Been a while since I've updated. Sorry about that. Life just got in the way. Anyway, last time, Danny and his group went back to Metroville to make another safe base, but before they could, they ran across a mysterious group, which they chased towards a building. Let's see what happens next!
Oh, and warning, some scenes would be graphic. If you read and watch Goblin Slayer, you'll see what I mean.
Chapter 7: New Friends
"Stay close and be alert," Danny whispered to his friends as they quietly walked through the dirty halls, following the prints on the ground. They nodded, tensing to prepare for a fight. "Helen, you know where we're heading?"
"No," Helen said, shaking her head. "I've only been in here once. Didn't like it. Bob's boss was giving me the creeps, staring at me all the time."
"With an ass like that, I don't blame him," Juliet said with a smirk, making Helen blush and smirk back at her.
"Behave," Helen said as she grew serious before leaning next to her so only they can hear it. "We can have fun later, with everyone~."
Juliet grinned as the other girls either smirked or blushed at what Helen said. They continued walking through the halls, which was getting dirtier the deeper they got in, the walls covered in flesh-like webs that seems to be pulsating.
"This is so gross," May said, paling a little as she avoided the webs.
"As if we weren't already in a fucking horror movie," Danny muttered before they stopped when the hall was split. He looked down, seeing that the fresh tracks were going to the left corridor. "The tracks go that way."
Renamon looked at the tracks before turning to the right corridor, her eyes narrowed as her ears twitched.
"Hear…noises…there," Renamon said, pointing at the corridor.
"Wonder what it could be?" Violet commented.
"Hm…" Danny mused as he looked at the two paths. The group they encountered could be in trouble, but if Renamon heard something in this Nest, it could be better to see what it was and prevent it. "We split up. I'll go to the right with Renamon and Pikachu. Helen, take the others and go to the left. Here, I managed to fix some walkie talkies to use."
Danny grabbed two black walkie talkies from his bag and gave one to Helen, who attached it to her belt.
"Be careful," Helen said.
"You too," Danny said as he, Renamon and Pikachu walked on the right corridor as the others walked to the left.
As they kept walking, the walls were completely covered by the webs, giving the place a nightmarish feeling for them. Danny could feel Pikachu shake. He turned his head and saw Renamon tensed, her fur standing up.
"I have a bad feeling about this," Danny commented as he held his machete tightly.
"Pika!" Pikachu exclaimed as he scrunched his nose.
"Ugh! What the hell?" Danny said as he covered his nose with his arm.
"Bad…smell," Renamon growled, her face scrunched up.
Danny pulled out some cloths and handed one to Renamon. He then tied one over his nose before tying one around Pikachu's face. Once Renamon securely tied the cloth around her snout, the three continued walking. Soon, Danny could hear noises. Muffled groans coming from the only door in the hall not covered in webs.
He nodded at the two as they quietly walked to the door. He quietly pushed the door open and they peeked inside.
It was horrible.
The room was dark and dank, smelling like rancid sewage, the ground covered in foul-smelling liquid, and the walls covered with pulsing webs. But what really got their attention were the pillars at the center of the room.
Six women were strapped on the pillars, their flesh looking like it melded with the pillars made of webs. Their eyes were sunken and lifeless, their skin grayish pale from lack of sunlight, their hair frayed and greasy, and their bellies were swollen and moving.
"H-help me," a woman with orange hair groaned.
"At least…I got…laid…" a chubby, browned-haired girl with cracked glasses said.

"Tina…don't make that…sound…" a woman with red-framed glasses with black hair groaned in pain.
"Mom…I want…to die…" a black-haired girl with a tattered bandana said, looking at a blond woman.
"Me too…Haley…me too…" the blond groaned as she looked at the girl before she dropped her head. She suddenly noticed Danny. Her hollow eyes widened. "Please…help…"
"Hold on!" Danny exclaimed as he and Renamon walked in, going towards the pillars. "We'll get you out!"
He swung his machete on the pillar that was holding the blond, cutting the flesh. The blond screamed in pain, causing Danny to jump back in shock.
"What happened?" he asked as he walked back to them.
"We've…become one…with this place…" the blond said, gasping a little. "We…can't leave…We'll only…be stuck here…making…horrible…offspring…for those monsters…"
"What?" Danny said in shocked and horror. Renamon was pale and shock as she realized that this would have happened to her and Lilymon. "What do we do then?"
"Kill us…" the black-haired girl with the bandana said.
"W-what?" Danny stammered. "I-I can't!"
