ESKK: Hey it's me with another chapter. I hope you all enjoy it and leave a review before leaving. So let's get this chapter started people.
(Start Percy the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History Washington DC)
Evan and Calisto had been hanging around Percy for far too long now because right now he was doing a great job of sneaking into the private event. Well, he was borrowing Annabeth's Cap of Invisibility, but one must hand it to him that he looked like a natural. All this tailing though started when a dark suspicious looking sedan pulled up into the parking lot of the museum. It carried an old enemy that he didn't want to see so soon Dr. Thorn. They entered a huge chamber filled with mastodons and dinosaur skeletons and eventually Percy managed to slip in doors for the manticore.
They entered a large round room with a balcony ringing the second level and from what Percy could see there were at least a dozen mortal guards dotting the area, along with two monsters—reptilian women with double snake trunks instead of legs. If he remembered correctly, Annabeth had called them Scythian dracaenae. Percy had to wonder how the mortals could work with the monsters.
He had to push that thought aside as that wasn't the worst of the things to worry about, because standing in between the snake women was an old enemy, Luke Castellan. But something was wrong with him as his skin was paler and older than last time he saw him if memory served him right. The angry light in his eyes didn't change as well as the scar that made its way down the side of his face, but now it looked red like it reopened somehow.
There was another man in the room, but he was hidden in the shadows. All Percy could see from him were his knuckles that clutched the armrest of the throne and what he can occasionally hear from him were groans and complaints about his neck. Though, his voice was not icy and creepy like the voice of Kronos from his dreams, it was deep and booming like it was coming from the earth itself.
Finally there was one more man in the room he was draped in a dark cloak as there seems to be some flaming aura coming from certain parts of him. He looked like a specter of some sort but even Percy knew a demon when he saw one and this guy was obviously a demon. What was worse was that Percy knew that this particular demon was a very powerful one.
But one thing caught Percy's attention a massive bird cage and inside said cage was… Corvus. Corvus was clawing and biting at the bars trying to get out as it was clear he wanted out and wanted it now.
Dr. Thorn decided to speak up in his French accent after doing a stiff bow. "They are here, General." Thorn said as he looked to the General.
"I know that already, but where?" The man with a booming voice said as it was clear he wanted answers.
"In the rocket museum," Thorn answered and in turn Luke spoke up.
"The Air and Space Museum," Luke corrected irritably as it was clear he and Thorn did NOT get along.
Thorn shot him a glare but held his tongue as best he could. "As you say, sir." Thorn said as his voice dripped with Venom clearly not accepting Luke as any sort of leader here. "But there is more some of them are heading into the Sparda based Exhibits." Thorn added and thus the cloaked figure growled at the mention of Sparda's name while Corvus laughed at them.
"Oh what's wrong afraid they might find an artifact to kill you fuckers with?!" Corvus taunted before he proceeded to laugh manically again at them.
"Silence bird!" Thorn yelled slamming his hand into Corvus cage causing it to swing.
"Does he even have an off switch?" Luke asked clearly annoyed with the Demon Bird here.
"Yeah it's next to the rectum or is that the ON switch?" Corvus taunted further as it was clear they all wanted to kill him.
"How many?" Luke asked as they needed to know but alas Thorn didn't answer. "HOW MANY?" The General demanded as he was getting tired of Thorns disrespect of his authority.
"9 General." He finally answered. "The satyr, Grover Underwood, the girl in—how do the young ones call it these days—punk clothes with her horrible shield, the twins of the Goddess Artemis." Thorn began but Luke knew who they were.
"Thalia, Evan, and Calisto." Luke said as he knew of those three.
"And four other girls— the Aphrodite girl in the hood, the second Witch, the modern day Alchemist, and a Hunter, she wears a silver circlet." Thorn said and in turn the one on the throne spoke up.
"That one I know," The General growled as it was clear he held Zoe in some form of absolute contempt.
"Let me take them," Luke presented as he was itching for another jab at Evan. "We have more than enough—" Luke continued but was cut off by the mysterious figure spoke up.
"Patience," The cloaked figure spoke as he then waved his hand to a shadowed figure in the darkness. "They'll have their hands full soon enough. I will send them a few playmates." The cloaked figure said as he chuckled a bit.
"But—" Luke tried to protest but this time it was the General who cut Luke off.
"We cannot risk you, my boy." The General said cutting Luke off.
"Yes, boy," Thorn dittoed the General's statement. "You are much too fragile. Let me finish them off." Thorn said wanting another shot at Evan after their last bout on the mountain.
"No!" The General rose from his throne giving Percy a good look at him.
For starters, he looked like a living statue. He had dark slicked-back hair, grey stone-like eyes, light brown skin, and a very muscular build. He had a brutal face, huge shoulders, and hands that could snap a flagpole in half. He had a regal expression in his face that Percy knew he had seen before, and now had a cold proud look in his fury for the manticore. He was wearing an expensive brown suit like the ones you would see on Wall Street Brokers.
"YOU HAVE ALREADY FAILED ME THORN!" He snapped as he glared at Thorn who cowered before him. "You had your chance I wanted a Demigod of one of the elder three and instead you bring me a Child of Athena and worst yet you had lost the Lumen Sage who possesses the Right Eye of Light with him." He growled as it was clear they were still searching for Tyr.
"HAH SERVES YOU RIGHT!" Corvus yelled but was quickly ignored from that.
"But, General—" Thorn tried to argue but it seems the General would have none of it.
