Third POV
Astrid could only gaze at her legs. Having both her wrists bound in chains as she sat on Viggo's bed. She was forced on her knees with a tight cloth tied over her mouth and secured well because of her high ponytail. Why was she being so weak? Why was she following orders from her kidnapper? Just so she wouldn't be whipped?
If only she could have had the confidence to stop him. But she didn't, when he grabbed her she didn't fight back. Her fear kept her from trying to hit him, make a run for it and take Tatiana, her brother and boyfriend plus herself out.
but no, instead she stared at him in fear. As he dragged her out and punished her. She stayed in bed for three days after that and Viggo made sure she had two earrings instead of one.
.
.
.
It had been a week since Viggo punished Astrid for speaking up to him. He knew that as long as she didn't wear the earrings she would have the strength to fight back and resist. But he also realized the mistake he made by underestimating Hiccup. The boy was yet more ready to try and get rid of him because of the things happening to his girlfriend.
He also realized how he had fallen more for the girl. Her long golden blond hair, and her bang's that caused her face to yet look as perfect as it was. And though the earrings had caused her eyes color to fade, he would have to find a way to keep the original color. Her smooth skin, that yet kept itself soft even with the whip slashes on her back. Yep, that was the only place of her body that was 'damaged' by his punishments of her 'misbehaving'. And though he was evil and kept her for himself he knew he would wait until she was in her mid 20's till he claimed her completely. He'll do the original Viking rule of marrying her as well.
Viggo walked straight to his room, with Hiccup and his riders not interrupting his plans he was able to create more hiding bases for his marketing and better yet, make alliance with a man who knew about dragons.
His marketing was also going well. It was like the times before the Riders began to get in his and his brother's way.
A smirk began growing on his face, after speaking with his most loyal hunters about the marketing and sending quick notes for the upcoming events, getting rid of those dragons that couldn't make it to marketing, plus receiving news about the spies going around Berk and heading towards dragons edge.
Two weeks, for two weeks he had kept Astrid all for himself. Viggo had to admit that he was relief his young pet wasn't in such a bad state like when he punished her. But after that punishment, he finally achieved his goal.
With sobs, whimpers and begins of him not hurting her. Astrid was being well behaved.
Still, he knew she hadn't yet given hope of being rescued and he also realized that she could make allies with some hunters to help her escape. He soon would have to find a way to read her, and make sure she forgot completely of Hiccup Haddock. Make her fear if she left his side.
For now, he had to see how she was doing.
Viggo had left her well secured for the past few days. making sure that anytime the healer was near her they didn't speak about anything they didn't need to.
When he unlocked the door, he was actually pretty impressed to find Astrid right where he left her. He also realized the girl didn't even realize he had entered, was she sleeping?
Well, if she was he didn't have to make noise to wake her. But he knew she wasn't asleep, she was only lost in thought. Walking straight to her, Viggo looked straight at her face. The bruise from her eye had finally faded almost completely. And yet it didn't matter if she had that bruise, it would become a reminder of how violent he could be as well as the consequences that could follow if she tried rejecting him again. Plus, he loved the idea of her left bangs completely covering her left eye. Just like he had done before when he first brought her with him.
Astrid could only think of the pain she tried to ease. Her now bruised wrist and ankles because of the shackles. The pain now worse on her back plus adding those bruises that had not yet healed completely.
She had to be honest, what she hated the most was her gag.
The idea of not being able to say a word even if she wanted, adding the fact that Viggo tied the knot of her gag real tight.
She kept herself still, trying to concentrate on how she could talk to Tatiana about sending a terror mail to Dragon's Edge to inform the Strong Hold.
Just being concentrated on her own thoughts, Astrid didn't even hear when Viggo entered his room and sat down beside her until she placed his hand on the left side of her face, right where her bruised eye was.
Just feeling his touch made her body tense up, just seeing him felt her feeling unsafe, angry, fear and afraid.
Staring at him Astrid began to shake slightly, slowly trying to move away from him without the man noticing. But no, he was smarter and knew what she was planning on doing.
Viggo immediately held onto her face with his left hand, having his thumb near her eye causing her to flinch. She began to tremble, god just two weeks with him and she felt completely helpless.
Viggo chuckled, forcing her face closer to his. He made eye contact with her eyes, "soon, little one. I'll have your eyes back to their original color." with that, he had the same smug smile he made anytime he achieved a goal.
"For now. Let's get finished with your training."
Training? What did he mean by that? Train her like what? he already made her weak by forcing those two earrings on her, they completely took her strength. He made her fear by taking her away the day he stabbed hiccup. And yet by the times he had punished her.
Astrid began to think, and realized that if she would have been taken captive without seeing what happened to Hiccup it would have taken longer for him to keep her 'tamed'
Yes, that way! Because she saw that happen, and in her mind she felt anger not to him but of herself for causing herself to be a hostage in the first place! And to add the fact that she couldn't even help Hiccup as she was led away!
Viggo frowned, she had looked away from him as she realized something.
"I see you figured out why those earrings took your strength." letting go of her face he grabbed onto her ear, "Because you feel anger towards yourself for not being strong enough to help Hiccup. The earrings have taken that strength away from you. And now only I can bring back that strength back."
He couldn't be right. No, she was completely weak for as long as he pleased. She finally realized she was completely at his mercy!
To her surprise, Viggo untied the knot from her gag.
Another bruise was on her face, right on the right side on her lip. That for sure was healing slower than her other ones..
"Now, how about we play a game?" he asked, holding onto her face once more.
Astrid looked at him in fear, "what kind of game?"
Another wide evil smile formed on his face, "a repeating game."
Repeating a game?
