"It's about that time, folks! Time for the semifinals! We're about to see some white-hot battles coming from these next two matches! First match in the semifinals is Himeno and Tsumugi vs David and Sectonia!" Leon announced.
"You must think that it's pretty crazy that I'm teaming up with Himeno instead of Simon." Tsumugi said.
"I don't find it weird at all. You two have bonded with each other a lot since the UA Training Camp. You even got your Provisional Licenses together. I say you two make a pretty good team right here, wouldn't you say?" David asked.
"I suppose you're right. A lot has changed since, well… Since Danganronpa. Ah, sorry. I know that's still a sour moment for you." Tsumugi said.
"There's no need to apologize, Tsumugi. I think you were actually really great there. Though, I was too clouded by anger to notice." David said.
"You should try those cosplay tricks of yours more often. It might even help in some cases." David said.

"He's speaking the truth. Maybe turning into Diana every once in a while can help get him and Cheetah's bloods flowing." Sectonia said.
"Well, hers more than mine." David said.
"But they're right. Maybe you should consider trying that the next time you face off with her in something. Maybe it'll help her with her hidden anxieties." Himeno said.
"Hmm… Yeah, maybe I will try that. Now, shall we get started?" Tsumugi asked.
"Yes. Let's get started!" David said sending out Corviknight.
"Indeed. Let's go!" Sectonia said sending out Shiftry.
"Here it comes!" Himeno said sending out Arcanine.
"Let's get started!" Tsumugi said sending out Lapras.
"Both sides ready? Then let the battle begin!" the referee announced.
"I guess I'll start things off. Use Steel Wing!" David said as Corviknight's wings glowed as it rammed into Lapras.
"Now, Heat Wave!" Himeno said as Arcanine sent a huge brush of fire at both opponents.
"Time for a Leaf Storm!" Sectonia said as Shiftry fired a barrage of leaves at Lapras.
"Now… Blizzard!" Tsumugi said as Lapras unleashes a mighty wind that hits both opponents, knocking them out.
"Damn… Getting creamed already. This is not looking good." David said as he sent out Latios.
"We need to pick up the pace." Sectonia said sending out Latias.
"Are you slipping? You know Lapras can still take them both out." Tsumugi said.
"Maybe so, but that's never stopped us before." David said. "Besides, it's not going to last long. Thunder!" he said as Latios sent a strong lightning bolt at Lapras, knocking it out.
"Now, Waterfall!" Sectonia said as Latias rushed up at Arcanine and sent it upward.
"Now, Crunch!" Himeno said as Arcanine bit hard on Latias.
"Here it comes!" Tsumugi said as she sent out Golurk. "Shadow Punch!" she said as Golurk sent a gastly fist at Latios.
"Got you now!" Sectonia said. "Surf's up!" she said as Latias conjured up a wave that hit both Pokemon, knocking out Arcanine.
"Let's finish this up! Ice Beam!" David said as Latios fired a blast of ice at Golurk, knocking it out. "See? We've still got some tricks left."
"So it would seem. Quite impressive." Himeno said as she sent out Malamar.
"But it's not over yet!" Tsumugi said as she sent out Butterfree. "Silver Wind!" she said as Butterfree unleashed a sparkling wind that knocked both Eon Pokemon down.
"This is it. Down to our last ones." Sectonia said as she sent out Swellow.
"Yep, so let's make it a good one!" David said, sending out Froslass.
"Let's begin! Air Slash!" Sectonia said as Swellow sent a gust of wind at Butterfree.
"Shadow Ball!" David said as Froslass unleashed a powerful Shadow Ball at Malamar.
"I don't think so. Night Slash." Himeno said as Malamar dealt a dark slash at Froslass.
"Let me in on this too! Psybeam!" Tsumugi said as Butterfree launched a psychic beam at Swellow.
"Air Slash, one more time!" Sectonia said as Swellow launched another gust of wind.
"Ice Punch!" David said as Froslass' fist coated in ice as she slugged Butterfree.
"This is it! Psycho Cut!" Himeno said as Malamar unleashed a psychic slash at Swellow, knocking it out.
"This is the end. Bug Buzz!" Tsumugi said as a soundwave was made at Froslass, knocking her out.
"Battle is over! Winning team is Himeno and Tsumugi!" the referee said.
"Whoa, man. We lost." David said. "You two are pretty good."
"It was all thanks to you, after all." Tsumugi said.
"She's right. You were the one that brought us all together, after all." Sectonia said. "This combination wouldn't have been possible if it weren't for you."
"I'm humbled, really. The next match is the finals. Whoever you face isn't going to pull any punches. Think you two can handle it?" David asked.
"Of course! We'll show them that this dynamic duo is nothing to slouch about!" Tsumugi said.
"So full of energy. But I guess I'm looking forward to this too. We'll face anyone on our way to the championship. Don't you worry." Himeno said.
