Juleka knocked on the door of the houseboat she had grown up in. It hadn't changed at all, and she was happy. When she had moved out to go live with Rose in her apartment, she was scared something would happen to it. Like Luka or her Mom would decide to do something… without her.
"Hey Luka, what's-"She stopped when she saw Luka's face. His eyes were swollen and red, and he wore a frown instead of his usual smile.
"Hey, Jules" Luka said attempting to smile "How's it going? Why didn't you call first?"
"Luka… What the heck happened?" She asked trying to figure out what had happened to her big brother that caused him to be like this.
"Oh, well how about we go inside and, um, have a little chat?"
Juleka nodded, and walked in, and sat on the couch. Luka sat next to her and looked down at his hands.
"Marinette broke up with me" He said quietly, not looking up.
"WHAT? WHY?" Juleka screeched. Luka nodded, and then shrugged.
"She didn't tell me why… but I was walking by "Le Café Français" and I saw her there with Adrien… and it looked like they were on a date"
Juleka growled, back in high school, she knew that Marinette had loved Adrien, but she never knew that she would stoop this low to be with him!
"I-I thought we were doing good" Luka's voice broke on 'good' and he started to cry again. Juleka just sat there for a few seconds in shock. Luka never cried. Then she pulled him into a side hug, and they just sat like that for a while. A few minutes later there was another knock on the door, Luka looked up and saw the Juleka was asleep. He gently nudged her, and when she didn't wake up, he picked her up and moved her to his bed, then went to answer the door.
