Mystic Falls, Virginia Summer 2017

There was a short pause as Bonnie's mind registered what Eric Northman just said to her.

"I have a daughter?" Bonnie stammered out the question.

"Twenty seven years into the future, you will yes." Eric confirmed.

"Are you certain of this?" She asked.

"I've laid eyes on her myself many times, including where I last left her behind in 2044." Eric directed at Bonnie. "So, I'm absolutely certain of this."

Listening to the tall, blonde vampire, Damon reacted in disbelief.

With her head swarming with a bunch of questions, Bonnie didn't know quite where she was supposed to go next, so she probed. "And if this daughter of mine, were to exist, then how old would she be?"

"Oh, she's quite grown in the year 2044." Eric responded.

"How old?" Bonnie furrowed her brow.

"Twenty." There was a smile to the tone of Eric's voice. "She's twenty."

Damon's eyes shot up at the answer.

Eric's answer astounded Bonnie, it was difficult enough to imagine herself having a daughter who was yet to even be born or exist in her womb, yet the possibility of her having one who was supposedly twenty years old in 2044 left her feeling staggered.

Damon inquired. "So this daughter of hers from the future, what would be her name?"

Eric directed this to the eldest Salvatore. "Autumn."

"Oh." Damon said, thinking to himself how he could actually picture Bonnie naming her girl such a darling name.

The emerald eyed witch was taken aback because at one point she had contemplated on whether or not she would want children and she had even come up with a list of possible names in her mind of what she would potentially name her children. She had imagined what she would name any girls she had and the name 'Autumn.' had been one of those in which she considered. She always believed that name to be pretty.

Yet when she had given up all ideals on the possibility of motherhood when she had gotten with Enzo, due to him being a vampire who wasn't able to procreate. Yet now here Eric Northman was telling her how she would be a mother in the future and had also named her daughter one of the names she had listed down in the case of her ever having a girl.

Eric studied her reaction, waiting to see if she had anything else to ask of him.

"You say.." Bonnie went on slowly. "She's in some sort of danger?"

"Autumn means a great deal of significance to me." Eric stated with full sincerity. "I'm very committed to keeping her safe, she's the reason why I'm here, the reason I traveled back in time."

Bonnie eyed Eric closely. "Significant how?"

Eric expressed. "There's a lot more I need to explain to you, I'll answer any questions the two of you might have for me. But, perhaps we all should go elsewhere to discuss it all. Just to be cautious, I don't know whether or not Skyler Parker has sent someone else after you tonight, so it might not be wise to keep talking out in the open like this."

Bonnie's eyes scanned the park around them, other than her, Damon, Eric, and Haden who was still on the ground, there was no one else around. Still she guessed Eric had a point about them staying out in the open, not knowing whether or not Haden could be the only person who had planned an ambush on her.

"Yeah, you're right." Damon spoke to Eric. "We should take this conversation to a place more private, but don't we have a problem to handle first?"

Bonnie and Eric turned their attention towards Damon.

"What are we going to do with this guy?" Damon motioned to Haden. "If he did try to ambush Bonnie, should we just leave him be?"

"Excellent point." Eric remarked. "Maybe I could see if he talks."

The Viking vampire kneeled down next to Haden, who still had a bleeding wound in his neck where he had sunk his fangs into. Haden was in no condition to talk as he had lost blood because of Eric drinking from him, to remedy that, he extended his fangs and bit into his forearm. Then he shoved his bleeding wound against Haden's mouth.

Eric kept his forearm pressed against Haden's mouth just enough for Haden to get a couple of small gulps of his blood, then Eric yanked his forearm away. He waited a moment for his blood to heal Haden's neck. Yet Haden was still taking a while to come around.

Eric commanded Haden. "Wake up."

Although Haden was now more alert due to the small amount of Eric's blood, he still took his time in coming to.

So Eric slapped him across his cheek.

Which got Haden to snap his eyes open. "Yo, dude what the fuck?"

"Who sent you here?" Eric started off the interrogation.

"What are you talking about?" Haden acted as if someone had come out of a deep sleep or trance.

"A woman sent you here with the order to kill." Eric hinted.

However, Haden seemed confused by what Eric hinted at. "Who, what woman?"

"A woman by the name of Skyler Parker, you spoke with her either earlier today or some time within the last couple of days." Eric pressed.

"I never spoke to anyone by that name." Haden shook his head.

"Don't lie to me." Eric warned. "I know you met her, as there's no other explanation for why you decided to make an attempt on Bonnie Bennett's life tonight."

Haden frowned. "I did wh…"

Eric interrupted. "Skyler Parker sent you off on a mission to do an evil deed for her and you're going to tell me where she is hiding."

"I swear dude, I don't know who you're talking about."

"Of course you do, you just have to dig deep into that puny brian of yours."

Haden's eyes nearly bulged out of his sockets. "Dig deep for what? Some woman I have never met before in my life."

Eric narrowed his eyes. "If you are hiding where she is to cover for her, then I strongly suggest for the betterment of yourself that you give up her location."

"I already told you I have no idea who you're talking about." Haden blathered out. "I'm not hiding anyone. I swear."

"She calls herself Skyler Parker." Eric's tone was like a police detective trying to get a suspect to confess to a crime.

"Never known a Skyler Parker." Haden rambled in a daze.

Eric attempted to go with a different approach. "Maybe she didn't give you her name then, but you must know what she would look like, a woman with red hair."

Haden licked at his dry lips. "I haven't laid eyes on a woman with red hair, not today or any time this week. At least not one who ordered me to do an evil deed, because I wouldn't agree to do an evil deed for any person."

Eric sighed calmly, even while his eyes weren't as calm as his voice. "You're not being truthful, there was a woman you did see, she did send you out to commit an act of violence, I know this whether you wish to admit to it or not."

"I didn't do shit." Haden raised his voice. "Why are you hassling me, I just came here to work tonight."

"He's acting like he doesn't know anything." Bonnie muttered.

"He has to know." Eric returned. "My hunch is correct, I just know he is or was somehow under the command of Skyler Parker, he's under the order of her ill will and just doesn't want to come forward about it now."

"Maybe because he's scared off now?" Bonnie pondered.

"Or he's just pretending to be scared and putting on an act." Eric commented. "How can we be sure he won't make another attempt?"

Damon suggested. "Maybe I should see if he'll talk."

Eric moved back to his feet. "Be my guest."

Going over to Haden, Damon latched onto the man's collar and jerked him to his feet.

Again, Haden reacted in a startled manner as if someone had just woken up out of a deep sleep. "What the fuck again? What is the deal with you dudes?"

"Tell us what you know." Damon demanded out of the park worker.

"Know about what?" Haden batted back with his own question.

"About what you attempted to do tonight." Damon snapped out.

"But, all I've done tonight is work, like I do every night on my shift here." Haden looked confused. "I don't get why you and this other guy have some bone to pick with mr or act like I did something wrong."

Damon had very little patience when it came to a person who would want to kill or harm Bonnie in any fashion. He would always prioritize protecting the witch and keeping her safe. So Haden, avoiding the questioning of him and Eric Northman, while refusing to own up to making an attempt on Bonnie's life, had Damon's patience wearing down even thinner.

Damon bellowed. "You were planning to attack a woman I care very deeply for."

Haden's eyes darted to Bonnie, before bouncing back to Damon. "Who her?"

"You were going to beat her to death." Damon glared.

"No, No, I wasn't. I swear I don't have a violent bone in my body." Again Haden's eyes nearly bulged out of his sockets.

"Then why were you following her, huh." Damon asked in a relentless tone. "And why were you waiting in the bushes to ambush her?"

Haden seemed bothered by this accusation. "You make me seem like a psychopath stalker who waits to jump out of the bushes to attack an unsuspecting woman."

Damon tightened his grip on Haden's collar. "Perhaps that is because you planned to pull a psychopath stalker act on Bonnie over here. You just might want to come clean for your own good."

Haden huffed out. "I told you already, I'm not a violent type of man. And I would never attack a defenseless woman, I don't believe in that. Especially not as nice of a woman as Bonnie Bennett is."

"How do I know you're not just saying this because you got caught before you could finish the deed?" Damon challenged.

"Because I'm being honest." Haden raised up his hands. "Again I swear."

"If that's the case, then why were you stalking her with a garden hoe in hand?" Damon used his head to motion to the garden hoe on the ground.

Haden looked over at the garden hoe, blinking as if he hadn't known how it got there. "I don't even remember taking that out of the toolshed or bringing it over here."

Damon narrowed his eyes. "Really, is that your ploy?"

The Eldest Salvatore continued to try and get answers out of Haden Barnes. And as he did, Bonnie took notice of something in Haden's demeanor and how the park worker was behaving. He wasn't exactly behaving in the manner of a man who had intended to commit murder or someone who got caught red handed in about to murder a person. Haden Barnes seemed honestly confused and clueless as to Eric's, followed by Damon's questioning of him. And it wasn't because of him just trying to get himself out of trouble after getting caught.

Haden Barnes' behavior was that of someone who had just woken up out of a sleep or coma, who couldn't recall or remember the things that happened while they were asleep or in a coma. He seemed dazed, as if his mind had been in some sort of clouded haze. This is all of what Bonnie observed throughout Damon's pressing questioning of the man.

