"that was great help actually" Lucy says looking at the guy beside her "I wonder if natsu is the same"
"he does things faster than me actually...but glad i was help too"
"ayy...i wasn't searching for him...i wanted help from a senior that is it"

"no, this is basic job of a senior but" she pushes her chair closer to his, cupping her face with a smile "I'll help my best friends boyfriend in planning her birthday"
Gray takes a second but laughs if off shaking his head "I'm surrounded by smart crackheads"

"Okay, so...she loves the aquarium right?" Gray stars his little planner made.
For Lucy, their relation was going fast..too fast for her to catch on how close they got. To Gray, the more he saw juvia..the more she grew on him and Juvia? it was love at first sight. Lucy could easily write the maid of honor speech

She focuses back to the notes on the table with a lot of red lines, one of which made her blink and tilt her head
"Why did you cancel this?"
"This? ahh she told me...well, I joked and Juvia went all serious and told me she doesn't like it "
"ahh, okay" Lucy didn't push it, she could aways confirm it with her friend
"Yeah...so going back to this..."
The library was almost empty now, their evening tutoring session and Gray's plan took a lot of time. The very few students place the books back into the respective places, one happening right behind the duo still talking
"Oh shit! watchout!" the girl shouts from ladder towards them, the thick book slipping out of her hands
Before they could even react, lucy was shielded by a lean body, catching the book with both of his hands "I told you I'll do it by myself"
"Sorry, sorry" the girl kept repeating as she comes down, bowing down to both Lucy and the guy, running away from the place
"Thank you" Gray says
"hmm? me?" he points himself with a confused smile "shouldn't you tell me that?" He looks at lucy
"riㅡright, Thank you"
"Hey hey, it's okay...I'm kidding, Glad to save a pretty girl"
Lucy's cheeks heat up, she turns back to the table clearing up of all her stuff into her bag while gray raises a brow at the guy who starts to climb up the ladder
"we should go gray, juvia is texting me" she says pulling the guy by his sleeve
"Yeah, yeah...okay"

"I really don't like that face Lucy is making right now"
"Why? what does it look like?"

"what? Gray...what is that supposed to mean!" juvia slams her cup on the table folding hands at the guy
"heㅡhey, I didn't...Lucy is thinking about that guy from library!"

Before Gray could defend himself, the other side squeals as Lucy's blush intensifies
"Via, via...Lucy likes a guy!"
"What?" Juvia's brows collide, her mouth opening wide
"She was saved from a falling book like in the movies and he called her beautiful"

It is then did her angry meter break, cooling down instantly with a 'oh' sound, giving gray a peck on the cheek and joining the girls into teasing Lucy
Gray takes a deep breath as much he loves her jealous side. it gets scary when he slips out the wrong words even if he isn't at fault

"Lucy is in love" Gray answer as he stretches his hand to grab a French fry
"Who is the poor guy?" Natsu asks as he holds the same one Gray has
"Why does it have to be poor?"
"Why no? not all can handle that girl" he says pull the potato strip
"Maybe this guy can...you never know" gray says snapping the piece in half
"Okay, so who is it? Our department?"
"Don't know, just the face nothing else..."
Again the squeals get louder, startling the boys and few others. Gray pulls Juvia back from her jumping "What is it? Can't you see...we'll get kicked out"
"Hey hey...Gray...She is in love with the Fashion grad Sting Eucliffee!" Juvia says hands covering for her face "That guy who rarely smiles or talks...gave Lucy a compliment? isn't that huge?"
