she came to a stop next to him and dropped her bag on the sofa. They both spun their head around as they laughter coming from the kitchen. Ginny walked first knowing her way with George on her tail. Ginny slowly opened the door and saw Hermione and Charlie sitting next to each other laughing.

"What so funny?" Ginny asked, making them both jump. George was still hidden behind the door.

"Godric sis. You don't need to sent us in an early grave." Charlie chuckled as stood up and walked over giving her a tight hug.

"You knew I was arriving this morning." She huffed.

"We know. We just lost track of time." Hermione grabbed her to in a tight hug.

"Oh! I almost forgot. I have a surprise!" Ginny smiled wide as she pushed the door further open, revealing George.

Hermione sucked in a breath before realizing which twin was in front of her. She let out her breath before speaking up.

"George!" She walked over and gave him a hug. "Aren't you needed at the shop?"

"No. With the kids at school it isn't so busy. Beside Verity and Lee are covering."

"So glad to see George." Charlie gave him a quick hug and a pat on the back. "It's your first time here right?" George nodded at his brother. "Let me show you around."

Charlie smiled as he left the two girls in the kitchen. Hermione walked over to the stove and put on a kettle. She turned back to her best friend smiling. Her smile faltered as she saw the look on her face.

Hermione and Ginny talked about Romania and her training for another fifteen minutes before Charlie and George entered the kitchen again.

"You guys ready to see the reserve and the place Hermione spent most of her days?"

"Yes! Let's go!" George said eagerly. Hermione and Charlie glanced at it each and let out a chuckle. Hermione stood up and took the kettle of the stove before summoning their coats.

"Better wear your coats. It can get a bit chilly out here."

George and Ginny followed them around the reserve. Both of them noticed how excited and happy Hermione talked about everything there. They both shot nervous glances at each other throughout the tour. George was overwhelmed with the state of some dragons as they past them.

"What happened to them?" He asked shocked as they past a closure with three small dragons all of them with gashed and wounds across their bodies. Hermione and Charlie glanced sadly at the dragons before looking at George and Ginny.

"They were hunted down by wizards. They killed their mother. We were just in time to save them."

"It was horrible. The mother dragon died in my arms." Hermione chocked, tears forming in her eyes.

"You were there?" George asked shocked.

"They needed volunteers and if something was to happen to them I could fix them up on the spot. Which was necessary by the way." She shook her head. "Those evil rotten -" she grumbled some more. Ginny and George eyes widened at the language Hermione spoke. "those wizards. They were still there and didn't want to give up without a fight."

"Hermione was great! She took down two wizards at once. We handed them over to the ministry here but the law here isn't what it is supposed to be and they were released after two days." Charlie sighed running his hand through his hair. Hermione placed her hand on his shoulder and gave it a squeeze.

"We are doing everything we can Charlie. And I won't give up. I may not work at the ministry but I'm sure as hell I will change the way everyone looks at those dragons!" Hermione said fiercely. Ginny saw the fire in her eyes and knew in that instant she wouldn't give up. She knew Hermione would do everything in her power to change it. Ginny glanced over at George and saw that he was seeing it to.

"Come on let's go. Almost at our last stop. The infirmary. Hermione's third home here in Romania."

"Third?" Ginny asked as they walked over to a white building.

"Yeah, I show you the second after this." Charlie grinned wide while George and Ginny just looked confused.

They entered the building at the quickly showed them around before coming to the last stop. The biggest room in the building with about ten beds lined against the wall. Three of the occupied.

"GRANGER DANGER!" a handsome man called from the first bed as they walked in grinned broadly.

"Hi Nicolae." She smiled at the man in the bed. "You're in here again? What did you do this time?"

He grinned before pulling his shirt up. Ginny walked over and stood next to Hermione looking at the toned abs of the man. Nicolae winced as Hermione touched a large gash on his side.

"Toothless?" She asked with a quirked eyebrow. He grinned back at her. "How did you guess?"

"Toothless?" Ginny asked in wonder.

"Oh Ginny this is Nicolae. Nicolae this is Ginny and George." She pointed at the tall ginger behind her. George walked closer to Hermione frowning at the man. "I told you about them."

"Yes you did." Nicolae in his turn scowled back at George. Hermione watched the exchange for a moment slightly frowning before Charlie cut in.

"Nicolae what did you do this time?"

"I just flew over her enclosure with her dinner and she flew up and knocked me of by broom."

"She flew?" Hermione asked surprised.

"Yeah, it I didn't expect that. It was amazing though!" Nicolae smiled excited.

"Yeah I bet." Charlie turned to his siblings. While Hermione started treating his wound. "Toothless is a Longhorn about three years old. We rescued her four months ago from illegal dragon traffickers. She was locked in a cage most of her life." Ginny gasped when she thought about the life the dragon had. "So he didn't have the strength in his wings to fly." Charlie sat down on the chair next to the bed as he frowned thinking back at the state of the dragon only a couple of months ago.