"I think he could be actually telling the truth here." Bonnie intervened.

"How can he be telling the truth? He has to know more than he is letting on." Eric expressed as he just knew his instincts were correct about Haden.

Damon added. "His activities definitely are suspicious looking back on it with hindsight." He himself had spotted Haden in the park when he had arrived and thought nothing of it. Yet there Haden had been acting in a manner in what could be described as off.

Bonnie mentioned. "I mean, I believe he knows information about whatever he was sent here to do to me tonight, he just doesn't know that he knows."

Damon glanced over in Bonnie's direction. "What do you mean?"

Bonnie explained. "If Haden Barnes was attempting to ambush me or whatever tonight, then he did so involutionarly."

"Are you saying he was under some mind control?" Eric connected what Bonnie was trying to say.

"This Skyler Parker, she's supposed to be a sorceress?" Bonnie inquired.

Eric nodded his head.

"Then she must have used her sorcery magic to place Haden under some sort of spell to come after me or attack me." Bonnie continued. "That is if she's really out there somewhere, then I suspect that is what happened."

"How can you tell he was sent here involutionallay and not on his own accord, as some way to gain something by ambushing you for this Skyler Parker's sake?" Pondered Damon.

"I've just enough experience with magic to recognize the signs. I observed Haden seeming dazed and confused, like his brian is caught up in a sort of haze. He honestly doesn't seem to know what either of you are referring to when you questioned him." Bonnie mumbled. "It's like he's in a trance, yet doesn't recall talking to or interacting with the one who placed him into a trance."

Damon loosened his grip on Haden. "Alright, let's say he's placed under a magical trance. How do we know whether or not he's still under it? Or if he'll make an attempt on your life again?"

The witch closely took in Haden's demeanor. "I don't think he'll be attempting any more attacks on me for as long as he's under control of his own mind. The trance on him appeared to be broken once he suffered some blood loss from the neck wound he had."

Eric stepped up. "So, I broke Skyler Parker's mind control over him, when I stopped him from attacking you by sinking my fangs into his neck. I'm glad if this is the case. But, we can't just exactly let him go either, as he still has information about her whereabouts."

"I understand where you're coming from." Bonnie shifted her stance slightly towards the tall, blond vampire. "We shouldn't let him go, or at least not without a way to keep an eye on him or to make sure he doesn't get placed back into a trance again."

"Do you think there's a way to extract this information about how he was put into a trance from him?" Damon wished to know.

"I'm sure there's a spell I could do to counteract the trance or what Skyler Parker may have done to him. I just can't figure it out from the top of my head. As I'll have to search through my grimoires." Bonnie sighed. "But, yeah I could figure out a way to extract the answers we need from his mind, even the ones he can't recall himself due to them being stuck deep into his subconscious."

"Then we need to make sure he'll be somewhere in which we know where he is, until you can figure out a way to do what you explained." Damon stated.

Eric put in. "It would be good if we knew where to track him down when we need him."

Damon concurred. "It would." He then demanded of Haden. "What is your address?"

"Why do you need to know where I live?" Haden frowned.

"Your address." Damon barked.

Haden quickly blurted out his address to them.

Eric moved next to Haden. "I'll handle the next part."

"If you feel like it will help." Damon inched away from Haden and closer to Bonnie.

Eric got right in front of Haden's face. "Pay close attention to me."

Haden focused his attention on the tall blonde man.

"Do not speak to no one else about this scene that played out here tonight, comprehend?" Eric stared into the eyes of the shorter man.

"I comprehend, I won't speak about this scene here which just played out to no one." Haden said.

"You must and will only speak to one or more of the three of us about what happened. You must wait until we come to you about the answers we seek. You will remain in your place of residence, until I say it's otherwise okay for you to leave there." Eric went on.

"Yes, I'll do all you tell me to do and nothing more." Haden babbled. "And I'll only speak with you three people."

Eric grabbed Haden's shoulder to make sure the man stayed focused on him. "Now this is the most important part."

Haden licked his lips once more. "Yes?"

Eric ordered in his usual calm tone. "You aren't to talk with anyone else about this matter. And you're especially to avoid a red headed woman by the name of Skyler Parker. In fact just to be safe how about you avoid interacting with red headed women until further notice. If some of such descriptions approach you again, you must do all you can to turn in the other direction."

"I won't interact with any red headed woman until you tell me it's okay to." Haden stuttered.

"Now you're to go to your home and remain there until one of us comes to talk to you for more answers." Eric finished.

"I'll go home immediately if it's what you want." Haden frowned slightly.

Eric dropped his hand from Haden's shoulder. "Then go straight there, without making stops."

With that, Haden Barnes turned, walking off to do as he had been told by Eric.

They all watched him as he walked off, getting further and further away from them on the path.

"He's taken care of for now at least." Damon remarked.

"So, as I had been saying, we should go elsewhere in which we can discuss the rest of this matter." Eric commented to them.

"The boarding house." Damon offered. "It's not out in the open and it will be private enough where you can tell me and Bonnie the rest of what we need to know."

Bonnie agreed with Damon. "We should indeed go there for more privacy, plus Stefan and Caroline are there, we can get their input on this unbelievable development."

Eric used a handkerchief to wipe the blood from his mouth. "Then I'll see you at the boarding house."

Damon inquired. "Need directions there?"

"No, I don't." Eric informed. "I already know where this particular location of your place is."

Both Damon and Bonnie took notice of this, as they knew they had never given the location of the boarding house to anyone named Eric Northman before. Needless to say this had their interest peaked to see whether or not he actually knew where the house was.

"Okay, then we'll all go to the boarding house." Bonnie said.

"I'll meet you there." Eric remarked, before he took off in a blur with vampire speed.

The dark haired vampire and green eyed witch stood there in shock for about a half of a minute.

"I guess we better get going." Bonnie stated after a while.

"I'll escort you back to the parking lot." Damon rubbed a hand across the back of his neck. "Since both of our cars are parked there."

She mouthed her agreement and the two of them started to walk side by side, on the path which led to the parking lot.

"So, how are you doing?" Damon inquired from her.

"Um, somewhat rattled over what occurred over the last forty minutes." Was Bonnie's reply. "Otherwise I'm doing okay, I guess."

Damon prompted. "And how do you lean on these claims Eric Northman is making? Do you give it any credence? Do you believe him?"

Bonnie rubbed her arms. "I'm not sure just how to handle the claims he made just yet, it's just so staggering, you know, a lot for me to take in. And I'm still not one hundred percent on how to handle these claims or the man who made them. I am open to seeing how reliable it is and he is though."

Damon felt the same way she did.

"What about you?" Bonnie queried. "Are you buying Eric Northman and his story?"

"He convinced me enough that it's important to hear him out with the rest of what he has to reveal to you and I." Damon shrugged. "Usually I can get a feel right off of when someone is lying and so far I'm not exactly getting that feeling with him. I'm waiting to hear him out more and will take my judgement from there."

"I think that is the best approach we can take for now."

"He does at least seem to be telling the truth about Haden, there was definitely something suspicious about his behaviors tonight and why he was luring in the bushes ahead of where you were jogging."

Bonnie commented with lowering her brows. "Something was off about Haden, as I explained he got placed under some magical trance. And connecting it all together, he did seem set on attacking me in some form. So, Eric Northman is at least telling the truth about that matter."

Damon muttered. "Which makes me more willing to hear the rest of this revelation he claims to have for us."

"Me too." Bonnie said.

They walked down the path a little further.

After a while, Bonnie reached for her phone, she took it into her hands and began strolling through her contacts.

Damon watched as she did this. "Who are you calling?"

"Enzo." Bonnie blew out a breath. "It just came to my mind to call him and let him know about what has just occurred. I can imagine how upset he would be if I didn't inform him of what just happened."

"You're right to call and tell Enzo about all of this." Damon commented. "He should know since it involves you and it wouldn't do us well for him to be kept out of the loop on this, as it would only make this involving situation more complex in a way we don't need."

"Exactly, I'm not about to make things more difficult by having him give the third degree about why I didn't let him know about this." She eyed her phone. "Better to reveal it to him now, as he'll certainly find out about the situation at one point or the other. And I would rather be from me than someone else."

So, Damon listened as Bonnie clicked on Enzo's number, he picked up on Enzo's ringtone as Bonnie pressed her phone to her ear.

Enzo, who was at the cabin picked up with a "Hello, love."

"Enzo, I'm going to be late getting home tonight." Bonnie began.

"Why did something happen to hold you up?" Enzo's voice came through the phone.

"Something in fact did happen." She glanced at the Eldest Salvatore as she spoke to her British vampire boyfriend. "There was an alarming circumstance which occurred to me while I was jogging at the park."

"What alarming circumstance? Are you hurt?" Enzo's concerned voice came through.

Bonnie shook her head. "No, I'm not hurt, I'm perfectly fine physically."

Enzo then asked. "And the alarming circumstance you speak of?"

"Well, I was potentially almost ambushed by a man tonight."

"The bloody hell?"

"Don't worry, it has been handled." Bonnie spoke before to calm him down before he could get too upset. "Yet, it's also the reason why I'm going to be late coming home to the cabin tonight."