"No excuses!" He yelled as it was clear they were suffering from the loss of their Ace in the hole. Thorn flinched when the General yelled at him showing even he feared something. This time he didn't look too scary as when Percy met him in the military school. Still this was good this means Tyr was MIA from the Titan army and if they can find him they can convince him he was being deceived by the Titan Army to use him.
"I am Lord Kronos' Senior Commander, and I will select Lieutenants who get results." The man added and in turn the man took out a box as he looked to it. "It is only because of Luke that our plan was salvaged at all." HE said while looking upon the box in question. "Now let me show you how we will end their foolish quest and possesses BOTH Eyes of the World." The man said and in turn opened the box to reveal its contents.
"Oh great it's going to be one of THOSE adventures! Why do the bad guys always have to be cliché!?" Corvus asked as it was clear he was actively trying to annoy them enough to break his cage open or at least damage it so he can make his escape. Luke's eye twitched while the cloaked figure rubbed his unseen eyes and Thorn growled out.
"I will rip out your tongue soon bird." Thorn said and thus Corvus smirked when he heard the Manticore's threat.
"Oh I'm so scared of a big pussy cat who takes orders from a snot nosed crybaby with daddy issues! Yeah I'm talking about you Luke!" Corvus said as it was clear he was making progress with egging them on.
"Ignore him he's trying to get you all riled up to help him escape." The man said as he was keeping the demon bird familiar of Kat as some sort of trophy or his pet. "Soon Luke we will command soldiers that will make that army on your little boat seem insignificant." The man went on saying revealing what looked like teeth inside the box. He then proceeded to bury them into a mound of dirt preparing for some sort of ritual of unknown origin.
As he planted the teeth into the ground the unknown General began to laugh to himself as he did so. "Dinosaur Teeth." He began with a scoff as he did his work. "Those foolish curators don't even know they have Dragon Teeth in their collection." He said mocking human foolishness. "And not just any teeth. They come from the ancient Sybaris herself." The man said once the teeth were fully buried in the dirt mound.
He then took a watering pot and held it over the mound of dirt. "They will do nicely indeed." He said as he began to poor the pale and from it a red substance as red as blood itself poured out onto the dirt mound.
"Dude seriously if you're gonna have a period do it in private!" Corvus taunted further edging for a reaction that can get him to freedom. No dice as no doubt the General warned the others not to let this annoying bird get under their skin.
Once the watering pan was emptied the supposed Second in Command of Kronos stepped back a bit to give the new troops room to enter. "Rise! It is time to report for duty!" The man ordered and in turn the mound of dirt began to stir and shake in response. Soon a bone like hand shot out as it was surrounded by some sort of substance akin to human form. From there a group of the Titan armies supposed soldiers appeared as they all stood in attention to their leader.
As they stood in attention the man smirked at what he saw. Now it was time to make the hunters into the hunted. "The Scent quickly." The man spoke and in turn one of the snake woman approached the man.
"Here it isss, General." The woman said passing to the man a cloth of sorts. But before the cloth could be handed gun fire went off and shot the woman hand staining it and ruining the scent on the cloth. All eyes were widen as they turned to the direction the shots came from and heard footsteps from the shadows.
The Cloaked figure growled as he glared torts the shadows. In fact many demons in the room all began to grow warry as the Titan leader took notice of this. From the shadows a figure in red began to walk out spinning a large black handgun in his hand as he approached the war meeting. Once the figure was made know Percy who was still invisible was wide eyed at who he saw as all the demons and some of the monsters in the room recognized the newly arrived interloper.

"Well so this is how the Titans throw a party huh." Came the voice of none other than Dante the Legendary Dark Knight, the infamous Devil Hunter, and most of all father to the infamous tri-breed twins Evan and Calisto.
"Dante." The cloaked figure growled as many demons all got on edge knowing Dante was here to stop their plans.
"So this is him, Dante the Son of Sparda, and the father to Artemis little bastards." The man said as he glared at the half-breed.
"Yeah if you have a bone to pick with me, take a card and get in line." Dante said as he walked in as he approached the group. "Now I believe you took something that doesn't belong to you." Dante said as the man wasn't scared of Dante even when he found his gun Ivory pointed at his head. "I'd like to have her back." Dante said as he looked to the man in question.
"Hey Dante what about me!" Corvus asked as he clearly wanted out from the cage. But of course the flying pain in the ass was ignored by the group here.
"Your little toy hardly scares me, Son of Sparda." The man said as he glared down the guns barrel not at all afraid of the weapon Dante was famous for. Well famous for that was next to the Rebellion of course in terms of fame.
"I can see that, something about you is strange though." Dante said as he noted that there was something powerful about the man he faced.
"Furthermore you're currently outnumbered and surrounded so your odds aren't great either." The man said as Dante looked around and saw that he was outnumbered.
"Yeah I like my odds." Dante said and in turn the two snake woman and several demons attacked. Acting fast Dante avoided the attacks and with Ebony and Ivory began shooting his way through the foes. The man of course stepped away and watched the battle go down making sure Luke stayed out of it. Bullets went flying as one by one Dante's attackers fell. It was soon that Dante jumped up and shot down at all of them before somehow pushing himself to the statue nearby. Dante stood on it leaned against it while smirking with arms crossed practically taunting the foes before him. The Monsters and demons glaring at Dante charged in only for Dante to jump down and slash them all up with his family keepsake Rebellion.