"Please…kill us…" the girl repeated, looking like she wanted to cry, but can't. "I…don't…want to…live like this…"

Danny stood there as the people in the pillar begged him to kill them. His hands shook as he looked on the ground. He could kill those Mutants easily, even though they used to be humans, but this was different. These were victims who suffered the misfortune in this world. Could he really kill them to save them?
He felt a something on his shoulder. He turned and saw Renamon giving him a sad and understanding look before she turned to the pillars. Danny looked and saw that the women were waiting for him, giving him pleading looks.
Closing his eyes and taking a deep breath, he looked at them with hardened eyes. He nodded as he turned to Renamon, who nodded. She grabbed Pikachu and walked out the room as Danny pulled out his bow.
"…Thank you…" the blond said as she and everyone closed their eyes. Danny steeled himself as he notched an arrow.
Renamon and Pikachu waited for Danny before they heard six 'thuds!'. A few seconds later, Danny walked out the door, his expression hidden as he joined the two. His fists were clenched and shaking as he stopped next to Renamon.
"…" Renamon and Pikachu gave him worried look, trying to think of how to comfort them. Before they could do something, the walkie talkie made a sound.
"Danny, we found them, but there's too many Mutants here. We need your help," Helen said.
Danny grabbed the walkie talkie and answered back. "We'll be right there. Stay safe."
He then turned to Renamon and Pikachu, a determined expression on his face. He nodded at them before they rushed back to the others.
Helen and the others were peeking through a door, seeing that it has a hole on the wall, letting light in. They could see dozens of normal Mutants gathered around the girls they were chasing. The dark-skinned one and the purple-haired one were pinned as they struggled to get free while the brown-haired one was dodging them. LadyDevimon were viciously attacking the Mutants with her claws, a snarl on her face. At the far end of the room was a Mutant familiar to Helen, giant and bulky, wearing a torn red and black suit, sitting on some rubble like a throne, using an ugly, small Mutant wearing a suit as a footstool.
She contacted Danny when they found them, but by the looks of it, the girls would be raped before he gets here. But she can't just attack blindly or they might get overrun by the Mutants.
She then saw LadyDevimon finally pinned to the ground as the brown-haired was finally captured. All the Mutants started getting ansty as the big one stood up, almost crushing the small Mutant. All the Mutants quiet down as the big Mutant inspected the captured girls, all looking terrified or defiant.
Suddenly, the big Mutant roared, and is if an order, the Mutants started stripping the girls, tearing off their clothes. They all screamed and struggled to free themselves, but the Mutants were pinning them firmly on the ground, their grotesque erections throbbing in anticipation.
"Damn it!" Helen exclaimed as she notched an arrow in her bow. "Let's go!"
She fired the arrow, hitting one Mutant on the head, killing it. Surprised, the Mutants couldn't react fast enough with Juliet jumped towards them, the roar of the chainsaw filling the room with Blaziken by her side, his claws covered in flames. The others provided support, firing arrows, fire, water, and ice.
Distracted by the sudden attack, the Mutants holding LadyDevimon loosened their hold on her, giving her the chance to attack. The Mutants holding her screamed in pain as LadyDevimon spitefully sliced off their dicks, making them kneel on the ground in pain, bleeding green blood. LadyDevimon then rushed to the Mutants pinning her friends down, freeing them.
"Hurry!" Helen exclaimed to the other group, who was looking at them in shock. "Let's go!"
The almost naked girls looked at each other, not sure to trust the group that saved them. But seeing that it was better than being raped by these monsters, the group quickly followed Helen's group, leaving the disarrayed Mutants in the room.
"Blaziken, block the door!" May exclaimed, causing Blaziken to kick the ceiling, causing rubble to fall on the pathway, blocking it. The Mutants in the room all roared and try to get out of the room.
"Raaargh!" Big Mutant exclaimed, causing the Mutants to pause. He lumbered towards the rubble before smashing the rubble, easily opening the door. Walking out the doorway, the Big Mutant pointed to where the group ran while roaring that shook the hall. The Mutants roared and ran after the group to capture them all.
The group heard them and kept on running faster, passing through the hellish halls. Juliet looked back and saw that the Mutants were gaining fast, and the hall was too narrow for her to use her chainsaw.
Suddenly, two arrows with firecrackers zipped passed the group and onto the ground before it exploded, surprising the Mutants to a halt.
"Hurry!" Danny exclaimed, appearing with Renamon and Pikachu from the front. "We gotta go!"
Helen and the girls nodded at Danny while the new ones looked at him with shock. When they finally reached the hole, Glaceon made a climbing wall for them as Danny grabbed Squirtle and Charmander.