Enzo garbled into his phone. "But, why in the world did some man try to ambush you, what in the bloody hell went down at the park?"

Bonnie returned. "It's far too complex for me to be able to tell you over the phone. I'm going to the boarding house where the situation will be further discussed there."

Enzo said back with exasperation. "Then I'll be there at the boarding house as soon as possible, I'm leaving right now as a matter of fact."

Before Bonnie could say anything in return, Enzo had ended the phone call. She put her phone away with a sigh, and her and Damon walked the rest of the way to the parking lot in silence, keeping their thoughts to themselves.

Each of them got behind the wheel of their prospective vehicles and drove their way to the boarding house, with Damon's car following closely behind Bonnie's. A short time later the both of them pulled into the driveway of the boarding house. There they spotted Eric Northman perched near the outside entrance way of the Salvatore home.

And they thought how it was one notch in the book of Eric Northman's credibility, as neither had discussed with him the location or the exact direction of the house. Yet he had found his way, as if he had been there before. And Damon knew for a fact that it hadn't been Stefan who had told the blonde vampire where their home was, as Stefan would have mentioned meeting with Eric Northman. And would never be the type to not let Damon be aware of there being someone who the younger Salvatore had invited to their place.

As Damon and Bonnie stepped out of their cars, Eric removed himself from the place he had been perched, waiting for their arrival.

"After you." He simply directed at them both.

So, Damon with Bonnie next to him, used his key to open the door to the boarding house, they stepped in followed closely by Eric. Eric made close observations of the Salvatore home as they made their way further inside.

The Bennett witch and dark haired, blue eyed Salvatore vampire made their way through, searching for Stefan and Caroline, of which they found both in the library room. The two were sitting cozily next to each other, as it appeared they were enjoying some couple time together, while reading a book.

The both of them looked up when Damon, followed by Bonnie stepped into the room.

"Damon, you are back at home." Stefan greeted before his eyes shifted to Bonnie. "Bonnie, what a nice surprise."

"Certainly is!" Caroline beamed at her friend. "We weren't expecting you to show up here tonight."

"I wasn't expecting to be here either." Bonnie's tone was that of someone who knew something potentially big was about to be revealed to her friends.

Damon added with the same tone. "Her appearance here is unexpected, yet so is the cause of her being here?"

A perplexed expression came upon Caroline's features. "What is the unexpected cause of her being here then?"

Eric then entered the library, joining Damon, Bonnie, Stefan, and Caroline there.

"Speaking of the unexpected, we also brought along an unexpected guest." Damon motioned to the taller, vampire.

Stefan and Caroline shared dual expressions of the common reactions people had when they laid eyes on someone they had never met or seen before in their lives. Or the typical reaction of when someone saw a stranger or someone they didn't know in their home.

"Who is this?" Stefan wondered.

"I have the same question as my husband does." Caroline looked at Eric. "Who is this strange man and why is he in our home?"

"Eric Northman is the name." Eric introduced himself to the married couple. "Nice to meet you."

"We still don't know you, Mr. Northman." Caroline said. "So, why are you in our home exactly?"

"You may not know me, but I know of you." Eric stated.

Caroline blinked her eyes, becoming even more perplexed. "Huh?"

Eric worded in a specific manner. "Stefan and Caroline Salvatore, I'm glad to see you pair again, even though I wish it were under better circumstances."

Stefan got his typical look when he caught off guard by something he didn't see coming. "How do you know our names, Caroline nor I have ever seen you before."

Eric remarked. "No, you haven't, not in this time period at least."

This got Damon and Bonnie to exchange a glance.

"We have seen each other before sort of." Eric thought of the future where he had seen and interacted with Stefan and Caroline. "And I do know you, even if you have yet to know me."

"You do?" Feeling bewildered by Eric's comments, Caroline scratched her head

Eric's eyes scanned the surroundings of the room. "I've been here before as well."

Now Stefan felt bewildered. "You have?"

"Although when I last visited, there were some renovations made." Eric recalled the outlay of the inside of the boarding house and how it would be in 2044. "Yet much of it looks the same."

"Okay, does anyone want to let us in on what the heck is going on here?" Caroline slapped her knee.

"I was almost ambushed tonight at the park where I went to jog." Bonnie took the lead.

Caroline gasped. "You were what?"

Damon jumped in. "Haden Barnes apparently had his mind set on attacking her."

Stefan held up a hand. "Wait, why would Haden Barnes decide to attack Bonnie of all people, he seems like a decent man from what I've seen about him around town."

Bonnie explained. "He wasn't actually in control of his mind at the moment."

"This is where Eric Northman here comes in." Damon mentioned. "Haden Barnes has something to do with why we met him at the park and why he is now here."

"Mr. Northman prevented Haden from ambushing me." Bonnie added.

"It's true." Eric joined in on the explanation. "I spotted Barnes stalking her with a garden hoe planning to beat her to death with it and put a stop to it."

Caroline waved her hands in front of her. "Whoa, Whoa, I'm not getting it. Why wasn't Haden Barnes in control of his own actions, when he attempted this ambush. Is that supposed to mean he was being run like some thoughtless zombie."

Stefan consolidated. "And why would Eric Northman over there be invested in saving Bonnie's life? How was he exactly able to know ahead of time that she could have been ambushed tonight."

Bonnie sighed. "It's a lengthy and complicated story. More than Damon or I could ever tell you. But, Eric here, he has information and you both should listen to him."

"Trust us." Damon said "You'll want and need to hear what he has to say."

"Yes." Eric stepped forward, as he directed to Stefan and Caroline. "It is of foremost importance for you two to be informed on this particular matter which brings me here."

The Viking vampire gave them a similar version of the account he had given to Damon and Bonnie. Including the details about how he had time traveled twenty years from the future, how Kai Parker had been brought back to life by Skyler Parker. And his details also included how Bonnie had killed Kai Parker in the future and how Skyler now wanted to seek violent vengeance upon Bonnie and Damon. He told them these things, but especially focused on the parts of Damon and Bonnie's lives being in danger and Skyler Parker being the reason for why their lives were in danger.

By the time Eric had finished detailing this to Stefan and Caroline, the both of them had reactions of shock and being taken aback upon their features.

Damon saw the expressions on his brother's and his brother's wife's faces. "Yep, I had that exact same reaction when you guys did about this, I was bowled over and I'm still quite astounded by the implications of all we found out from Northman so far to be quite honest."

"Same here, as I said before it seems like an unbelievable development, in which I figured we should get your input on." Bonnie made this statement to Caroline and Stefan. "I'm still trying to come to grips with and wrap my head around all of it and everything we were just told and made aware of why Haden Barnes may have attempted to ambush me at the park, although as I said through no control of his own."

"Wait, so Kai Parker is or will be soon brought back to life?" Stefan tried to understand.

"And he has a wife named Skyler or will in the future?" Caroline tried to get all of what Eric Northman had just detailed to them.

"Yeah." Damon voiced with zero humor. "Skyler is a huge fan of the Kai Parker fanclub and apparently marries him in some sick and twisted union."

Bonnie vocalized with disgust. "I mean she would have to be sick and twisted to marry someone as sick and twisted as Kai is. And if Eric over here is telling us the truth, then she also has Kai's same thirst for violence, as she wishes to end the life of me and Damon."

Caroline looked at Eric. "So, Skyler Parker traveled from the future on some murder mission?"

Eric responded. "She did and I was sent here by Bonnie or the future version of Bonnie to put a stop to it and to make sure her murder mission doesn't become successful."

Caroline released a deep breath. "You're right Bonnie, this is an unbelievable development."

"I told you so." Bonnie muttered.

"And you think that all of this is happening, Damon?" This inquiry came from Stefan.

"I believe enough when it comes to seeing Haden Barnes on the ground, with a garden hoe next to him, in which he almost attacked Bon with and would if it weren't for Eric Northman coming in to stop him from doing so." Damon mumbled with a hunch of his shoulder. "Which has me convinced enough to hear him out on the rest of what he has to say."

Bonnie put in. "And I'm open enough to see how reliable these claims are."

Stefan directed this to both Damon and Bonnie. "I'll admit my interest has peaked, if someone is here to try and harm the two of you, then I want to be informed about it, then be unaware."

Caroline expressed. "I concur with Stefan, if there's some crazy bitch out there who is after my best friend and brother in law, then we need to listen and learn all we need to learn about this development as unbelievable as it may be."

Eric rejoined the conversation. "I'm for one am relieved and glad you all are at least giving me a chance to drop these revelations on you, because as shocking as they may be, I'm being completely honest with you, it's why I was able to know all of your names, even without telling me who you were."

"He did know who Damon and I were, and we didn't even introduce ourselves to him." Bonnie pointed out.

"And he also knew where this house was without us even giving him directions here." Damon mentioned.

"And he knew our names too." Caroline casted a gaze towards her husband. "And spoke like he's seen our home before."

"Which makes his story more plausible and puts a check in his credibility department." Stefan commented.

Bonnie told Eric. "We're just trying to gather our thoughts and feelings over this development, if you think it's weird we're discussing you while you're in the room."