Once Dante landed he swung Rebellion a bit and smirked at the foes surrounding him. The Demons came first and in response Dante spun around and slashed them all with his sword Rebellion. Once that was done he dodged and weaved through them now with his guns, Ebony and Ivory, in hand. As he breezed through them Dante fired the guns off upon his foes. With each shot it was becoming evident that Dante had the advantage over his foes. The battle continued between them Dante was cutting down their numbers showing why he was a professional when it comes to hunting down demons and looking good while he did it.
Once Dante got through them he smirked at his foes showing he killed most if not all of them dead. "So much for these guys." Dante said making his way torts the earth shaking guy. "Now then how bout we try your foot soldiers next." Dante said pointing Rebellion at the Walking Dead looking Motherfuckers. "You hardly got a scent to track seeing as your based scent is currently contaminated." Dante said as he smirked at the foes before him.

The man growled as he knew full well this was but a fraction of what Dante was capable of. He looked ready to jump in until he heard Corvus yelp a bit while his cage raddled. All eyes went to the source and saw something was moving Corvus cage about. Just then the cloaked figure acted and went for the cage and as he passed through he kicked something causing a yelp from it and in turn Percy's hat fell off.
"Percy?!" Luke asked in shock seeing the boy here.
"Oh um." Percy began only for more gunfire to be heard from Dante. The bullets trailed pass the man and hit the ring holding Corvus cage in place. Dante had opened fire while Luke, Thorn, and the masked figure had ducked and covered from it.
Corvus of course cried out in shock as he was smacked around in his cage as it fell down the steps. "Hey kid grab the bird!" Dante ordered as despite how annoying Corvus was he was still a dear friend.
"Got it Mr. Redgrave!" Percy responded and grabbed the Demon Birds Cage and ran off. Dante of course gave Percy cover and knew that he wasn't going to get any answers from this current confrontation. As Percy made his escape one of the Titan soldiers grabbed him by his jacket tearing off a piece of it before Dante show the monsters in the arm.
"To be continued." Dante said and thus began to leave as he kept on Percy's tail.
"After them!" Thorn called out but the cloaked figure stopped Thorn.
"No!" He called back surprising Thorn. "I know enough about Dante to know these poultry troops won't stand a chance against him." The figure said as he sounded like he knew Dante from before.
"What do you suggest we do then?" Thorn asked as the figure smirked and looked to the troops with the torn cloth from Percy.
"We guide him and the Left Eye to us." The man said and in turn the soldier sniffed the torn fabric and thus got Percy's scent. They began to clatter their teeth showing they were ready to hunt down Percy Jackson.
(During all of this Evan)
The group had started off in the section with origins to varying legends of human history. From the looks of it they had an exhibit speaking all about Sparda himself. As the group walked around they saw many statues and painting depicting the legendary Sparda in some way or form.
"I can't believe they have this place here." Thalia said as she saw Sparda was pretty big with famous legends.
"This is your grandfather?" Kat asked the twins as they were exploring the museum a bit.
"And you wanted to stay in the car." Patty teased as Evan and Calisto were both oddly quiet here.
When the twins didn't respond not even with a quip the group began to get worried for them even Zoe. "Something troubling you?" Zoe asked concerned for them.
"A little bit." Calisto said as she and her brother walked over to the statue of Sparda. "It's just that… well this all of this is basically our legacy y'know." Calisto said as she looked to the group with them.
"Your legacy?" Thalia asked as she looked confused about this.
"It's just that, our dad was born to Sparda and that same blood runs through us." Evan said as he looked to the statue of Sparda. "Thanks to it any hope of a normal life went clean out the window." Evan said knowing full well the reputation Sparda had in Inferno due to his rebellion.
"We're not even worried about living up to it, it's just that…" Calisto trailed off as she looked to the statue.
"That ye find thy-selves looking at all the things thine father and grandfather have accomplished and feel inadequate." Thalia summarized as she looked to the twins children of Artemis.
"In a way yeah I guess." Evan admitted as he wasn't the most prideful guy out there… that pride he did have was more from his demon blood then anything.
"Come on… we better move on." Calisto said and thus they were all in agreement as Kat looked to Evan with concern for the tri-breed. But as they walked Evan passed by a suit of armor before its eyes began to glow a demonic color. Evan didn't notice it at first but the armor did not belong here as it looked to feminine to be one that belonged to Sparda.
*Insert Devil May Cry 1 OST: Nelo Angelo Appears Event
Just then its form changed to that of the Angelo from Evan's dreams and in turn it began to look torts the Tri-Breed Devil Hunter. Evan of course stopped as he sensed it knowing full well problems were coming out. From behind Evan the Dark Knight walked out of her stand and turned torts Evan glaring at the young hunter.
Sensing the tension the rest of the group turned around as Evan was the first to start turning to face the newly arrived foe. The Angelo drew her large sword from her side as she and Evan glared at each other with only contempt. Recognizing a Demon when they saw one they all got ready for battle but Evan was the first to speak up. "You know this boring ass museum was the last place I expected to find anyone with guts." Evan said as he looked upon his foe. "So what do they call you miss Angelo." Evan said as he obviously knew an Angelo when he saw one.
Just then the Angel as silent as ever snapped her fingers and in turn the nearby doors the lead to a courtyard burst open. In response the new Angelo walked to it and then gestured for Evan to follow her outside. Once she did that she ran out and jumped off no doubt edging Evan to come out to fight her with no distractions in either of their way.

"Great my one weakness being unable to turn down a fight." Evan said as he smirked at his foe.
