A somewhat lighter chapter? Since I'm supposed to be mowing the lawn and need to procrastinate as long as possible (I told them I'm doing my homework lmao so that should buy me some time)

Anyways enjoy~

Previously...

"This is what you get." I rolled my eyes, scoffing playfully. Everything seemed so normal, and it was nice. Really makes you forget about what went on behind closed doors.

George's P.O.V.

Dream and I were on the couch, still watching the movie. We were sitting rather close, not close enough to be touching, but close enough for it to be noticeable. I tried not to think too much into it, instead focusing on the plot I was supposed to be watching.

I yawned, closing my eyes for a moment. I was still so tired... even after sleeping practically the whole day. I was exhausted.

"Aww, is wittle Georgie sleepy?" Dream smiled, teasing me playfully. I lightly smacked his arm, rolling my eyes.

"Shut up." Dream chuckled. Before I knew it, a pair of arms had wrapped around me, pulling me against Dream's chest.

"W-what are you doing?!"

"Letting you sleep," he answered simply. I could feel the heat on my cheeks, knowing they must've been red with embarrassment. His hand found its way to my hair, running fingers through the messy locks. It was quite comforting. I accepted the situation, curling into Dream and letting myself fall into a restful sleep.

"George~" Dream murmured, tapping my cheek lightly. I groaned softly, shoving my face into the pillow. Everything was so warm, and for a second I wondered if I had a fever. "George~!" It was louder this time. Strangely enough, my pillow was... breathing?

I sat up quickly, eyes wide with surprise. I had fallen asleep on Dream... and he didn't seem to mind? I heard laughing coming from behind me, head whipping around to see none other than Sapnap!

"Oh my god- George- you-!" He was practically choking on his words, laughing at my expense. I crossed my arms, glaring at him.

"Nice to finally meet you too, Sap," I deadpanned, unamused. Dream chuckled, a light blush crossing my cheeks when I realized I was still sitting on him. I quickly scooted to the side, avoiding eye contact awkwardly.

"Oh my god, I literally knew you two had a thing-"

"Shut up Sapnap! We're not... there's nothing between us." It hurt to say, but it was the truth. "I just fell asleep on him, that's all!" Dream nodded, glancing at me.

"That's what I've been trying to tell him!" The blond shook his head, sighing.

"Just date already, everyone knows you two are secretly in love~"

"You're one to talk, Mr I-made-an-18-hour-drive-instead-of-flying-so-I-could-see-Karl," I scoffed, rolling my eyes. "Speaking of, where is Karl?" Sapnap pointed upstairs.

"Sleeping. He fell asleep in the car, and I didn't want to wake him," the Texan shrugged.

"Simp," Dream and I said in unison.

"Whatever, it's not like I held him while he slept or anything," Sapnap retorted, sending Dream and I a pointed look. "But anyways, where's your bathroom? I need to take a massive shit after that drive," he stated nonchalantly. I stared at him incredulously, while Dream seemed unfazed and pointed down the hall to the bathroom. "Kay, thanks man." Sapnap left, and I was just sitting there wondering why he felt the need to share that unnecessary detail.

"What the fuck."

"He definitely overshares when it comes to shitting," Dream murmured, wheezing softly. His laughter was contagious, and I found myself giggling with him. "Honestly, I'm surprised he hasn't invited us into the bathroom. The man has no shame." I laughed harder, leaning into Dream's shoulder. The Floridian wrapped his arms around me, pulling me in closer. We sat like that for a moment, giggles dying down.

"You're very touchy, did you know that?" I murmur. Dream quickly let go, no longer smiling.

"Sorry, I should've asked first... I'm kinda clingy, I guess." He sounded upset, and I immediately felt bad.

"No, it's ok. I didn't really expect you to be, um, this clingy, that's all." He nodded, fiddling with his hands awkwardly. I hesitantly leaned back into him, sighing softly. "I don't mind it." His arms snaked their way back around me, holding me close, while I laid a hand against his chest, feeling his heartbeat. It was fairly steady, although a bit quicker than I had expected.

I looked up at Dream. Was he nervous? Do I make him nervous? He glanced down at me, making eye contact.

"Whatcha thinking about, Georgie?" Dream wondered, voice low and quiet. We were barely six inches apart, neither of us making any moves to pull away. Were we about to-

"Dream, you're out of toilet paper-" Sapnap paused, watching both of us scramble away awkwardly. He chuckled, raising an eyebrow. "Am I interrupting something?"

"No," Dream and I denied, a little too quickly. Sapnap grinned, backing away slowly.

"Alright, you guys have fun doing... 'nothing', I'm going to go check on Karl." He left quickly, running upstairs. But it didn't matter, the moment was over. Whatever had been about to happen was in the past.

"Um... I think I'll get started on dinner. Anything you want in particular?" Dream asked, standing up. I looked away, sighing.

"No... I think I might go upstairs and take a nap, I'm kinda tired," I mumble, getting up and walking straight past him. I went to the guest room I was staying in, laying down and curling into a ball. My stomach growled miserably as I frowned.

Maybe this whole thing had been a mistake. If I had just stayed in England, none of this would be happening, and I would have to constantly worry about people finding out my secrets.

My thoughts were interrupted by my phone buzzing obnoxiously. I picked it up, answering the call without looking at the ID.

"Hello?" I murmured tiredly.

"George." The voice was stern, angry, and uncomfortably familiar.

"Mum?"
