Chapter 8: the test
{5 days later(I messed up the time last time)} (3rd POV)
When the sand sibling steps inside the tower, Cain great them with a mock tone "Hello, it takes quite a long time for you guys to reach this tower ya know? Gaara, the jinchuuriki of Shukaku, the Ichibi?"
The sand sibling immediately tenses up upon hearing that, Gaara's killing intent began to spread, and sand starts to leak from the gourd. But after all of that, Cain just stands there and expresses his killing intent which overwhelms Gaara and his brother and sister.
'this... this guy is a true monster, Gaara is nothing compare to him!' the older sibling shares the same thought while Gaara feels a long-lost emotion of his: fear.
"Hey you down there, no killing is allowed here so turn your intent down before I come down!" An examiner sees that the situation is getting worse so he decided to jump in before things went wrong.
"Sure sir, I just can't control my emotion, let go there and wait Hidan." Cain stops his killing intent and smiles sheepily then grabs Hidan - who's eating - to the waiting area. When he comes up, he immediately meets Kakashi and Guy, both are playing some kind of dumb game.
'Stupid as always' Cain completely ignores them and walks past them, he also notices that Kurenai and Asuma are also here, chatting with each other about their student.
"Tch, how long will it take for those guys to come here, I'm death waiting," Hidan complain as usual then sit down on the floor, on her hand still holding some snack. "Really Hidan? These past 5 days you already consume about 10K of my credits, who the hell eats that much in the world?" Cain scolded Hidan but it seems ineffective since she just continues eating.
'Wait a minute, how the hell does this girl don't get fat in the first place?' Cain thought after he realizes that Hidan's body shape is still the same as she is some years ago.
{Some hour later}
"First of all, I would like to congrats all of you on passing the second test!" Anko and all of the genin's sensei stand behind the Third, each had their own thought.
"Now Hokage-sama will explain the 3rd round rule, listen carefully!" Then Anko steps down to match the rest, the Hokage step up and start explaining things about the true meaning of this exam and answer some questions from the genin blah blah
"Sorry Hokage-sama, as an examiner of this test let me take it from here." Hayate appears from nowhere and bows at the Hokage. "Do as you please." Hayate nod and turn his face to the young ninjas, which surprise them a bit.
"Ehem, I want to say something before all of you move to the next round. You will need to participate in a qualification round to see who is worthy to go to the 3rd test." This cause a small wave of ejection from the participants.
After everything has been settle, Kabuto withdraws like in the cannon but on his face, there is a hint of confusion and caution 'What is Orochimaru doing? Why is he acting like that?'
Cain, who can see all of Kabuto's thoughts easily by reading his face, smiled with Hidan "look like our plan gonna work smoothly, thanks to me of course." Cain sends a message through telepathy to Hidan, the girl's face becomes a little bit displeased with that "Ye ye whatever, I just doing this because there will be many sacrificed for Jashin-sama."
"Second round: Touka from Yugakure versus Zaku Abumi from Otogakure" Upon hearing her fake name, Hidan let out a small yawn before grabbing Cain's real body and look at Cain and said, "count for me brother, I will finish this in 10 seconds." After Cain let out an affirmative sign, she jumped down.
"You will beat me in 10 seconds? You just a brat who doesn't know your place!" The sound ninja throws an insult into Hidan's face when the girl just steps into the circles, this makes our reaper really pissed.
"I changed my mind, I won't give you a second to breathe." Hidan mumble.
"Start!" right after the word leaves Hayate's mouth, Hidan already moved.
[Shadow step actived]
[Silent kill actived]
[Assassinate perk actived]
*Slash*
"Huh?" before the sound ninja can even react, both of his hands already fall off. This happens too fast that only the expert Jonin and the Hokage can follow, each of them has a very serious expression.
"AHHHHHHH!" Zaku lie down the floor, screaming in pain, his bloodshot out of his missing hand unstoppably
"Stop right there girls! You have gone too far!" Hayate quickly joins in the scene to prevent the worse thing that can happen, Hidan just stands there, holding the scythe stain with blood.
After Zaku has been transferred to the medic side, Hidan goes up to the waiting side again, and everyone's great her with a terrifying stare, it looks like they just saw a monster. "Congrat Hidan-chan, you have beaten him in just 0,5 seconds, I thought you will give him a chance to do something but look like you're really pissed off don't ya?. What a pity that you are not allowed to kill him." Cain just stands there and gives Hidan a thumb up.