"Evan stop this foe clearly is leading you into a trap." Zoe ordered knowing full well how Evan can get. She even blocked his path to make sure that he complies.
"Yeah I know but there are just two problems with that." Evan said as he made his way to the door passing by Zoe. "One I already know that." Evan said as he was soon next to Zoe as he passed by her. "And two… there's something very familiar about this girl." Evan said as he felt something stir within him. The last time he felt this sort of stir… was back against Evelyn. Due to that feeling alone Evan felt compelled to fight this new Angelo and in turn would not avoid it.
Zoe knew what Evan meant but before she could argue or try to stop him he was already through the door. When she went after him the door was covered by demonic energy preventing the group from going through it.
"What do we do?" Patty asked as she knew if there was one Demon there were probably more roaming about.
"We keep moving." Calisto said as she began to leave knowing they had to find clues and possible kill off some demons who attack them.
(Meanwhile outside over with Evan)
Evan walked outside and was met with the sight of the Museum of Natural History's large courtyard to fight his challenger. As Evan walked out he looked around for his opponent knowing full well he was stuck out here until either he died or his foe either died or decide to call quits and leave. Once Evan made it outside he began to look for his opponent wondering where she had gone off to. As he walked through an archway he suddenly sensed her nearby and looked to the archway he had just walked through.

"DARK WARRIOR LUNARA ANGELO!"
Evan found the Angelo standing atop the Archway ready to fight. The Tri-Breed son of Dante and Artemis and Grandson of the Legendary Dark Knight Sparda glared at his opponent as he too was ready to fight. Lunara had her sword pointed upward before she spread both her arms out as if basking in the suns light somehow. Once she was done Lunara jumped down and attacked Evan who quickly blocked the incoming attack with his sword Elysium. In turn their clash began as the two began to swing at each other intent on taking the other down.
The two swung their blades at each other spinning around the other intent on besting the other. Evan slashed and Lunara parried and in turn retaliated with her own attack. Evan blocked it and weaved under it to attack but Lunara dodged it with ease. The two continued to do battle against each other intent on besting the other here. As the two continued their duel it was clear that Evan was actually enjoying this fight with this new Angelo. It was concerning for Evan yet at the same time it filled him with an odd sense of hope from his opponent in Lunara Angelo.
The two parted from each other as they glared at each other intent on taking the other out. Lunara charged at Evan roaring out while Evan fired at her with his guns Jekyll and Hyde. Of course Lunara responded by slashing through the bullets coming at her with her sword. Lunara was soon upon Evan as she then slashed down on the Tri-Breed just before he avoided the attack if not narrowly. As Evan jumped back he was surprised that despite her form Lunara was fast. When he landed Evan felt a trickle of something wet, go down his head. As Evan put his hand on it he saw it was his own blood and in response Evan began to grin in response to Lunara. It was clear to the Tri-Breed that he was actually going to break a sweat against this newly acquired foe.
The two continued to duke it out as sword met sword before the two clashed and struggled. When their blades clashed the ground rumbled and area around them rippled from the force of the strikes. As they glared at each other it was clear they were both driven to beat the other by any means available to the two fighters. They circled around each other around the other sizing the other up before they attacked. In turn Evan took out Hyde and shot it at Lunara and in response the Angelo blocked the bullets with her massive sword. Just then she felt a hook grab onto her sword and in turn pulled the sword out of the defensive stance with Lunara. Once she stumbled Evan charged in with his Ophion Lift and slammed his foot into Lunara's face. Once that was done he unloaded his bullets on her at point blank range.
This served to anger Lunara as she used her free hand to grab Evan's foot and swing him around before slamming him into the ground. When Evan made impact he ended up creating a crater thanks to the force but surprisingly he was still standing after that attack. Lunara then began to charge power into her free hand and fired it off at Evan who quickly spun out of the way to avoid the incoming attack from her. The battle continued on as they went at each other both driven to kill the other.
For Evan he was having the time of his life right now. It's been a while since anyone pushed him like this. Evelyn was the only one who pushed him and in turn Evan had grown worried he would get rusty without her to fight. As they continued to do battle it was clear they were more or less evenly matched to each other as they went at it. They once more clashed as they tried to get the upper hand over the other. Something had to give but with a small burst of power Lunara Angelo forced Evan back and in turn lowered her guard for but a moment. Before Evan could attack she snapped her fingers and vanished from sight. Evan looked for her and in turn saw her standing on the roof of the museum. She then made a bring-it-on gesture to further taunt the Tri-Breed. Evan smirked and in turn proceeded to chase after her.
Using his Ophion Lift he grappled and flew at Lunara who was ready for him. She side stepped and in turn proceeded to attack Evan. Forced to act fast Evan rolled out of the way and avoided the Angelo's attack. Once that was done he blocked her next attack with Elysium surprising her for a moment. That moment was all Evan needed to force her back and kicked her away to give himself some room.
The two began to duke it out once more as Evan was in turn forced on the defensive. Lunara had begun teleporting around Evan attacking him before teleporting again keeping the Tri-Breed on his toes. The two continued to go at it as they tried to overpower the other by any means necessary to available. But Evan he began to notice a pattern to her attacks. Thus if he timed this just right he can get the jump on her. In turn Evan waited and his hunch paid off as Lunara appeared behind him ready to fire her focused blast. Once it was charged she fired but Evan was ready for her. Evan ran straight at Lunara and ran across the wall before avoiding the blast. Once that was done Evan slashed down on her and proceeded to force the Angelo on the defensive instead. Evan continued his assault on her intent on beating her as well as settling a score with her at last.