Eric returned with a slight curve of his lips. "Oh, I understand, I most likely wouldn't even believe all of this myself, if I hadn't been the one to experience travel time or witness what I've told you I've witnessed from the future."

The room was silent for a brief second.

Then Eric spoke again to break the silence. "Since I've now told you about Skyler Parker and her motives for traveling back in time twenty seven years, we can all team up together to keep an eye out for her. The more of us who do, the less chance she has at being successful at her murder mission."

Stefan wanted to know. "So, if Skyler Parker is actually here in 2017, waiting to try and kill Damon and Bonnie, then what does she look like? Can you describe her appearance to us?"

Caroline inputted. "It won't help if we knew what she looked like."

"She's about 5' 7" , has long dark red hair." Eric gave the description of Skyler. "Caucasian, with her skintone being what could be called ivory. And well she has this certain demeanor about her, a look in her eyes where you can tell she is unhinged."

"Got it." Said Bonnie as they all took mental note of how Eric had described Skyler Parker's appearance.

"And to the cherry on top of this bombshell sundae is Bon Bon apparently has a daughter or will have." Damon uttered dramatically.

Hearing this nearly made Stefan's hero hair stand up on end as he reacted in surprise. "Does she, she will?"

"Uh supposedly as of the year 2044, where she is twenty years old." As Bonnie murmured this, she still felt overwhelmed with the idea of her having being a mother in the future, with a daughter who didn't even exist yet in the current year of 2017.

"Oh my God." Caroline's eyes widened in astonishment as she eyed Bonnie.

Eric just recalled how he had yet to tell Stefan or Caroline about Autumn. As they her Uncle and Aunt prospectively. "Yes, I mean to reveal more important information about the circumstances surrounding the situation relating to her."

Caroline jumped in. "You're actually saying you've seen evidence of this daughter of Bonnie's existence?"

Eric replied. "As I've said before, I've laid eyes on her many times, so I'm one hundred percent confident of her existence."

Stefan asked. "If she exists, then what would be her name?"

"Autumn." Eric answered quickly.

Caroline released audible gasps.

"What is it?" Stefan casted a gaze the way of his wife.

"Nothing." Caroline pressed her lips firmly together.

"You said you would answer any question we had about this daughter of mine." Bonnie remembered what he had said at the park.

Eric gave a nod in Bonnie's direction. "As I mentioned, I have a lot more I need to explain to you all, including about her. And I'll answer all of the questions you need answering to, to the best of my abilities."

Bonnie signaled out of curiosity to learn more. "Then what is she like, who is she exactly? Since you've experience being around her?"

"Autumn, she's stunningly beautiful, amazingly intriguing. Fierce in a good way, filled with much wit, kind, brave, incredible." Eric expressed with fondness in his tone and on the features of his face and he talked about Autumn. "She's strong and courageous. And just all around a spectacular, brilliant person. I've never experienced being around a woman like her in my entire life."

Taking note of the fondness in which Eric Northman discussed her apparent future daughter, Bonnie arched a brow. "So, you were being serious when you said she is very significant to you."

Eric smiled slightly. "Correct, when I told you she means a great deal of significance to me, I meant it with every fiber of my being."

Bonnie went on. "With the way you're going I take it you're close with her or otherwise she wouldn't mean a great deal to you."

Although it may have been a lot awkward as Autumn had put it, for him to be discussing his feelings about and for her to her parents, Eric knew he had to be truthful with everything if he were to gain their trust and have them believe in him and his story about how he had traveled from the future to protect them and stop Skyler from murdering them.

"Her and I do indeed have a very close relationship and we've formed a tight bond." Eric's tone filled with a warming, tenderness as he continued to discuss Autumn and his relationship with her. She has a very firm hold on my affections. I'm endeared and devoted to her very much so. And she holds immense meaning to my life in a way which I don't care about a lot of people, yet she is in the small circle of those in which I care about. And I care about her substantially."

"And Bonnie's daughter, Autumn, you said how she's the reason why you're here." Damon recollected as he observed Eric explaining in detail his feelings for the witch's future daughter.

"She is the reason I traveled back in time." Eric confirmed with sincerity. "If Skyler Parker is successful and gets her way, then it places Autumn's very existence in danger, she'll die, she'll lose her life and I can't handle such a tragedy, I won't let it happen, because I can't lose her."

Letting out a shaky sigh, Bonnie then inquired. "This is still so staggering, yet if this is really going to be my daughter or if I'm to believe she's going to exist one day in my life, then I must know."

Eric shifted his attention back towards Bonnie. "Yes?"

"How does she come into my life exactly?" Bonnie needed to know.

"As far as?" Eric needed to know the meaning of her inquiry before further establishing an answer for her.

"As far as the creation of her, I mean I currently have a vampire boyfriend who can't procreate." Bonnie stated about Enzo without mentioning his name. "So, how do or would I become a mother with a vampire boyfriend?"

She had yet to realize how mistaken she was about the vampire not being able to procreate theory. Eric voiced to himself within his mind, she may have thought it not to be possible for a vampire to be able to get her pregnant, yet one did. It just happened to be that she was thinking of the wrong vampire, as he understood Enzo St. John had been her current boyfriend as of 2017.

And Eric released how he had yet to reveal who the father of her future daughter was. So, she not only was mistaken about a vampire not being able to procreate with her, she was mistaken about Enzo being the one vampire of whom she would be still with. As she had yet to learn that Damon would be the vampire she would be with in the long term future and it was Damon who would become the father of her child. Yet, Eric couldn't blame her, she had no clues about the circumstances of her future and all of the details of how Autumn fit into it, which was it was up to him to fill the Bennett Witch in all of those circumstances.

Bonnie kept going. "Does this mean I'm going to end up adopting my future daughter."

Eric responded. "Adoption? No, you are to become Autumn's birth mother. She has every bit of your blood in her DNA as any person would have of their bio parents."

"So, Bonnie ends up with a human guy in the future then?" Damon pondered with curiosity.

"Negative." Eric returned.

"Then who is going to become the future father of my child then?" Bonnie grew perplexed.

"I can tell you with one hundred percent certainty how it would be the man you're currently with as of now." Eric expressed.

Him eliminating Enzo, while also eliminating a human man as the potential father of her birth child, only made everyone in the room more bewildered and confused.

Eric saw their confusion and focused on Damon and Bonnie. "It appears you missed or didn't register what I told you earlier at the park."

"I think we got most of the important details out of all you revealed to us while we were at the park." Damon spoke of himself and Bonnie. "So, please clue us in on what we might have missed out on, because I'm totally confused right now."

"Me too." Bonnie mumbled.

"I can see how a particular statement I made to you went right over your heads." Eric paused. "And I guess it's natural for that to happen, as both of your brains must be overloaded by the peculiar situation involving everything relating to this evolution of events surrounding Skyler Parker and I arriving from the future."

Damon and Bonnie glanced at each other, shrugging their shoulders, as they didn't have a clue as to what was unfolding.

"Perhaps it's best if you two have a seat for what I'm about to fill you in on next." Eric suggested.

"Have a seat?" Damon remarked. "When people order someone else to have a seat it's usually because they have some big news to reveal."

"Yeah, one they believe will have some big emotional impact." Bonnie commented.

"Which is why I'm suggesting for the two of you to have a seat." Eric gestured. "Because trust me, the next thing I have to say will indeed have a big emotional impact neither of you may not quite be ready for."

The Eldest Salvatore and Bennett Witch said "Okay" in unison as they both took a seat, in chairs that were right next to each other. They had been standing throughout the whole time since they entered the library. And what Eric had already revealed, already had a big emotional impact. So they wondered what exactly this disclosure was, in which he thought they needed to brace themselves for by taking a seat.

The Viking vampire cleared his throat. "Remember how I said Autumn's life, her very existence would be in danger if one or either of you were to die?"

Both of them admitted they recognized Eric telling them these words when he spoke with them earlier that night at the park.

Eric further clarified. "It's not just you pair in which Skyler Parker wants to seek vengeance against. Her wrath extends to Autumn as well. And because her anger extends to her, Autumn is also a target of her violence she wants to inflict on the both of you. She is just happening to go after Autumn indirectly."

"By coming back to the past, Skyler Parker's mission also includes wiping away Autumn from existence, essentially killing her, and she wishes to do that through traveling here to the past and ending Autumn being born before she even has a chance to be created. And the way she intends to do that is by ending the lives of either or the both of you in this 2017 time period."

By the time Eric had finished explaining to them how Skyler intended to wipe away Autumn's life before it even began, through targeting either one or both of them. Damon and Bonnie had already started to connect the shocking dots before Eric Northman even said these next words.

"The male bio figure of your future child, of Autumn, Ms. Bonnie Bennett is none other than well….Damon Salvatore."

Stefan and Caroline's mouths dropped open at the exact same moment, taken aback and astounded to hear Eric Northman make the statement about how it was Damon who would be the one to procreate a child with Bonnie.

Damon, who was completely stunned, nearly fell out of his chair. The last thing he expected Eric Northman to say was that he, not Enzo or some other man of Bonnie's future, would end up creating a future daughter with her. And yet Eric, who had been seemingly honest with all else he revealed so far, was now telling them how he 'Damon Salvatore, would be the one to father Bonnie Bennett's child. Damon was absolutely thrown for a loop.

