After Elena goes inside Klaus curiously asks Vincent, "What happens if she has any metal or leather strap on her?" Klaus was not curious, he was concerned because he had compelled Elena to wear a leather holster on her stomach which has weapons in it and at the night time she is to wear another like that on her shin. She is not supposed to know or feel it till the time of need.

After losing so much family Klaus couldn't let Elena roam so carelessly. Yes, she is not his family but in ways she reminds him of Elijah, the way she took care of Hope after waking up to the drive to that hotel, he has thought of it then, if Elijah was here he would have made his life easier too. That's the reason he thought to keep her around in the first place and the more she was around, the more he grew accustomed to her presence, in so less time she had become an important part in his and his daughter's life.

He knows he can very well raise Hope alone, but with his sister around with him for over a millennium he knew he would never be enough alone. He knows that Elena is not Hayley because Hayley is irreplaceable in their lives, but when his daughter grows up she will need a mother to talk to; there are many things which girls prefer to discuss to their mothers rather than their fathers.

Anyone could have played the role of a nanny but that's not what Klaus wanted for his daughter, he wanted something better than a nanny for her. If Elena wouldn't have woken up he would have taken considerable amount of time searching for someone suitable for the role, but seeing Elena there, and then seeing her take care of his daughter he thought who better than her could play the role. To Elena, the training was nothing like Ric taught her, it was tougher than that, from running in a treadmill to fighting him in a duel, he taught her everything he knew about a fight, from a sword to a needle how she can use objects as weapons, she wasn't strong enough at first so he changed her diet, although she hated the food he wanted her to be strong enough to protect his daughter and protect herself. After the first day of training he gave her vervain, he made sure she always gets it after he has trained her.

Once she was good enough with the small weapons he gave her two weapon holders made of leather, because he provides her with the vervain after training he knows that by the time he trains her the vervain is completely out of her system. That is the time he chooses to compel her, Elena wouldn't remember that he trained her or trains her, but she will come to the gym exactly at this time, Elena wouldn't remember she has a fully loaded weapon holder in her dress but she would wear it at all times under her dress.

Klaus is worried if Elena will come wearing the leather strap and weapons or that she would come only in a nighty, he doesn't want to undo the compulsion but also he doesn't want anything passing on to this side. Vincent breaks his chain of thoughts,

"So what arrangements are you going to make for the night?"

"I have a pool on the terrace, will that do?'

"Yes, it will" Vincent says, "Now show me the way to the terrace, I have to make arrangements for the spell."

It's midnight and Elena is called up on the terrace, she comes wearing her cotton nighty, which falls to her ankles and as she was told, no undergarments, no clips, open hair, the only thing Klaus is worried for at the moment is if she wearing the leather straps. Vincent is chanting with closed eyes, seeing it the perfect opportunity, Klaus vamps to her and keeps a hand on her back, Elena turns her head to him and before she could say a word Klaus keeps his other hand on her waist and turns her towards him.

"Thank you Elena." Elena couldn't answer his words because her attention was on his hands moving on her back. While Klaus' hands were working to undo the clasp on her back from over her clothes, Elena wanted to say something but he closes the distance between them and it seems as if he is hugging her. The weapon holder has three clasps on it and to do it better he had to come closer to her, after he undoes all the three clasps and the holster eventually falls down he is relieved.

He walks Elena with him to the water, she steps down in the pool and as Vincent said, she is supposed to float in the water, she is super uneasy knowing that Klaus' eyes will be on her while she is in the water like that. Vincent steps into the water and she prays to God that nothing nefarious comes to the mind of these two men, one she hardly knows and the other is her former enemy.

While Elena is floating in the water, Vincent keeps two fingers on her forehead and two on her navel (which is now easily noticeable because her wet dress is hugging her body). Vincent closes his eyes and asks Elena to relax. Klaus was told to hold her hands but something struck his mind, he forgot about the strap on her leg. He vamps to where her feet are and lifts nighty up and Elena yells, "Hey, don't do that."

Klaus doesn't pay attention to her yelling and lifts the nighty up to her knees and yes she was wearing leather in both her legs, he removes it and throws it away. There is no limit to Elena's uneasiness, she turns to look at Vincent, his eyes are closed and he is in a completely different world. Elena's attention is brought back to Klaus when she feels his hand on her thighs, she wants to cry, and she doesn't want him touching her exploring her like that.

She looks at him and he has his hands on her left thigh, Klaus is touching her legs and she wants to scream, she wants to run but she can't because the spell Vincent is casting on her has made her upper body still, and what Klaus was doing to her took her voice away. He successfully undid the holster on her thigh but when Elena looked at him with desperate eyes, asking him to stop, he gave her a grin, telling her he won't, instead, he would rather enjoy torturing her.

Klaus was out of water and on the side of her head now when Vincent opened his eyes finally. He said, "Okay, Klaus, I have made her a temporary door to another dimension now you need to hold her hands together because spirits from the other side may try to pass or may try to push her off the water, do anything but make sure she stays in water."

Klaus agrees, he gives her a devilish smirk and then holds her hands together, she is still not over the shock of Klaus finger fucking her in the open, she wants revenge, she was helpless, she couldn't even shout because it would have made her condition much worse, she doesn't want men ogling her and the way Klaus was looking at her, it was clear to her that he had grown desirous of her. Now either she could run from him or she could stay here and wait.

When Vincent closes his eyes again, Elena realises her upper body isn't comatosed anymore she utilizes this opportunity to free her hand and slap him, she says in a low voice audible only to Klaus, "Don't do that okay."

"Do what sweetheart." He says and winks at her. She pinches him drawing blood from his hands and he places a kiss on her forehead, he moves his lips to her ears and says, "You won't remember dear."

Elena didn't know when Klaus developed lust for her but to her it clearly is a sign to run, now even her friends are not around to help her get away from his clutches, what will she do without them she thinks.