In turn with one final strike Evan managed to force Lunara back and fall to her knees. She used her sword to keep herself standing and in turn Evan smirked to his win. Holding his Elysium in both hands Evan swung down on Lunara only for her weapon to vanish. When it did Lunara jumped up and flipped over Evan catching him by surprise with that trick there.
*Insert Devil May Cry 1 OST: Dante Cornered
Lunara proceeded to kick at Evan and used the kick to disarm him of his sword Elysium. In turn the two proceeded to fist fight against each other. But despite being trained from a young age Evan was at a disadvantage here. The previous fight as well as the resulting sneak attack left Evan's defenses wide open. She then performed a spin kick and hit Evan to the wall where he cried out and fell to his hands and knees from the impact causing him pain. Lunara then walked over to Evan before grabbing him by his head and forcing him up before grabbing at his neck.
Once her grip was made Lunara Angelo pinned Evan to the wall as he in response struggled to get free from the female Dark Warrior. But despite this Evan began to laugh and if Lunara Angelo was confused she hid it well. "Gotta say I almost forgotten about those aces you keep hidden away." Evan said only for Lunara to increase pressure on her grip causing Evan to start struggling to breath. "But I never took you for being a Demon or even Kronos' bitch." Evan said as he then decided to seal the deal. "Isn't that right, Evelyn?" Evan said causing Lunara Angelo to stop her attack when Evan said the name of his rival from over a year ago.
"Evelyn…" Lunara spoke in a raspy voice as that name rung bells in her head. Painful ones that erupted a rage deep inside her. In response Lunara roared and threw Evan to the balcony railing where he smashed into it in a painful manner. Once Evan hit the ground he looked to Lunara Angelo who seemed to be having some sort of episode here. She then grabbed her head and roared in pain as images and memories too fast for her to identify flowed through. The event caused her a great deal of pain and in turn she summoned forth her power.
Once her power was brought forth she lifted up to the air where she proceeded to fly off like a shooting star. Once that was done Evan got up and grabbed his sword before sheathing it. Evan then looked to the location where Lunara Angelo flew off as it didn't take him long to figure out the Angelo's secret unlike his father on Mallet Island and Vergil.

"Evelyn." Evan said as he knew his old rival was under that armor. He didn't know what Kronos did to her but he knew she was still fighting it inside. Now the question remained how does, one free someone of possession of that dangerous level. In turn Evan jumped when he heard crashing sounds of a commotion going on inside the building opting him to go and investigate the source of the sound.
(Meanwhile with Dante and Percy)
Percy and Dante were running through the museum while holding onto Corvus in the cage. "Can you idiots stop running for a little bit and just let me out already I'm getting motion sickness from all the running water boy is doing right now." Corvus complained as he wanted out of the cage holding him.
"Corvus would you shut up already!" Percy yelled hoping to get this demon bird back to Kat where he belonged.
"Sure once you oh I don't know let me out already!" Corvus called out as he clearly wanted out of the bird cage right now.
"We can't right." Percy began before Dante fired his guns off on the cage's lock. The lock broke off and Corvus flew out of it.
"There your free now kid drop the cage." Dante said and thus in turn Percy did as he was told.
"Freedom at last!" Corvus flew around as he laughed maniacally all the way on through.
"Yeah enjoy it all you can we still need to worn the kids birdbrain." Dante said as they made their way through the museum to locate the rest of the quest group.
"They have to be around here somewhere." Percy said as Corvus flew above them while they continued running.
As they ran by a wall it soon broke apart and from it a massive Demon came charging through. Acting fast Dante grabbed Percy and jumped away from the demons charge. As it ran through it eventually bashed through an exhibit destroying it before stopping. Once the Demon was through it roared out and looked around for his target. Nearby Dante landed as he held Percy and proceeded to drop him down next to him.
"You missed." Dante taunted as he smirked at the newly arrived foe standing before him.
"Dante." The Bull like Demon said as he stomped around glaring at the Devil Hunter. "The infamous Son of Sparda." The Demon growled as it glared at the famous hunter.
"Yeah just about what you and every other demon seems to like calling me whenever they take me on." Dante said walking to the side circling around the massive Demon. The way Dante walked was calm as if he was just discussing the weather with a random guy he met. "So what brings you out here to our nation's capital besides all that?" Dante asked while gesturing to the destruction the Demon had just caused upon its arrival. But despite all this, his tone showed he was taunting the demon that wanted to kill him.
"We have been summoned by one of the Great Demon Kings to ensure his revival and his rise as both this world and the demon world's one true ruler." The Demon said as it looked upon Dante, Corvus, and a nervous Percy.
"Jeez where have I heard that one before?" Dante asked not at all bothered that some whole new wannabe Demon King is trying to take over the world. Seriously don't these guys ever quiet while they were ahead? Even Dante wondered if Demons lacked a thing called common sense among their whole race. "Well if you're looking for any of them heads up their already dead." Dante said as he looked to the Demon who was battle ready. "The only one left standing right now is Sheba and I'm pretty sure she isn't the kind to do approve of stuff like this." Dante said as he looked upon the large Demon before him.
"You think that whore is worthy of my loyalty? She constantly holds all of us back we are superior to these worthless humans and false gods! WE should rule over THEM!" The Demon yelled as it glared at the trio and slammed his fists to the ground with each word he shouted out making holes with each blow.
