Hi guys! Just a quick interlude as I'm writing the next chapter, which I hope will be up tomorrow!
I'm super curious as to how you guys are picturing our two non-canon characters! I have them "set" in my mind ofc when I visualize and write them, but wanted to see if you guys were viewing them differently. No ulterior motive here, just some good old fashioned genuine curiosity to get me through writer's block LOL.
And ofc, if you picture them differently, that's great! I want this story to be yours as much as mine so you picture those characters as you please! If you're basing them off a celebrity, etc., I would love to hear who in a comment!
For our dear Luis/Surge:
I was a big JRock fan in high school/college. Very random but that was my phase. I still keep up with some bands, one being Dir En Grey. They have this super cool (imo) looking guitarist named Die, and that's where I got my ~general~ inspiration for Luis. But like not 90s/early 2000s Die... more like Die from the past couple of years as he now as this ~luxurious~ long blonde hair.
The first one is from an album photoshoot, so it is a bit dramatic and I love it so much ahah.

For our new baddie on the scene Miles/Phantom:
I'm sure it's not that ~shocking~ but my boy Ben Barnes just always creeps up on me when I'm writing Miles. Wasn't intentional but that's just where we landed LOL. Anyway, he's a British stud with a polished look that I think works really well in my brain when I'm putting the words on paper (or GoogleDoc, I guess).
Is it just me or does he generally play an evil/morally grey character in his work...? Just me?
Also, have you seen him in Shadow & Bone? Swoon.