Bonnie didn't expect Eric Northman to reveal such earth shattering news either. And the fact of her best friend, Damon being the man who she would supposedly make and co-parent Autumn with, had her feeling all sorts of ways. The first of which had her feeling completely floored in ways words couldn't explain. In fact Eric clarifying how Damon would be the key to her future daughter being born into her life had a rush of emotions come over her. To the point where she felt like she could faint.

Eric saw the expressions on their faces and the way they reacted to this particular bombshell. "This is why I suggested for the two of you to have a seat."

It was no wonder Eric Northman had them take a seat, as what he had to say relating to Damon and Bonnie being the future co-parents of a woman who would be twenty years old as if the year 2044, was indeed huge impactful, emotional news.

"No freaking way." A still stunned Damon vocalized.

"How can this be?" Bonnie stuttered as she tried to steady her emotions.

"I've been honest with all of you so far about everything relating to this situation. And again as periculiar as if may be, all of it's the truth. I have no reason to lie about this." Eric told them. "You will be the future parents of Autumn, you have my word on this."

"I…." Bonnie tried to say and yet was left speechless as she didn't know how in the world she was supposed to handle such a shocking disclosure. Because once again it was just that earth shattering to how her life would end up playing out.

Damon tried to wrap his mind and emotions around it, because if it were true, then his life would be altered and changed in a huge way, by him not somehow becoming the father of a child, but becoming the father of the child with the woman he had deep feelings for and so far hadn't discussed those feelings with anyone other than Stefan so far.

Damon expressed. "It's impossible."

Eric shifted his eyes back towards Damon.

"Let's say that even if by some instance or circumstance Bonnie and I were to actually go." Damon felt sudden nervousness at saying sex, so he just said. "There."

Bonnie bowed her head and blushed at Damon implying the two of them having sexual intercourse.

"I'm a vampire." Damon swallowed his nervousness to push through what he needed to get out next. "I can't procreate or make any babies with any woman."

"In reality, the vast majority of vampires can't procreate or become the bio parents of children." Eric established. "Yet you are or will be the exception to the rule, you will be the future father figure of Autumn. And in fact you being a vampire is partly why Autumn's birth and very existence will be considered a miracle in the supernatural world."

Bonnie gathered herself. "Somehow you're telling me Damon and I are going to have a child together, yet how can it be so if he and I are just friends."

Damon added with a certain demeanor. "Right, Bon Bon and I are just friends, so how am I going to be the future Dad of her daughter?"

As they had said this, they avoided eye contact with each other. The implications of them having potential sexual relations or intercourse in the ensuing years had them sharing the same duel feelings of two people who had shared feelings relating to sensuality and intimacy, yet couldn't just bring themselves to admit it. And due to these emotions being brought out in them through learning they would have a future child together, was the reason why they couldn't currently make eye contact with each other at the moment.

Eric just chuckled lightly. "Sure, friends don't end up being married for over two decades."

"Holy." Caroline started.

"Shit!" Stefan finished.

"What did you say?" Bonnie and Damon voiced at the same time.

Eric emphasized. "You two are going to be in a rock solid marriage which will last for slightly over two decades as if the year 2044, where you are still in that rock solid marriage. Where you will have one big happy family, with your daughter Autumn Bennett-Salvatore. So, I guess congratulations are in order for your future happy lives."

Damon muttered. "How about that."

Bonnie repeated. "Yeah, how about that."

And for a while there was a lengthy pause of silence as awkwardness thickly hung in the air.

However before they could even begin to recover from, react to, or address the twin bombshells that Eric had dropped relating to Damon and Bonnie's future lives together, they were interrupted by the sound of footsteps hastily coming towards where they were in the library.

They all had been so distracted by what Eric had been telling them, that they hadn;t noticed as a sixth person had now joined them in the Boarding House. And the sixth person in which those hasty footsteps belonged to was Enzo.

Enzo had been at the cabin when Bonnie had called him and informed him of some alarming circumstance which had happened to her at the park she went to in order to get some exercise in. She couldn't go into detail about what the alarming circumstance was, but just let him know she would be late due to her having to go to the boarding house.

This obviously worried Enzo as he wondered what could have happened to his girlfriend which could be described as alarming. So, he left his cabin about five minutes after he ended the phone call with her, then he jumped into his vehicle to make his way over to the boarding house as quickly as he could.

It took him a little time to get there, since his cabin and the Salvatore brothers home was located in different parts of the area. So, he had entered the boarding house, as he spotted Bonnie's car in the driveway and knew she was here at the boarding house for sure. When he came in, he picked up on the sound of voices coming from the library and made his way towards it.

Which had been when he heard something that made him stop in his tracks. His ears picked up the voice of some man in which he didn't recognize. He heard nothing of what this man said earlier, yet it appeared this man was having a conversation with Damon, Bonnie, Stefan and Caroline. Before Enzo could even begin to question why the four were discussing things with this strange man, in which he never heard the voice of before, he heard the very thing which made him pause in his steps.

Enzo heard the man's voice as he affirmed how Damon and Bonnie would be parents together sometime in the future. He heard this man's declaration of how Damon was to be the father of Bonnie's future daughter. Then he heard this man's voice go on to declare how Damon and Bonnie would end up getting married to each other in the future and then tell them how congradulations must be in order for their future happy lives together.

Needless to say this instantly bothered and incensed the British vampire. Hearing this man make these claims on how his girlfriend, Bonnie Bennett apparently would be married to and have a child with Damon Salvatore, of course didn't settle well with Enzo. In fact he wasn't going to settle for it, he didn't know who this man was, but he wasn't going to accept this nonsense about Bonnie being with another man in the future, especially Damon Salvatore of all men. Enzo didn't know what this man was on about, yet he planned to confront him and find out just what he was on about.

With that, Enzo barged his way into the library like a swat team charging into a building after bursting through a door with a battering ram. "The hell is all this."

"Wonderful, the will be ex-boyfriend has joined us." Eric's tone was heavy with sarcasm as he said this.

Damon had the urge to make a 'Well, that escalated quickly.' type of joke, yet decided against it. As from Enzo's reaction, he seemingly heard Eric's statements about who would be married to Bonnie and be the future father of her daughter.

Bonnie, realizing how her current boyfriend must have somehow timed his arrival at just the time in which Eric had informed her about her future love life and shared parenthood with Damon, opened her mouth to speak.

"Who in the hell are you?" Enzo cut off whatever Bonnie was about to say, as he glared at Eric.

"I'm Eric Northman." Eric replied in a calm manner despite the fact of Enzo's approaching him with such aggressive, aggravated emotions.

"I don't care what your name is." Enzo snapped out. "Why are you here, where do you come from?"

Eric responded with slight amusement towards Enzo's incensed mood. "I've come from a future time period, with the purposes of giving a dire warning to Damon Salvatore and Bonnie Bennett about their lives being endangered.

Enzo angrily returned. "Look I don't know what your ploy is about all of this, but I suggest you take your leave now."

Eric committed coolly. "It's not a ploy and I'm not going anywhere."

"Of course it's a ploy, you're here telling my girlfriend this asinine story."

Eric narrowed his eyes at the British vampire.

"Now, I don't know what you're on about or what your motive is, but I won't have you fill her head with such ridiculous nonsense about her future." Enzo went on getting more and more worked up.

Bonnie kept her eyes on Enzo, growing a little uncomfortable as he seemed to be getting more worked up with each word he spoke.

"I mean you want me to believe that she would have an affair with him." Enzo lashed out. "Of all men."

Damon took some offense to how Enzo worded and said this, as he was implying him as some sort of personal insult to Damon, yet he said nothing and watched as the British vampire's mood kept unraveling.

"I'm assuming by your aggravation, you must have had the timing to overheard all I recently just revealed about Ms. Bonnie Bennett's future life." Eric vocalized.

"Yes, I heard your ridiculous statement about how my girlfriend would have an affair with Damon Salvatore."

"Then you should have heard me say that Bonnie Bennett and Damon Salvatore would be in a marriage together which will last for over two decades." Eric vocalized this in a condescending manner.

Enzo scoffed.

Eric directed at Enzo in much the same way a parent figure would speak to a young child who wasn't getting their way and decided to throw a tantrum about it. "Affair, marriage, you shouldn't have to look up those two words to know how they differ from each other and have different meanings."

The way in which Eric spoke to him, only had Enzo more vexed. "Who do you think you are?"

"Already told you, I'm Eric Northman."

"I don't care who you call yourself, but I will not stand for your false fabrications about Bonnie's life."

"Oh, they're not fabrications at all, they are one hunded percent forthright."

Enzo kept growing more irate towards Eric. "First you fill her head with the affair, marriage or whatever nonsense, then you fill her head with her having some future child with Damon again out of all men."

Bonnie, seeing her current boyfriend growing more irate, tried to step in to calm him down. "Enzo…"

Once again Enzo cut off what she was about to say rather rudely this time. "This Augusta."

"Autumn." Eric corrected becoming increasingly annoyed with the British vampire.

"So, you're trying to get my girlfriend to believe she has some girl in the future?"