"Squirtle, spew out as much water as you can," he exclaimed as the girls and Pokémon started climbing, with Renamon firing at the Mutants with diamond-sharp leaves.
"Squirtle!" Squirtle exclaimed as he started spewing as much water as he could.
"Pikachu, shock that water with your electricity!" Danny exclaimed.
"Pika…chu!" Pikachu released a strong Thunderbolt to the water, electrifying the water.
"Not…working," Renamon commented as she saw that it only kept the Mutants at bay, not killing them.
"Yes, it is," Danny said, seeing that the hall was being covered in gas from the electrified water. "Keep it up, you guys! Charmander, charge up the biggest fireball you can!"
"Char!" Charmander opened his mouth and started making a fireball, which grew inside his mouth. Danny waited until everyone else got out of the hole.
"Pikachu! Squirtle! Stop!" Danny ordered, causing the two to stop, letting him pick them up. "Charmander, Fire! Renamon, grab us!"
When Charmander spew the fire ball in his mouth, Danny grabbed him as Renamon grabbed him by the waist and carried them out through the hole.
"Keep running!" Danny exclaimed once they were out of the hole and started running as fast as they can.
The moment the fireball touched the gas, it created a big explosion that shook the building. The group felt the building slowly crumbled down. The group ran as fast as they could as the building collapsed.
"Jump!" Helen exclaimed as they almost neared the edge. Helen jumped, followed by Juliet, Blaziken carrying May and Glaceon, Lilymon carrying Violet, LadyDevimon carrying two of the girls while the brown haired one jumped next to them. They all landed on the other building before looking at the falling building.
Renamon, carrying Charmander and Squirtle, managed to land on the building with the others before looking at Danny, who was still running, Pikachu on his shoulder. He jumped as the building finally collapsed, his arm outstretched.
He fell towards the building, but he missed, his fingers barely grazing the edge. Before his brain could process that he was about to fall to his death, a hand grabbed his, stopping him from falling to his death. Both him and Pikachu sighed in relief before he looked up to see his savior, surprised to see that it was the brown-haired woman that ran away from them.
"Thanks," he said as she pulled him up.
"Consider us even for saving us from being toys for those monsters," she said with a small smile. "Now, who are you people?"
"We're survivors, like you," Danny said as his friends walked towards him, looking relieve that he was alright, hugging him tightly. "I'm Danny, this little guy is Pikachu, and the other guys are Charmander and Squirtle."
"Pika!" Pikachu waved his little paw at them.
"Char!" Charmander followed Pikachu's lead, waving a paw at them.
"Squirtle!" Squirtle just nodded at them.
"…Renamon," Renamon said.
"Lilymon!" Lilymon said with a small smile.
"I'm Helen, and this is my daughter, Violet," Helen said as she placed her hands on Violet's shoulder.
"I'm Juliet," Juliet said, hefting her chainsaw over her shoulder, grinning at them.
"I'm May, and these are my Pokémon," May said as she gestured at Blaziken, Glaceon, and Beautifly. "The ones I brought with me, at least."
The four girls looked at each other, like they were having a silent conversation. Before they nodded, turning to look at them.

"Yeah," Danny nodded. "We were going to make a safe house in the city, so we can get more supplies."
Fujiko looked at her group, who shared a look with her, before going back to Danny.
"Come with us," she said as she and the others ran off the building. Danny looked at his friends before they followed the girls, hearing the rush of the Mutants from below.
Later…
After getting their car and supplies, the group followed Fujiko to the east part of the city. They had to park next to an abandoned deli so they could follow the girls on top of the rooftops. It was almost nighttime as they kept hopping from rooftop to rooftop.
"Are we there yet?" May asked, panting lightly,Blazken holding on to her. She may have gotten better at running during her time in the Bunker, she was still not used to free running.
"There," Fujiko said, pointing at a fortified water tower on top of an abandoned apartment building. "That's our safehouse."
When the group got in the apartment, they saw that there were makeshift fences around the edge of the building, fortifying the water tower. The gates suddenly opened, allowing them to enter. Inside, Danny and his group saw that the water tower has a big on the side while the rooftop was covered with makeshift weapons, food, and supplies.
"You're back! We were so worried," a voice said with an English accent, causing Danny's group to look and saw three girls and one woman.
