Hello again, chapter 8 here, nearly halfway through the story.
Recap: Previously on Tartarus kitchen, the final 12 chefs took part in a roulette challenge, gathering ingredients starting with certain letters, and try to make dishes out of them, in the end, the blue team won, and Fluttershy who was rewarded a punishment pass, used it right away to join the winning team on the reward and avoid punishment.
After the dinner service, it was the blue team at risk, they nominated Wallflower and Maud Pie, and in the end it was Maud Pie who was eliminated, only 11 remain.
11 chefs remaining.
The eleven chefs headed back to their dorms after Maud's elimination, Pinkie Pie was feeling blue because of it.
Applejack, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash and Sunset noticed and tried to console her.
" Hang in there Pinkie, Maud would've wanted you to keep on fighting", said Applejack.
" Yeah, besides it's just a contest, when it's over we all move on to our normal lives", said Rainbow Dash.
" I know, it's just saddening to see her leave", said Pinkie Pie.
" We know Pinkie, but hang in there, you're a tough girl", said Sunset.
" She believes in you, just like we do", said Fluttershy.
Applejack, Big Mac, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Micro Chips, Sunset, Vinyl, Wallflower, Zephyr and Derpy lined up in the dining room, facing Ramsay.
" Well team, today we'll be doing something a little different, if you're running your own restaurant, or any attraction, or even creating your own product, what is it you'll need to attract customers to your design", said Ramsay.
" Commercials", said Fluttershy.
" Yes, exactly, and there are other things as well, like...", Ramsay turned to the team, hoping for answers.
" Posters", said Applejack.
" Yes, anything else", said Ramsay.
" Articles in newspapers", said Applejack.
" Yes, or even other people would tell you, and recommend it, today you'll be making a commercial, let's say tartarus kitchen is looking for a commercial to attract the customers, today's challenge is you'll each have 3 hours to create, film, edit and present your commercial, the team that can present the best commercial will wins today's reward, the losing team will be facing today's punishment", said Ramsay.
Ramsay then looked at his watch.
" Okay, you have cameras and computers with editing apps, and some costumes and other equipment you can use for creativity, you have 3 hours starting now", said Ramsay.
The clock started ticking and the two teams began preparing their commercial.
THREE HOURS LATER.
Ramsay stood in front of the two chefs, as they both have a hard drive containing their 30 second commercials.
" Okay, red team, you're up first, show me what you've got", said Ramsay.
Applejack plugged in the hard drive, and Ramsay looked at the video.
RED TEAM'S AD.
Four young girls and a boy was found dragging themselves through a hot desert.
" So hot", said Pinkie Pie.
" So tiring", said Fluttershy.
" No food", said Micro Chips.
" No Water", said Rainbow Dash.
Just then they heard a voice call out.
" HEY, YOU DONKEYS", the five looked up to see Big Mac in a Chef Ramsay outfit.
He approached them.
" What are you doing laying there for, you'll catch sunstroke", said Big Mac in his Ramsay impression.
" Too tired, Too thirsty, Too Hungry", said Applejack.
" Well then enter my Restaurant, and I'll take care of that, with my new chefs that start off as amateurs and I turn them into professionals, you have my full guarantee you'll never go hungry again", said Big Mac.
The five cheered as they went into the Restaurant, and sat down on the tables, with food already there.
End of advert.
After looking at the red teams commercial, he had multiple reactions.
" It's, something, true I turn amateur chefs into professionals, that's why I made this show, and Big Mac, how many takes did you do, to get my impersonations right, probably a few hundred", said Ramsay.
He then turned to the blue team.
" Blue team, will your advert top it", said Ramsay.
BLUE TEAM'S AD.
Derpy, Zephyr and Vinyl were dancing by the dance floor during a sexy pool party, Wallflower was sitting on a lounge reading a book, they were all in swimsuits.
The sky then turned red, and a giant devil burst out of the pool, played by Sunset.
" This ain't hot, you want to see what's really hot, I'll show you", said Sunset, snapping her fingers making the party goers vanish.
The group teleported to the threshold of Tarturus kitchen.
" This is hot, better than any restaurant you'd find on the planet", said Sunset.
End of advert.
Ramsay then looked at both teams.
" I don't know what to say, both adverts aren't as good as a normal advert, but if I had to choose, the winning team is...

... The blue team".
The blue team cheered in victory.
" Blue team, for your reward, you'll be going to the Applewood studios where you'll see the filming of Daring Do's latest feature, 'the search for the invisible sword', have fun, meanwhile, red team, for today's punishment, it's recycling day, and you'll be sorting out so much trash, have fun", said Ramsay.