"We started the diet with enough vitamins to get his strength back. We gave him enough room so he could spread his wings. It was only last month that he started using him. But he only got a meter or so of the ground before he gave up, to tired."

"So imaging my surprise when he shot up 8 meters in the air today going for his food." Nicolae chuckled. He looked down at his wound that was completely healed. He looked up at Hermione with a smile. "Thanks Granger Danger."

"Why do you call her that?" George asked with a scowl.

"In her short time here she really earned that name." Charlie grinned at the healer who scoffed.

"On her, what was it? Fourth day here? She ran into an enclosure with the second biggest dragon in it in the whole reserve."

"Why would you do that?" Ginny exclaimed, eyes wide open. Hermione turned to her with a blush.

"I- you see- It was Charlie's fault!" She cried out pointing at the red her across from her.

All eyes turned to Charlie who's mouth fell open before he recovered.

"Oh no you don't Granger! Don't put that on me."

"Fine. It was the end of my shift and I walked by the enclosure and I thought I saw something. So I walked over and opened the gate."

George and Ginny gasped in shock.

"But what you need to know is until that morning the enclosure was used for the food storage. So I just thought someone was stealing you know. I walked in wand raised looking for the thief but no one showed. As I made my wade back to the gate Nixi stopped in front of me."

She smiled at the two dragon tamers before continuing her story.

"The boys here hadn't got a change to get close to her. She was terribly frighted, she was abused for years before getting here. So now in the black of night I stood face to face with her. She spread her wings and showed her teeth. I stumbled back and fell down after hitting a log. But Nixi just stood there watching me before she looked up and let out a cry."

"I think the whole camp heard it. We never heard a dragon cry like that. So we all ran towards the sound."

"I was still on the ground, I slowly sat straighter and changed my position so I was in a kneeling position before she looked back down on me. I had me wand hidden in my sleeve so I would not frighten her. When she looked down at me the boys came up. I think it was about fifteen tamers that stood there shocked at the gate." She chuckled lightly as she thought of Charlie's face that night.

"You gave us quiet a fright that night." Charlie smiled at her after he ran his hand across his face.

"So what happened? Did they get you out?" George asked looking back at Hermione.

"Not really. When they showed up Nixi started the growl. I slowly looked back at them before waving my wand under my jacket and closing the gate. When the gate was closed Nixi relaxed a bit and laid down. With her eyes still focused on me she dropped her head onto the ground. I knew something was different. With the others she flew off or hid in the shadows of her enclosure. But now she just laid there in front of me not even three meters away. I summoned some food to me and slowly, step by step made my way towards her."

"We were all quiet in shock to honest. Healer Granger who has almost non experience with dragons just walks up to one of the biggest ones we have." Nicolae smiled as he shook his head.

"I never been so scared in my life! Nixi could have swallowed her in one take. I mean mum will never forgive me if she got eaten."

They all laughed at Charlie's statement. Most of them knew there was truth in that. Hermione was like Molly's second daughter.

"Well as you all can see I haven't been eaten." She smiled at George and Ginny. "I walked closer to her and threw her a piece a meat which she gladly took. As I walked even closer to her, holding eye contact, I held out a piece of meat. She reached out and ate it from my hand." She said in a giddy voice.

"She let me get closer to her as I whispered soft words. She let me pet her and examine her. She had such gruesome wounds. The moment she saw movement on the gate she rose up growling. That's when I figured it out. She had been abused by male wizards. She only let women near her. And with the fact that the reserve is full of men nobody gotten close to her. She isn't a fan of wands either so even I have to be careful she doesn't see it or she panics."

"Merlin Mione!" It was the only thing Ginny could answer after that. George just nodded in shock as he agreed.

"Well that's not the only things she did."

Nicolae and Charlie told them stories about all the things Hermione did there in her short period of time. Like when she went with them on a rescue party, not only for potential injuries but for back up or when she grabbed a broom and flew in to an enclosure to help and wounded tamer. That made George and Ginny cry out: No way! They sat there talking for over twenty minutes of Hermione's adventure. Nicolae in the mean time sat up not even wincing after Hermione's handy work.

"You? A drinking game?" Ginny asked in shock as she looked at her best friend. The two tamers just told them about their weekly get together.

"It was a drinking game. You surely don't think I would back out do you.""No, I guess not." She grinned at her.

"Wow Hermione, you sure changed." George sighed.

"Maybe.. it's just.. I feel free here. Great job, beautiful views, great friends." She smiled before letting out a sigh. Ginny and George looked worried at each other before glancing back at Hermione.

"Are you okay Hermione?" George asked as he placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Yes, it's just I really am going to miss it here when my contract is over. I feel like I can make a change here you know."

"Yeah.." George looked worried at his sister and brother.

"No need to think about Granger. It still a few months away. You will cross that bridge when you get there." Nicolae winked at her.