"Tch, so annoying," Hidan said in frustration and walks past Cain then sit down on the floor. "What a bad girl, I will just gonna wait for my turn then."
And the next 5 battles went well like in the story.
"Next round: Cain from Yurakure versus Gaara from Sunakure" Everyone's eyes turn to the two 'real monsters' of this test. While Gaara stares at Cain with an intent to kill, Cain just whistles jokefully.
Gaara waste no time, he 'teleported' to the area while Cain just jumps down normally.
"Before we start, how about a bet?" Gaara's expression shows that he clearly doesn't have any interest in Cain's bet "You are confident about your absolute defense right? If you manage to wound me in the next 5 minutes, I will quit, and after 5 minutes you haven't able to wound me yet, I will start attacking. Seem fair huh?" Cain takes out an hourglass then flips it over.
"The 9th round, start!" Before Cain has a chance to talk, Gaara uses his sand to start attacking. "Well, ya know? Unlike my sister, I like to mess around with people more than killing them, why you may ask?" Cain calmly keeps his talk as he continuously dodges all of the sands without looking at them.
The jinchuriki rose a hand, all the sand lying on the floor suddenly rose and catch Cain's legs and pull him down "sand coffin!" sands begin to cover Cain's body then
*BAM*
On the spectacle side:
"Now that man is dead. Did he really think that he can handle Gaara for 5 minutes?" Temari comments while Kanguro just thinks deeply 'how can this guy die so easily?'
All other genins just stand there, too scared to say anything - except for someone - they are too shocked to see a genin get killed during the test. But something seems off, no blood was found within the sand.
"Look over there." Kiba and Akamaru are the first ones to find Cain, who is chilling in the corner of the room. "3 minutes have passed, you have 2 more minutes to go sandboy." Cain reminds Gaara with the hourglass he is holding
On the other side, The Ichibi jinchuriki look extremely annoyed by Cain's word, he started using the different technique, but none can reach Cain.
After a while, Cain started to get bored and decided to end the fight, "5 minutes have passed, it's my turn now tanuki-kun" without any further word, he used shunshin to appear right in front of Gaara and raise his fist to the boy's face
'Haki!' he whispers as his arm turns black, boosting his attack power
*Crack*
Gaara's absolute defense broke right after Cain's fist make contact with it, the sheer amount of raw power Cain put in his punch also knock Gaara out.
"That is impossible" Baki shouted 'no one at this level can break through Gaara's defense, let away knocking him out in 1 punch!'
"Round 9: the winner is Cain from Yurakure!" Hayate announced then called the medic to take Gaara to the healing side
"What a shame, I thought he can take 2 punches but he fainted at the 1st, I guess there is no one here who can give me a challenge then." Cain used shunshin to go up the spectacle side and mock 'literally' everyone present.
"Hey Hidan-chan, did you see how a jinchuriki has fallen under my fist so easily?" Cain sat down next to Hidan, only to find that she was already asleep, Cain just sigh at the current Hidan in this world, for 4 years, he has tried his best to change the original bloodthirsty Hidan into a more peaceful one, the best solution he could find is to treat her like a sister, caring for her like a real sister.
But after 4 years, her affection, reputation, and obedience with Cain cap at 90, no matter what he tries, he still can't break through that limit. "I wonder what is holding you back, maybe blood? or is this... Nah, she will never love me, right? She only sees me as her brother."
"Round 10: Rock Lee from Konohakure versus Shiro from Yurakure." Cain immediately stands up after hearing his clone's fake name, 'my clone will go against Lee? Let see if he can even damage my clone.' Cain smirk as he controls the clone to walk down to the area
"You are a woman, but that doesn't mean I will go lightly with you." Lee exclaims as he gets into his stance, "I hope you won't disappoint me," Cain's clone reply with an emotionless tone.
"Start!" Right after they heard the word, both move at incredible speed that only leave a blur behind. Lee tried to kick Shiro's leg but quickly stop as he saw her leg turn pitch black. 'It the same technique that the guy use earlier, it must be a Jutsu that increases strength.' after saw what the technique can do, Lee has decided to not attack when the Jutsu is on.
'There is no way she can keep it up forever, I need to find an opening.' Lee thought was but by a sudden attack from behind 'when did she move?' He bends down, intends to dodge the incoming attack.