One of the girls, who was holding a lever, was has brown hair styled in a ringlet ponytail held by a blue bow, fair skin, and blue eyes, wearing a light blue dress and black shoes, the second girl was Native American, with tanned skin, black eyes and red lips, her black hair tied to braided pigtails with yellow ribbons, wearing a tanned dress, the third girl was also petite and has blond, thick hair kept by a black hairband, fair skin and blue eyes, wearing a blue and white dress and black shoes, and the woman looked like the first girl, being the same age as Helen, with brown hair kept by a bun, blue eyes and fair skin, wearing a white dress and apron, with brown shoes.
"We were worried when we heard the explosion," the woman said before she noticed Danny and his group. "Who are they?"
"They're new friends we've made," Fujiko said, gesturing at Danny's group, introducing them to the three females. "Danny, these are Mary Darling, her daughter, Wendy Darling, Tiger Lily, and Alice."
"Greetings," Mary said politely.
"Hello," Wendy said with a small bow, having an accent like her mother.
"Nice to meet you," Alice said with a small bow, also with an accent.
Tiger Lily, with a stoic expression, just nodded at the group.
"Nice to meet you guys, too," Danny said before turning to Fujiko. "Thanks for letting us stay here."
"It's the least we could do," Fujiko said with a small smile. She and the others then left to change their clothes.
"Excuse me, but is that your pet?" Alice asked, gesturing at Pikachu.
"Well, Pikachu is more like a friend than a pet," Danny said as Pikachu nodded at him.

Danny looked at Pikachu, who shrugged before hopping off his shoulder and walked towards Alice, who picked him up with a big smile.

"So, what about those two?" Juliet asked, gesturing at Alice and Tiger Lily.
"We found Alice hiding in a botany garden," Mary replied. "As for Tiger Lily, we found her in an apartment store. She's actually a friend of Wendy's, though how they met, I don't know."
Suddenly, Fujiko and her group returned, wearing new clothes, but they were still a little dirty. The group then gathered beneath the water tower around a portable heater, eating canned food. As they ate, Fujiko's group asked questions, and Danny and his group weren't really hiding anything, so they answered them.
"So, you're trying to create a safe house in this city so you can travel farther?" Fujiko asked once Danny told them what they were doing.
"That's the short story," Danny replied as he drank some water. "We're also hoping of finding more resources."
"Well, it's a big city," Faye said as she pulled out a map and handed it to Danny. "We barely only covered a quarter."
Danny looked at the map of Metroville, seeing a red circle on a small quarter of it, which he recognizes as their position. He also saw a few crossed marks near the circle.
"What are the crosses mean?" he asked, looking at Faye.
"Nests," she replied in a simple tone.
"Nests?" May asked, confused as Fujiko's group looked grim.
"Those little holes where those Mutants live," Faye said as Danny's group looked shock.
"There's a lot of them," Danny commented, counting seven crosses. He then saw the one building they blew up. "Huh. Guess we can write that one off."
"You did manage to destroy one Nest," Fujiko said, musing before an idea formed in her head. "You say you want to build a safehouse? But you can't make a secure one with these Nests. So how about we make a partnership."
"Partnership?" Danny asked as the others listened intently.
"Yes, we'll help you build this safe haven, and you'll help us destroy these Nests," Fujiko said with a smile.
"I was going to destroy those Nests, so it works out fine," Danny said, surprising his group.
"Danny, are you sure?" Helen asked. "That seems dangerous."
"Those Nests must be destroyed," Danny said, a cold look in his eyes that surprised his group as well as Fujiko's group.
Suddenly, Fujiko smiled again as she held a hand to Danny.
"Then we got a deal?" she asked.
"We got a deal," he said as he took her hand, not seeing the look the girls were giving him.
Later…
Danny was resting on a ragged mattress in an empty apartment handed to him by Fujiko. He was handed his own room, since he was the only boy there. The Pokémons and Digimons were on the rooftop, keeping an eye out. Danny was looking out the window, unable to sleep as his mind wandered back in the Nest.
He rested his chin on his clasped hands as he remembered those poor women who were trapped in those pillars, closing his eyes as his hands shook, the same hands that killed those women, to free them from their suffering.
"Danny?"

Helen and Juliet looked at each other, seeing that something was bothering him. Earlier, Renamon came to the group and told them that Danny needed help. Violet and May were too tired, so Helen and Juliet went to see what was wrong.
"Are you okay?" Helen asked in a worried tone.
"Yeah, you've been acting weird ever since we got out of the Nest," Juliet said.
"I'm fine, nothing to worry about," Danny said, waving off their concern. "Just a little tired from the long da-."
Suddenly, Helen hugged him, making him stop as he felt her warm embrace.