"I know she does, as I've said before, I've laid eyes on Autumn myself many times. And by both physical appearance and personality traits, she's clearly the future offspring of both Ms. Bennett and Mr. Salvatore."

Enzo's nostrils flared. "Oh, yeah if she is going to be their future offspring, then how about telling us when she's going to be born."

Eric answered without hesitation. "April 23rd, 2024." Then challenged Enzo. "Anymore questions?"

Enzo rambled. "Even if such a birth date were true, which I date that it is, Damon couldn't possibly be the father of my girlfriend's child."

Damon kept on observing Enzo in silence, he wasn't sure he ever saw the British vampire so irate. If vampires were capable of doing so, Damon was sure that Enzo's face would be beet red from the way he was steaming with anger over Eric Northman's twin bombshell.

"But, Bonnie will have a future child in which Damon will be the father of." Eric spoke to Enzo like he was a worrisome fly buzzing around his head in which he wanted to swat away.

"Vampires can't have children."

"In most cases we can't, but this one case with Autumn Bennett-Salvatore will be the exception."

Enzo laughed but there was no humor behind it. "So, Bonnie's going to give birth to a vampire then?"

Eric pronounced. "She's actually going to give birth to a hybrid, a half vampire and half witch."

Again for the countless times that night, Damon and Bonnie found themselves astonished by the words coming out of Eric's mouth.

"Bollocks." Enzo spat. "That's not possible,"

"It is when it comes to Autumn, I've seen her display both sides of her abilities. Including her vampire strengths and her fangs, which she has a very lovely set of by the way." Eric remarked. "And I've witnessed her very powerful witch abilities."

"You've witnessed nothing." Enzo barked back. "In fact I'm sure there is no Autumn at all."

Eric's mood darkened towards the British vampire, he really didn't like anyone speaking negatively about Autumn in any form. "You're starting to tread on thin ice there."

Yet, Enzo kept going. "For a matter of fact, this girl either has nothing to do with Bonnie at all. Or you completely made her up, She doesn't exist anywhere other than your delusional mind. I bet this 'Autumn Isn't even real."

Eric flashed his fangs in warning. "Watch yourself and your mouth."

Enzo glowered. "Watch myself? Why because I can't possibly comprehend my girlfriend's life turning into getting married to Damon and then having some supernatural hybrid girl with him?"

"Well, I wouldn't expect a simple minded fuck such as yourself to be able to comprehend." Eric retorted.

"You call me simple minded." Enzo raised his voice. "You lying, dick-faced wanker."

Caroline being the one who loved to keep the peace spoke up. "Come on guys, let's just chill. We're all on the same side here."

Enzo folded his arms across his chest. "No, we're not all on the same side."

Eric sighed. "The rest of us are on the same side if you choose not to hold out. You see Damon and Bonnie's lives are in danger by an unhinged wench who is out on the loose right now. Now if you're so concerned about your girlfriend as you keep insisting on calling her then pay close attention to what I'm telling you next."

Enzo said nothing.

"Her life is in serious peril, as an attempt was already made on it earlier tonight. And the woman who is after Bonnie's life isn't going to stop until she succeeds at killing her. You have two choices, you could either choose to join the rest of us in putting a stop to the woman known as Skyler Parker. And thus prevent her from making more attempts on your current girlfriend's life."

"Or you can choose not to do anything. If you wish to help, great" But, if you don't wish to offer aid in helping us." Eric shrugged. "Whatever, all I know is that Bonnie's life is in jeopardy and I intend to do all that I can in order protect and save the life of both and Damon Salavtore's."

"I don't believe you." Enzo shook his head.

"Just so happens to be I really don't give a shit about convincing you. As long as the two most important people in this situation, Bonnie and Damon believe me, then I really don't care about you believing me or not. " Eric rebuked. "Because you see, Enzo St. John, your relevance is of zero importance to me."

Enzo stepped forward to the taller vampire. "Why you…"

Bonnie having enough of Enzo going off of the rails intervened. "Enzo, stop."

The British vampire switched his attention over to Bonnie. "He's lying to you."

"I have to hear what he has to say." Bonnie returned.

"You can't honestly believe him…" Enzo started to say.

"I understand your reaction, I get why you must be filled with foreboding and apprehension about all of what you heard relating to my future life." Bonnie obviously didn't have to go into the details of why the British vampire was upset. "I understand but I need you also to understand how extremely important it is for me to hear all of what Eric has to reveal to me. There's more which I need to know from him."

Enzo frowned.

"Please, Enzo." Bonnie pleaded with her current boyfriend.

"Fine." Enzo grumbled.

Bonnie returned her attention to Eric. "You mentioned Skyler Parker being angry and wrathful towards my daughter?"

Eric nodded. "Correct."

Damon's investment in this reveal had grown since learning of himself being the one who would procreate with Bonnie. "And why would Skyler Parker seek out vengeance against Autumn."

Eric said. "It all relates to the son Skyler Parker had with Kai Parker."

Damon balked. "So, you're telling me that the demented duo gets together and have a kid?"

"Rohan Parker, they named him. " Eric made a face. "He's a siphoner or was a siphoner in the same manner Kai Parker was. And he took the worst traits of his parents and embraced them. He's a sociopath like Kai Parker was and is as unhinged, with anger control issues as Skyler Parker is and he's really one piece of work."

Bonnie nearly shuddered with the thought of Kai Parker, her tormentor having a son who was just as sociopathic as him.

Eric continued. "And he behaved like a super entitled, spoiled, smug, conceited, stuck up, cocky, little prick."

Bonnie furrowed her brow. "And why would Rohan Parker connect to Autumn in this situation?"

"Kai and Skyler Parker went out of their way to make sure their son had the same psychotic and twisted traits and motives that they do. And one of their motives was to seek revenge on the two of you. They made it their goal to try and punish you two for what they still viewed as Kai being betrayed and wrong when he was beheaded. So, in this vindictive goal of theirs, they wanted to punish you two by targeting the most precious person in your lives." Eric mentioned.

"Hurt the parents through harming their child.." Damon understood.

"Exactly. They figured they could weaponize Rohan, they filled his mind with rage and the thirst for vengeance in the most violent, painful way. And Rohan Parker eagerly made it his mission to make his parents proud. Although it seems like he wanted to prove himself to his father the most, make Kai proud through putting you two through the pain and heartbreak of losing Autumn. And therefore Rohan became obsessed with his assignment to end the life of Autumn Bennett-Salvatore and he just became obsessed with her in general." Eric finished.

Bonnie announced with a grim expression. "And making parents pay for what he feels like is betrayal, through wanting to suffer through the crushing grief and heartache of losing a child is right up Kai Parker's alley."

"It sure is." Damon muttered in agreement.

Eric went further. "One of the reasons why Rohan Parker grew obsessed with Autumn, is because he and his ego needed to prove how much more powerful he was than her. And he siphons many witches and warlocks in his preparation to try and take Autumn out. But, all of those he drained from still wouldn't be enough to match up against Autumn."

"The two of them have a showdown. Where it's clear that his powers are at all no match for her magical potency. It actually doesn't turn out to be much of a fight really. Autumn eliminates him after toying with him some."

Bonnie shifted where she was seated. "You mean she kills him?"

Eric nodded.

"How do you know she does or will for sure." Bonnie inquired.

"Because I was there right in the warehouse when she executed him, sending the vicious little prick to the death he deserved." Eric responded.

"And how does she go about killing the little prick?" Damon tilted his head.

Eric made a motion across his neck. "Decapitates him using her magic."

And just like that thoughts entered Damon's mind, because if he did indeed have a child with magical powers, he could really envision him or her taking out their adversary through beheading them. It also wasn't lost on him how his potential daughter had killed the son, in much of the same fashion he had killed the father.

"If this is actually the case of her taking out Parker's offspring, then way to go Autumn!" Damon exclaimed.

Which earned a glare from Enzo.

"So, Skyler Parker wants to seek vengeance on my daughter, because my daughter ends the life of her son?" Bonnie connected the dots.

"Yes, in sending herself back to kill you, she believes she can kill two birds with one stone by coming into the past before Autumn is even born, she can essentially wipe out Autumn from where she exists in the future." Eric commented. "But, she also, as I said, wants to seek revenge on Damon as well by murdering him. And in doing so would still reach the same goal of getting revenge on Autumn, through murdering either of her parents in the past, which is considered to be now in the year 2017 where we currently are."

Damon and Bonnie's heads were spinning with all of the repeated bombshells and shocking information that were being dropped on them. Stefan and Caroline were transfixed in stunned silence by all they were hearing. While Enzo kept on becoming more and more incensed.

Eric concluded. "Kai, Skyler and Rohan Parker all come together to create one of the most depraved and evil families I have ever seen in my life. And this is with me being around for quite a few centuries. They intended to chao destruction and wreak havoc in the most cruel of ways. They were stopped from doing so in the future, yet Skyler Parker wants to use her time traveling ritual as an opportunity to get another chance for herself, husband and son to reign down destruction on the earth. And we all must stop her from doing that."

Bonnie said after a while. "You say my daughter has magic like me right?"

Eric confirms "She does very powerful magic."