"Well looks like someone doesn't like the leadership." Dante said as he smirked to the massive Demon. "How about taking it to a committee huh?" Dante offered and thus served to enrage the demon causing it to smash another Sparda based Exhibit.
"This is where you DIE Son of Sparda! You shall be decimated by the might of Taurus Lord of the Infernal Maze!" The Demon now known as Taurus roared and in turn Dante smirked and thus took a battle stance.
"Well then if that's the case." Dante said and in turn did a karate pose and made a 'bring it on,' gesture to the demons. "Let's see what you got." Dante said ready to fight. "Percy take the bird and fine the others I'll go meet up with you both." Dante said and thus Percy and Corvus nodded to him.
"Got it, Dante." Percy said and in turn ran off to join the Quest group.
Once the two were gone the Demon roared and charged at Dante who in turn was ready for the attack. Dante acted by blocking it with Rebellion and with his sword managed to push Taurus to the side. The Demon roared and it was clear to all the fight was going to get messy here. Dante charged in with Rebellion and began to hack and slash at the powerful demon causing some damage to it. But getting angry Taurus retaliated and with a roar began swinging his massive arms around to hit Dante. Acting fast Dante back flipped and avoided the attacks with trained ease. While he did this Dante fired off Ebony and Ivory at the Demon riddling it with the bullets from his guns made to hunt demons.
The massive arms of the demon was filled with bullets holes causing its blood to spill out from said holes. Roaring in anger Taurus slammed his hooves onto the ground causing the ground to shake. The attacked was in turn sending out shockwaves around each hoof impact to the ground. Dante acted fast kept away from the ground for a bit taking refuge on anything not bolted to the ground or directly on the ground. This provided Dante with much needed safety from it before he charged in and attacked Tauras face with Rebellion. A gash was made on the Demons face causing it to roar in pain from it. Dante wasn't done as he grabbed the Demons nose ring and proceeded to force the Demon to flip over causing it to land on its back.
Roaring in fury Taurus was then attacked by Dante again who was sending many attacks torts the downed Demon with his trust sword Rebellion. Acting fast Taurus slammed his fists to the ground sending Dante back and in turn jumped back to his feet. Dante smirked as he saw his opponent was a hardheaded stubborn one just how he liked it to be. The two glared at each other ready to slaughter the other before Taurus roared and proceeded to charge at Dante. Dante acted fast and avoided the attack causing the Demon to hit the wall head first and busted a hole through trapping himself as the result. Taurus was dazed from the attack and in turn gave Dante an opening to attack.
Seeing this Dante proceeded to attack the demon with Rebellion. Dante began hacking and slashing the sword into it causing damage to the massive demon. Blood flew until the pain eventually got Taurus to reorganize himself and forced his head out of the wall. Taurus roared while he freed himself and swung his arm at Dante intent on hitting him with it. In turn Dante proceeded to jumped back avoiding the demon bull's brutish attack.
Clearly enraged the Demon began attacking Dante with wild abandoned. The Devil Hunter didn't lose his smirk while dodging the attacks of the wild demon. Dante wasn't worried at all as he clearly had the upper hand against the demon and was capitalizing on it. With one last swing Dante blocked it with Rebellion causing the ground to blast out from the impact. Using his free hand Dante pulled out Ebony and fired it point blank at Taurus face. Taurus reared back from the attack roaring in pain while grabbing his face from where Dante had shot him with Ebony. This gave Dante an opening to start attacking the Demon once more. Dante in turn proceeded to start slashing into Taurus with Rebellion with more of the demons blood shooting out. With each successful attack by Dante the demon bull Taurus was stumbling back from each successful attack on him. Dante then jumped back and stabbed forth with Rebellion sending the Demon flying back with a newly acquired blade wound. Taurus held the wound and saw the blood seeping out of it before glaring at Dante with outright demonic fury.
Dante smirked and taunted the Demon showing he was not one to back down so easily. Taurus roared out and charged at Dante who then gave Rebellion a few test swings for his next move. In response Dante charged at the Demon and thus the two met half ways. Dante was stopped by Taurus horns but Rebellion had the Devil Hunter covered against the horns. In turn with a mighty grunt Dante put more strength into his attack and proceeded to slice through the horns causing them to fly off before Dante stabbed Rebellion into the Demons heads. Dante wasn't done as he then grabbed the horns as they fell before he jumped up and stabbed the horns into the demons eyes causing it to roar in pain.
Taurus roared in agonizing pain as he stumbled around trying to get his own horns from his blinded eyes. "NO I WILL NOT BE DEFEATED I AM TAURUS I AM THE STRONGEST I AM!" Taurus never got to finish as Dante shot at his eyes digging the horns deeper and causing the demon even more pain. Dante then launched himself and grabbed the handle of Rebellion still stabbed into Taurus head. Once Dante had a grip on his sword with a quick movement he sliced Taurus in half and off his body. Taurus blood spewed out and in turn he fell to the ground. The Demons blood pooled from the wounds staining the ground crimson red while Dante smirked to this.
"Piece of cake." Dante said as he then began to walk off to join up with the others. But as Dante walked away Taurus body was soon lit aflame with a demonic power. Dante stopped when he felt the heat and sensed the power before turning to the remains. Just then Dante found Taurus flames charging at Dante only for Dante to smirk and take out his guns, Ebony and Ivory. "And Bingo." Dante said before shooting the demon's power up ending its life once and for all.