" Dammit", Rainbow Dash groaned, knowing she lost the opportunity to be on the set of daring do.
At Applewood, Zephyr, Sunset, Derpy, Wallflower and Vinyl watched as A.K. Yearling began her next take on a scene in her upcoming film, she was in the costume, in a stage prepped as a torture chamber, she was tied up to a table.
" 'Search for the invisible sword', scene 23, take 2", said the slater, clapping the clapperboard.
" Action", shouted the director.
Caballeron and his henchmen surround the tied up prisoner.
" I won't ask you again, where's the map", said Caballeron.
" I'll never talk Carbonara", said Daring Do.
" Cut", shouted the director.
" Sorry, Caballeron I was supposed to say, I'll get it right next time", said A.K.
" Alright, 'Search for the invisible sword', scene 23, take 3", said the slater clapping on the clapperboard.
" Action", shouted the director.
Caballeron and his henchmen surround the tied up prisoner.
" I won't ask you again, where's the map", said Caballeron.
" I'll never talk Calamari", said Daring Do.
" CUT", shouted the director, he then glared at A.K.
" Seriously A.K. you're not taking this seriously", said the director.
" Well excuse me for being nervous on this scene, knowing what happens, I saw the script, is it really necessary for it", said A.K.
" Look, I understand the upcoming part makes you uncomfortable, but the sooner we get this done, the better", said the director.
" Wait, what's going to happen", said Derpy in the soundproof booth.
" I don't know", said Sunset.
" 'Search for the invisible sword', scene 23, take 4", said the slater, clapping the clapperboard.
" Action", shouted the director.
Caballeron and his henchmen surround the tied up prisoner.
" I won't ask you again, where's the map", said Caballeron.
" I'll never talk Caballeron", said Daring Do.
Caballeron then took out a switchblade knife.
" You will, even if I have to force it out of you", said Caballeron.
He then used the knife, to begin ripping Daring Do's shirt.
" Wait, are we actually seeing this", said Sunset in the soundproof booth looking through the script.
" Apparently, Daring Do makes a brave escape, and has no choice but to streak though the village", said Wallflower.
" Oh goodness", said Derpy, blushing.
" And we get to see it uncensored, oh boy, Rainbow Dash will be jealous", said Sunset.
Meanwhile, Caballeron cut open Daring's shorts, leaving her in only her bra and panties.
" One last chance, tell me where the map is, or else", said Caballeron, moving the knife to her bra.
Daring Do then spat at his face.
" Do your worst", she growled.
" Very well then", said Caballeron, as he was then about to cut her bra when suddenly an explosion came from the wall, sending Caballeron and his men flying, with harnesses attached to them.
The blue team looked shocked, surprised and a little amazed.
" They didn't tell us that, this series is full of surprises", said Sunset.
Daring Do then untied herself, got off the table to put on her hat, grabbed one of the unconscious henchmen's jacket and put it on, then turned to Caballeron.
" Sorry Caballeron, better luck next time", she said before fleeing.
" And cut", said the director, ending the scene.
Everyone began preparing themselves for tonight's service.
In the blue kitchen we have Vinyl on Appetizers, Sunset on Meat, Derpy on Fish, Zephyr on Garnish and Wallflower on Desserts.
In the red kitchen we have Rainbow Dash Appetizers, Fluttershy on Meat, Big Mac on Fish, Pinkie Pie on Garnish and Micro Chips on Desserts, while Applejack will be the floater again, helping out from one station to another.
" Jacques, open up Tartaus Kitchen", said Ramsay.
7:00 PM, the kitchen opened, tickets were filled, and the stations were firing.
It started off fine the first 25 minutes, but unfortunately, mistakes are hard to avoid.
" Vinyl, the rice in the Risotto's still crunchy, put it back in the pan", said Ramsay.
Another half hour went by, and it was nearly a full hour into dinner service.
" Wallflower, the cream isn't thick enough, I know we're on a roll in the service at the moment, but please don't jinx it", said Ramsay.
" Sorry Chef", said Wallflower.
5 minutes later.
" Derpy, the fish is under cooked, try again", said Ramsay.
Another half hour went by, and it's now 8:30, only halfway through dinner service.
" Dammit Wallflower, we may be halfway through service, but's it's not over yet, keep watch of the oven, or you'll burn the F*cking cupcakes", said Ramsay.
5 minutes later.
" Now the red team's messing up, great", said Ramsay as he went into the red kitchen.
" Big Mac, why would you send me this", said Ramsay, showing Big Mac a burnt cod.
" Sorry Chef, didn't see it", said Big Mac.
" Well keep you're f*cking eyes open", said Ramsay.