"What are you doing?" Enzo asked as he still needed to be skeptical about the accounts Eric Northman made about her future.

"I can prove once and for all whether or not I will actually have a daughter and potentially have her with will you know." Although she didn't say his name, everyone in the room knew she was talking about Damon. "And therefore cast out any last doubts I may have of this daughter of mine existing in the future."

"And how can you do that?" Damon asked her gently without looking at her

Enzo snapped out. "Stay out of this, Salvatore."

Damon retorted. "How are you going to ask me to stay out of it, when I have been mentioned as a key role in these possible visions of the future."

Enzo was about to say something back to Damon.

"Hey, calm down." Stefan spoke up as the last thing needed right now was for his brother and Enzo to get into a fight, verbal or otherwise.

Bonnie sighed. "If I had something of hers she put her magic in or casted a spell on, I could tell for sure."

Eric perked up. "Magic, you mean like a daylight ring?"

Bonnie focused on the tall vampire. "You have a daylight ring?"

Eric noted with adoration and appreciation in his voice and a sparkle in his eyes as he spoke of his daylight ring and the woman who made it for him. "Autumn, she casted a spell over a ring I owned, the spell which allows vampires to walk in daylight. She used her magic and gave me the incredible ability to be able to walk in the sun without burning."

"That will work." Bonnie said.

"Really?" Damon arched a brow.

"I'll be able to sense the magic in the ring, then detect specifically whether or not the witch who casted the spell belongs to the Bennett Witch lineage." Bonnie commented.

"I didn't know you could do that." Said Caroline.

Bonnie uttered. "It's a skill I just picked up recently, The skill to ascertain the particular bloodline of the witch who put their magic into the rings. If I could feel the ring, then I would know whether or not for sure the chances of it coming from someone with Bennett Witch blood, which would include any potential daughter of mine."

Eric directed this question to Bonnie. "So, you would be able to feel the magic in my ring and know that it's from a woman who shares your blood. Would you like for me to give you mine?"

"Yes, I would like to feel the magic in it." Bonnie decided.

"Bonnie, you can't possibly entertain this man's delusions." Enzo protested.

Bonnie signaled the British vampire to stop protesting, then she held out her hand to Eric.

Eric removed the daylight ring from his finger, then proceeded over to Bonnie where he handed it to her.

Reaching for the ring, Bonnie took a hold of it and took a moment to study it. From the design of Eric's ring, it seemed like the ring was made several centuries back, but it held up good and was still in great condition.

Taking a breath, Bonnie placed the ring within the palm of her hand. She closed her eyes to concentrate on Eric Northman's ring. It took a few seconds for her to feel it, at first it came on subtle. Then the magic she detected from it became stronger and stronger until it nearly flowed throughout her own form. And the magic was super powerful and strong. Amazingly so. She had felt the daylight rings some other witches had done, and yet nothing even came close to the magic she felt in Eric Northman's particular daylight ring.

"Oh, Wow." Bonnie spoke after a while.

"What is it?" Caroline asked her friend.

"The magic in this ring is very potent, even as formidable as mine, maybe even more so." Bonnie expressed.

Stefan leaned forward. "Can you tell what lineage the witch who spelled the ring comes from?"

Her hand, the one which held the ring, slightly shook as she could feel the potent magic flow through it. "I Can."

"And?" Came Damon's voice.

"The witch who spelled this ring belongs to my lineage." Bonnie stated as she was now mesmerized by this particular magic in Eric Northman's ring.

"Are you mistaken." This was Enzo speaking, as he still refused to believe any of this to be the truth.

:"I'm not." Bonnie vocalized in an overwhelmed manner. "The woman who made this daylight ring is a Bennett Witch, just like I am."

Damon who was amazed by what he heard Bonnie state about Eric Northman's daylight ring mouthed 'Whoa."

Stefan and Caroline were one again transfixed due to this relation.

Eric smiled knowingly, knowing it was Autumn's magic in which her future mother was feeling.

Enzo, however, still wanted to put up resistance. "Just because the magic in the ring belongs to someone with Bennett Witch lineage, doesn't prove a thing."

Everyone looked at Enzo.

Enzo added. "Even if there is Bennett Witch power in that daylight ring, it doesn't prove it belonged to Autumn or whatever her name is. The explanation for this is simple."

"And what would that explanation be?" Asked Bonnie. "Because the magic in this ring, one percent without a doubt, is Bennett Witch magic."

"Then if it is, it must have been done by one of the Bennetts who came before you, one of the ones you descend from." The desperation echoed in Enzo's voice as he could tell she was leaning more and more into believing what Eric was telling her.

"I assure you." Eric directed this at Bonnie more so than Enzo. "The only two Bennett witches I've ever met is yourself and your daughter, who was the one who made my daylight ring for me."

Stefan spoke up. "At least I know for sure Emily Bennett didn't make it for him."

Caroline looked at her husband. "How do you figure that?"

Stefan explained. "Because, Emily would have always let us know every single vampire who she ever made a daylight ring for."

Damon thought about it. "Yeah, she would actually and she never mentioned making a ring for any vampire by the name of Eric Northman."

"The brothers are correct." Bonnie uttered.

"What?" Enzo said.

"My Grams, Emily Bennett, Amelia Bennett." Bonnie inputted. "They all would keep journals or chronicles in which they would write down every single vampire they ever made daylight rings for and none of them have the name Eric Northman in them."

"That's because my daylight ring didn't come from one of your ancestors." The Viking vampire stated in a calm, matter of fact manner. "It came from a Bennett Witch who came over you, your very own child."

Bonnie handed the ring back to Eric.

Eric slipped his daylight ring back on and went on politely. "Since you now feel the magic in my ring is clearly the magic of your daughter, can we all just now join up together to take out and take down Skyler Parker?"

Enzo could tell how every other person in the room, Damon, Bonnie, Stefan and Caroline were really starting to buy into Eric Northman's story. And this bothered him very much, especially because he believed Bonnie was truly starting to believe.

Once again, Enzo became irate. "Come on all of you, you can't honestly be falling for this man's hogwash. He's playing all of you for fools. Completely pulling the wool over your eyes. He completely just made everything up out of his ass."

"What would his motivation be to make something so detailed and elaborate?" Stefan inquired from the British vampire.

"I don't know." Enzo huffed out exasperated. "He has some sort of ulterior motives obviously. I say we disregard everything he told us or he claimed happened. And tell this liar to get lost, then send him on his way and go on about all regular lives."

"I already told you I'm not going anywhere, not with the risk to Damon and Bonnie's lives." Eric told Enzo coolly.

Enzo scowled at Eric.

"I actually agree with Mr. Northman." Caroline looked towards Enzo. "I'm not willing to risk dismissing him and then having my best friend and brother in law end up dead because we dismissed Mr. Northman's word about all of this."

Stefan concurred. "Better to be safe than sorry. If we disregard Eric's word like you're suggesting we do, Enzo, and Skyler Parker turns out to be a real threat, then we will severely regret it if either Damon or Bonnie ends up hurt or worse. And I'm not willing to risk that either."

Damon raised a hand. "I'm not either, I for one find Eric Northman's word very reliable and he seems like a credible man."

Enzo snapped at Damon. "Of course you would want to find Eric Northman's word reliable. The hogwash he made up must sound like a dream life to you."

Damon pinned down the British vampire with a steely, stony, challenging gaze.

A seething Enzo went on in an accusatory tone. "I bet you would love the idea of having some fairy tale life with my girlfriend where you're married to her and father her child. I'm sure it would be everything you could ever dream or hope for. So, of course you would want her to convince her that this fantasy future and the life you have with her could be true. Of course you would want her to believe Northman's lies."

"You know what, screw you, Enzo, I have no control over the events which occured and unfolded tonight. And while I'm not keen on the idea of Kai's crazy wife coming for my head. My priority here is Bonnie." Damon retaliated. "Bonnie and her life are extremely valuable to me and I'd do all I could, including give my own life to protect her. So, whether you like it or not, that means I'm taking Eric Northman's words seriously. If he says her life is in danger, then I'm going to make myself aware to do what I can to prevent some demented chick from making an attempt on it."

"So, yes I'm willing to put trust and faith in Eric Northman, if that means keeping Bonnie safe. For that reason I'm not going to go along with your dumb suggestion of just getting rid of him and pretending like nothing happened. I say for my life and especially for Bon's that we keep him around until further notice."

Stefan raised a hand. "I second that."

Caroline raised hers well. "And I third."

"Well, St John it looks like you've been overruled and I'm sticking around." Eric smirked.

But, Enzo waved a hand dismissively. "What do the rest of you matter, there's only one person in this room I care about convincing."

And that person to Enzo was Bonnie, Bonnie was the first woman or one of the few women in his life who didn't either reject or abandon him. He searched the earth for years for a woman who would love and accept him. And all of the years of him being rejected left him with serious abandonment issues and big insecurities about himself.

His pursuit of Lily Salvatore and trying to win over her heart, had ended in failure with him being rejected once more. Then after Lily died, finally came Bonnie, who accepted him and gave him all of the love and affections he so desperately had been searching for. Bonnie's acceptance made him feel better about himself, like he was worth something. And she soothed his abandonment and insecurity issues with her ensuring words that she loved him and would be loyal to his heart.