Instead of a fireball of Taurus power and soul all Dante ended up with was sparks of embers and a crimson orb before him. Dante put his hand on it and thus the weapon went off in a bright flash of light nearly blinding Dante for a moment. Once the light died down Dante saw he was now holding a massive Bull based war hammer in his hands. Dante gave the weapon a look over as he now had another Devil Arm to add to his ever growing collection of said Devil Arms.
Just then the building new instability from the battle began to be made known as debris began to fall down upon Dante. Not at all worried Dante smashed the falling rocks with the hammer destroying it with ease. The Hammer itself lit aflame as it seemed to use said fire to boost its swinging speed. The hammer had spikes to add a bonus of damage to anything unfortunate enough to become the Devil Arms target. Dante continued to swing the hammer destroying the debris before he got ready for a baseball like swing. AS a large piece of stone came down Dante hit it with the hammer so hard it flew at a blocked path. The path was in turn opened and thus gave Dante a way to get to Percy and Corvus as well as the Demigod Quest Group.
"Well talk about hammer time." Dante boasted as the hunter put the weapon away and proceeded to take his leave.
(Meanwhile with the Quest Group)
"Annabeth would have a field day if she was here." Calisto said as they had left the Sparda exhibits and entered the Air and Space museum looking for anything weird. "Hell I'd bet you all if she brought us all here she'd be able to talk for hours on end." Calisto said before snickering a bit to herself. "Evan would probably fall asleep disguised as an exhibit just to get away from it." Calisto said knowing her brother well enough to know he would in fact do such a thing.
"I think Corvus would join him." Kat said as she smiled a bit and thus Thalia sighed with some content.
"That's little Annabeth for you," Thalia chuckled remembering the girl and her love for learning. She was like the Hermione Granger of Camp Half-Blood in that regard. "She always loved to learn." Thalia added as she knew that Annabeth was an example of a child of Athena.
They looked high and low around the museum as the place wasn't crowded at all. There were only a few mortal families and a couple of tour groups for kids on their holiday school trips. There was nothing weird at all demonic or mythology. Nothing out of the ordinary, only the satyr and Tri-Breed with them could smell monsters. Their other member had gone off to face this Angelo and those who knew him well began to grow worried over the Tri-Breed boy.
Just then, Kat went wide eyed as she looked around sensing a familiar connection reigniting with her. She looked to her now summoned buckler and saw Corvus' gem was glowing. "Corvus?!" Kat asked just before an invisible force slammed into Thalia, except it wasn't an invisible force. The invisibility cap rolled off on impact revealing Percy who was barreling through the museum to get away from his pursuer. Coming with Percy was Corvus as he managed to stop himself before he crashed into the group. "Corvus!" Kat gasped as the Demon Bird heard the girl and flew over to her.
"Kat!" Corvus called out as he then flew around Kat before landing on her shoulder. "You would NOT believe the time I've been having, here's a hint it wasn't a good one!" Corvus gasped out as he looked to Kat.
"I'm just glad you're ok, you dumb bird." Kat said as Corvus then let Kat strike his neck causing a hum from the demon bird.
But on the reverse side of things Percy was having a much different welcome then Corvus. "Percy, you made it—" Grover began in glee, but that was before he caught himself at the glare of the lieutenant of the Hunters. "I mean what are you doing here?" Grover asked while fixing himself for Zoe.
Zoe narrowed her eyes at the satyr, then returned her glare to the newcomer. She had her bow drawn ready to skewer him with an arrow at any moment. "How dare you show yourself here?!" She demanded only for Calisto to cut in.
"Hey cut him some slack!" Calisto yelled as she forced Zoe to lower her weapons.
"Yeah he saved Corvus let him speak." Kat said as she joined in ready to fight if need be to protect Percy.
"They're right and trust me Percy-kid and I just found out some deep shit is going on." Corvus said as he flew over and landed on Percy's shoulder.
"Wow slow down what do you mean?" Calisto asked as she looked to Corvus and Percy concerned over what they had found.
"Long story short some guy named the General has gotten some demonic help from certain parties not so dead from Inferno." Corvus began as he looked to the group. "The General in question seems to hate you Zoe and let me say this we need to get Calisto AWAY from the quest." Corvus said and in turn he got to the nitty gritty.
"Wait why?" Calisto asked and in turn Corvus had the answer.
"Because girly they're using Artemis as bait to draw you out! They want the Eyes of the World or more specifically Argosax the Chaos want's the Eyes of the World!" Corvus said making Patty, Bianca, and Calisto go wide eyed to this.
"Argosax?" Kat asked and in turn Calisto spoke up.
"He's one of the Four Kings of Inferno and apparently dad didn't finish him off." Calisto said as she looked to the Daughter of Aphrodite.
"Yeah so we need to get Calisto OUT of here before the General bad back and Argosax finds us!" Corvus called out as he knew they had to get out of here now. "They already sent a demon after us and Dante is going to town on it." Corvus added making Calisto perk up.
"Dad is here?" Calisto asked shocked to hear her father had come here to join them.
"Yeap and not too far behind, hey wait where's Evan?" Corvus asked as he noted that Evan was currently missing.
"Fighting a Demon called Angelo." Kat said and just before Corvus could approach that subject Zoe cut in.
"You, you lie, bird!" Zoe said trying to deny the fact. "The General cannot be here." Zoe defended but Corvus begged to differ.
"Hey Zoe was it, look I'm a lot of things but a liar isn't one of them." Corvus said as he glared at Zoe knowing they had to get out of here like yesterday.