" Yes Chef", said Big Mac.
Another 5 minutes later.
" We spent the first hour and a half on a successful rate, but now it's starting to change, Micro Chips, customers are waiting on a souffle, and you haven't sent one in yet", said Ramsay.
" Wait, one was ordered, I didn't know that, sorry", said Micro Chips.
" You didn't know that, I called it out twice, surely you should have heard it", said Ramsay.
Another 25 minutes went by, and it was now 9:05.
" Wallflower, a customer is waiting on a pudding, how long", said Ramsay.
" 2 minutes chef", said Wallflower.
" You said that 2 minutes ago, are you playing with the bloody oven", said Ramsay.
" No chef, I'm not", said Wallflower.
20 minutes go by.
" Fluttershy, come here", said Ramsay, Fluttershy did so.
" The chicken is still raw in the middle, look I know you're not fond of meat, but if you're cooking food, serving raw meat is a big no, especially raw chicken, that's a huge danger factor, I could've served that to someone and give them salmonella", said Ramsay.
" Sorry Chef", said Fluttershy.
" Just be careful next time okay", said Ramsay.
15 minutes went by, and only 20 minutes remain till dinner service ends.
" Big Mac, come here", said Ramsay.
Big Mac did so.
" 15 minutes ago I told Fluttershy she nearly served raw chicken, and now you nearly served raw fish, you both could've given the customers food poisoning", said Ramsay.
" Sorry Chef", said Big Mac.
After that the service ended, and everyone cleaned up on their stations.
Afterwards, when all the customers left, the eleven chefs lined up.
" Well, today's service was okay, it started out smoothly, but then things went a little downhill, I overlooked the results, and the team who did the best was...

.. The red team", said Ramsay.
The six chefs sighed in relief, then Ramsay turned to the blue team.
" Blue team, once again you're at risk, head to the dorm and come up with 2 nominees for elimination", said Ramsay.
The red team watched as Sunset, Vinyl, Wallflower, Zephyr and Derpy left the kitchen to the dorms.
" Red team, as you now know, once the red team loses someone, they'll be two chefs short, so one of you will join the blue team", said Ramsay.
Half an hour later, Ramsay stood in front of the blue team.
" Sunset, who is the first nominee and why", said Ramsay.
" Wallflower, her disaster on the desserts was unbearable", said Sunset.
" Who is the second nominee", said Ramsay.
" Derpy for sending under cooked fish", said Sunset.
" Hmm, Derpy and Wallflower step forward", said Ramsay.
The two did so.
" Derpy, why should you stay in Tartarus kitchen", said Ramsay.
" I have been very passionate on what I do, and I still fight till the very end", said Derpy.
" Wallflower, why should you stay", said Ramsay.
" I've been reliable the previous services, only a few setbacks the past few days", said Wallflower.
" You've been called here twice in a row though", said Ramsay.
" I know, but people make mistakes, it's normal", said Wallflower.
" Alright, I've made my decision, the person leaving tartarus kitchen, is...

... Derpy, take off your jacket", said Ramsay.
Sighing sadly, Derpy did so.
" Just kidding, put it back on and get back in line", said Ramsay.
Relieved, Derpy rejoined her team.
" Wallflower, take off your jacket", said Ramsay.
Wallflower did so.
" I had high hopes for you, only for you to be nominated twice in a row, for making major mess ups, and I decided, you're not ready to become head chef, thank you", said Ramsay.
Wallflower then gave Ramsay her jacket and she left tartarus kitchen.
Wallflower's final comment: " I hoped to have won, ever since I came here I was one of the best chefs competing, I guess I just lost my nerve and hit rock bottom, looks like it back to my plants, at least I'll have comfort from them".
Ramsay then turned to the red team.
" Red team, it's now time for one of you to join the blue team, Rainbow, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie and Micro Chips, you four have been on the red team since day one, while the other five original red teams chefs have either been eliminated, Sandalwood, Flash and Trixie, or have been transferred, Zephyr and Vinyl, but now, only three will originate, and I will decide who leaves, the chef who will be transferring over, is...

.. Rainbow Dash", said Ramsay.
Rainbow groaned, knowing who she has to deal with again.
" I'm sorry Rainbow, but as a team player, you have to work with everyone on your team, not just your friends, but also people you dislike, now all of you head back to the dorms", said Ramsay.
Once the final 10 chefs headed back to their dorms, Ramsay headed to his office, and hung Wallflowers coat.
Ramsay's final comment: " Even if I didn't think she'd win, I had high hopes she would've gotten a black jacket, but sadly she didn't, she was just like Flash, started out well, then plummeted".