But something strange happens, instead of dodging it, he runs right into it.
"Ugh, what happened? I clearly dodged it," Lee rub his back and stand up again 'I need to be faster!' he began to charge at Shiro again.
On the spectacle side, Guy having a serious face, suddenly shouts "Lee take it off!"
Lee stopped in his track and look up at his sensei, "can really I take it off here sensei? You said that I can only take it off when protecting your loved one?" Guy nod "No problems, I allow you to take it off, show that girl the power of youth" Lee smile and quickly jump on top of the statue, he reached for the weights und/ er his socks and then throw them away.
*BOOM*
The ground explodes upon the weights hit the ground, everyone's face looks like they just saw something very crazy but Cain and his clone didn't even bother to look.
"Yosh, let get serious now." Lee's movement becomes faster that he only leaves a blur behind, other than the Jonin, the Genin who can follow Lee's movement is: Neji, Cain (aka Shiro), and Hidan. Except the later 3 is on another level.
Bam*
Unfortunately, his fist meets Shiro's blacken fist, the contact between 2 powerful force make a small shock wave each time they clash at other. 'My bone gonna break at this rate, I need to finish her off quick.'
"If you have time to think during a battle, then take that time to attack me first, centipede brows. Come here." Shiro smirk and stop attacking, leaving an opening for Lee to attack.
"Show me what you got." She taunts him, Lee breaths heavily and looks at his team leader "Guy-sensei, please allow me to use 'that'" Guy seems doesn't think at all and reply "Go ahead Lee, show them the power of youth!" While Kakashi looks surprised and starts to ask a question about the thing that Guy is trying to do.
"First Gate of Joy: Open!" (Wait a minute, it gate of joy or gate of what?) Lee's body started to covered by a thin layer of the green aura.
"Yosh, here I com-" But unfortunately again for him, he was punched in the face and got knocked off by Shiro. "You talked too much." She just comments then walks away, not even bother to look at Lee.
"The winner is Shiro from Yurakure! Now the extra test has finished, we will let you have a month to rest and training before the last test to determine the new Chunin start." Hayate said as he calls the medic to take Lee in, everyone looks tired and follows their respective team to leave the area.
They follow the Jonin path to get out of the forest but Cain's team, on the other hand, stay in the tower secretly.
"So who are we going to sacrifice now? I'm not gonna wait a whole month for that stupid test." Hidan complains as she and Cain sneaking in the medic side, both are using their eternal form.
"Well, we are going to eliminate the one who will trigger the great ninja war in the future." Cain smirk as he goes through the next wall "Ah there he is, looks like he is having some time with Sasuke-kun hah?"
"So all we need to do left is to kill this brat then go collect all of the charkas from the tails beast, summon the Juubi then kill it for power, after that, you will leave me alone to go to another word, and after that, I will become depre-" Hidan began to list out everything she will do after her adoptive brother finish his mission in this world and leave her. "Woah Woah, stop right there, I haven't say anything about leaving right? There might be a way you can go with me." The big brother tried his best to convince his little sister, they continue talking despite standing right next to Kabuto.
"Stop, let focus on what are we doing right now, we are lucky that eternal form also makes our conversation quiet." Cain sigh and place a hand on Hidan's mouth, stopping word coming out of the girl's mouth.
'let just make this quick and silent' He thought, Cain's form began to show up behind Kabuto, "blackhole: medium" A medium-size black hole slowly form on Cain's palm. Kabuto - who obviously has noticed Cain - quickly turns back only to find his body being sucked into a black orb that has average size for a human.
Kabuto can feel his body began to break apart, pain appear everywhere in his body, his consciousness is fading away...
"There, not even a single mark was left behind. let go, I just remember a thing that can help us collect tails beast charka faster." Cain enters his eternal form again and grabs Hidan to exit the tower.
"What is the thing that can help us?" Cain smirk as he summons his beloved dragon
"The Akatsuki's power will help us"
There, nicely done, take some time cause the grade 8 final test is catching up
You all know that I have a habit to update my story during night time already :D
Next chapter I will focus on Cain and Hidan dealing with Akatsuki.
I want to gender-bend Deidara and make her join Cain's team (not harem) to make it more fun but I couldn't think of a possible reason so I will let all of them die O_O
And who here wants Hidan to become Cain's only lover? Review for me to know (I have some girl in mind but I think Hidan suit the best)