"It's true!" Percy added as he also saw the General with the cloaked Demon he figured was this Argosax guy. "Look we don't have time we got enemies after me and Dante can only keep them busy for so long." Percy said knowing they had to get out of here.
"He's got a point but I doubt dad will have that much trouble." Calisto said as she knew her father well enough to know he didn't die so easily.
"In any case, we will not survive a fight if the General really is here," Zoe said knowing full well they had to leave. "We must find Evan and leave immediately." Zoe said and in turn they were in agreement on this.
"You're right," Percy nodded.
"That's really stupid of you, Percy, coming all the way out here," Thalia said partially scolding Percy but was glad he came to help them. "Come on, we need to find Evan and Dante once we have that done let's go to the van." Thalia said but when Zoe heard this she was not at all happy to hear it.
"Absolutely not! I only agreed to travel with her brother not him!" Zoe protested as she gestured to Calisto when referring to Evan before pointing accusingly at Percy. "I will not—" She began until a savage growl was heard that began a commotion for them.
"Kitty!" Everyone turned their attention to the commotion. Zoe was interrupted by the kids yelling in glee while the adults screamed in fear trying to get away from something. When they all looked to it the group saw, a huge hulking beast bounded up the ramp. It was easily the size of a pick-up truck with silver claws and golden fur that shimmered in the sunlight.
Grover was wide eyed at what he saw as the beast snarled at the group. "No! It can't be!" Grover screamed horrified and scared over what they were facing. "The Nemean Lion!" Grover gasped as he knew they had to run.
"Everyone! No sudden movements!" Thalia ordered knowing full well any sudden movement could set the beast off to attack them. The infamous lion stalked around them licking its lips at the prospect of its new found prey. It was like that for a few moments until it took the moment to pounce at them. But the minute it tried Evan appeared and jumped on its back. The Lion roared out as it tried to force Evan off but the Tri-Breed had a grip of steel on it.
"Got the bitch!" Evan called out as he had a grip on the Nemean Lion. He then reached into his pouch for something. "Percy!" Evan called out not even asking why Percy was here as he threw something to him. Percy of course saw it was a Flash Bang and in turn was wide eyed to this. "Pull the pin!" Evan called out and thus Percy acted fast. While Percy was pulling the pin for the Flash Bang Evan the Lions grabbed the maw from either end and began to force it open.
Once Percy pulled it he saw it was live and in turn charged at the Lion. Once Percy got close he threw the Flash Bang into the Lions maw and in turn Evan forced the mouth closed and made sure it stayed close. Once the Bang went off inside the Lions maw it reared back from the attack and looked dazed and disoriented. Gold Dust and what looked like blood was coming out of its mouth and in turn Zoe, Bianca and Calisto acted. While Zoe used her bow and arrow the two Witches went for the guns as the multiple weapons all hit the Lions maw.
Ending it off was Patty firing off a rocket and Kat running by, for said Rocket. Once the Lions maw was hit with the rocket Kat took out her shotgun just as Evan jumped off the beasts back. In turn Kat fired her shotgun and caused the rocket to explode in the Lions face and inside its maw in response.
"Well that was an interesting strategy." Zoe confessed as Evan rejoined the group with Percy. As they regrouped the Lion began to vanish leaving only its pelt behind to which a new set of hands took it. Seeing who it was Zoe sighed in frustration to who it was exactly. "Dante." Zoe said and thus the group all looked and in turn saw Dante there.
"Dad?!" Evan and Calisto both gasped shocked to see that their father really was here.
"Hey kids you behaving yourselves?" Dante asked with a smirk on his face. "Oh by the way here kid." Dante said as he passed the pelt over to Dante. "Not my thing and your trophy." Dante said and in turn Percy took the lions pelt.
Just then Corvus flew in as he began to fly around the father and his two kids. "Yeah great family reunion and awards all around. Look sunshine we gotta light a fire because Argosax is on our tail with the Titan army, they want Calisto and the new Lumen Sage we found for the Eyes, and if we don't move now we're all gonna be." Corvus began only for Evan to grab the Bird by the neck cutting him off before he proceeded to throw the demon bird to the distance. "SMASHED LIKE A BUNCH OF BUGS!" Corvus cried out as he flew and his voice echoed in the museum.
"Dad what are you doing here anyway?" Evan asked as he looked to his father who only smirked.
"Yeah pops this our gig stay out of it." Calisto added as she looked to her father.
"Love to, but Mr. Hot Spot with the bad poetry made it my gig also." Dante responded to his kids and thus the three glared at each other just waiting for the other to retaliate.
"Look." Zoe jumped in between the three pushing them apart. "Right now we have little time to argue and as much as I detest this we will need all of our strength." Zoe said knowing full well they each have a target on their backs now. "We need to move now." Zoe said and in turn Patty noticed something.
"Um that won't be much of an option." Patty said as she looked outside the window and in turn they all look to see the Skeleton Warriors surrounding the Van.
"Well we can forget riding that down west." Kat said as she realized they needed a new ride for this quest.
"My car cant fit all of us either." Dante added and in turn they needed a plan.
"You guys go." Percy said getting everyone's attention on him. "It's me they're after." Percy said but Evan then smashed Percy upside the head.
"Nope!" Evan said as he walked by. "Since I know it will piss off Zoe you're a part of this quest now and no one gets left behind." Evan said and in turn Calisto noticed something about her brother.
"You have an idea?" Calisto asked and thus Evan smirked to the nearby train exhibit.
"I got several of them." Evan said and in turn the group knew that Evan may have another way for them to travel to where Artemis was held at.
