Sensing someone behind him he instinctively brought his left arm up, blocking the incoming staff with his wrist. In front of him was a confused dragon priest. "Who are you and how did you get down here"? The priest asked as he withdrew the staff before blocking the exit. "I honestly can't say I know. I saw something weird and curiosity got the better of me. Little would I know that it led to an underground temple and a dragon priest. A strangely familiar priest at that. Never picked the kids father to be part of the fold" Alex said crossing his arms and looking around. Mortis on the other hand was a bit dumbfounded. The others never noticed who he was till he revealed himself to be their father, but this guy found out just after hearing a few sentences.

"I'll ask you again who are you? You are obviously not a trainer for you have skill. Enough so to block my attack without warning and recognize my voice after only living here for a month or so. Are you working with Payne"? Mortis questioned Alex looking him up and down to get a read on his body language. At the final question Alex couldn't help himself but to give a little scoff. "Like I would work for that snake. To answer your question priest I can't say who I am for you'd never believe me in the first place. I'm just a lowly trainer who happens to have a few skills and let's leave it at that". Mortis wanted to question him some more on what he meant but turned around as the elevator ascended. The others had returned. It came back quickly now filled with the Penn crew.

It would be an understatement to say they were surprised to see Alex when they got off the elevator. Stopping mid conversation they all now turned to him. The tension could be cut with a knife. Artha was the first to speak up. "Mortis what's going on? How did he get down here"? He asked a bit confused. Mortis tried to find his words before speaking. "He found his way down here. I'm going to have to find a new way to open the door since he saw the light coming through the wall. However he has not deemed himself to be a threat. For now I say we trust him but keep your guard up". The others nodded before proceeding forward. They were going to discuss the nights activities but now they had a newcomer in their midst. One who had yet to know Artha's true identity. But he did know. Alex had figured it out awhile ago. The voice, name of his dragon, and the golden gauntlet were enough to tell Alex who the new dragon booster was.

The group stood in silence for a few minutes not knowing what to do. No one spoke, no one moved, no one did anything. It wasn't until Alex gave a sigh that the silence was broken. "Since we obviously have a conundrum going on here I guess I'll break the question all of you are asking yourselves. What would I have to hide that none of you would believe? Don't laugh to hard then when I tell you. Allow me to reintroduce myself. My name is Alex Knight and I am the original dragon booster. Now go ahead and laugh because I know how outrageous it sounds since the dragon booster is standing right there" he said, pointing to Artha at the last bit. Artha nearly jumped back and began wondering how he knew. No one had pieced together yet who he was besides his family and friends. He went to speak but stopped before Mortis spoke up. "Your right. I don't believe you. No human can live for over 2000 years. Unless your saying you aren't human as well then what you claim to be is impossible". "You have a point there. I don't know how I managed it, but I did. Now I know there is no way of proving it to you, but I do know one way. After reading up on the history over the past few thousand years I found out that gold boned dragons are all but extinct yes? That includes users of a golden mag stream". Mortis nodded his head before stepping back, motioning for the others to do the same.

Taking a deep breath Alex closed his eyes and began to focus. The last time he had called upon his mag reserves was during his last battle with Armageddon. A weak golden hew began to appear around him before becoming consistent and stronger. He could feel the strain coming on from using so much so soon. Channeling the energy towards his palms two golden balls of energy formed. Opening his eyes now he could see the look of surprise on everyone's faces, besides the priest but he could still see his gaping mouth. With his little display of power complete he let it fizzle out and stood back to observe their reaction. "Well? How many people alive today can do that"? He asked while looking around. No one spoke a word now. They were all still trying to piece together what it was they had just witnessed. Mortis was a little impressed for he had felt the energy coming from Alex and knew he was holding back. 'This must have been what I sensed when we first met at the gate. If he is who he says he is then this would be a good thing for Artha. He could learn from someone with experience. But then again it has been awhile, and he could have forgotten some things'. He contemplated his answer before walking towards Alex.

"I don't know about anyone else here, but I believe you, to an extent. No one can just channel a golden mag stream out of no where and I know its not a projection or hologram. It was real. I won't ask how you managed to live this long either since all official records stated your passing occurred not long after the war had concluded. I do, however, have one request of you. Artha needs all the help and training he can get. Will you train him to the best of your ability? I will soon run out of material for him and he will need someone else, someone experienced, to help him with the rest". Alex thought for a moment before looking to the kid. He wasn't much older than he had been when he first stepped foot on the battlefield in the armor for the first time. He had never trained someone before and wondered if he was really cut out for it. But what Mortis said was true. He would need more help than what he currently has especially since things are starting to escalate. Looking Artha in the eye he now approached the kid. "Alright. I will help train him. Don't expect me to go easy on him though just cause he's a kid. After all I had fought in battles before I even gained the armor. Hope you know what you signed up for kid" he said before heading back top side and towards the main office. The display of power he had shown earlier had taken more out of him than he had thought and left him near exhausted. Meanwhile the others in the temple were trying to wrap their minds around what had just happened and what it would mean for them in the future.