Yet, now by Eric Northman's account of things, Enzo feared he was about to lose all he had gained with Bonnie Bennett. If what Northman said was the truth, then it meant for Enzo, how Bonnie would either end up leaving him or rejecting him. And his abandonment issues couldn't handle the thought of that. Especially not with her ending up together with Damon Salvatore of all people.

Because of all of this, Enzo was desperate to convince Bonnie to believe Eric Northman's account of things.

"My love, please, I'm telling you not to listen to this wanker. Just forget all he told you." Enzo pleaded to Bonnie. "And come home with me to continue the wonderful life we have together and let's act like none of this ever happened."

Bonnie was conflicted. On one hand, she didn't wish to hurt Enzo's feelings or the other she didn't believe Eric Northman was lying to her or Damon. She believed Eric to be honest and sincere with his claims. Especially when she felt the potent magic from his daylight ring which came from a witch of her bloodline.

From Eric's standpoint, he could see Enzo St John trying to plant the seeds of doubt in Bonnie's head. And he wasn't about to let such a thing happen, as for Autumn's sake, her life depended on both her parents believing him. Which was why for Autumn's sake, he chose to go with something he knew would seal Bonnie's faith in him. As he already had Damon on board.

"Your daughter has the pendent you gave to her." Eric announced to Bonnie.

"Did you just say something about a pendant?" Bonnie returned her full attention to Eric in alert.

"I believe your grandmother, the one you call Grams gave you a pendant to give to your daughter on her seventh birthday." Enzo directed.

Bonnie's bottom lip trembled slightly with emotion.

Eric emphased. "The future version of yourself indeed does give it to Autumn on her birthday when she turned seven. And Autumn treats that pendant with the utmost importance and meaning because of where it came from and who gave it to her."

Bonnie swallowed. "Could you describe what this pendant looks like?"

"It's a oval shaped pendant of a unique make, you know like it was crafted by an individual person rather than mass produced." Eric elucidated. "And on the back of it is an inscription which says, 'For my Great Granddaughter, with love from Sheila "Grams" Bennett."

Bonnie released a breath as an overflow of emotion overtook her. Eric Northman had just described to her perfectly the pendent she had, in which she received from Grams. He even explained the exact instructions in which her Grams had given it to her for. She became engulfed in her feelings due to the meaningfulness behind the pendant and Eric somehow knowing about it, even though she had never seen or met Eric Northman before this night. Which could only make his credibility more possible as far as his claims about her future daughter were.

Damon's ears heard Bonnie's heartbeat pick up it's pace against her ribcage and knew from her reaction how this pendant and the description of it by Eric, must have been having a big impact on her and how the pendant must have been of significance to her.

Bonnie had heard enough, the details about the pendant her Grams had given to her, sealed off any last doubts she may have had in her mind. "I've made my decision."

"Please, tell me that it's to disregard all of this and just to come home with me." Enzo said.

"I'm sorry, Enzo but I can't do that." Bonnie directed at her current boyfriend as gently as she could. "Again I understand your apprehension over this and I know that this must upset you. But, my learning of my potential future is too important and treasured for me to dismiss or disregard."

"Especially if it relates to my life being in danger in the present. I can't afford not to treat this possible threat seriously, because the consequences would be dire for me or Damon, if there's this woman out there who wants to kill us and we just pretend like she isn't there. The last thing I want is to lose my life, in a way which is avoidable because of choosing to forgo a valid warning I received beforehand. So, it's because of this that I'm voting with the others. I decide we should also keep Eric Northman around and listen to whatever other valuable information he has to give us about Skyler Parker. If she's real then we need his knowledge to know how to take her out, before she takes us out." Bonnie concluded.

Eric was relieved to hear her say this. "Good, I'm glad you've come around to believing me. Trust me, you won't regret taking me at my word."

Damon worded quizzically. "So what now then, what do we do next?"

Eric replied. "I guess you two, are safe for tonight, still for the very close future, the both of you will want to watch your backs and be very aware of your surroundings."

"Watch our backs, got it." Damon returned.

"Yeah, the safe bet is to be super aware and guarded for sure." Bonnie rubbed her arm.

"Until then, I'll take my leave for tonight." Eric reached into his pocket and pulled out two small business like cards in which he had written on. "This is my address to the apartment I'm staying in for the remainder of this time period until the Skyler Parker threat is taken care of."

Damon took the card he held out, as did Bonnie.

Eric continued. "If either one of you has any questions or any more information you need to know, just come to the apartment of that address."

Damon acknowledged Eric. "We'll keep that in mind."

"I'm glad you will." Eric said to Damon, before directing towards Bonnie. "I realize all of this information I gave you must be an overload to your emotions and for that I apologize. But, just know I'm doing this because I care very deeply about the daughter you will have in the future."

"Yes, I get that." Bonnie returned to Eric.

"My suggestion is you don't go anywhere much alone." Eric added. "Not until Skyler Parker is taken out at least. She has less chance of succeeding if you have someone else with you, watching out for most of the time."

Damon muttered. "Sound advice."

Eric headed towards the entrance of the library. "I'll take my leave now."

Enzo shifted his body to block Eric's path, he tensed up his body in a challenging stance.

Eric merely stared down Enzo with a mixture of mild annoyance and amusement.

Enzo glared at Eric with incensity, as if he wanted to hit the blonde vampire.

"Excuse me." Eric told Enzo. He knew he could easily snap the British vampire in half since he was a one thousand year old vampire, yet refrained himself from doing so, because he didn't believe it would help to get on Autumn's mother's good side.

"Let him go, Enzo." Bonnie directed to her current boyfriend.

Enzo relunactly stepped out of the way.

"I'll be speaking with you soon." Eric stated to Damon and Bonnie, before making his way out of the library where he exited the house.

With Eric Northman having left the boarding house, Bonnie was left to her feelings. Between finding out her tormentor Kai Parker had at one point been brought back to life, to her tormentor having a wife and a son, to her finding out she had a daughter, with Damon, who she would be potentially married to in the future and the fact of her and Damon's lives being in danger by Kai Parker's wife, all combined to overwhelm Bonnie's feelings. Her emotions and thoughts were staggering and she realized she needed some time to herself.

"I need some time to myself to think this all through." Bonnie stammered.

"We need to talk." Enzo said to her.

Bonnie got to her feet. "We can talk later."

Enzo started to protest. "But…"

"I just need some space right now." Bonnie cut him off.

"What do you figure I do until then?" Enzo frowned.

"You can go home to the cabin." Bonnie replied. "I'll eventually be back there once I take an hour or so to have space for myself."

"Okay, then." Enzo relented, giving her a hug to reassure himself and certain abandonment feelings raging inside of him. "I'll see you there."

Over Enzo's shoulder, Bonnie's eyes locked on Damon's. And through unsaid, intense communication they could tell how they shared the same feelings on the events which had just occurred. And those feelings were how the implications of their potential future lives together, had each feeling riveted, astounded and profound.

Bonnie released herself from Enzo's grasp.

Damon stood and approached her. Although he himself was reeling off all Eric Northman revealed, he was more concerned about her. "Will you be alright?"

"A little shaken." Bonnie admitted to the Eldest Salvatore with a slight smile. "Other than that, fine I guess. I just need a little time to myself to collect and gather my emotions and thoughts over all of this."

"Understandable." Damon voiced in a soft tone. "I'll be here if you need anything."

"I know." She whispered to him.

Enzo didn't like the small conversation they were having, yet he held his tongue.

Bonnie made her move to leave.

"Where are you going?" Stefan asked.

"Not too far, just on a little drive to, as I said, have some space to myself." Bonnie answered.

"I know why you must need space for your thoughts." Stefan remarked. "But, like Eric Northman suggested, maybe you shouldn't be going alone."

Damon added. "I guess it would be best if you had someone with you."

Caroline volunteered. "I'll go with her."

Bonnie glanced at Caroline. "You will?"

Caroline stated. "Just so you won't be alone, as we don't know what dangers are really out there. As Stefan said, better safe than sorry."

"You know, on second thought, I could use the company of my childhood friend." Bonnie considered. "I guess it's better if I had you go with me as a precaution after what almost happened at the park. Plus, for a bonus I could use some girl to girl talk to unload my feelings."

"Well, I'm always here when you need some girl to girl talk or to unload some of your feelings." Caroline's tone filled with support. "And anytime you need my shoulder to lean on."

"Alright, you and I can go on a drive together." Bonnie decided with gratitude towards her blond, woman friend.

"Better yet, we can go in my car and I'll drive you around for about an hour or so for you to gather yourself." Caroline expressed.

Bonnie returned. "That's a great idea, I can at least fully concentrate on gathering myself that way, without even having to worry about getting distracted while driving."

Caroline turned to her husband. "I'll be right back in a little over an hour."

Stefan nodded at his wife. "Okay."

Caroline exchanged a quick kiss with Stefan, before she proceeded to walk out of the library, motoning for Bonnie to come with her.

Bonnie gives one last look towards Damon, before following Caroline out of the room and out of the boarding house hoping that a drive with her childhood friend will settle her overwhelmed emotions.
